621  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Percentage Down from ATH on: July 07, 2022, 10:14:34 AM
What everyone to know is even Bitcoin face a crash every 4 years until now, but the price keep increased!

2013-14: ~$100
2017-18: ~$3,000
2021-22: ~$20,000

We should look on different perspective and if we look on this, we all can say Bitcoin price always increase no bad the crash is. Does 2021-22 the price will go down till 82%? we don't know, but I trust Bitcoin and keep buy every dip if I can.
Most of us already feel this, that is why they don't complain anymore but instead they continue buying and hodling but for those who started to doubt bitcoin just because its price keeps on dumping, well they need to study its history again because maybe they missed something by the time they started their journey here.

When people have a different perspective or approach, they will see the dumping of the price as an advantage to buy more. An 82% down is I think still possible as that didn't crossed the previous 4yr down yet which is 84%. That must be the lowest that we can get or what we call the real bottom in the event it truly occurs.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 07, 2022, 08:49:22 AM
Tottenham's chance of winning the Premier League title doesn't seem too high for new season honestly. Conte has really made a good impact on the team that's obvious and they can be more successful also next season. However I think that this team are still not as capable as taking Manchester City and Liverpool both down in the standings. Maybe they can do that to Chelsea but I don't expect more than that. Tottenham still need time to get closer to the front row.
You never can tell of a truth. If you can confidently say that Tottenham has no chances of contending for the league title, it therefore means that Manchester United has no hope for top 6 in the table. I mean Tottenham has improved very well lately and they are able to take down any team on a good day.

I so much understand that Manchester City and Liverpool are the strongest of EPL and they have also reinforced their team for next season debut, but in football, anything can actually happen.
After having very good and successful first season now Conte is doing some good signings which are going to improve quality in club, and surely they are going to be tough challenge for top ranked teams in next season with having great chance for staying here on same place because now all teams at top doing big investments and want to stay here which is not easy.

If we can check things at top then surely Manchester City and Liverpool both strengthening their squads mean they still fight for next title and Chelsea is also having good transfers which is giving good impression with this all Tottenham can stay here but still having chance for title is not easy because top two are in much better shape and having now weak points for challengers.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Airdrop Sharing on: July 07, 2022, 07:02:54 AM
If he is desperate then let him try airdrops. Don't worry he will accept any results even if it's negative but airdrops aren't the only one that is easy to do and can provide profits. There's also a social media review websites as suggested above and there's many more if only we are willing to explore and do a research.

Many suggest to do a bounty but didn't those people know that there are also scams in bounty? It's only much worse because you exert an effort for some weeks but in the end you won't get anything while in airdrops, the task needs to be done one time only and all you need to do after that is to wait for your reward to arrive in your wallet.
This is why crypto world is so hard to make money but also so easy to make money at the same time. There is always "some" money to be made somewhere, I feel like I would never starve to death when I am in crypto, I feel like I would find at least "some" jobs here and there, would pay horrible though. There are so many people in the world willing to work for so little that the line between "pay very little and get a terrible job done, or pay a lot and get a great job done" gets muddy sometimes.

Because, someone in USA doing a wonderful website would charge you at least 5k dollars, and that is understandable because that is how much his time worths, but in my nation if you pay someone 1k to build a website, you will get even better, because living here is cheaper and even the veteran developers would work for 1k.
624  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading is good for traders with passive mindset on: July 07, 2022, 06:36:03 AM
Trading can be a hectic endeavor must, especially for those who are not persistent in their trading journey, but those who put all their time and mind into trading will develop skills over time that makes them more stable in trading. So in conclusion trading is for the passive mindset and not for the laggy mindset.
Yup, trading is hectic and if you are a type of person who cant handle a hectic situation then trading is not for you. In trading one must be persistent here to try again if ever they fail on their first few attempts. I cant only agree on some of the terms that you used there like passive mindset.

