681  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time to sell my BTC? on: March 10, 2021, 10:53:44 PM
Everyone has their plans with bitcoin and making a recommendation that can satisfy you I think is not possible. Most bitcoiners are looking to buy more bitcoin and hold. I plan to hold my bitcoin for the future of my 12 and 13 year old nephews.
Although if you want to sell any amount of your bitcoin for any altcoins that offers you some ROI, it is your will.
From what I see of the big investors is that they will not sell. They are buying more bitcoin every day in order to secure the future of bitcoin and their investments.
682  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Many people think that Bitcoin is not a currency with practical uses on: March 10, 2021, 10:09:06 PM
Bitcoin has so many use cases that only people have to put their creativity to work.
Bitcoin is good for charities, store of value, means of payment. Just let people know that "bitcoin is accepted here". If anyone is convinced, they will simply exchange their fiat for bitcoin. The people who talk about bitcoin that it is a bubble and that it will burst, are the same people who do not know anything about bitcoin and refuse to know.
683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a gift cards on: March 10, 2021, 12:54:34 PM
If I received a bitcoin voucher from Cryptonow I would see what would be the most convenient to take advantage of the benefit. If I use it for the purpose that it was created, I am helping to make bitcoin known in my community because the company that issues gift cards does so taking advantage of the bitcoin boom to know the public's response.

I remember that once for a reward campaign that I participated, the administrators offered us Amazon gift cards or tokens as a means of payment and most of the participants chose the tokens.
684  Economy / Economics / Re: Can the world be without poverty on: March 06, 2021, 11:52:40 PM
I don't think so because poverty has been around since ancient times. As you have argued, poverty is born with these nuances: Ignorance, lack of opportunities, also governments fail by not creating sustainable programs for them. Political interests prevail to give priority to the wealthiest class.

In our society, despite this difference, we are all necessary, poor people work in the fields, farms, industries, and their work is valuable as well and complements other high-level business jobs.
685  Economy / Economics / Re: Will New York become a Bitcoin hub on: March 06, 2021, 11:34:00 PM
Mayor Andrew Yang's tweet had a good impact. Everyone wants to help and put their grain of sand. Some mentioned about the repeal of BitLicense as the CEO of Stacks.

Quote
Andrew, first act should be to kill that BitLicense zombie, it's a disgrace for the otherwise flourishing NYC crypto startup ecosystem.

There is another who believes that the mayor of NYC does not have the power to carry out such an idea. However, the majority of the most influential crypto community on Twitter wants to participate.
686  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY ETHIC IN INVESTMENT BANKING on: March 06, 2021, 11:02:06 PM
Ethics is the representation of the truth. It is based on the pillars of wisdom and values.
In banking they must respond to you with these standards as you very well say, banking must demonstrate credibility.
Although we are living in times of crisis, banks try to offer their clients the best services.
I cannot complain about my bank because so far they have answered all my requirements.

With respect to any investment in banking, there must be clear conditions to accept the investment. In fact the investment can be beneficial as the client will return to the renewal of the investment in the best of cases.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Insane Gas Fees on: March 06, 2021, 10:30:14 PM
Perhaps it is best not to move tokens if it is not necessary. I hardly use ether anymore at this time because of the high fees. I have turned to Dash and lately bnb. The fees of the ethereum network are already unsustainable.

There are some new networks that are offering low fees. I intend to sell my ether and buy some altcoins like AVAX. It has low fees and I can make fast transactions, it also has a DEX called Pangolin to play a bit because while I wait for the ethereum fees to go down I will have to wait a long time.

688  Economy / Economics / Re: holding bitcoin from early 2010 till today on: March 06, 2021, 10:10:36 PM
Of course! There should be people who haven't sold their bitcoin since 2010. Like the first bitcoin miners. Although some movements have been seen like this example that is speculated that it is a bitcoin mining whale that has moved 50 bitcoins for the first time on 02/24/21.

Time will show us more events of how bitcoin is consolidated in the nations most interested in technology and cryptocurrencies.
689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Finance Minister on Cryptocoin. on: March 06, 2021, 07:24:38 PM
The response from the Indian community on Twitter was positive. If the Finance Minister in India needs to take a very calibrated position on crypto to regulate it. Indian crypto enthusiasts are eager to wait for the law to allow them to handle their crypto without problems. Anyone would like it and as time is short, the time to act is now. Already other nations are taking a step forward with innovation and India with human and technological potential should target cryptocurrencies as well.
690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Younger Generation and Revolut on: March 06, 2021, 06:34:49 PM
Young people take advantage of downloading the apps that their friends use such as Revolut app. But as we know to buy cryptocurrencies, sell and hold this app is not the best option. Binance and other exchange platforms are joining forces to offer simple apps for users. We just have to invest a little of our time with teenagers to teach them how to invest their first cryptocurrencies.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a Lifeboat on: March 06, 2021, 03:17:54 AM
Bitcoin is a lifesaver for everyone who wants to run away from inflation. Large corporations have realized this after trying all the traditional financial systems. Governments also show wrong policies when they print more money and create survival programs that are not the most effective.
Now bitcoin is driven by large investors who will take it to a good port because they know the advantages of saving their capital with bitcoin.
692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin Failed as Money? on: March 06, 2021, 02:55:02 AM
I stopped spending my bitcoin when I began to notice that the transaction fees were increasing. It has not worried me, in fact it also happened with ether and I also left trading with this coin. Now I use bnb it has cheaper fees to exchange Fiat. If the price of bitcoin stays at ATH that is fine because it is beneficial for the cryptocurrency market.
OP may have to pay for their services online with traditional payment methods to avoid paying high fees.
693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I quit smoking and buy Bitcoin every week on: March 06, 2021, 02:41:17 AM
Congratulations, OP! Your determination to quit smoking for bitcoin is truly inspiring, it even sounds romantic.
There are so many experiences that we can share in our bitcoin world, because it makes us create a culture and lifestyle that makes us identify as bitcoiners.

