641  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 24, 2023, 11:16:42 AM
A person decides to get insurance if he thinks that his future financial condition will not be very good and he will not be able to afford his medical expenses if he falls ill. Insurance is usually of several categories, some are medical insurance, some are accident insurance and some are life insurance. Life insurance is likely to be such that if the person insuring the life insurance dies before the child reaches the age of majority, the insurance company will pay a larger amount to the child, and if the person dies after the child reaches adulthood, the amount The company will return the money deposited in the company to his family. I don't think insurance is that important to me in my current context but if I ever think I should have insurance I will consider it.
If you are into business, you should take investment insurance. But if we talk about our personal insurance, health, and life insurance is our choice. All of us are encouraged to get those things just for the sake that we are secure once illnesses or death come. Maybe some people don't see it as important but for me, and those who think about the future will certainly take any of those insurances.
Well, maybe you're not but you can find it very important someday. In fact, rich people do this because it is not just solely for themselves but for the entire family as the benefactor of the said insurance.
642  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I will pass KYC later is a bad idea on: November 24, 2023, 07:01:49 AM
There are some gambling sites which is not putting KYC as obligation for its users. But there have been many people were trying to play with high bet but they were unwilling to complete the KYC verification where KYC has been ordered by most of the regulators to prevent money laundering
there are for sure and i experience such websites too. The problem is, they allow you to withdraw till a limited amount. specially its okey if amount is small but when you will try to withdraw a healthy/fair amount, then authority asking for kyc as well as additional documents in some cases. Kyc won't be asked for those player whom losses a lot money but suddenly win a fair amount. But if a person continuously win big amounts, such website make kyc hard for those users. This kind of cheap trick. If they have to follow government order to prevent money laundering, then they should clearly mention about kyc process in their website
And that site assumes that those who win big are cheaters and those who withdraw huge amounts are fraud and money launderers which freezes their transaction if KYC is not made. This site should never exist because that was illegal and at the same time, they don't let someone get cash from them rather than they are the ones who milk us gamblers. I don't think they follow the guidelines about money laundering as their rules are supposedly clear to everyone that KYC is necessary for all transactions or upon registration, not only when we withdraw.
643  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Telegram Casinos good or bad? on: November 24, 2023, 04:31:20 AM
I don't know if it's good or bad since I don't use it at all. But from what I know, on Telegram there are many cases of fraud and scammers who can create casino projects like that and when random people play at these casinos they might get cheated. If asked, do I want to play on Telegram Casino or not, I'm not interested at all, because I think playing on that website is better and the reputation of the casino platform I play on is good so I can play without worrying about being scammed.
Scam and fraud --these are the things that we need to consider which I don't think it was a good idea or a recommended place to gamble. For me, I'd rather use casinos that already established reputations and can be trusted.

It was not worth trying. Though I can afford to lose but it was not in the way of a scam. Besides, we have a lot of casino and gambling platforms available, so why we should use the platform that has been known to do such a thing (scam)?
644  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you need to know about trading on: November 23, 2023, 09:52:11 PM
That is the reality in trading but there is nothing wrong with thinking positively despite the struggling situation of the market and losses as we can't change the nature of trading. Losses seem normal and I was certain that every trader knew it before they started. That is why every trader must know how to control their emotions, every trader must know how to accept reality and think what they can do to avoid big losses. Perhaps, it was a given scenario already and the only thing we can do is to deal with it in the right way.
645  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: coin memes don't have a project? Is it worth buying for the long term? on: November 23, 2023, 12:55:18 PM
As far as I know, meme coin are just for fun and don't have a clear project.
Dogecoin is the first meme coin that I know, in 2021 Elon Musk supports the use of Dogecoin, since then the popularity of meme coin has peaked, many new meme coin have emerged such as
- Shiba inu
- floki
- Baby doge coin
- Pepe
and many more.
Even though there is no clear project, many people are still interested in meme coin because they have increased by thousands of%.
Are meme coin worth buying in the long term?
What is your reason for buying meme coin?
Those people who buy meme coins are those people who are party joiners. Yeah, I'd say this because during the hype of meme coins like Pepe, a lot of investors got the desire to invest but look, they're going after the pump and selling them. It is not worth buying but people have taken advantage of the situation. Perhaps, not a wrong move but if we used to buy them and hold ---that was a big mistake. These no-use case projects like meme coins are not able to survive nor it stay long, they will go slowly as nobody cares about them.
646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? on: November 23, 2023, 12:17:56 PM
Has anyone been able to make steady income with gambling ? If yes, what had been your strategy ? Do you diversify to multiple games in order to ensure that end result is always profit ?

