662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin create an opportunity to reduce poverty? on: December 20, 2023, 12:45:53 PM
~
This is no longer "can", bitcoin has already created the opportunity for poverty rate to be reduced by creating an opportunity for investment. There use to be a big gap for the poor and average to fill before becoming rich, but with bitcoins, an opportunity have been created that can help the poor fill the gap and turn their fortune in a very short time.

The money usually needed to find good money, is usually a lot of money. With bitcoins, small amounts of money within your means can steadily be invested.
663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin ok in Viet Nam? on: December 19, 2023, 06:07:28 PM
Is bitcoin ok in Viet Nam?

There are investors in bitcoins in every place regardless of the opinion or stand of the government on bitcoins in that location. Bitcoin is not location specific and restricted to people from a place because of its decentralized nature where it is not being controlled or issued by someone. Bitcoin is okay to own in any location you find yourself, you just need to know the way people around you round you and in the same situation as you going about their investment in bitcoins, from purchasing it to owning it.

Nunez is useless,
Dominic Solanke looks like my next target, he is a better option than Nunez with a very consistent performance for Bournemouth. With his current run of form, Solanke is likely to score for Bournemouth in their next three fixtures against Forest, Fulham and Tottenham.

Come on man, we (the guys without Haaland) needs good round of our players when the android 16 doesnt play for Manchester City, and this doesnt happen clearly, i was expecting a lot of goals on Liverpool game against Manchester United, i was quite close to spend my triple captain on Salah, luckily i didnt.
Onana saved a lot of balls yesterday and Liverpool were just misfiring. Scott McTominay would have also scored a goal, but Alisson pulled out a brilliant save.

Liverpool against Arsenal next, and it is still going to be at Anfield, Big game to decide who sits on top of the table, but I trust the Elephant.
666  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Issues Important Warning as It Plans to Perform Wallet Maintenance on: December 18, 2023, 05:54:12 AM
Binance urged its community not to worry for their assets, assuring them that “funds are safu”,
Best to have in your heart to trust the basket to shield you from rain rather than an umbrella, than to trust any exchange. Never to trust exchanges, no matter how big they are, it is almost the same as trusting your fiat banks. They will never publicly announce that your assets are at risk so not to scare their customers, and will always try to keep things cool even when there are problems. Not saying there is a problem with Binance currently, just that they will never announce it publicly if they are having problems. Never store your assets on an exchange, so that these kinds of announcements never bother you.
667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jpg monkeys are making the fees impossible? Just use a meme coin! on: December 18, 2023, 05:43:28 AM
When fees are high, people don't use Bitcoin for transactions. I'm not surprised that DOGE is used more during busy times as DOGE is the most used crypto-currency for small transactions, I do the same as well.
I would use Doge if I could, but it will not be easy for bitcoin owners who save their bitcoins in electrum wallets that supports only bitcoins? There is no avoiding the high tx fees unless you totally avoiding making any transactions.

When fees are high, people don't use Bitcoin for transactions. Last time I had to pay over 60$ fee for a Bitcoin transaction I still can't forget.
Yesterday's highest tx fee as at when I checked was $37.

I laughed and muttered to myself that is bitcoin tx fee now affected by the festive season where it is almost the culture for the cost of things to increase. Cheesy
668  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [banned mixer] 🦁 Fantasy Premier League Pool ⚽ Discussion Thread on: December 17, 2023, 08:56:40 PM
It never crossed my mind that Liverpool wouldn't be able to score any goal home today.
Strange day at Anfield, and against the record that Liverpool have at home. Manchester United did not have the odds and statistics in their favor, but managed to still get a point from this game, and subject Liverpool to third place just behind Aston Villa who have more goals. Salah blanked! Nunez blanked!

The elephant Arsenal is back on top of the league with a very dominant performance against Brighton,  and good points for Saliba with the clean sheet.

