641  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Working out Risk on a Trade on: December 23, 2023, 06:31:39 PM
So how would you classify risk on a trade?

Risk is if you are trading more than you can afford to lose. Its good that you have a strategy for your balance but ask yourself if you can go beyond that or cant lose a 20 bucks on a trade. Dont expect so much earning when you can leverage a 1% of your total assets. If you are trading with future then you must have confidence and ideal balance to support all your trades and avoid such terrible liquidity notification.
642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A kid makes millions by investing in Bitcoin and Ethereum on: December 23, 2023, 02:44:10 PM
This is one of the reasons I don't always believe what I read online, even with those ones with video proofs because their stories are not always consist. Regardless, it is inspiring for those who are still lagging behind.
I almost believed but the story is quite common. Also the platform isnt that credible for blogs and social news. Maybe if its a coindesk or forbes featured post article I might believe a little. Its true that kids now are lucky since they can earn a lot on this market with the tech skills and tools that can be used today. Their lucky to get exposed at their early age.
643  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why the transaction fee hike on ORDI? on: December 23, 2023, 01:49:32 PM
It is because Ordi is a BTC20 token. BRC20 tokens are making use of bitcoin blockchain and use bitcoin for transaction fee. They are also responsible for mempool congestion that makes bitcoin fee high.

But in addition, it is good to know that exchanges charges than what the mempool state is. Exchanges charge both the network fee and their own exchange fee which is usually very high.
Yeah but still feels like there must be a solution to this as bitcoin network is highly congested due to this. Imagine a transaction that will arrived few weeks after thats bad.

I think ORDI should migrate somewhere cause I think the bitcoin network cant handle such loads of transactions including those brc20 that has been traded on the market.
644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna Classic and Do Kwon Extradition - Check the FTX Token on: December 23, 2023, 03:07:52 AM
Yes it did happened however would you risk off your funds on a decision for this trial? Or results of the court. I wont mind investing on new venture or project rather than betting on a risky gamble as this. Maybe can for a little fund but for a serious trader or investor its quite the opposite since we knew Do Kwon hurt a lot of people in the past by their Luna crush.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos stakers environment airdrop checker on: December 22, 2023, 02:39:41 PM
Have you tried the airdrops you are talking about? Is it really necessary to install Leap Cosmos on the metamask? Won't our metamask addresses be dangerous when we install them in our metamask?
I am not using metamask for the leap, I have my own cosmos wallet pre imported there on leap plus you can check your wallet even without connecting it so wheres the risk there? Its like a checker mate.

I was a little hesitant to be honest, but I hope you taught the whole tutorial so that it will not be difficult for those who can read it, which you have shared here in this section as well. it seems gave me a little bit confusion to me anyhow.
I dont think its need tutorial for simple copy and paste activity. The site that I attached theres an address filled blank there, copy your suspected wallet that has potential airdrop it will tell you if you are eligible or not.
646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos stakers environment airdrop checker on: December 22, 2023, 09:32:11 AM
I already know about it, just to suggest to you that if we have a complete list of airdrop checker platforms, it would be very helpful to the people on this forum. I'm not sure other networks have platforms available for checking airdrops, as far as I know it only exists on the Ethereum and Cosmos.
Oh I see. I think only these two since these two are the most ecosystem that have been doing airdrops. Even on some L2, can use the checking on eth platform too since its a network difference. Not sure though if solana got a checker since mostly only few airdrops there aside from shitcoins.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will the transaction fee will high if I send small amount under $50 on: December 22, 2023, 03:48:58 AM
Yes, Currently, if you want to do any transaction, you will have to pay high fees and it will take a long time to complete the transaction, which is very frustrating. There are already many transactions pending which are not completed yet, There are many transactions which are still pending for a week or more. Each transaction now incurs higher fees than before.
Thats right, I even planning to withdraw but abortef it cause the fees Im gonna spend is way more than enough for a food budget a week. Damn, I dont know why its clogged so much except with the ordinals activity. I guess all we can do is hold our bitcoin for now and wait for these fees to die calm and die down.
648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will you use platforms offering AI help for crypto trading in 2024? on: December 22, 2023, 02:12:33 AM
Hi guys! Happy holidays! Just wanted to know if you're planning on using AI bots and such technologies to boost your crypto profits in 2024. And now that I'm talking about this, I'm curious if you've already started to use AI for taking trades.
Not really but if theres a consistent help from an AI why not. Well Ive been using Ai for some of my query on my task and stuff but definitely not on trading. If AI can work ot efficiently helps me win a trade then why not. Im not sure if there are who uses it already but Id bet a lot or relying already there.
649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin portfolio on: December 22, 2023, 01:36:34 AM
Kaspa
ICP
Link
Avax
HBAR

