661  Economy / Economics / Re: Can legalisation of Cannabis help US economy? on: September 15, 2020, 12:01:47 PM
As far as I know, there are limits on the amount of marijuana that can be grown at home, just a few plants.

What state are you talking about? Because I think it can change from state to state. Either way a few plants is probably more than you'd ever want as long as you smoke it yourself.

And the use is allowed in a certain amount, not exceeding the norm. Therefore, I think legalization implies an increase in the number of states in which it will be allowed, and not an increase in the amount for consumption.

I didn't get your point. So will be good for the US economy or not?

Of course! It will be good in the sense that this business from the shadow and criminal business became an ordinary business (sorry for the tautology), and also related to medicine.

It is too obvious that cannabis do really have a lot of consumer due to its benefits and it will surely become popular in the market.

There are a lot of people who are pushing, protesting, and rooting for Cannabis to be legalized and open to a certain country. The only thing that will possible make it put into place is its regulation to prevent addiction and illegal transaction in it. What matters the most is that, people who needs it medically will not have any hassle using and buying this whenever they need it and businesses will surely have an upward movement in its demand that can make the economy grow.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fun Facts about Bitcoins on: September 15, 2020, 11:27:31 AM
This is really a good and satisfying facts. As I read every single details, it makes me have a much wider understanding towards bitcoin.

I already read some of them before when I'm seeking information about bitcoin when I'm just starting to invest to it a few years ago.

I'm still rooting for more knowledge and history about this bitcoin so that I can somehow understand how successful this bitcoin is.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The acceptance of cryptocurrency worldwide on: September 15, 2020, 10:57:54 AM
Worldwide acceptance is still too low. There are a lot of problems with regulation and merchants adoption. And still, not so much people need it in general

Also problem with the economy and every government, it is not that easy to achieve bitcoin's adoption due to its reputation.

If scamming and hacking scenarios are still existing in the news that makes the public have a bad reputation towards it, bitcoin's acceptance in the community is really hard to achieve. I'm just thinking about other factors, i'm stating some facts because there are still a lot of newbies who are getting fooled in a cryptocurrency industry, which is not a good thing.

Regulation is also a main problem and an another factor to consider.
664  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Fundamental Analysis or Technical Analysis - which is more important? on: September 14, 2020, 10:55:31 AM
Both are important and have a good use in the market, but I prioritized using Technical Analysis because I see it much profitable for me.

This helped me a lot about the timing and patience, this also made me understand that there are a lot of possibilities that might happen in a short period of time.

It can improve your decision making to prevent bad timings, it will help you to have much clearer and certain perception towards the movement in the market. Most of the common mistakes of the newbies are decision making, that's why they aren't really making profits and instead losing their assets.
665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbee: Is bitcoin a real currency on: September 14, 2020, 09:51:30 AM
Not all people consider it as a currency. There are people that use it, clearly, for investment and others for store of value.

It is true, we have different standards for us to consider something a real currency.

But for me, bitcoin is a real currency. Although it is still under development and it needs a lot of time to become a certified and guaranteed currency in the world, those who already engaged to it will surely benefit its existence in the market in the near future. Bitcoin is volatile, and most of the people is making it as a reason why bitcoin can't be a real currency.
666  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies - Read before using exchanges or investing on: September 14, 2020, 09:21:33 AM
I still read newbies not doing research about an exchange and the newbie only mention that he/she is interested to invest in the because it is interesting and I only advise not to invest in it instead do a research about it and you'll surely can decide if it is worth it to invest or not. Do research is number 3 in your list and it's important that we must do it just like the rest of it.

If newbies keep doing this when they are dealing with their investments, they will really have a hard time to make it grow in the market.

Not having an idea, a plan, and a strategy is really not a guaranteed move in investments. It does really take a lot of courage, knowledge, and idea so that you are prepared in any circumstances that you might encounter in the market. It is not that hard to make a research, spending time knowing the things that you should know more before engaging in the market.

Especially in trading, focus on doing technical analysis when you want to make it profitable.

667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is possible that bitcoin will use nowadays in cash less transaction? on: September 13, 2020, 10:07:55 AM
Possibly, yes, but there are some factors that we need to consider such as those areas who are under development.