I was not totally sure because one of my friends got into gambling and somehow changed his living as well, and all of it came from gambling.
Maybe, there are just a few of them while the majority has been losing, yet gambling our experience couldn't be easily to forget. With this ratio, it is not good to think and rely on our future in gambling unless you own them. Perhaps, it was admittable that gambling is not considered as a good source of income which I believe was a big mistake from hoping that in this way we make our life better, maybe just pleasing ourselves and having fun that seems right.
647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you foresee crypto payments going mainstream soon? Why or why not? on: November 23, 2023, 09:33:36 AM
Honestly, I'd never see it. Why? With instability behavior of the market price and its transaction fees and time of confirmation, these are the factors that make some business owners not see it was a good idea. They'd prefer to use fiat for fast transactions and no risk of losing any amount. In fact, many have tried already and it was not successfully gaining support from the community knowing that we're still not prepared for this and of course, with the lack of knowledge, we can't expect them to use that.

I hope I could be wrong but for me, Bitcoin is just known as a profitable investment, not a payment option.
648  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you pay for signals? And how much ? on: November 23, 2023, 09:10:19 AM
The majority are against these signal groups and aren't welcome in the forum.
Besides, we can't blame the harsh sentiment of the members because that is based on their experience, (might some just believe what they have heard around). Perhaps, it was concluded already that these signal groups are just a waste of time and money. Yes, if they can make their own market analysis, why stop ourselves from doing that rather than relying on these signal groups? That is the fact that we need to keep in mind.
649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in psychic betting? on: November 22, 2023, 09:45:05 PM
No, I don't because I don't have the feeling of believing in it. Luck comes to us without those things and no matter what we gonna do, we never know when our luck arrives. Because if we assume that psychic betting really works, people get crazy doing that but it won't which is why only a few people have the guts to believe such a way of betting.

Anyway, we can do whatever we think as long as it is not against the casino. Besides, casinos know that gambling is all about winning and losing, and more often the favors go to the casino.
650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this a good advice? on: November 22, 2023, 11:49:09 AM
I keep seeing gamblers advising themselves that you are one step closer to winning the jackpot when you quit too early,  it's sad that they strongly believe this.

Is this true?

The casino will say that in order to keep the spirit of the gamblers and continue gambling. Perhaps, it was a manipulative way of saying but some people will then say, who knows? They always have a reason to insist and set an example.

Those gamblers who believe this are those gamblers who can't accept losses but chase their losses hoping for luck. Unfortunately, the more we chase our losses, the more we spend time gambling, the more lose. That is why if I gamble, I don't think about winning but rather think that I am gambling for fun.
651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So we got new CEO of Binance on: November 22, 2023, 11:16:03 AM
I'd found it normal while CZ is facing a hard situation and of course, to just let Binance continue their operation with the other person who manages it while the case isn't settled down.

Well, with the remarkable background of the new leader and CEO, we can still have confidence that Binance will remain strong and still in the right direction. I was certain that Mr. Teng as the new CEO knows the best thing to do in order to avoid such issues again. Might CZ be at fault for not anticipating the situation but his contribution is huge enough that every Binance user will forget.
652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I got started with Bitcoin and how it is blessing for me? on: November 22, 2023, 09:34:46 AM
The story of yours OP tells us how important to use our money wisely and even if we come from poor family but have a good way of spending our money, it certainly will grow. Many people neglected to invest in Bitcoin 10 years ago but now, they regret from missing the chance and you made it right.

Investing in Bitcoin is really profitable but this won't really work for those investors who are impatient. That is why not all who invested in crypto ended just like you, some had also suffered losses and feel regrets.

653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top altcoin that you won't buy anymore on: November 21, 2023, 09:58:56 PM
There are couple that were once known as Ethereum killer like NEO and DOT then there is LTC as well as XRP. I used to have them in my portfolio sometime back but it felt they are not worthy it for various reasons. I feel it is better to buy meme coin and take a big risk or invest in coins that have been in the market and are on the top 10 position on Coingecko.
Those known and old coins are not really profitable short term but these meme coins do which really changes your mind. Well, that was undeniable knowing that many people have been earning a lot from investing meme coins, and for me, it was considered a wise choice as long as we don't hold them.
But talking about LTC, XRP, NEO, and DOT --you could really think that they are worthless which also I could agree, and that is why I don't choose them as well.  I have ETH already and I continue accumulating Bitcoin as these two coins are good for investing long-term.
654  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You At Any Point In Time Blame Who Taught Or Led You To Gambling? on: November 21, 2023, 09:37:48 PM
I was totally innocent about gambling until one of my friends taught me about this. Well, at first was happy because the time I tried, I was lucky that I won some and so I said to myself that there is easy money in gambling. But all the happy moments ended when the situation turned the opposite as I continued gambling, not a single bet I placed had won anymore and very unfortunate that all of my allowance had been lost already. That was the time I realized that gambling doesn't make you money if you are hungry already to win and even blamed myself.
655  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: November 21, 2023, 12:32:32 PM
all that you said seems easy to say but difficult to do by gambling addicts who focus on gambling and most of them also ignore many things because they only think about big wins, but I agree with what you said, even though it is difficult they have to try it and fight the emotions that are in themselves by limiting themselves when gambling it can reduce the risk of losing large amounts of money. That way they can reduce the harmful effects of gambling which will certainly be good for themselves.
I admit that fighting emotions is not an easy thing, but as we said before, as long as you are willing to try, it will definitely become a habit and all of this can be started by appreciating the things you have, for example, when you have a budget of $100, use $20 and appreciate every $0.1 so you can enjoy it. and when you get a $5 win try to stop.
With these positive habits, a gambler who has difficulty controlling himself will definitely get used to things like this.
Only a few gamblers made it right and became successful while the majority struggled hard and just failed --that is how gambling works.