Any others people would suggest?
Nice pick especially on avax. But I can add some good shit to hold like cosmos coins like osmo, inj and atom. These coins are seriously hot right now due to upcoming airdrops of new projects but you can also grab some tia but not advisable due to very high price now which is literally $2 only before.
650  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scroll NFT mint is Live claim yours on: December 21, 2023, 09:35:04 PM
We may see the good price of this nft in future if some rumour created for this nft in the future. Anyone know how much funding Scroll project still raised so far?
I think they raised $80m from different VCs lead by Polycap VC and others known angel investors. Frankly not sure what would be the price of this nft as there are lots of nfts claimors. Can this be able to sell? cause from what I read its a soulbound token and has a unique identification per user but able to see this on some nft marketplace.
651  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: A piece of advise to everyone. on: December 21, 2023, 08:03:35 PM
I will advise my fellow beginners to respect some correction and not make arguments just to prove yourself knowledged. instead of arguing you can just learn without quoting them back and blabbing rubbish. even till now some senior colleagues are still arguing with themselves because they feel they have the knowledge which someone is try to inculcate in them.

Don't make a fool of yourself trying to prove a point for some nonsense reputation that nobody gives a fuck about.

Just a friendly advise..
Well if a nebwie got a point and a senior one argue with it some might butt in to check whether which one is correct and until one is proven right or wrong then thats the end of discussion. Anyone should accept it if his thoughts are corrected whether a beginner or an old member here. No one is perfect enough to excel at all topics unless youre a genius who dont make mistake at all.
652  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cosmos stakers environment airdrop checker on: December 21, 2023, 07:28:47 PM
Cool mate! and thanks for sharing this information, I was reminded of several potential airdrops on the Ethereum network that I should have gotten, but due to the lack of information given to me at that time I had to miss it Sad.

Maybe if we had a complete list of platforms to check airdrops from various networks, it would really help the community as a whole.
Well i can give you a platform for eth wallets to check your airdrop from time to time its called trustalab platform. You could also check in there if you got soem previous airdrops.

Cosmos chain is not looking best as many projects already announced that they will give airdrop to Inj, cosmos token stakers. Injection price pumped dramatically and big whales start accumulation in big volume. My wallet is not eligible for any airdrop  Cheesy
Well that means you can still staked. Its always good to have a stake to be eligible maybe its not yet too late mate. I am also doing on other L2 besides cosmos at all.

What are the airdrops on the ecosystem is worth a try especially those aren't on Testnet but on mainnet to provide liquidity. I'll appreciate the response/s.
Try to check upcoming airdrops tab. Maybe from there check their socials if there are some hints of airdrops. Usually this is unannounced and we might not know if they will do or conduct airdrop unless they specified something on their socials.
653  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How diverse is your crypto portfolio? on: December 21, 2023, 09:24:16 AM
Hi guys!
Just wanted to know how many cryptocurrencies you're invested in? And with what percentage of your portfolio (No need to mention the amounts involved, if you don't want to). Just want to get a general sense of how everyone's diversifying their crypto assets.
Me Ive got a lot since its better to put your money on different basket. Though I am keen on investing on too many since not all can be monitor at all. Probably in quantity close to 10 to 15 altcoins. I have big holdings and some minor holdings and some are used for airdrop purposes atom, osmo and injective.
654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When do you take out your investment when in profit? on: December 21, 2023, 03:16:38 AM
My best investment so far has been Myria - I got lucky with this one and bought pretty much at the bottom a few months ago and I took my investment out last week once it did a 10x so I am now holding a bag of Myria with no risk.

