701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Germany Continues Shutting All Unlicensed Bitcoin ATMs on: August 29, 2020, 11:30:38 AM
This is a key to prevent having a bad reputation towards bitcoin.

These unlicensed bitcoin ATMs can be the source of bad information towards the public and it will probably have a huge impact in the economy. German government should be proud of how their authorities act towards this kind of issue regarding cryptocurrency. I just don't understand why people are settling with this kind of illegal investments where they will have nothing but losses in the end.
702  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 shows how weak People are in the it mind on: August 29, 2020, 07:59:28 AM
I am thinking about the mental pressure for millions of people they are going through, not everyone has strong minds and will power to face this huge life crisis I would say because their businesses would have being shut for small and medium enterprises, many would have lost jobs and finding it difficult to survive with their family. How will they overcome is the first step and second would taking this an opportunity and come as a winner from it which would not be an easy job.

Depression are the main problem here during this pandemic, if people are confused on where they will get their money to sustain their needs, they are experiencing anxiety. All of us are scared to death, we don't want to die that's why as soon as possible, we are not going outside to lessen the possibilities of getting the disease from our surroundings. But until when? Some families don't have food on their plate because people don't have a job, businesses are closing and investors are not moving. It is really difficult to find a way, not all of us are skilled, not all of us are perseverant because of our situation. I'm hoping that people and the government should understand how this pandemic can affect someone's mental situation.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's Image Is Getting Stronger by the Minute on: August 29, 2020, 07:29:43 AM
But I wonder how bitcoin will perform when the pandemic is over.

Bitcoin so far is doing great at this point in time, when this pandemic is over it will be even, better people comes to realized and many are now doing it that Bitcoin is a haven for their investment and assets, Cryptocurrency is performing better than all the other assets in the world and one of the first to recover, took only two months to fully recovers, I expect many countries to change their bad perception on Cryptocurrency.

In mid August, bitcoin reached $12k and people are thinking that this is the sign for an another ATH this year. We are being optimistic and waiting for more increase but it didn't went that far because it suddenly go back to $11k. I'm still hoping that ATH will occur this year or in 2021 after this Covid-19 was eliminated and done.

Some people right now are really investing in bitcoin because of its ability to become a good asset when we experienced financial reset. Hopefully, more and more countries will open for cryptocurrency adoption so that bitcoin  community will grow even if we are experiencing this crisis.
704  Economy / Economics / Re: The pros and cons of going cashless on: August 28, 2020, 06:08:04 PM
That's why I hope the government doesn't have plans to eliminate cash entirely.  It's fine if people choose to not use it, but I think it should remain available as an option.

One of the perks of living in a 3rd world country lol. There's just so much poverty that eliminating physical cash entirely is going to take out a huge percentage of the total population out of the economy. 1st world countries like the U.S. are far more likely to go completely cashless.

Not all countries do have that kind of technology and development. Some countries are still struggling on how they will cope up with the development economy and technologically.
Let's accept the fact that there are countries who have a good resources from the start, they have plenty of resources in their territory and now the took advantage of it to grow as a progressive country. Cashless transactions are really less likely to happen if people are used to make transactions in a traditional way.

Digital transactions are new, people are unable to go with the flow, some people are ignorant about that because not all of us do have the same status in life.
705  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anyone else having trouble earning Merit? on: August 28, 2020, 05:30:42 PM
Earning merit is not child's play dude, you got to work harder, think better, spread your discussion above 2 or 3 areas, with reasonable contributions, the moderator's eye are really everywhere for us to get our proper recommendation. It was even easier before 2018 to get merit and new rank, but now it is more demanding.

Earning merits is really a reward for your hardwork, reward for you effort and patience.

You don't need to beg for it, you should work for it. If you think that you deserve it, then never hesitate to do extra every time you make a posts. Make a quality discussion, quality posts, and reliable information that will help each and everyone of us in this forum become updated and knowledgeable about the cryptocurrency industry and the world.

It is not that bad to urge for a merit, but I want you to know that never rush things because it will come to you in the right time.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: UK hospital launches rehab programme for bitcoin addiction on: August 28, 2020, 04:58:44 PM
If they are addicted to bitcoin, does it affect their living? Does it ruin the way they live everyday?

