661  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Bullish trend on: October 05, 2019, 11:45:05 PM
Notwithstanding this potential bearish difference, various analysts are observing that bulls get a chance to switch the continuous downtrend and drive Ethereum higher in the nearby term
Anyone with a blog or a social media presence can be called an analyst and that is the world we live now a days. If someone think that the bullish trend in ETH will be here anytime soon, they need to come up with a good explanation on why that is rather than giving out charts and other data which are just bogus in my experience in the market. The ETH market exploded when the token market was in full swing and now we have a clarity that majority of the tokens were scams or the projects have shut down. So what makes ETH interesting again, my answer for now is none. I have bitcoin and i am happy with it and that does not mean that i am not holding ETH, i used to mine ETH and i am holding a huge amount and if the price rallies then i will be more than happy to off load everything Smiley.
662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Smile-to-pay - facial payment technology in China on: October 05, 2019, 10:38:33 PM
Smile-to-pay doesn't seem safe to me. Quite the contrary
Every technology will have a negative aspect too but you have to think bigger, if companies are coming up with solutions that will make things better for the human civilization, so be it and i know there are many problems that will arise including privacy issues as these technologies will be used in other sectors as well to monitor people by the government. Where do we balance these will be always a big question.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rant: I am thinking of Quitting my Interest in Crypto Currency on: October 05, 2019, 09:35:44 PM
Coinbase Pro recently raised it's fees so high as to block out ordinary traders.  Binance kicked out USA traders.  Bakkt is not going to be too much different as they just keep raising the bar and implementing more rules and regulations, making crypto boring.  Gemini is just a greed machine too, while the people who own Gemini are already ultra ultra wealthy, and they just want to keep becoming more and more greedy.
All the business that started in the bitcoin market are done to make money and none of them care about the true value and vision of Satoshi. Majority of the early bitcoiners are also blind sided when money started pouring in and even they are not following the true vision and i wish to see true bitcoiners starting these exchanges which could really stand for the people and conduct a fair business.
Even i started early and used to mine but then lost interest as the scams started pouring into the market and there is nothing we could do to counter that. All we need is a fair market without any scams and if the early investors could join and come up with projects that could improve the market scene that would be really great to develop the market.
664  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 05, 2019, 05:14:08 PM
Looking at the current scenario, SL are destined to win this match unless we see some strong comeback from Pak which is highly unlikely. Who would have thought that SL B team would bring down top T20 team. Once again this proves that bets on T20 matches is purely luck based.
This is not luck, Srilanka dominated the entire match and it was not even a close match as Srilanka posted a good total in the scoreboard and then folded the Pakistan batsman by picking up wickets at regular intervals and dominating them from the start and it is no means a lucky win and T20 matches are really unpredictable. Pakistan is a really unpredictable team, one day they perform really well and the other day they come up with sub par performances and even in this match Srilanka won by 64 runs which is a huge margin.
665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 05, 2019, 04:34:45 PM
We have the army taking care of the security for today's match.
Good to see that they are taking security seriously and finally the Pakistan fans are able to watch International matches. Pakistan lost 5 wickets and they still need 90 runs to win and the required run rate is increasing and they need 13 runs per over. Srilanka can win the match from here as they are bowling really well and they are taking wickets at regular intervals.
666  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 05, 2019, 03:26:41 PM
Great news to the fans of the notorious Conor Mcgregor and this time it’s like watching Rocky 4, he will be a guest in Khabibs homeland which is already an advantage to Khabib. I guess Conor really wants this fight badly if he agreed and signed. Imagine the pressure of fighting with the crowd against you.
Even if Khabib is fighting Conor McGregor anywhere in the world there is no way McGregor is going to defeat the wrestling style of Khabib. Why would the fans want to see another fight when he did not have an answer for anything in the last fight and what makes the fan think that he could defeat Khabib.
If they fight again in Russia, it will be a huge event and McGregor will have yet another excuse for his defeat  Grin.

I feel like Adesanya really doesn't have the kind of confidence he shows when he's talking at interviews...  Watch his face off after the weigh in.  Hmmm...  Somebody could be in biiig trouble when the cage is locked.  Cheesy
This is the biggest fight in Middleweight history and i cannot predict the fight and that is what interest me to watch this fight live, Robert Whittaker is coming back after a long lay off due to injuries and Israel Adesanya is active and have never faced defeat in MMA and both are well experienced.
667  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: October 05, 2019, 02:17:48 PM
Talking about Liverpool match against Leicester - I am looking forward to a straight win for LFC. 2 - 1 for Liverpool would be nice.
Liverpool is on a winning streak and i do go with your scorecard and i expect Liverpool to win against Leicester but when it comes to betting i am going with the safest option, Draw no bet for Liverpool and then i am putting another match as parlay, the match against Manchester City and Wolves, this will be an easy win for Manchester City in my opinion and hence going for a parlay for both these matches.

