Oh, and that made me realized that you're right. It only increases spam posts. Lol.  I didn't read rules #2. Nevertheless, Thank you for your comments. I still appreciate your good compliment. And I will still apply here if I'll get another chance.

I appreciate your positive attitude on this and thanks for getting back to me. Smiley

You can always check back and re-submit your entry but make sure you try to improve as much as you can. Remember, I'm trying to do  constructive criticism that will get you more merits in the future. Smiley
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Trading websites on: April 11, 2018, 03:42:59 PM
I think the best thing you can do is go to https://coinmarketcap.com/ (or others like https://www.coingecko.com/en ) and search for your altcoin there. On the "Markets" tab you'll see the list of exchanges that support your desired altcoin as well as the exchange pair that is supported (e.g. BTC/USD, XRP/BTC etc.).

As a rule of thumb, very few altcoins can be converted directly to FIAT currency (USD, EUR etc.) the majority of altcoins can be bought with BTC or ETH so, that means you need to buy these first and then buy the altcoin you need.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Now you can mine bitcoin from google chrome. Here is how: on: April 11, 2018, 03:31:35 PM
You're not actually mining bitcoin you're actually renting your hashing power for someone to use it how they wish and you're being paid in bitcoin.

I see this is a referral link and you're hoping others will join and make you more BTC but the actual case is that you won't get as many users as you hope. In the end you'll end up paying more for electricity than you will receive in BTC.

My advice for you is to stop wasting your time as soon as possible and read the altcoin mining boards on how you can properly mine something.

685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [CryptoNight] CPU mining guide & coins that will get you a return on: April 11, 2018, 03:09:05 PM
I have added in another coin that is worthwhile for mining with your CPU: CREPCOIN (CREP). This coin will bring you about 27 CREP per day using an average CPU that has an estimated hash rate of about 150h/s Smiley

I would recommend using this pool to mine CREP: crep.miner.rocks

Happy mining Smiley

They will not be converted automatically, as there is no fork, but a new blockchain. On April 24, instructions will be published to exchange their PNKS in PSTAR. Continue to follow us

Thanks a lot for the quick feedback. Will wait for further instruction on how to proceed around that date.

Is there a reason why you guys decided to move to a new blockchain other than the size of it starting to be too big?

You have a lot of posts in mega-threads some are at page 19. This only increases the spam and does not bring value to the forum. Please read the rules again.
On the other hand, I see your English is good, although you're not a native speaker.

I also want to partake in this event, kindly consider my application Thanks. I will be glad if you also leave some comment for my posts.  Grin Grin Grin

691  Other / Meta / Re: [BUG] Insert quote button is missing on: April 10, 2018, 07:46:26 PM
That's strange... I'm using the latest Chrome browser on a Mac and this is what I'm seeing:

EDIT: I have cleared my browser cache and restarted and I do see the "Insert Quote" link now. Smiley
This was extremely strange as it worked fine a few hours ago...  Undecided

Nonetheless, thanks a lot for everyone who helped me out. I appreciate it.
Locking the thread to avoid spam.
692  Other / Meta / [BUG] Insert quote button is missing on: April 10, 2018, 06:58:00 PM
I'm not sure if this is some kind of new limitation for some ranks or something else happened and a bug was introduced, but I cannot see the "Insert Quote" button/link when in edit mode anymore.

This is the possible bug description:

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new post in a thread that has some replies already
2. Look over the previous posts while in edit mode and search for the "Insert Quote" button/link (on the right side)

Expected results:
The "Insert Quote" button/link is present on the right side of the previous replies.

Actual results:
The "Insert Quote" button/link is missing on the right side of the previous replies.

If anyone has any idea on what is going on, please shed some light on this Smiley

You are dedicated in helping others and that's a very good thing Smiley Merited Smiley
You will not have any problems ranking up. Good luck!

You have posted on page 64 of a mega-shit-thread. Do yourself a favour and read the rules again. You will not receive any merit for increasing spam. BTW, there's no need for a quote of the OP.

You are on a good track but still need to improve.
Suggestion: Some of your posts need more time put into them and some are contradictory. Also, you need to better understand the features on this forum to utilise them properly.

You mainly post & create mega-threads... Thus increasing spam... This will not get you any merit... Read the rules again...

Mega-threads... Read the rules again...

Mega-threads... Does anyone see the large red rule on the OP?

You have already received merit here. Let's give others a chance to earn some merit Smiley

You are on a good track and you like to help people, that's always good. Smiley Merited Smiley
Suggestion: Work a bit on your post formatting. Add quotes, paragraphs, lists etc. some of your posts are a bit hard to read.

Is this still running? If Yes I would like to make a try on this. Feel free to leave your comments about my posting capabilities.

Here's a link for my profile. Thanks.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1228706;sa=showPosts

Note: Please disregard my posts that includes my application to some campaigns. Thanks.
Read the rules again. They're simple and the text is large enough.

694  Other / Off-topic / Re: vlad230's post review service - Jr. Member and up [OPEN] on: April 10, 2018, 10:04:57 AM

You are on the right track, I like that you have good logic in your posts and your English is decent. Merited! Smiley You will be a Member once you have enough activity. Congrats Smiley
Suggestion: Improve the formatting of your posts, try to avoid multiple quote cascades, just quote the last person that you are replying to. This way you don't have long quoted posts that people generally avoid to read.

Will continue the reviews later on.

695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [📢📢📢[SWAP!!!]📢📢📢[ANN][CRYPTONIGHT] [粉紅之星] (PINKSTARCOIN) ] on: April 10, 2018, 09:05:28 AM
On April 24th the new version of the coin will be presented, you will have all the information for all you have to do to exchange your coins and will start swapping, you can exchange your coins starting from April 24th 2018 and by June 16th 2018.
I am currently holding my coins in your windows wallet. Do I need to do something to swap my coins on April 24th or will they be converted automatically?
696  Economy / Services / Re: Pretty Addy Giveaway - part 2 on: April 09, 2018, 07:00:46 PM
It's a mistake to just rely on the first few characters of an address to assume the whole address is yours. An advanced copy/paste virus would just give you a vanity address that looks the same at the first (or even last) few addresses.
A vanity address is easier to recognize, but you should still check more than just "1VLAD".
Yes, indeed you do need to check the whole address, but it's definitely better than a standard address, right? Smiley
If you're not going to see your prefix then that's a fast red flag. Wink

That's a cool idea for BTC addresses Smiley This way you could be certain you are providing the correct address when copy/pasting. So, I would say it is good for security reasons too  Wink

I would prefer to have 1VLAD since lower case "L" is not available to be able to get "1Vlad". If this is too complex, I would be fine with other variations.

Prefix: 1VLAD
Public key: 04909A25CC876B4575E05900870704FB372B74D291E57EFA38701A00DFDD24A681B4A3F9A8AEBED 9FEBDA1C2F597BCDD4BCD59D758C2899FF1A378E573737AE552