Those indigenous areas are not that into the use of modern technologies so if we will regulate cash less transactions around the world, then probably they will have a hard time living and getting used with the new normal of transactions. This cash less transaction is only beneficial for those people who can afford it and who are knowledgeable to do use it.

Let other people make transactions where they are comfortable with so that there will be no people who will left behind.
668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand on: September 12, 2020, 03:23:45 PM
At first, yes it is, especially if you don't have any idea or you have 0% knowledge about it.This forum is really a big help for those who are interested and willing to learn about blockchain, bitcoin, and other cryptocurrencies that are existing in the market.

Here in this forum there are a lot of sections that they can visit and spend time reading. Youtube is also effective, a lot of videos, especially books are really essential and easy to understand when you are willing to learn.

Without practice and application, your bitcoin knowledge will become useless so as soon as possible, invest to it once you are ready.
669  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't use your bitcointalk account password on other websites on: September 12, 2020, 02:53:35 PM
Absolutely not.

The thing that I do with my accounts is that, I made a list of those accounts in other platforms that are not that important so that I don't forget them when I try to access them.

But those platforms such as like this, it is very important to make it unique and easy to memorize even in those social media account that is personal. Here in bitcointalk, it is really necessary for you to not to apply the password or username that you use in other social media to prevent hacking or linking of accounts and also for the security of your account.
670  Other / Archival / Re: What will happen to bitcoin on a world war? on: September 12, 2020, 02:23:01 PM
Probably, some governments are using bitcoin to buy some weapons or warheads that can be used in case of a war.

They are not saying it in the public because it can cause panic and anxiousness towards this conflict. When world war occurs, it depends if bitcoin will lose its value depending on the amount or the severity of the disaster that it brought to the humanity. If this war eliminate most of the humanity and it affect most of the percentages in the world then money and all other currency will become useless.

No one will benefit all of the money that they earned and worked for if this war really occurs, everything will become useless except, lives.
671  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold Price Prediction & its impact on cryptocurrencies on: September 11, 2020, 09:32:19 AM
Gold become best and secure investment for the future without risk lower price, different with bitcoin and altcoin because have bigger risk when bitcoin and altcoin going down, many people like for investing with gold for long term and take much profit with bitcoin as short investment term, by the way bitcoin could up suddenly more than 100% few years only.

As for a long-term investment? Gold is really the best and suitable for it.

You don't need to make it move in the market, you don't need to buy and sell when it is necessary. It is really far different from cryptocurrencies that should be utilized depending on the market. Bitcoin, ETH, DEX and etc, are for a short-term investments where you can make profits once you buy and sell and make transactions in the right time.

I really want to invest in both, so that i can learn the two and it will surely improve my mindset towards investments.c
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption because of difficulty faced by mankind on: September 11, 2020, 08:31:11 AM
'Inevitable' sounds too confident to me, bitcoin is under pressure in the mainstream, involved in many controversies and widely used in illegal activities online. I'd rather call it great addition to current state of our finance than inevitable, coz logically it is not. Inevitable is something that cannot force to deny, or avoid on which the case with bitcoin it is not. Besides, most of the companies are running after blockchain and not bitcoin itself. Blockchain adoption is realer than what we dream bitcoin adoption. A basic law that will state prohibition of bitcoin can stop one from using it. Not inevitable.

Because bitcoin has a lot of potential to become the biggest currency next to fiat.

The only difference is the platform where they are being used and store. Bitcoin adoption is hard to achieve as it is really been utilized for wrong and illegal projects where the authorities are putting it in their record. Also most of the scams are really increasing right now due to people's ignorance towards bitcoin. Bitcoin is inevitable in a way that it is really dominating the market right now, compared to other coins.

It is popular but having conflict in the mainstream world.
673  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best trading platform for beginners? on: September 11, 2020, 07:14:56 AM
For me, based on my experience, Binance is the best and it is very user friendly compared to other trading platforms.

It is not that hard to explore, it is not that hard to learn, you just need to practice and learn how trading works in it. I know it is not that instant to become good and comfortable in trading platform that you are using but you should consider a lot of factors such as time, willingness, and effort to do it.