I have other altcoins I am holding that I am up 3 or 4x on but have not taken profit yet but thinking of doing so , just take my investment out then I am holding more with no risk.

What does everyone else do when it comes to altcoins?
Well for me I am investing on new projects and taken out capital and of course have a moon bag too just in case that token pumped well. Also invest on whats hot but not in the case that I am fomo hard. Sometimes being greedy isnt too good and holding too much as well bad either. We should have a goal or target when to profit and be contended with it.
655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana Leapfrogs XRP as Fifth-Largest Crypto on: December 21, 2023, 01:24:25 AM
It seems solana really did take off. I hope that other L2 move forward too as everyone keeps on solana ecosystem due to airdrops and meme coins. One thing that boost too is due to their saga phone which has been release and has more expensive now to its original price due to airdrops alert and giveaeay associated with it.
656  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Confirms Extensive Collaboration With DOJ, FBI and Secret Service on: December 20, 2023, 03:17:23 PM
Who would have thought, no?

I find it concerning how some people transfer significant amounts of money through Stable Coins and they do not even know their funds can be frozen.
Well they probably traders who eanted to use usdt to trade other altcoins on exchange. Apparently the fact that they traded it means they are aware of it. No big guys who has a lot of stablecoin isnt aware about the news here about stablecoin and if chances that they dont really know it is quite near to impossible. They are probably risking it seeing that usdt can work well on their end.
657  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cosmos stakers environment airdrop checker on: December 20, 2023, 02:16:46 PM
Hello guys I stumbled upon this platform on twitter where you could check instantly if you have some free airdrop if you are a staker on cosmos ecosystem like atom, injective, osmosis, celestia and many more.

Just input your address here and click check eligibility:

https://cosmos.leapwallet.io/explore/airdrops

Now you dont need to worry if you missed the announcement or airdrop details.
658  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] BestChange Signature Campaign | Sr Member+ on: December 20, 2023, 12:08:44 PM
Season's greeting, everyone!
Merry, merry time of the year!
Thank you so much BestChange and Happy holidays too. Enjoy your Christmas fest.

The thing is that the previous four transactions have not been confirmed yet, which is why we have increased the commission fee so that to pay for the previous transactions along with this one.

We may switch to USDT TRC20 as an option, but it will not be very convenient for us.

Cheers!
I think only 2 weeks of transaction arent confirmed yet including this recent transaction manager not 4, as Ive checked it.

Thats also another option but since its gonna be uncovenient on your part you can also reconsider or think first but the fees on trc20 usdt is surely not as expensive as this one happening now on btc.

Its up to you manager, we will support whatever decisiin you may come up. But in my opinion not bad too used that if that means you can save gas fee just to send rewards. Not sure what others might think about this but maybe some will also agree with it.

Maybe for the meantime? While this btc fee hike is still a problem now.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Frame Governnance Airdrop on: December 20, 2023, 11:54:06 AM
Seems I didn't qualify for claiming frame airdrop because not participants ever swap or trade NFTs with frame platform, I think good potential for user are qualifying with this airdrop because they spent much fees for trade NFTs there exactly with Ethereum network platform have many airdrop worth with higher values.
Hey I didnt trade nft on frame platform. I didnt even aware of the frame platform if its already been up or working. I just saw this on twitter being posted and try to check if I am eligible sincr I traded nft before. Yes eth nft trading is actually expensive so an airdrop isba must to compensate with the gas fee used.
660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unstable prices of cryptocurrency on: December 20, 2023, 02:57:28 AM
So my question is that can't it be possible for someone to buy bitcoins and hodl it at a specific price such that even if the price dips it won't affect the Bitcoins you have hodl in your wallet?
What I dont think thats even possible. You mean to say to stuck at the price of purchase? Its a volatile asset and it will tend to go up and down in the long run. If you want something that dont move then buy stablecoin usdt or udsc. This might change in value but not really moving far from the price. Probably you are confuse about it. When you bought at 43k and it go down, you expect it to go up only and wont touch your entry and just sell at high? This isnt gonna make sense. Learn how crypto works best first mate before purchasing a lot of different asset.