Palmer scored me my highest points this week, I would have had more points this week had I made the necessary changes to  my team.
669  Economy / Economics / Re: Food for thought on: December 15, 2023, 09:44:19 PM
Don't put your financial destiny in the hands of your bosses, you might not know the importance of having your own business till you have been sacked.
It must not only be business, other kinds of investments that can give some level of financial confidence is advised. Business is not for everyone, and in cases where business is not for you, it will take more from you than it will give you.

Before starting a business even as a government worker, or someone earning very well under the private sector, consider the business you are about to start and know if it is a marketable business in your location or not, Know if you are a business person or not, if you are a business person, it will be okay to proceed, but if not, you will need not to proceed with the business plan, or better you employ a manager with god business skills.
670  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 15, 2023, 09:23:34 PM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.
Is gambling now a place to measure intelligence? If this is a metric for determining level of intelligence, I think the outcome will be often wrong. Because many people gamble for fun. Whether a gambler plays a skill based game or a luck based game, it is often a result of choice ad preference. Some gamblers want to completely relax, they just want to gamble freely without having to think so much, so they avoid any games that require too much thinking like the skill based games. Some other gamblers will not mind, and will gamble on skill based games because they like it.

The games gambled on can never be a measure of intelligence.
671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risk and reward of having Bitcoin on: December 15, 2023, 07:37:31 PM
*The high volatility attach to it can be very risky.
The volatility of bitcoin is also the exact reason why people are investing in it, because the understanding that the volatility can be more profiting especially as more people learn about bitcoins.

* It's not generally accepted by all.
Opinions will soon change, majority of the people who do not like bitcoins right now have that opinion about it because of poor understanding of what it is.

* It can be stolen if your system is hacked.
Almost everything can be stolen.

* It's almost near impossible to retrieve if sent to the wrong address.
More reasons to be very careful whenever you are about to make any transactions.
672  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: All thanks to my family they contributed and bought bitcoin for me on: December 15, 2023, 02:07:20 PM
Seeing how curious i am they helped me with some amount in my local currency so i used it to buy Bitcoin.
Sometimes when something which has taken other people a while to achieve is freely gifted to others, they may not value it so much like the people who have worked for it because of the ease with which they got it. In this case, the better hodlers are people who have passed through all the obstacles and hurdles coupled with trying to get and hodl bitcoins after they have invested.

@OP, Don't become the investor in bitcoins who does not value hodling because they did not spend their own money to get the investment that they have now. Be a committed hodler who wants to have results, so the people who invested in your dreams will be proud that they helped you.
673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2023/24 Season on: December 14, 2023, 07:09:34 PM
The host team Union St. Galloise isn't giving Liverpool a space to breath, The Liverpool side did an expensive mistake that brought about the first goal, and USG is mostly operating and penatrating the Liverpool defense from the right wing and that was the same angle through which they scored their first goal, I expect the manager to fix the problem either with a substitute immediately they resume the second half.
Liverpool are already top of their group and have a place in the next round already, and just like what Pep Guardiola did yesterday with his team in the champions league, Klopp has also mixed up the players in this team to play against USG because they already top the group.

Galatasaray, Lens, Sporting Braga, Benfica, Feyenoord, AC Milan, Young boys and Shakhtar Donetsk will move to the Europa after failing from the Champions League. AC Milan already to me are another team that can stop the Liverpool plan to win this competition.
674  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest problem in our society is that average person don't have on: December 14, 2023, 06:45:59 PM
Average person don't have access to capital flow.
The distance between the rich and poor in the society is very big, and if you have had an interaction with two people from the different financial class, you will clearly be able to observe the difference in how informed the rich are and how information deficient the poor is. Information can determine access to capital flow or not.

