recent copy of the chain is here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwpY07DfpjCBTnhSVF82djR3ZFUthis is a copy of the chain for direct copying to yr datadirectory, NOT a bootstrap. simple version -- backup your bumbacoin2 wallet/data, download copy of bumbasnap zip, unzip, copy contents into your datadirectory, restart the wallet-qt. Heya, is there a nunux 64 compiled somewhere ? i mean for Ubuntu 16.04 64bit or i have to find/test a tutorial (if that <- any clue ?) Thanks. i havent tried ubuntu 16 but i think linenoise has done so it seems possible. i generally use 14 because some coin codebases are not ready for 16. do you want a qt or daemon? i might give it a try later to see ..

Thanks just updated my wallet and synched, looking good for now.
PS: my stake wallet forked at the "end of year / new year" then i stopped it and deleted the folder, today i just get it synched, since my wallet have around 900 mature transactions they will try stake , perhaps network speed will have some fluctuations at the begining of there stake but will back normal after that
great stuff. let us know how you go i'm working on uploading a copy of the chain but made a noob mistake and need to start again :p unfortunately my net is painful for uploading > 700 mb files .lol

we are currently in reality testing new code base seems to work so far if you wish to try the new v1100 code see below. should be directly compatible with existing datadirectory so it should be just a matter of downloading and starting. HOWEVER for safety, back up your data first, minimal data to back up would be your wallet.dat found in your datadirectory, maximal data to back up would be you entire datadirectory. copy them somewhere, keep them safe. v1100 https://github.com/bumbacoin/bumbacoin2-testand win32 qt + ubuntu daemon https://github.com/bumbacoin/bumbacoin2-test/releases/tag/v1.1.0.0. also a recent copy of the chain is here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwpY07DfpjCBTnhSVF82djR3ZFUthis is a copy of the chain for direct copying to yr datadirectory, NOT a bootstrap. simple version -- backup your bumbacoin2 wallet/data, download copy of bumbasnap zip, unzip, copy contents into your datadirectory, restart the wallet-qt. . as a reminder, upon creation, the wallet will create a keypool of 100 addresses to use, if you use more than those 100 addresses, any earlier back up of your wallet will be incomplete as it will not include newly generated addresses.

Many thanks for all the help and advice, it really is much appreciated. However I don't get very far, running Sierra 10.12.1 -bash: $: command not found
Maybe the next mac wallet will function better for me as the last one did. Have a great year!
oops, not meant to enter the $ (symbolically represents command line entry) it says but you enter i've removed all the $ from commands to enter in my earlier post, makes it easy to copy/paste.

renamed it to b3-coin.conf and I'm only connected to these :
188.68.52.172:5647 85.214.68.75:5647
any idea why? does it even matter ?
could try turning UPNP on ? preferences or options /network

Address from the old chain are not in the snapshot file above. Copied the wallet over and nothing showed up there either.
For example, SadfeVszcowJrfP5sPm5zv61jeNsHAAVEi had >3000 B3.
Dev - need some help here. Old chain addresses with balances:
SadfeVszcowJrfP5sPm5zv61jeNsHAAVEi 3398 SbSAPro2U7wRUtEcB7oEyxnHURbuJsLcGN 318 STDxZduj8PoL1VeyDuGe9dgYbLTJBBvoRi 194 SXJp2HZ42gsoHvjTESTgSY2KJzid8FqkRH 190 SSuju83Tdz2vHHqZ6uWn5eA76TFgbjfQnr 129 SdBqeyLJepU6hYsSRtEgWZZX7B2HxQ8V5E 35
none of those address appear in this list of addresses included here https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/21000833/B3/Snaphot.txt

the only change to my git is disconnecting older clients, I made it to make syncing from 0 easier. impresses me no end how many old clients there are :p
i got the impression earlier that no-one has access to the EBK1000 repository

??
You can stake with 10 B3 a static POS reward from 1 B3. I think that is better than POW. POW is ended && is offline ...that is true Does this mean that if I have up to 10B3 in my wallet, that my minimum stake reward will be 1B3 when my coins mature? Yes that is possible 😃 1 + tiny % as well

@bumbacoin any issue??
I think that he wanted to mine more coins, but the POW has ended. no. getinfo will continue to output a value for PoW difficulty, i always find this a tad unhelpful currently getmininginfo puts this out "difficulty" : { "proof-of-work" : 199.54042675, "proof-of-stake" : 0.00030787, "search-interval" : 1 }, "blockvalue" : 0, "netmhashps" : 0.00000000, "netstakeweight" : 2539.48097842,
the difficulty output could be changed to 0 , similarly to netmhashps or something more helpful , lol, like the suggestions above.