Manchester City To win
Liverpool to win and Draw no bet
668  Economy / Economics / Re: IS 5G AN OPPORTUNITY FOR CRYPTO TO GO MAIN STREAM? on: October 05, 2019, 01:20:18 PM
One of the hottest and most anticipated upcoming technology trends for 2019 is the Fifth Generation (5G) wireless network technology.
The fifth generation technology will change many concepts and the speed of internet will change drastically and we could have many changes in our day to day affairs but the biggest negative point is that none of the hardware we are using right now will not support (5G) wireless network technology. For (5G) wireless network technology to go mainstream you need to have the hardware and until that you do not see any major adoption with it.
669  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win a Lamborghini Huracan LP 580-2!! on: October 05, 2019, 11:59:10 AM
I know very little about freebitco.in apart from the fact that this is probably the most .IN website out there. Probably more popular than any domestic / international INDIAN brand.
What makes you think that it is an Indian brand, getting a .in domain does not mean that they have anything to do with India Tongue.

However, I have a question. Since I am particularly feeling lazy today, is there anyone in the history of freebitco.in that has actually won a Lamborghini? And do these guys have a physically acquired Lamborghini in storage or display somewhere? In other words, how legit is the "giveaway'?
Even i have not heard anyone winning a Lamborghini from any of the gambling sites let alone freebitcoin  Cheesy. They are providing a giveaway and let us see whether anyone is going to win that, it will be a huge advertisement for them if someone wins but the problem with these sort of prize is that you will not be able to afford these luxury prizes as the import charges will be more than the prize of a car.
670  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. on: October 05, 2019, 10:46:27 AM
Watford are the home favorites tonight, here is the Watford Special
There is a chance for Watford to defeat Sheffield United but i do not consider this to be a high scoring match and i expect both teams to score goals and Watford has not won any games in this season while Sheffield United won two matches this season and if i want to take a risk i will go for both teams to score and i am expecting a draw.
Good to see Sportsbet sponsoring Watford and the promotion for the fans .
671  Economy / Reputation / Re: List of banned participants in the Cryptotalk Campaign on: October 05, 2019, 08:33:47 AM
Sir, I just want to remind you that mixers are usually used by people with a gambling or drug addiction or for criminal purposes. If your campaign has good prices, it does not make her money less "dirty". True cryptans use Monero to ensure anonymity, and do not try to turn bitcoins into mincemeat through a mixer. Therefore, please moderate your ardor in matters of reputation (or remove your signature). Thanks. Smiley
Why you want to start yourself with fake respect  Tongue. Who told mixers are used by people who have gambling and drug addiction, it is called privacy and each and every individual have the rights for that. I am not sure whether your government have brain washed you saying that people who needs privacy are criminals  Tongue. I use bitcoin and if i am not comfortable using Monero then i will use mixers for my privacy and that is my choice.

Edit: Joining the campaign as it is not promoting the exchange.
672  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ghosts. True or false. on: October 04, 2019, 05:24:35 PM
Yes, I know that there are a lot of fake videos and movies about ghosts, but still.
I am not talking about demons and stuff, but some paranormal activities: Poltergeists, parallel worlds colliding etc.
Have you ever encountered something or know about ghosts, I would be glad to know.
The only encounter i have with paranormal activities is through movies and novels  Cheesy. I have seen many videos in social media platforms but how can i make a decision whether they are real or not just by reading and viewing those videos, if i encountered in my life i would have an opinion, but i love to have an encounter.