Cryptocurrency is here no restrictions no limits and only your imagination how much you can earn.
The average person may never have heard of cryptocurrency because of poor information, that can be a limitation to them.
675  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you still use Banks ? on: December 14, 2023, 04:10:38 PM
We have cryptocurrency you still use Banks ?
Cryptocurrency is not to completely stop bank usage, it is only to provide an alternative for use. Banks were the only options before, now there is the option of cryptocurrency. Due to fact that cryptocurrency has not fully been adopted, it is impossible for me to use it exclusively without ever needing the services of the banks.

Do you use more crypto or banks for your daily or average transactions ?
I still use banks for transactions daily, but I trust bitcoins more to save in instead of keeping the money in the bank.
676  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Young student teaching his classmates about Bitcoin on: December 14, 2023, 03:33:37 PM
Asked why Henry is so curious about Bitcoin, his mother said "Henry is surrounded by Bitcoin. His dad and I talk about it all the time. There's always a Bitcoin podcast in the background and Henry often asks the question 'How does Bitcoin go up and down.
This demonstrates how much environment can affect a Childs growth and interest, and why we should be specific about the kind of environment to raise our children. At the early stages of their lives, we have to ensure that children are not just exposed to environments that are unhealthy for their growth. An environment can be unhealthy due to what is been discussed there, and since children can easily carry whatever they hear in their hearts, care has to be taken to control what a child listens to. The parents of the boy already made sure that the boy was exposed to healthy contents and that has helped.

When other young kids in same age grade as the boy see how much knowledge their friend has, some will be inspired to be like him.
677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Security is important in Bitcoin on: December 13, 2023, 10:27:26 PM
Sorry will be the name of any investor who trivializes their security either through carelessness, or ignorance.

its there i noticed that security is highly important in Bitcoin and right now im of very observant and careful with any that concerns security mostly cryptocurrencies.
The careless and less security conscious individuals will have lots of regrets with bitcoins because of poor security practice that can result to loss and theft of investment. Knowing how to secure your bitcoins after buying is not lesser in importance than were to acquire it. There are many people who are not interested in using their own money to buy bitcoins, but looking for how and where to steal from.

So far we have Antwerp drawing with Barcelona at the break of halftime which almost got away from them had it not been a Torres equalizer...
Antwerp were leading Barcelona by two goals, Barcelona scores the equalizer in the ending of the game, but Antwerp strikes back again just a few seconds later to restore their lead, a goal that looks like the last goal of the game with the very little time. Barcelona already top their group, so a lose in this game to Antwerp will be historic for the Antwerp supporters even though it will not be enough to help them qualify for either the next round of the champions league or Europa.

Newcastle played hard to make sure that they do not loose their game to AC Milan, but with the time left on that game, AC Milan have snatched the Europa spot from them.
679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is wiser? on: December 12, 2023, 11:56:17 PM
At the current market condition and having bull run in mind, these persons have $10,000 to invest.

  • Mr. Bob goes 100% with bitcoin.
If they have $10,000 to invest, it is money that has been set side for this. Investing 100% of it into bitcoins and at once can be the wise choice if you understand the risk, and if you watch your entry to the market, so you can enter at a good price.

  • Miss Alice goes 50% bitcoin and 50% random altcoins.
50/50 for bitcoin and altcoins is not wise. Always invest more or all in bitcoins.

  • Mr. theymos goes with bitcoin but $100 weekly DCA.
$100 weekly for investment funds set at $10,000 will take 100 weeks to complete. That time is too long when they money for investment is already available. Mr Theymos should have increased the amount he wants to DCA with, so he can do it within a shorter time.

Very risky Champions League round for me, I posted my answers only few minutes before deadline and this is not the first time doing this
I missed this round picks, I have been unavoidably very occupied with many December season preparations offline.

I had the notification, but still could not meet up. I only enjoyed watching the games especially Manchester United's game where they lost without even making it to the Europa. Newcastle have even a better team than they have, I am sure that they can also proof it again tomorrow when they win AC Milan.

December 18th is the draw for the fixtures of the round of 16 games, I cannot wait to see who Arsenal will go against.