I think this one is not appropriate in trading since trading is supposed to be an active activity so the mind of the trader must also be active at all times but indeed that a laggy mindset should be avoided. The only lag that can be accepted here is your internet connection because that was unavoidable. Sorry mate but the word passive best applies for investing.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: When I started driving. on: July 06, 2022, 10:16:18 PM
I've just had my 80th birthday, and I've been reflecting on some of the changes I've seen. When I started driving I could ask for 4 gallons of petrol ( there weren't any serve yourself pumps then), and I could give the attendant £1, and say keep the change. $ gallons today will cost over £36, and I have to serve myself. They keep saying inflation is low, but that doesn't seem low to me. Right now the producer price ines is up over 36%, and that is a more realistic indicator than the retail price index bandied about by the government.

It really does seem to be a way for the super-elite with their hereditary wealth to increase their asset value at the expense of the bulk of the population.
First of all, belated happy b-day!!! Didn't knew you were 80 now dang I thought you're just a teenager based on how you talk. Second of all don't worry as you aren't alone with this issue but the increase in the gas price is one of the hottest issues right now because a lot of us are using it regularly.

In our country, the gas stations here operate entirely differently, unlike to yours and in USA where you can self serve but there is no need for us to tip the gasoline boy because they do have their own salary. Who says inflation is low? The increase in the prices of the goods especially in the gas is one of the indications the the rates go up.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto Airdrop Sharing on: July 06, 2022, 08:33:33 PM
If I were you I would be very careful to interact with tokens that are given to you by airdrop.
The risk of having your account emptied is too high.
I always find it hard to trust someone who gives me money in exchange for nothing.
In this crypto space scams are very rampant here not only in airdrops. It is obvious if we are dealing with scam airdrops. They are those that will ask for a payment to get a token which they promised to have a good value. And there are those which has a big value upon you receive them but the catch is, that you need to unlock the coin by paying some amount.

A real legit airdrop do only has a realistic value and won't ask you to do things that you think are shady and seem to be obvious already. When we do airdrops we have been asked to do a certain task, it is like we market their tokens. That is the reason why we are being paid afterwards.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt-coin do you trust the most? on: July 06, 2022, 05:24:05 PM
ETH and BNB definitely gonna recover its ATH back eventually, its just obvious seeing that they have gone through the same thing so many times and always could regain its value back.
The other altcoins mostly in NFT i don't really sure since it seems the trend has faded. Instead i'd definitely invest in coin that's smart contract platform just like BNB and ETH since they are really the best if it comes in regaining its value back long term.
An nft is a token not an altcoin, judging by its name which is "non fungible token" if spelled in full. A real altcoin do has the ability to create a smart contract like what we saw in eth and in bnb. It's wise to invest on these kinds of alts because they have a utility. Devs or the common people will have a reason to buy them as they are being used to create or interact with the smart contracts.

Nft's are only good for display purposes and we aren't sure if they can retain their value the moment the trend passes out but maybe except to those nft which can be used in certain popular games or casinos because there will still be a demand for them.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WHY is Terra pumping ? on: July 05, 2022, 08:46:26 PM
As they want to portray that their project is not a total failure, definitely, they will have a dedicated group that will watch out their market. They are still careful these days as they want to show to the public that they are in the recovery mode. I hope those holders have learned their lessons and should do what needs to be done to recover your losses.
Not a failure? Lol, no matter what they do, they can't gain all the trust that they lost. It was the end of their project, many people lost a tons of money and many have lost their lives. I don't think it was the owners' group that we see on telegram and other messaging app but it was only created by a fan and those who are in to pump and dump schemes.

