641  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin Still A P2P Electronic Cash System ?. on: October 14, 2023, 09:49:13 PM
If I am not mistaken, then you are into Bitcoin for making money; it doesn't matter what way you choose. But it's become the general goal of crypto investors. We just don't forget about the real goal of p2p electronic money, but a major part of the Bitcoin community doesn't know about the primary goal of Bitcoin. They just consider Bitcoin an investment opportunity. If you ask me, I will say yes as well. I am not here to make just a P2P transaction. I am here to make money. However, the theme became like this because of a lack of knowledge. When we introduce Bitcoin to someone, we just brief them on Bitcoin as an investment opportunity. We don't try to explain how Bitcoin was created or why.
642  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Seedphrase security - Pros and Cons of offline storage on: October 14, 2023, 09:42:10 PM
I would never advise using any kind of storage to save your wallet seed phrase there. Rather, I will advise maintaining your notebook so that you can have all your wallet credentials. For an important wallet like Bitcoin, just make two copies. Secure it somewhere between two places. So even if you destroy one, the other one will help to restore your wallet. There will always be a hard procedure to secure your wallet seed phrase. We have to handle this in a smart way. I am following this, and this is what I believe is the safest way. But you have to choose the right place to secure your credentials.
643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SEC does not plan to appeal court decision on Grayscale bitcoin ETF on: October 14, 2023, 09:32:36 PM
There is something to expect, since the SEC doesn't want to appeal against the Grayscale Bitcoin ETF application, which means there is a high possibility of approval. So I will drive to approve more Bitcoin ETF approvals. But I don't think it would help to push for the next bull run. It's all about hype and halving the upcoming So both can impact the Bitcoin chart together. Everyone assumes next year will be a bull year. This year was a stable one, to be honest. We haven't seen any significant volatility this year. We have to wait more than two months to see the impact.
644  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ferrari introduced BTC payment option for their cars on: October 14, 2023, 09:25:31 PM
I became aware of this news from Cointelegraph today. I was happy to see that news since it would create a positive impact on the cryptocurrency market. But seems the market hasn't reacted to this news. Though I hadn't been expecting a big pump, at least there should be a positive movement. So finally, it regrets me. However, companies like Ferrari accepting cryptocurrency is something big for us. We may see some results in the future when a few more big news stories come up. It's a strong Bitcoin adaptation, and more bars would be interested in Bitcoin payments. There are a lot of crypto millionaires who might want to buy a car through cryptocurrency.
645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If only property I have is bitcoin on: October 14, 2023, 09:14:17 PM
In other words, you have to trust anyone in your family. Otherwise, your bitcoin will be burned since anyone can't access it. In this situation, you may teach someone from your family about Bitcoin and how to use it. Write your seed phrase in a notebook that can be discovered after you pass away. But till you're alive, just secure it under your control. I just write about what I have been doing. I wrote everything in a notebook and secured it under me. I'm trying to teach my brother about Bitcoin and crypto. So if something happens, my funds could be recovered.
646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you ever feel tired of waiting? on: October 12, 2023, 10:34:17 PM
I sometimes felt tired, to be honest. I sometimes lost my patience and sold myself emotionally. But not now; I have improved my knowledge and experience day by day. Now I invest only what I can afford to hold for longer. So I shouldn't sell at any point. It's true that Bitcoin has become stable this year compared to any other year. And this is not bad for us who aren't pro traders. We can trade easily and make some profits. High volatility always means high risk.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's first tweet since 2018? on: October 12, 2023, 10:08:05 PM
This account owner won't be Satoshi at all. Because Satoshi always tried to hide himself, he won't reveal himself to Elon. Or who knows if Elon himself is Satoshi? LOL, kidding. I don't believe anyone on social media claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto. It seems luckily that Twitter users got the Satoshi username. And the Twitter blue badge is nothing at all. Anyone can buy it; it doesn't need to be a real person. They just need a phone number to verify humans. So I'm not going to waste time researching it.
648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's the Future of Bitcoin without the Inventor? on: October 12, 2023, 09:52:41 PM
Though we don't want to lose the Bitcoin creator, everyone has to leave one day. But his disappearances aren't actually related to Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin has been designed in such a way that anyone can run the blockchain, It's not centralised with any authority, like digital fiat. So any particular operator isn't required to run the Bitcoin network. It's because of decentralisation, not only for open sources. Because open source helps you read codes, copy, clone, and run your own way. But anything can't be modified on an existing blockchain. So even though there is no Bitcoin guardian, we shouldn't worry anyway.
649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can change lives on: October 08, 2023, 09:30:22 PM
We know everything actually, Bitcoin could change lives. But there are a few facts that affect us when we invest in Bitcoin. It's because fear always works on our minds. When Bitcoin starts dumping, most of us dare to buy. We become afraid it may dump more, and we may lose. I am pretty sure that for this reason, a lot of individuals are missing Bitcoin. Even I move my bid down when I see a sudden dump, and that's how I fail to buy. It's just that I become afraid when I see a dump, so I move on. So we have to learn a lot and have patience. Otherwise, Bitcoin won't change our lives.
650  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Always ask questions, it doesn't make you a fool. on: October 07, 2023, 10:18:26 PM
Make it easier. You can use the forum search button when you need to know something. That will show you some relayed topics and replies. If you can't find your desired answers, then you may create a thread. Nevermind if some people criticise you; a few members will answer you. Don't take criticism seriously; otherwise, you can't learn. Just ignore negative comments and move forward.
