681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which do you prefer, bank or crypto? on: October 22, 2018, 09:00:27 AM
This had been asked a number of times here and my answer is still the same, both crypto and banks can co-exist. There had been other forms of financial instruments like insurance that existed very well with banks and crypto can go the same route as well.
682  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy, what do you think? on: October 22, 2018, 06:44:24 AM
How much, in your opinion, has international relations influenced the world economy and what do you think about it?

Everything is connected today and thus international relations do affect the world economy. I expect that as more and more countries collaborate in terms of trade and eCommerce, the economies will also prosper.

683  Economy / Economics / Re: You missed all the trains, not just bitcoin on: October 22, 2018, 06:43:13 AM
Something that happened in 2017 cannot be termed as recent one in my opinion. If we consider the past 1 year performance of crypto , most of the coins are in loss only. I expect the situation to improve in future but this will take some time. May be next one year to recover completely before we see the old prices.
684  Economy / Economics / Re: If you had 10000$ on: October 21, 2018, 09:39:29 PM
If you had 10000$ where would you invest it?  I'm hoping for 10x in about 2 years, how would you personally split that money? There are so many altcoins that I dont know which to pick, I remember the top 5 altcoins from years ago and  now they are all gone, so should I only invest in  BTC end ETH or others like NEO, ADA and EOS?

If I was at your place, I would have invested only BTC and ETH. This combination is good because if the price of one of the coins falls, other coin will be benefited. Thus, in long run it is very hard to make a loss with this combination.
685  Economy / Economics / Re: Philippines starting to accept and adopt cryptocurrency. on: October 21, 2018, 09:15:40 PM
Cryptocurrency transactions has been on the rise in the philippines.

They are already accepted 5 cryptocurrency company in the country and approximately planning to give license for atleast 25 companies to operate in the philippines.

With the current government administration they are starting to adopt and build even in the technological infrastructure.

In more years to come the country will be more open to blockchain technology like japan and other countries.

This is a good trend. I have heard that there are a lot of freelancers in Philippines. Development of crypto will help these guys as well as it will help them accept payments from clients all over the world anonymously, Thus I am in favor of the development taking place there.
686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC transaction fees is going down. on: October 21, 2018, 09:03:27 PM
The creators of Bitcoin are faced with the important task of reducing transaction fees, otherwise there will be another currency with more favorable conditions.

Popularity of bitcoin is not just because if the amount (in this case how low) of the transaction fees. Actually, it is popular mainly because of the convenience it offers, That is why people are ready to pay premium in comparison to traditional payment options like banks payments.
687  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the best place to live if you are a Bitcoiner? on: October 21, 2018, 08:54:26 PM
Hello,

taxes, regulations, bans - where in the world is the best place for bitcoin users?
Such a place should also have easy access to the Internet, Bitcoin Exchanges, maybe Bitcoin ATMs (that would be nice Smiley ).

Any suggestions? Smiley I want to find out the most Bitcoin friendly country Smiley
Comments are highly welcome.

Best wishes.

Best place would be US in my opinion. I am from a developing country and I can tell for sure that most of the developing countries are not good for bitcoiners. This is because their policies are still unclear and they do not have laws in favor of crypto.

Different types of scams related to money or banks are now happening in same way with bitcoins. Fore this to end, we need to make people more aware of the current scams and money lost bu others. This should also be spread offline in addition to social networking websites.

689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tether Crashes, Bitcoin Rises on: October 15, 2018, 04:29:01 PM
This is a step in a right direction. I hope that the market continues in the same way and bitcoin keeps rising. However,  the people who had invested in Tether will be in loss because of this.

There are other coins whose depreciation can help in improving the condition of bitcoin like ethereum.

690  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to change on: October 08, 2018, 02:35:53 PM
Bitcoin and cryptocurrency  is not only created for money but also for developing our world with new technology. I don't think we should only concentrate on the money aspect but also the benefits we can get from crypto.

But the focus of current investors is only on earning money. All the people want to earn as much as possible and they do not care what changes bitcoin or crypto is doing to the common people.

I am still not leaving all hope and expect the situation to improve as crypto evolves.
691  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: $50,000 LOST TO BITCOIN ATM SCAM IN AUSTRALIA GEORGI GEORGIEV on: October 08, 2018, 02:30:29 PM
Whenever money is involved, there is some space for scam. I hope that the scammers or fraud people are caught by the authorities.