Those who are first time to invest on a scam project like this will definitely be more careful now on what they are dealing with but I think that many of the investors are not new anymore so no matter how you tell them to learn their lesson, they will still keep on repeating the same thing.
629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 05, 2022, 01:08:05 PM
Quote
This transfer window has been a very active and competitive one. A lot of players have been switching clubs, several deals been hijacked and all that and every club is looking to improve their squad for the coming season. As it looks the season feels like it would come down to who gets the best players to win the trophy and judging by signing it Manchester city, Liverpool and Tottenham already look like worthy contenders for the premier league trophy at the moment.
I think, many teams are seriously working to ensure they perform well in next season than this season. I think, Manchester city will still win next season title because despite they released some potential players in this season but they still have more talented players that can handle their position very well in next season. It will be difficult for Liverpool to perform well in next season, because of the talented striker they released out in this season which many Liverpool fans are not happy about the transfer.
Transfers having big impact on next season result as big investments are going around for this all and few teams surely are no stronger than last season and few are going weaker because they are fail to handle things properly.

Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea these are surely going to be teams to watch in next season because these are investing big amounts for bringing some quality players for their weak fields which are going to have big impact in this season with this all I am feeling it's not easy to predict about result of next season now any team can win title, and we can expect some upsets as well because now English Premier League is going to be the toughest day by day and competing with lower rank teams are also not easy for any big team.
630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: July 05, 2022, 06:35:24 AM

Tough test for both favorites. Nadal vs Fritz and Djokovic vs Sinner. I think if Djoker gets past Sinner, he will surely reach the finals as I think he should be able to beat Goffin/Norrie in the next round. Sinner absolutely dismantled one of the favs in Carlos Alcaraz with a convincing 4 set match win. How surprising is it that we are going to witness one of Garin or Kyrgios into the semi-finals of Wimbledon?
Surely now things are not easy for giants as they are fighting against few new generation players those have ability to beat them at court specially Sinner is having good time in last few months with Djokovic is also still in good shape which mean we can expect tough challenge. For other matches all are going to be more competitive as Goffin was in good shape, but recently he lost his concentration and now Norrie is also doing amazing.

Kyrgios can face some hard time as he is now having some issue with his shoulder which is not good signal and Nadal is having good matches after bad start, so he is also can go into last four or two as usual.
631  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for July on: July 04, 2022, 09:13:10 PM
Because of this, I voted NO.

source:

There could be a correction right now but I don't think it will fall down in that range.
Another factor is that I don't see any negative news that can affect the Bitcoin price, instead, it's possible other countries will do the same as El Salvador did which is the reason we're possible back to the bullish trend.
They say that the amount was too small and it seems they are right because it didn't shake the market much. There might be no negative news directly with btc but there are those scams, stablecoins de-pegging, crisis, inflation and many more which I think have an effect to the btc and the overall crypto market.

The bullish trend can occur even if without those countries that will make btc a legal tender but El Salvador isn't alone with it but there are countries which already made btc a legal tender last time. Even though many users are speculating that btc didn't reach its real bottom yet, I am still against them so my vote for the poll is no.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops vs Bounties on: July 04, 2022, 09:33:28 AM
Talking about airdrop nowadays for me it's hard to trust and earn through airdrop cause as we know that many scam sites catch your attention to participate with them but at the end of the day, they will leave without any further notice.  And in bounty campaigns yes you can earn money by joining bounty campaign which is the tweeter, youtube and others but what they are telling is that you need to find a good one so that you can earn. But if you need good income for sure getting a job is more effective.
Right, getting a job is the proper way for a better income, however, I still believe that there are many people that are using Bounty hunting for now for their main income as they don't have other jobs if you are able to work with the right Bounty projects. That said, some bounty projects have been painful over the years and Airdrops are totally out of it cos for those that do pay, it is mostly a small amount and the number of participants with these Airdrops is mind-boggling compared to what is allocated.
I mean that ain't that much of a bad idea at all. I am not saying that it is a great profit and everyone should do that. But we live in a world where 200-300 dollars is good enough for some peoples monthly living expenses, not me, I spend about a grand, but I still understand making lesser.

