Its 7 hours before MP is up again according to their twitter page

Well that should be interesting, whether to add or not..
Regards

Unless the network is up, there will be no way to get XCR over to MP to sell.  MP may fill up with BUY orders, but there will be no sell orders until we have the network online.

I know that. so you're saying you won't meet the MP deadline?

I, myself, have no control over that.

Ahh thought you knew something I didn't  Cheesy

I do, but there is a protocol here to be followed.  GreXX is the PR guy.  Unfortunatly, he is incommunicato during normal work hours due to his Air Force service.  Electronic devices are prohibited where he works due to their easily traced locations, risk of compromise by outsiders, and their potential use as recorders of classified information (as in Bradley Manning/WikiLeaks).

I try to maintain communication and answer qestions from the public while he is offline, and the other devs may be getting their well earned 3- 4 hours of daily sleep in Russia.

Nice advice!
But isnt it better to make network completely decetralized? Why spend any money to make centralized Crypti network?

I think that forging-rewarding somehow attracts people and can help to make use of Crypti go viral. Esspecially because you dont need some high-end computer just a simple laptop.

Mal is proposing a system that starts out as centralized, but migrates to a decentralized system once merchants are signed up and join the network.

The XCR community has some really talented bloggers.

im going to dump 1mil cryptis now. brace yourselves!trolling is fun when I needed more cheap cryptos.

You gave away your real intent when you said you needed more cheap cryptos.............

You are not dumping, you are trying to get others to dump.  I bet you are the one that just put in BUY orders on Bter at 960 to 910 sats.

A lot of BUY orders just now being set on Bter in the 900s, but the only sales were BUYS at 1290.  On Cryptsy, the proces are still 1621/1433.

No dump happened.

He was just trying to set off a panic dump so he could buy in cheaper....... In some countries, that can get you killed.

I would never buy a digital currency from any Russian whatsoever, as a people they do not culturally respect democracy or the free market and Crypti is evident of that.  Same Russia that is banning all digital currencies in 2015 because they need to control everything.

So we have now established that you are not an investor in Crypti, just a bigot with a hatred of all things Russian.

Your creditability is then ZERO in this blog.

Go FUD somewhere else, bigot

These are the facts

Crypti probably started by Milderprod (NXTer) hiding behind sockpuppet developer account
Crypti started in Moscow (in a country that is banning cryptos in 2015 and Russia is where a lot of scams come from)
Crypti announced in June (while NEM announced in January and NODE in like February or March)
Crypti organized big IPO (750 BTC plus additional BTC post-launch that was spent on this)
Crypti steals ideas and concepts from NXT, NEM and NODE.
Crypti released bugged piece of $hit and runs off with all the IPO monies.

Who is surprised?  Not me.  Obvious scam from the beginning.

Time to cut your losses and move those funds back into NXT, NEM or NODE.

NODE is based in Ukraine but Ukraine =/= Russia.  BTC is already on 5000 bank terminals in Ukraine (how many terminals is BTC on in Russia?  0 as in zero).

Ukraine for many centuries was a land of democracy and freedom.  Hetmanate was a democratic republican state with a free market before the United States even existed.  How did it end?  Obvious - Russia invaded them just like Russia later invaded everybody else and imposed tyranny.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cossack_Hetmanate
(1649–1764)

OIC........ When WWI ended and the Ottoman Empire folded, the Ukraine was left an independent state, which was then taken over by Pavlo Skoropadskyi, Hetman of Ukraine, a dictator.  He was overthrown 9 months later by the Bolsheviks.

Thus, proof positive that Crypti is a scam! ! ! ! ! !  GET A LIFE

I know who all the devs are, and have pics of them.  SHow me a pic of "Milderprod" and we can compare.

Also when calling out the developers here it is ironic that you indirectly also call Satoshi, the creator of the very forum you're writing on and the BTC you claim to support - incompetent.  Grin

You must have your coins confused.  I dont see anywhere where Satoshi was called incompetent in this blog.  Explain.

bter withdraw dissabled, why?
Coin does not work afaik. Network was disabled, because there are many forks.  Sad

The forks were due to the short 60 second block timing, and that the node was communicating with every other node in that minute. This worked well with 50 nodes on testnet, but did not work when scaled up.  The Proof of Time algo was a great idea, to reward loyal forgers, but it is a bottleneck at present.