651  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Your Crypto Safety Net: Reliable Research for Worry-Free Investments on: October 07, 2023, 10:11:00 PM
I don't think it's necessary to use any third-party website to check how secure a project is. Because it can show you data that is available to the public. It can't be sure whether the project will scam or rug-pull. There aren't any such tools to show scam projects or legit projects. They would make the data available online. So any user could check it themselves manually and decide if it's secure to invest. Any investment in a new project is highly risky. Because 99% of projects are dead after a few days,
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoin journey has started again on: October 07, 2023, 10:04:30 PM
It doesn't matter how much you bought; the fact is, you are holding Bitcoin. Don't feel yourself small, because you are part of a big community called the Bitcoin community. You said true; without acquiring Bitcoin, you can't gain proper knowledge. I assume you bought through Binance P2P and will be discouraged from storing your bitcoin there. Just use a non-custodial wallet like Electrum to secure your funds. That's the better way to avoid unwanted incidents.
653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I want to fulfill my mother's dream of building a house with Bitcoin. on: October 07, 2023, 09:21:47 PM
First of all, you have to work hard to fulfil your dream. Because it's not a night dream; it's a dream that you have to fulfil by yourself. You have to earn money for that somehow. But yes, Bitcoin could support you on your way. You have to find the sources from which you may make money from Bitcoin. Just learn more, because trading doesn't mean you will always be a winner. Try to gather more knowledge about trading and how to earn as well. Holding is another option if you have sufficient funds. I strongly believe you can achieve what you want, but the condition is that you work hard in a proper way.
654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Governments Ban Cryptocurrency {Bitcoin} on: October 07, 2023, 09:04:32 PM
The government will never allow Bitcoin to rule above their currency. Otherwise, they will lose control of the financial ecosystem. That's the main reason why the government doesn't want to adapt Bitcoin. It's true that even a lot of countries don't know Bitcoin very well. But those who are well aware of Bitcoin are worried about the decentralised power of Bitcoin. But I think Bitcoin should be usable for everyone. Because even the government wants to ban it officially, but they can't prevent people from using it.
655  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Do You Guys Think About This Simple Analogy? Anything to Add or Remove? on: October 06, 2023, 09:34:04 PM
I don't feel it's appropriate to compare the Internet and Bitcoin. The purposes of these two are totally different. For internet, they don't need to invest anything except buying an internet bundle. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency in which you have to invest. This isn't the right choice to explain to a beginner. Also, this won't help you adapt to Bitcoin at the same time. You may learn about Bitcoin history from the beginning. So it will help them better understand. Then they might become interested in that.
656  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig "Faketoshi" Wright saga continues. His team turns against him. on: October 06, 2023, 09:28:06 PM
This isn't shocking news to me since I never believed him. He proved himself as Faketoshi numerous times. He just tried to be a famous and public figure by claiming to be a Bitcoin creator. It's just one more time he proves to be Faketoshi. He is kind of mental since he constantly claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto. I don't want to waste my time reading his history.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs the government on: October 06, 2023, 09:07:30 PM
Banning Bitcoin won't change the direction of Bitcoin. The government just doesn't like to adapt Bitcoin officially because they don't want to lose control of the economy. Don't expect any government to announce Bitcoin as the national currency. Centralised governments won't adapt to decentralised currencies where they have their own fiat. So a war will exist between the government and Bitcoin. Even many developed countries allow people to use Bitcoin, but they really don't like to adapt it. Any country won't have double currency. So the government will always oppose it. El Salvador adapts Bitcoin as legal tender, but I don't think it does help them a lot. Rather, they are forcing citizens to use Bitcoin. So other governments are monitoring them as well, but still no one is in. There are many factors; if everything becomes decentralised, then the system will collapse.
658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is this fascination with claiming to be Satoshi Nakamoto? on: October 06, 2023, 08:11:36 PM
No, I haven't taken anyone seriously who claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto. The fact is, everyone who claims to be Satoshi Nakamoto just wants to be popular. Because they know it very well, they can't provide valid evidence to prove themselves. Also, they are aware of the risk associated with being a real Satoshi Nakamoto. So they falsely claim to be the creators of Bitcoin and become public figures. Till now, whoever claimed to be Satoshi Nakamoto went wrong. They failed to provide the necessary documentation. I will say just ignore any claim to be a Bitcoin cretaor. We really don't need to discover Satoshi Nakamoto. It would have a negative impact on the crypto industry, and most probably that's the reason why Satoshi Nakamoto hid himself forever.
659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hardwork pays not luck! on: October 05, 2023, 09:59:55 PM
When you had bounties, that was a golden time. But for now, I don't think Bounty would give something big. It has become a spam campaign lately. You can still earn bounties from trading. But for trading you should learn a lot and spend time to analyse. Otherwise, you may keep losing your earned money. So yes, I believe hard work would give you a good return. You can keep trying to change your luck by being hardworking.
660  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The fear of investment on: October 05, 2023, 09:50:30 PM
Due to scammers, the crypto world has become hell. It's hard to trust someone in the crypto world. A lot of people are deceived through crypto investment. Still, scammers are deceiving us through various means, which creates a negative impact on crypto. That's the reason a fear always works when someone thinks to invest in crypto. A lot of people think any kind of online investment is a scam. Even if you explain Bitcoin to them, they will continue to believe the same thing. Because their brains only know online investment is a scam. However, we have to prevent scams and should explain Bitcoin. It is most important to explain to someone how Bitcoin works and that it is not an investment scheme. It's like an asset whose value would increase.