And these people end up realizing that if they have like 5 great accounts in everywhere, bitcointalk, twitter, etc etc and they could just end up writing and applying to all bounties, then they could easily make 300 dollars per month without a doubt. They could even make more and use that to grow bigger and get more money in the future. Sure this may not be a good job for an adult in USA, but it is quite cool for third world nation citizens.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Asian Cup 2023 Prediction and Discussion on: July 03, 2022, 08:41:59 AM
If I talk about the Asia tournament, they have a lot of strength. The teams are Malaysia, Japan,And all the teams in South Korea can go to the finals. Because if you think in Asia, you have to think about these teams. However, there are some teams that you think about Can't but will surprise you. Normal teams can play well at one time. However, among all these teams, Saudi Arabia has proved to be one of the best footballers and they can win the final in the 2023 Asia Cup.
Almost all national teams in Asia are now experiencing many rapid developments in the world of football. I will also not forget how Thailand, Vietnam, Korea Republic, Qatar, Indonesia, and also Japan have significant growth next season. So it will be very interesting right?
This is good development from many Asian countries as they are doing their best for quality of soccer because now they are understanding importance of this game. Korea and Qatar are well-developed countries, so they can invest big amounts which are good for the better future of this game, with this we can improve talent academies and facilities for many more other countries as well.

In last two decades we have good things happening in China, Japan and Korea because these are having some big investments in clubs level after them Middle East countries are also trying to fill space because now their youths are also having some good interest, and they want to give their best for their country as well.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The new bounty stopped coming? on: July 03, 2022, 05:55:20 AM
The current market condition is very hard and all coin dropped price. The old coin and token price huge dropped at this time.So what do you thik,New project will be successful at this time?I think bounties will be coming in future when market condition will be better.
I'm not sure about that, but I believe that something must have worked even in this kind of situation. Most people today are still working with their respective assets. Who would not be surprised by this very deep price drop, everyone must be in the same situation. But I'm sure that sooner or later everything will recover.
Yeah, most of the people like me who are still holding do not believe that it will go down and be finished. It's going to be something that will be not so beneficial for everyone of course, but it's not going to be here forever.

We will end up with a market that will be 100k+ per bitcoin one day, I believe this and this is why I am not selling any coins I own. Will I be right? I do not know, I could be right or I could be wrong but I know that even if I am wrong, I am not changing my mind right now. So, it's better to just hope that I am right, hold it as long as possible, even until I retire and be an old man, and then I would be relaxing. Until then, I will keep on believing in bitcoin.

Recently we have some good quality in Asian soccer but still it's very long way to go for them because here most of the countries are had issues in their domestic setup very few countries are going through their domestic setup but still it needs good experience and academies for having better results.

Currently, in quality African nations are much better than Asia as they are exporting too many players in UEFA and having good amount in their pockets which are increasing their setup and domestic setup and here we have only three or four countries which are having things for sending players to UEFA which is good place for experience and money for both player and country if they are able to set up things for this then surely it's going to help them in much better way.
636  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation seem like the only option left on: July 02, 2022, 06:09:26 PM
It's time for cryptocurrencies to have strict and clear rules, it's been more than 10 years but cryptocurrencies don't have clear regulations yet, this certainly makes us worry about the future, as happened with LUNA which was previously ranked 10 with a price of more than $100 but only take a week to be under 1 cent.
You want regulations, or do you want centralization? What happened to Luna was a bad thing, but if you put governments on top of these projects with a justice hammer, then they will still fail if they are going to fail but now they will also be controlled by the government as well. We have fiat for that and we do not need anything else.

Sure exchanges could be under control for example, because exchanges are corporations and they are not coins, and that is why they could be obliged to follow laws. But coins and tokens should be out of everyone's control, even the project creators should release it and then have as much power as we would, not anything more.
This is the real fear. There are so many people who are willing to invest into projects that are centralized these days that they are also willing to consider a government centralization to crypto as well. I feel that there is a good chance they could end up with something that would be scary, and hopefully that will not happen as a big deal right now, it should be something they do not talk about and stay in silence.