I was running a test of the windows wallet, and my computer showed over 200 TCP connections to nodes on port 6040, which were being refreshed constantly.  It also slowed my internet connection down for browsing.

I cant give you an exact time for the network to be up again, but I will tell you when we start testing the windows node/wallet.
So POT will canceled at all?

The temp fix will not be pinging all nodes every minute to find the oldest.  How a node is selected has not been revealed to me.  This will just be a temporary fix.  As with all things computer, it works until it doesnt, and things dont always scale up.

Wulf,

You put a lot of time and energy into that last post........ so much energy and time that you did not do anything else meanwhile?  Well, that is what is happening internally with the devs.  There is much going on, and they are too busy to blog here.

There is lots of communication going on internally.  Most of the devs are in Central Asia, where the time is 12 hours different from yours, so dont expect immediate answers at noon your time.

Believe me when I say they are hard at work on it...... If you have been on this blog since the beginning, you will know that I was a very big critic of this project.  I do see lots of potential here, so I invested.

The devs made a big mistake when they limited the IPO to 750BTC.  Other IPOs have generated 2000BTC and more.  That low limit has made the coin price higher (good for you), but limited the funds for future development.  If the devs had let the IPO run for the  full 30 days, or even a week longer, they would be sitting on a stash of thousands of BTC that would allow them to fill an office with programmers.  That did not happen, as they listened to and followed the opinion of the community.

The current price of BTC is not helping as well.

I can assure you that we have been hard at work on the problem.  The Proof of Time algo is new territory for a cryptocoin.  The one minute block time makes it many times more complicated.

With a 5 or 10 minute block time, there would be enough time for all the nodes to be pinged and one selected for forging, but this would cause a delay in transaction time.  Merchants will not stand for a 5 minute confirmation time.  It is important for Crypti to maintain the 60 second block time.

As a TEMPORARY measure, to get the network up, the PoT will be modified until a permanent fix can be programmed.

As for the windows wallet..... it was in testing for several days...... I was testing it myself.  As stated earlier, there was a problem with some nodes forging lots of blocks, and others not forging any.  There was also a problem with constant forking.   This is all related to the PoT issue.

We are testing the latest fix now on testnet.  Things are progressing.  Progress is being made.

Faucets offer satoshi FOR NO COST.  Just a click or two.  It isnt a way to get rich, but it is still SOMETHING FOR NOTHING.

Something for nothing is way more than 100% short term profit.  I could make as much as 250,000 sats a day, but I have a life.

Yep yep... and not saying anyone shouldn't use faucets if they don't want to.

Just saying that if you want something for nothing (besides time), go to mturk, take a survey, or do some of their simple click tasks, and you'll get more much more profit than the btc faucets will give out. Assuming it still exists. I did it one year for some spare xmas money, but that was years ago.

how much u make ?

I surf faucets while doing other things, and I get about 20,000 sats an hour.  I can get as much as 40,000 if I hitit hard, but it can be boring.  My best day I earned .6 BTC.  Some sites pay random amounts.  There are several that determine your earnings with a hash..... max payouts of .5BTC on one, 1,500,000 sats on another.

This isnt a way to get rich, but it pays better than watching TV.  ANd you can do it while watching TV.

BTC faucets offer quick and riskless 100%+ gains..  See link below for Land of Bitcoin.  I cruise faucets and make about 20000 satoshi an hour.

I tried that when I first started in crypto ... it's sort of a very painful way to earn btc crumbs, to be honest.

You are probably better off just looking for arbitrage trades between exchanges. Or if Amazon still does it, just do mturk for an hour, and then use that money to buy btc. Boring and repetitive, and paying 3rd world wages ... but it's a lot more than 20K sats/hour.

Faucets offer satoshi FOR NO COST.  Just a click or two.  It isnt a way to get rich, but it is still SOMETHING FOR NOTHING.

hmm teach me how make faucet pls, recesion hit hard here..

Just click on the link below.  You will need a BTC address.

For maximum earnings, go to all the sites.  If your time is more limited, unfollow the sites that pay less than 100 satoshi per visit.
