Another interesting match of the day is Barcelona - Athletic Bilbao.

Because Athletic Bilbao are one of the teams that have started the season quite well. However something is wrong with them for three weeks. I can actually understand the results against Atletico Madrid and Sevilla. But they couldn't beat even Getafe the last time. Getafe are one of the bad teams in the league now in the end. Here in this matchup, they don't seem to have much chance against Barcelona in Camp Nou I'm afraid. Barcelona have improved their effort in the Villarreal match and won easily. Maybe Athletic Bilbao might resist better but they are still likely to lose here.

Liverpool completely shocked me after that performance. While most of us were waiting for Liverpool to get an easy win they just lost to Nottingham by 1-0.

I still don't understand how Liverpool can be this much bad suddenly. They were winning for two weeks and Nottingham was even a much more comfortable opponent for them as well. Nottingham were like one of the worst teams in defense. Despite the huge vulnerability in their defense, Liverpool still struggled to score even one goal. I wish I didn't trust and add them into my betslip. This is another time they are failing me after the huge 3-3 draw against Brighton before. There was a big quality difference despite the injuries so this loss is really unacceptable for the fans surely.

Marseille were weird today. I mean that they were doing really good in the first half but their performance started to drop in the second half very quickly. Lens saw a big opportunity there and benefited from it nicely. Normally Marseille could have won this match if they were able to maintain their performance in both halves.

After this 1-0 loss, Marseille's losing streak has increased to three matches. They are already nine points behind PSG now and the gap has opened much earlier than I expected. Because I thought that Marseille would keep up a good form for a long time this season. They really seemed to care about the Ligue 1 better than the Champions League. But this performance is horrible now.

Fiorentina and Inter faced each other in a really challenging match and we saw Inter managing to be the winner by a huge score like 4-3.

Actually Inter started the match very well by getting 2-0 ahead quite early. But they still had defensive issues which led to a 2-2 draw. Inter got ahead two more times and finally won. Fiorentina really did their best win a match after a three-week break. But now the series is even worse for them. There is a big progress in Inter's performance in offense at least as they won this match despite having big difficulties. I don't know if they can stay in the title fight until the end of the season though. It is all up to how much consistent they will be.

This match is going to be really fierce indeed. They have nearly the same statistics at the moment. Betis might seem to have an advantage as they are playing as the home team. But Atletico Madrid are shown as the favourite side here. Their last duel here ended by Atletico Madrid's 3-1 victory as well. These things help Atletico Madrid come one step forward in this tough matchup.

But as for making a bet on this match, I can't trust Atletico Madrid 100% I'm afraid. They don't seem a very reliable team these days as they lost many points in their last matches including the league and Champions League both. Both teams to score seems nice to prefer which has a 1.97 odd.

A few minutes ago Liverpool conceded a goal by Awoniyi and they are 1-0 behind now.

I don't know what's wrong with this team again. They were looking good with the Manchester City and West Ham wins. I expected even a more comfortable win for Liverpool in this match. Nottingham are like one of the most miserable teams in this season. They have one of the weakest defenses in the league normally and it is obvious with their conceding 23 goals so far. But somehow they are still able to keep Liverpool away from scoring a goal. I know that Liverpool have missing players but the current lineup is still capable of destroying Nottingham anyway.

Maybe this goal would help Liverpool players wake up from their sleep and win the match by a comeback.

I think that Manchester United shouldn't release Ronaldo on free if he doesn't find a team for himself in January. He isn't one of the unnecessary players at the team in the end. It's just Erik ten Hag who doesn't give much chance to him in their EPL matches. I don't know if he has some other personal issues with Ronaldo. Otherwise it is really hard to understand why he is opposing Ronaldo.

Rashford isn't a consistent striker now. He wasted so many opportunities against Tottenham. I would have waited for Ronaldo to enter the match in the second half but it didn't happen. I would like to see him staying until the end of the season at least if he doesn't find a team.

Real Madrid are going to host Sevilla tomorrow and I believe that it is the match of the week as well.

The odds are favouring Real Madrid incredibly highly and this is no surprise obviously. Sevilla have made one of their worst starts to the La Liga in the recent years. A manager change followed this but Sampaoli still needs some time to know this team closely and make things better. They really don't have much chance against Real Madrid in this match. If it was going to be played in Sevilla then maybe they would have been able to get a draw at least. But it is difficult to stop an in-form Real Madrid these days. I don't think Real Madrid would rotate the squad even a little either.

The United States GP is nearly upon us.

The last winner was Verstappen here. He is again the favourite by far even though he has announced his second title in his career already. I don't think that his ambition will drop down much in the rest of the races. I'm just thinking of picking Leclerc win for making bets in the remaining races. Because maybe he might find a chance to win under existing circumstances. He still has a target I assume like fighting for the second spot in the standings against Perez. He would do his best to stay ahead of Perez.

Gabriel Jesus wasted quite many opportunities by the way but he was still very eager to contribute to the match. He didn't play without caring about if it was a Europa League match and it was to see this ambition. Sometimes matches have a very tight lock to open and this was one of them definitely. PSV must be thankful for not having a heavy defeat in Emirates.

I bet on Arsenal to win this but I was really uncomfortable with the 1-0 score in the last moments.    I might prefer to bet on both teams to score next time as I guess that PSV would improve their performance against them in a home match. Arsenal would score again but they might not win because it is like they have nearly guaranteed the lead.

Juventus are obviously the certain favourite team to win the Empoli match. Actually there isn't much point gap between them at the moment. It is only five now. Juventus even lost their last home match against Empoli as well. Juventus are newly recovering at the same time. However bookies have opened a quite low odd like 1.41 for Juventus to win anyway.

Frankly I don't expect Juventus to make a point loss in this match. I don't expect a one-sided match above all else. They struggled against Torino despite the win and it might be the same against Empoli also. Therefore I expect a win like 1-0 or 2-1. Maybe it wouldn't be a comfortable win but Juventus still need to have a lasting winning streak to bring back their old times. If they still continue to lose many points then they can't even finish the season in top 4.

After the Arsenal match this was another big match that Tottenham played really poorly and lost. Maybe they got a red card against Arsenal then but their performance until that card was still really bad. I was hoping to see Tottenham improving their performance this time by learning their lesson. However nothing changed about their performance I'm afraid.

Manchester United were in control from the beginning to the end. Tottenham just tried to take advantage of numbered chances they found in the second half especially but they wasted them quite generously. Conte's Tottenham are still strong in general of course and I expect a clear victory against Newcastle. However the thing is that they need to make an improvement in their performance for the rest of the big matches. Because these are very important for them to be able to keep up with those teams at upper places in the standings.

PSG are definitely among the biggest favourite teams to win the Champions League title this season. But there are some problems going on in the team these days as it seems.

I mean it is still claimed that Mbappe is having with some players in the team currently and Neymar is the most speculated one among them now. Mbappe claims that Neymar has some discipline deficiencies now and he wants to see Neymar being sent from the team at the earliest opportunity. If there is really such problem and PSG don't manage to solve it then this could affect the team performance after the group stage as well. Even though they drew with Benfica two times they are still qualifying for the next phase anyway. But they will face much more serious opponents later on and they need to stay strong as a team not only by performance but also by mental condition.