If we have government intervention then we are going to have to face the fact that some people will spend millions even maybe more than billions of dollars into those centralized and government controlled things and this would be end of decentralization in crypto as we know it.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is right time for investment ? on: July 02, 2022, 02:23:36 PM
The meme-coin hype is over and the tweets of Elon Musk have little or even no effect anymore because people are used to it. I think that meme-coins will sloly but surely die out. The biggest ones will maybe remain in the top 50 but that is it. So i would definitely not invest into shit-coins.
They are trending but it doesn't mean a good thing because at the end of the day, they are still a meme coin with no real use case and has an uncertain future so investing on them is pretty risky. Sorry to disappoint you but I believe that the project you mentioned there, isn't the first to offer a web 3 xxx experience though it looks cool to the eyes of those who are into meme coins because they can be able to earn different meme tokens as a form of reward.

It's like a one stop shop and there's no need for them to use other platforms only to acquire meme coins but anyways I see that you are scared to invest? Well, if that is the case then don't invest anything at all as investing do has its own risks.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 01, 2022, 06:59:06 PM
I am glad Muhammad Salah didn't make some mistakes that other players would likely make. His choice to extend his contract with Liverpool is a wise one and Liverpool finding a level ground of negotiation to land is great.

350k is very cool for Salah and I think it's the reason Liverpool let Mane go. They could not afford to pay Salah this high and yet under pay Mane. All things being good, I think Mane is fine where he is now.
A good deal for both parties which are going to give positive outlook because after departure of Sadio Mané this was also in rumors that he is also not going to extend his contract but after some wait we have positive news with increased salary which is acceptable for this legendary player.

Now with few new signings he is going to have some better change in game in next season because last season they give tough fight to Champions Manchester City, but now we will have competitive game even many feelings with the arrival of Haaland Manchester City still have edge, but surely it's not easy for any team with few other teams are also having good transfers as they are also want to have some impact on league table for next season.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: How Will Investing Help the Economy of a Country on: July 01, 2022, 03:41:30 PM
I think what has happened in El Salvador shows this. Despite all the hype, it doesn't seem to have attracted much investment.
Because it doesn't offer anything else other that the volcanic city mirage and because people know how unstable that region is, what happens if Buekele is out next year? It doesn't offer the assurance of continuity like Europe, and also it's not a rich country, manufacturing won't have any advantage, with finances it still lacks connections to other centers, Buekle had to first fix thousands of problems and then ask investors to come.
Malta, Gibraltar, and Singapore are different, they already have everything set in place, it was easy for them to tell bitcoiners to set up camp there.

If adopting bitcoin as legal tender would have solved everything and made everyone rich we would have seen a different world by now.
Bukele is just doing something large and big so that he could polarize people, that is the way politics have been in many nations. Any person who got popular enough to stay, did it all through the fact that they would get too popular by doing something that is "out there", like seriously weird stuff. He picked crypto for it, some pick religion, some pick political ideology that is hardcore, some pick something else.

And in order to defeat that person, all other parties get together, and a few smaller ones create a trouble anyway, etc etc etc. We have seen this plenty of times. Bukele isn't doing this because he cares about his people, no president ever did, he does it to be "different" than any other candidate.
640  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible that all cryptocurrency will become regulated? on: July 01, 2022, 11:58:05 AM
The government won't be able to regulate Bitcoin but for sure, they will find ways to control it. The government is now seeing the potential of crypto to provide higher taxes so there's also a big possibility that they will use exchanges to control crypto in a single country as well as the users and investors. Bitcoin has a strong foundation and it couldn't be regulated by any organization.
That is correct - government wants to keep the power in the hand of authority.
Regulating crypto means giving the power to the people which is a daunting task. Some countries like Russia and Korea are accepting but not all.
Regulating cryptocurrency is actually a very possible thing to execute but from the look of things, if the digital currency gets regulated, a few things are definitely going to start going wrong and when that happens, Bitcoin is no longer what we now know it to be. Actually, one of the weird feeling is to be in charge or in control of a particular place and something comes in and as the leader you are, it’s difficult or nearly impossible for you to have control over the operations of that thing in your territory, feels like you’re are being kicked off balance Cheesy.

So, it’s totally normal for them to want to be in control of everything but it seems like it will take a longer time to achieve that.
