Wow dude, I don't know where to begin.  Why do you keep talking about things that have nothing to do with the health benefits of meat (e.g. The Dalai Lama fraud issue, which by the way I'm familiar with and know those claims are ridiculously absurd)?  That does nothing to support your case and everything to suggest that perhaps you're the brainwashed one here.

Meat is good for you.  I know this from experience, from scientific literature, and from common sense.   Then add the fact that it's so damn TASTY, like fruit, and like complex carbohydrates like potatoes and yams and such.  The reason things are tasty is because they contain lots of energy.  Nature has this lovely way of making foods full of energy taste good, and the things we shouldn't eat taste god awful.  Vegetables are tolerable, but hardly tasty all on their own unless you add other tasty things. Why?  Because vegetables contain such low amounts of energy that you have to spend hours preparing and eating them!  Why not just eat a steak and get 500-1000 calories in a much faster, tastier way?

I eat almost zero vegetables and am in the best shape of my life (have pictures to prove it).  And, I don't clear a room every time I take a few steps Wink

watch out, he'll quote him selfs a dozen of times of post he copied from the Internet to try and convince you the vegetarians are better any way than other people. Yet Statically speaking people that have a balanced nutrition (including meat) are way more relevant and had more achievement not matter how many vegetarian exception

How do you know they are way more relevant? I'm not sure there's figures on this and I'm also not sure it's just a question of this specific person does or does not eat meat therefore they're better than person x or y who doesnt etc.

Simply statically speaking, people that eats meat are way more numerous than their vegan counterpart and thus the result is obvious.

Also if you look at top sportsman and Olympic winners, you don't see many 100% pure vegetarian, I've been saying this from the beginning, it's all about nutrition balance, at the top sport level, the detail of balance is made by the milligram especially during preparation and during an event

It is, it doesn't really make sense.
Or what is your opinion on that?
I watch it from time to time, seems a bit fun sometimes in German though. Why doesn't it make sense for you?
The main characters in it are scientists (mostly), but they don't get that living in a relationship doesn't have any advantages for them.
Scientists base their actions on logic and this isn't logical at all.
Don't you agree with me?

Some good points but why is this show that popular ?
Have you got any theory on that?

Coz the show is something different with nerds hooking up with some beautiful girls , is it ?

hmm, I prefer watching some anime, or japanese drama than the current american drama, I used to watch some in late 90s, aren't you guys getting tired with the current trend in american series which is make a season one of a show which has the real scenario then if it is succesful make 20 other seasons to milk most of the money possible?

Well water currents, thanks to Coriolis effect, if there are any debris they'll come back or move past the search zone after a while, and they don't just spread everywhere but stay kind of grouped, but it will take a while till then

665  Other / Off-topic / Re: Best place to build the Bitcoin island in the international waters on: May 02, 2014, 10:57:30 AM
Once Bitcoin reaches 10k , this might happen as many people will try to avoid taxes and other repercussions .
The price of Bitcoin isn't really that important. It needs a lot of funding, doesn't matter in which currency.
well it has some kind of importance, since the market cap will be big enough for such a project, and I agree, on the scale we are talking it is at least a couple of dozen billions of $ and even more since we are talking about international waters (relatively long distance and deepness which makes thing really complicated)

Why would anyone bothers with a show using the name of a scientific theory to get attention? I don't -.-
669  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your favorite game on: May 02, 2014, 09:52:00 AM

671  Other / Off-topic / Re: What video games do you play? on: May 02, 2014, 09:47:33 AM
Glad to see some SC2 fan in bitcoin forums the hardest and the most demanding video game out there, and the best RTS out there.

For those who doesn't know about SC2, just take Chess, remove turns remove and make everything much much faster and decision making on fraction of a second
672  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your most precious item? on: May 02, 2014, 09:44:38 AM

673  Other / Off-topic / Re: Colonizing Mars on: May 02, 2014, 09:43:02 AM
it will be simillar to earth, which means wars might start once space exploration becomes lucrative and lobying can began

At that time earth would have already been destroyed by humans and in time same thing will happen to mars .

Sounds about right, we seem to fuck up on everything.
Mars was already destroyed.

Mars is fine as it is right now, but when you'll either render it Venus like due to pollution or render you destroy due to some thermo nuclear or biohazard shit and make it impossible for any percpective of life then we are talking about what we human can do with our stupidity Sad
674  Other / Off-topic / Re: What video games do you play? on: May 02, 2014, 06:55:16 AM

675  Other / Off-topic / Re: Formula 1 engine sounds ........ on: May 02, 2014, 06:53:21 AM
Does the new sound not turn you on anymore and ruin your stroke?  Cheesy Why don't you mute the volume and make the engine noises yourself with your mouth instead?  Grin

LOL , some cars are very sexy, the sound is essential  Grin I'm not good with sound mimicking Cheesy

@ kuroman

Yes, the cars this season are very slow compared with previous seasons. But alteast people can't complain about Vettel winning nearly all races  Tongue
but that will change soon again, once one team figures a loophole in regulation to have an advantage in their design and wins every race again .... Sad

678  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which Historical figure do you most admire and why? on: May 02, 2014, 06:28:58 AM
Maxwell, he is not given enough credit, but without him and his students that compiled his equations (the famous EM Maxwell equations) we would be still in the 18 century in terms of technology.