Because we know how valuable it is in supporting it. If bitcoin gives us the economic solutions that neither the bank nor the government can do for us, that is why we love the freedom we have achieved.
694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Let satoshi talk to us. on: March 06, 2021, 02:09:04 AM
As most think Satoshi will not appear. If anyone wants to know how he thought about the development of bitcoin. Take a look at the threads and comments on the forum that Satoshi created and relive his emotions.

We have a wonderful technology that left us and with what we have achieved so far bitcoin can very well reach the price of 100K.
The future of bitcoin is written, it is here to stay and it is in the stage of recognition all over the world.

695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Nigeria new law on Crypto ban within the country on: March 06, 2021, 01:30:48 AM
If I am understanding correctly. If a person in Nigeria exchanges cryptocurrencies for example on Binance P2P he would have no problems with his bank account. If this is correct, P2P exchanges are a good solution for now. Although I also agree that as soon as possible the situation of cryptocurrencies in Nigeria must be solved.

In another thread OP demonstrated that the case of Nigeria could be reversed in favor that far from harming Nigerians, the adoption or the call to use cryptocurrencies as a solution to economic problems now people would unite more.
696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of the world's financial systems on: March 05, 2021, 09:10:02 PM
Amazing! In addition, Fiat printing and the banking system go hand in hand to exist. I had also heard the same argument that bitcoin consumes a lot of energy and is not eco-friendly. Logically from negative opinions towards bitcoin, we need to share the truth with the world.

Bitcoin is a clean technology that provides real solutions to the current monetary network. As explained by Michael Saylor in this interview.

Quote
Civilization is based on clean energy, clean water, clean communication, & clean money. #Bitcoin provides corporations protection against currency devaluation as well as an option to participate in the explosive growth of the digital monetary network.

697  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The World Without Bitcoin on: March 05, 2021, 06:33:04 PM
There are still people who don't know about bitcoin, so it's like a world without bitcoin. We are privileged to know financial freedom, also those who have been introduced to cryptocurrencies are people who love innovation and are not afraid of technology.
My own experience tells me that people will accept bitcoin and crypto slowly due to complexity. If there were simpler applications, the adoption of bitcoin and crypto would be a given.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment is limited on: March 04, 2021, 11:41:21 PM
I haven't heard of a bitcoin wallet for the blind. At first I thought it did not exist but it does exist. Work began in 2017 to find out the background, follow the link.

He started a campaign in October 2017 to create a braille version of the original Bitcoin white paper. That campaign was successful and the document is now available for anyone wanting to get a copy.

That first success led Newbold to create the IcyWallet. His goal is to provide a 100 percent free and open source bitcoin hardware wallet for the blind. Work is currently underway with early milestones achieved, the progress of which is tracked on their website.

699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How way you choose way to saving Bitcoin ? on: March 04, 2021, 09:59:41 PM
I think this guy wrote in another thread. He is hesitant to save his bitcoin. He probably has 0.01 BTC as his example describes. I was also a beginner and fearful but after learning to access my wallet all my fear disappeared. Now I feel confident in how I handle my bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

This link can help you choose the bitcoin wallet that best suits you. Your bitcoin can be stored in a single wallet, only you must have it in a safe place, together with your private keys to access.

700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How future applications would be !? on: March 04, 2021, 09:28:09 PM
Just as the other members have said. As the future is unpredictable, there is no single vision where blockchain technology can advance. What we can explore is our present and learn how we have progressed.

If we explore the boom that the NFTS has caused we can realize that it is the vehicle to create many things of value. It is like digitizing the real world through an NFT. Artists are turning to this tool to sell their works as well as in sports. Let's read this little snippet to understand the essence of these new digital assets.

Quote
Wilde: There is a secondary market and I know in particular like for NBA Top Shot there is and I believe for this art, there definitely will be. So yeah, you either buy NFT’s because you have some intrinsic emotional attachment to them or you buy it because you think someone else will have that value attached to it and want to buy it from you and that you can make money off of it.

If anyone is interested in creating NFTS. In my search I found Avalabs. There is a tutorial for creating NFTs, it looks like a simple step by step.