Another problem that I think is very acute in this case is that there is no one telling people how to remain safe from crypto related scam. That is very much needed especially in developing countries.

692  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will survive enemies it has created ?? on: October 06, 2018, 07:13:52 AM
Bitcoin is trying to eliminate US Dollar, Euro (world currencies), banks, gold, silver, anti-government, debit cards and credit cards, anti-tax

How will Bitcoin survive the many enemies it has created by declaring itself a revolution in payment system and decentralization??

I do not think bitcoin has enemies like us dollar.  Both can
exist together and grow. Bitcoin has got many advanthes over others but still there are people in developing countries who would prefer to use cash only.

693  Economy / Economics / Re: What if there is a natural disaster, such as an earthquake? on: October 06, 2018, 05:26:17 AM
we know if a country experiences a natural disaster, the economy will be temporarily paralyzed. because of the many damaged road access and also damaged buildings which caused the economic collapse and of course that made the country's economy go down. my question is, does it have a big effect on crypto state? we know that there is no need for a way to go, and a wide place for incapacity. but when a disaster occurs, it is likely that the signal will be lost and difficult to access. and if the recovery process takes place long after the disaster, how is the condition of Kripro that might occur?

I will be very happy with your opinion

In case a natural disaster occurs, I will be more concerned about the life of people affected than my crypto holdings.

We should not place money above human lifes.
694  Economy / Economics / Re: Mistakes That Make You Poor Poor In Cryptocurrency on: October 06, 2018, 04:32:33 AM
With cryptocurrency, you have to be careful with any fraud and theft. and usually many people who are caught in the losses in the world of crypto is:
1. Not Backup Key
2. Electricity Billing Mining More
3. Lunes In Phishing Sites
4. Buy Coin With Rumors
5. Create a weak password
6. Steal With Stealth ICO

With cryptocurrency, no bank or other institution or regulation will protect you in the event of a loss.

The last point should be first in my opinion.

Most of the people are loosing money only because they are not able to recognize good coins and invest in coins that show tempting offers but have no real life usage or value. As a result, the investors have to face loss on such investments.
695  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Worth To Be Currency? on: October 06, 2018, 04:31:09 AM
Due to the volatility of bitcoin's value as of now it will never be worthy to be a currency. For me personally I find bitcoin more as a store of value rather than use it as a currency for the fees are so high and sometimes slow transactions speed. Maybe few years from now when its value will be more stable then we could say that bitcoin is really worthy to be come a currency and use it in our everyday transactions.

That can be possible in next few years. When most of the coins are mined, the price will get stable as well. This is because most of the people would not like to sell their bitcoins at that time as it will become very precious and get accumulated to limited people only.
696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency wallet is the best? on: October 05, 2018, 02:56:36 PM
This is one of the most informative posts I am reading here in quite some time. I also consider following while choosing a wallet :

1) Fees  being charged on transactions.

2) How easy is the interface.

3) Frequent updates occurring on the wallet or not.
697  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Signature Bounties for Newbies on: October 05, 2018, 02:52:50 PM
There are no signature campaigns for newbies here. Some allow junior members but the pay is low for them as well. I will suggest you to to to first improve the post quality and then you can expect to reach higher rank and become eligible for high paying campaigns.
698  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung: Smartphones are the Most Secure Device When Using Cryptocurrency on: October 05, 2018, 01:47:12 PM
I am using bitcoin wallets on a brand other than Samsung and there had been no security issue so far. In my opinion, all reputed brands keep their mobile updated or free from these kind of security flaws.
699  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your investment strategy? on: October 05, 2018, 01:46:09 PM
Hello all.

The current situation of the market is not so good. I believe that some of you are panic, some are giving up, some holding to die.  Cry

Could you please share with us your current investment strategy so that everybody can learn from your good practices and overcome this tough time?

I am not investing much money now because the legal rules in my country are not that clear currently. I think that with time government here will also realize the importance of crypto and make it completely legal.
700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Organized Crime on: October 05, 2018, 01:43:24 PM
A French security official was arrested last week on charges of selling state secrets on the dark web and accepting bitcoin in return.

https://www.coindesk.com/french-officials-allege-intelligence-agent-sold-state-secrets-for-bitcoin/

Quote
The agent had been working with members of an organized crime group, as well as specialists in economics, according to the report.

Has bitcoin become the preferred payment method of organized crime groups?

These are just exceptions.

Most of the users are common people like you and me. They are investing just because they expect good returns and there is nothing illegal involved with this in my opinion.