Just practice and develop your skills in trading so that you will become effective every time you perform transactions.
674  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are scammers everywhere, it is obvious online on: September 10, 2020, 06:51:09 AM
Many scammers are not that smart, its the people that get scammed that are stupid.

Scammers can be avoided and prevented based on your awareness to it.

It is not that hard to determine those fake scams and fake giveaways that are existing in the internet. When you are knowledgeable about it, you will not become their victim and prevent losses in your asset. Like what most of the people say, "never trust easily" especially to those schemes that are obviously suspicious and sketchy.

Try to visit the beginners & help thread so that you have a lot of things to read regarding this topic.
675  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: 1,500 restaurants in France start accepting bitcoin payments through Just Eat!!! on: September 10, 2020, 06:20:59 AM
It's definitely good news, but unfortunately, with a few Google searches it doesn't look like they're accepting bitcoin through Lightning(at least yet). Any widely used platform should really take the risk and accept Lightning payments if we want to see any adoption at all.

I agree but it’s better than nothing & a good step in the right direction. All new adoption is a positive & Rome wasn’t built in a day. It’s going to take years for absolute mainstream adoption but every little is good.

Achieving mainstream adoption is not that easy and it needs a lot of time and patience for it to become accomplished.

But this is the only start, with just a simple adoption like this, making businesses accepts bitcoin as a payment this is a big help for us. Bitcoin community should be really supporting this cryptocurrency so that not only restaurants will be the one to accept bitcoin as a payment, so that any other business can also join in this development.

Lightning payments will surely become normalized soon so we just need to take some time.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for blind people on: September 10, 2020, 05:36:01 AM
I think this idea is very good for blind people to know the development of cryptocurrency in the future and introduce it, but I'm not sure all blind people will understand how to use cryptocurrency by explaining it, because it is very difficult for blind people to understand how cryptocurrency works for them and I'm afraid they don't be able to properly store their security keys in the future.

They should know that bitcoin does exist in the market, being blind is not a hindrance for people to become successful.

If they are knowledgeable about it and someone made a platform for those blind people to access bitcoin, then that's a good adoption. We have a lot of developed platforms right now, some apps can be accessed by only a voice speech, text-to-speech, so it is not a hassle for them anymore. Also guidance can be a way so that we can help person with disabilities to experience bitcoin in an investment.

Cryptocurrency is a must to invest because there's a lot of good impact into it and it can really make people's lives become worth it.

678  Economy / Economics / Re: In COVID-19 everyone needs motivation on: September 09, 2020, 04:12:55 PM
You're goddamn right bro. I've had a huge decrease of sales in my personal online business due to the corona and it depresses me.

Living a life like this is really stressful and it is not that impossible for us to feel any unproductiveness.

Nowadays, people are just staying at home and waiting for a job where they can work for just to sustain their needs. Businesses are closed, they are not allowed to operate and chosen type of businesses are only operating due to the risks of getting the disease in an open store or establishments.

This pandemic also gives me worrisome problem that can destroy my mental health and happiness during this quarantine, there are a lot of opportunities wasted.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin for salary on: September 09, 2020, 01:38:38 PM
If a company can make bitcoin as a form of salary, then why not? It depends on the worker if he is a bitcoin user or if he is knowledgeable about how bitcoin works in the market. If he knows that he can benefit the thing that he worked hard for then probably he will accept it as a salary. There are still a lot of people who are not that knowledgeable about bitcoin existence and impact in the economy.

Businesses can be affected by giving this bitcoin a big opportunity to make people earn it in the way they can and they want.
680  Economy / Economics / Re: Our chance to reset on: September 07, 2020, 08:51:49 AM
It is not a simple as you wish it to be. Preventing people from working can lead to poverty and starvation, and ultimately death.

Plus, economies will really crash due to unemployment and closed businesses.

Financial or economic reset are really approaching but that doesn't mean that it is an advantage for all of us. This pandemic really brought a lot of damage and inconvenience to humanity. Even the animals are affected due to starvation and bankruptcy of those zoos. All the sectors are affected, mainly, economics due to increasing of jobless people.