674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 03, 2019, 06:57:12 AM
~snip
202/0 is not an outstanding performance? Hilarious. Rohit and Mayank set up the perfect start for India and I highly doubt this will end in a draw. This looks like a win for India all the way at this point. Even if it rains later, I am expecting India to pack up the South African lineup pretty quickly.
Waiting for the Indian team to declare their innings and send South Africa to bat and you will understand what i was talking about, i like to see a competitive cricket and not seeing players scoring tons of runs and there is no assist to any bowlers, Test cricket is dying because of these dull events and if ICC is planning to reinvent Test cricket they need to come up with a minimum standard for pitches too rather than having flat batting wickets.
675  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: October 02, 2019, 11:05:46 AM
A score in excess of 600 looks like a probability for India and the question is how long they are going to take, to achieve it. If there is rain interruption in the coming days, then this match will be heading for another boring draw. There will be chance of a result only if Ashwin or any other Indian bowler is able to get South Africa out for less than 300.
Test cricket is a dying bread and if they prepare dead wickets like this for the batsmen to score runs and end up in a draw after five days of play is not an interesting result everyone is looking forward. I do not think that it is an outstanding performance from the Indian openers as the pitch was not giving any assistance to the bowlers and the pitch was flat in the first day which gives you an idea how the match will go, weather is also not that great and expect sessions to be missed in the next days too and it will end up in a draw.
676  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Will you use a Facebook coin? on: October 02, 2019, 07:50:11 AM
I would use it if it gives benefits to use it. I don't trust Facebook too much, but if it makes things more convenient or gives actual bosuses then why not..
Hope you meant bonus Tongue . Does anyone trust the banks while transacting, no one does but they will have all your private details but you can trust that they will do their best to secure your identity and that cannot be said with Facebook and their past practices.

But definitely wouldn't hodl too much of such coin. Long term only BTC for the win  Cheesy But Facebook would find a lot of users who would use it anyways no matter what, because its fcb Tongue
I do not think that facebook is coming up with any novel coins to hold for a long time. There are many legal issues they will be facing and despite that if they launch, they will try their luck for a few years and then i expect them to fold the project as if nothing happened  Cheesy.

created my account with them 2 hours ago , deposited 400 euros and will see how it goes
thing is that I asked them to create a thread here and they said they will do , find it really strange you created this thread right after I told their support they need to do that  Roll Eyes
I am waiting to hear your updates to see how things will go with the new sports book, it is a strange scenario for a newbie account to start a thread just to ask about it and nothing further, i am hearing about this site for the first time and since they are bitcoin related i am not sure why they do not post their services here to attract more users, either way looking forward for their review and lets see how long they will go  Smiley.
678  Economy / Services / Re: Coming soon - Gamblingtec Signature Campaign | Get BTC or your own casino brand on: July 07, 2019, 11:37:48 AM
If people don't like the escrow, don't participate in the campaign.  Simple as that.  He shouldn't be forced to use a certain escrow, bitcoiners should believe in freedom.
What freedom are you talking about, we have seen many scams in the forum and everyone will be skeptical if a newbie starts a campaign and then copies one of the managers design and words and then the OP took the escrow of a person who never did any escrow before and never willing to take any legit escrows here and now a newbie account vouching against it, everything seems legit  Roll Eyes.

my point was to show how ludicrous the escrow requirement is since it adds just an extra layer to be scammed under.
The escrows that were mentioned were reputed members in this forum who handled 1000 of bitcoins and how much amount you are planning to escrow, hopefully not more than i have mentioned for a campaign right Tongue.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: US lawmaker: Facebook must delay Libra cryptocurrency on: June 20, 2019, 12:40:37 AM
A US lawmaker has said Facebook should delay the launch of its Libra crypto-currency - hours after the social network formally announced the project.

"Given the company's troubled past, I am requesting that Facebook agree to a moratorium on any movement forward on developing a crypto-currency until Congress and regulators have the opportunity to examine these issues and take action," said Democratic congresswoman Maxine Waters.
They will listen to the US law makers and since it is a centralized coin they have to be worried if the authorities asked them to delay things because if facebook challenges the authorities the possibility of them being taken down in a relatively short period of time is really high and with that fear in mind, they will delay things.
680  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: EU Warns Malta of the Dangers of Ignoring Money Laundering on: June 19, 2019, 04:04:53 PM
Malta aka Blockchain Island has become the mecca crypto due to its favorable crypto laws. With the flood of crypto money to the island it's been taking the right steps to work on compliance such as partnering with crypto security firm CipherTrace to identify and prevent crypto crime.

Steps like this seems to help make the government quite happy in how to handle crypto and manage risk in countries. Would you agree? What else do we need to implement or be sure to watch out for?
Everyone knows that Malta is a free heaven for every companies and if they do not heed the warning then there will be strict regulations against them and i am sure they will not make things worse and comply to the demands of EU and US, i personally do not like these kind of restrictions but the way in which is market is going with all the scams, we need to have some regulations to get rid of the scammers from the market and since every transaction in bitcoin can be tracked it is not a big task if they want to catch all the scammers.