It is quite understandable that gamblers don't lose their hopes in luck. That is why instead of thinking of withdrawing their winning, they choose to keep it there because they will still use it the next day believing that it will grow and also, they are saving some cost of transaction fees. Withdrawing is considered when the amount is huge like hitting the jackpot prize but with that $5, I don't think it is worth enough.
656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: November 21, 2023, 12:01:23 PM
Things that every gambler must avoid is playing gambling when they are bored, chasing to return capital and gambling over an excessive time limit.  i have also experienced this, but for now i will not do that again, when i run out of capital that i have set for today, i will stop, i will try to return my capital again tomorrow, because my luck will definitely be different. tomorrow.  The main rule in gambling is don't be greedy and don't chase after returning your capital one day, let it all start again tomorrow.
First people gamblers who chase loses are already in pains, the pain of loss. And the move to chase a lost is an act that seems to the gambler as trying to right a wrong. The truth is when chasing losses any gambling strategy you would have had goes right out the window. I was once a victim of this, in the past, I once lost $100 in one spin and then instantly I went and put on the same bet within a matter of seconds and lost another $100 right there and then because I panicked. My head was in one place because at that moment I wanted to rectify the situation. I ended up making the situation far worse.
And the more we chase our losses, the more we lose control of our emotions leading to the worse scenario that we surely experience later.
That is why if we can afford to lose $100 in gambling, then better make a decision not to try this either because this will only be the reason for losing $1000, instead of just $100. In the words, more chasing, more losses, and we end up empty.
And as we look into those people who are desperate to chase losses are those who are newbies. We really need to educate ourselves first before gambling, not after.
657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Argentina Be The Next El Salvador To Accept Bitcoin As Legal Tender? on: November 21, 2023, 08:11:47 AM
Well, we can't just say it now as it will depend on the leaders --their market approach and education dissemination to their countrymen. Knowledge is very important otherwise, their intention to accept and legalize Bitcoin as a payment option will only just fail. Acceptance will just done when people have already understood it clearly and so these business operators are also welcome for such changes. After all, it relies on the implementation of the government and the support of the community otherwise, it won't succeed.
658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is there so much interest in popular cryptocurrencies? on: November 20, 2023, 09:43:07 PM
Why does the cryptocurrency world focus so much on highly capitalized projects, to the detriment of more promising and lesser-known ones?

Perhaps one reason is inertia - to stay with recognized, established projects instead of taking risks with young ideas. However, even with a low profile, projects like Cogitex, for example, can provide openness and transparency in their every action, which is often not enough in the world of cryptocurrencies.

Cogitex represents an innovative approach to artificial intelligence and space exploration, promising to break new ground. The question is how much the community is willing to pay attention to such projects, despite their current status.

What if not and you are investing in this project and lose? At least investing in known altcoins gives them some assurance that it will never turn into a scam project but these new projects even though they have the potential are likely to turn into a scam. That is why, they've preferred to take risks in old altcoins rather than taking risks in these new altcoins, and aside from that, they don't have problems with these old coins which would really matter a lot if you are investing.
659  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: November 20, 2023, 03:32:30 PM
"if you want to make money with gambling, own the casino" is a proverb I can never get over with, when I first came across this proverbs, I think I paused and read it over and over again for over 10 times or more, and I think this indeed overly changed my initial perspective or perception concerning gambling.

It is particularly true that we are mostly in gambling to make money, and not entirely to have fun, but just as you have correctly said it, it is still very important for us to trick our minds to believe that we are doing it to have fun, this is actually very important for our well-being, it is the same as believing that a money is lost before it's actually lost, one doesn't feel too bad since he or she only lost money that was already lost, this are things we trick our minds to believe, so that we can ultimately enjoy gambling, and even if at the end of the day, we do not win anything, we don't regret it that much.
Honestly, it was quite difficult to drive our minds to think that this is just for fun because our main goal is to win the jackpot prize and give most gamblers a reason why they are here. We live is such an assumption already that gambling makes someone rich because we saw some lucky gamblers win the jackpot prize in lotteries and totally change their lives then more people got the courage and hope they could do it as well. Unfortunately, what they got is only losses and desperation just like what I felt before but I realize that was wrong.
660  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much was the price of Bitcoin when you started trading? on: November 20, 2023, 03:14:34 PM
I couldn't totally remember the price but that was around $$8k - $10k. Though I knew Bitcoin earlier but due to the lack of interest and knowledge in trading, that makes me think about not doing it. But I never felt any regret because I'd see it was too difficult if you were not prepared well and just think that if I started earlier, I could imagine that I surely lose a lot of money.

There is no perfect time to start trading but what is important is that we are fully ready --capital, knowledge, and skills.