Addiction in bitcoin? Or a solid fan of bitcoin? You will only categorize bitcoin addiction if he use it in the wrong way, if it ruins his life and investments. Being a solid fan of bitcoin is really a good thing because you are an example that bitcoin is really a good store of value and an efficient asset to invest.

I don't think that people are getting addicted to bitcoin, maybe they are getting addicted to the activities that includes bitcoin such as gambling.
707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I gathered every Satoshi Nakamoto thread. on: August 27, 2020, 05:20:05 PM
That's a lot of collection of threads about Satoshi Nakamoto, that's a long readings.

But this is essential so that newbies or beginners do have an idea about how bitcoin was created and what happens in the early stages of bitcoin. This will make you realize what bitcoin have been through before it reaches the mainstream and become the best cryptocurrency since 2009.

Bitcoin is not just a digital currency but it was created for our future, and for its succeeding investors.
708  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I can't wait until I can pay using bitcoin at the supermarket on: August 27, 2020, 02:37:34 PM
This will probably happen sooner or later because bitcoin is already having good reputations in the public.

Hopefully, we can also pay using bitcoin in gaming industry, in buying things that will help us improve our quality of gaming. Nowadays, the number of streamers have a massive increase due to the quarantine. Some people really want to put the use of cryptocurrency in gaming so that they will also adopt and know that bitcoin is complex and flexible.
709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Laws of Bitcoin on: August 27, 2020, 10:05:46 AM
Quote
1. Never Discuss Your Bitcoin - Don’t ever disclose the amount of Bitcoin you
have with anyone. Ever.

Privacy and being humble is important as a bitcoin user.

You should not let other people know your situation and state in bitcoin, you should not boast about it. You can teach them and influence them so that they also know how bitcoin can affect someone positively. Also, being private with your asset can help you prevent being scammed and hacked. Bitcoin is not easy to earn, it is not instant, so as much as possible, do your best to hold it properly.

This is what I'm concern about that's why i replied in this part.

I'm glad that this is number 1 on the list.
710  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want to help all people on: August 26, 2020, 06:57:26 PM
It is really hard to teach bitcoin if they had a lot of limits in their countries.

If bitcoin is not that fully allowed in their place, then you will have a hard time to achieve bitcoin adoption. If you really want to help people, and you care about the future of bitcoin, try to help other people not only in your country. You can give them an idea about how bitcoin works in the market, but you should also consider a lot of factors such as the laws, issues, economy class, and etc.

Things shouldn't be rushed, you should study and plan it in order for your goal to be reached.
711  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy over health on: August 26, 2020, 05:44:39 PM
It is impossible to stop the spreading virus, if they closed borders in the Jan itself then it could be a right decision but closing the borders doesn't make sense when they need funds to help their revival of economy which is more important that health to be honest in the view of government. So if people don't want to lose their lives then they have to stop doing such activities.

Virus are unstoppable once the government and its people are underestimating its ability to kill people and spread immediately.

That's why government are still having a hard time to recover, they can't reopen businesses, transactions, and travelling of goods due to the risk of Covid-19. But if the thing is really necessary, they should do it carefully while following precautionary measures. I know that life is hard if we live like this, but I want you to understand that this is just temporary. We will surely go back to normal and we will surpass this trials.

Just prioritize your health before anything else.
712  Economy / Economics / Re: I have discovered Something about covid 19 on: August 26, 2020, 02:27:24 PM
Overpopulation is indeed a very big problem. China is not really in a good shape neither. I can guarantee you that you wouldn't want to live in China. Have you heard of their social credit system? You might wanna check that out. China is so fucked up.

I'm not that knowledgeable about that Social Credit System but I will spend some time to read about it.

And it is true that even if China is the number 1 manufacturer of those PPEs that is being used to fight the Covid-19, they are still having some struggles in their economy. But to be frank, they have the power and ability to control their economy because they are a business-minded community.

713  Economy / Economics / Re: What Role Will Crypto Play During ‘The Great Reset?’ on: August 25, 2020, 04:43:04 PM
Crypto can be our hope towards sustainability of our necessities to survive. It is not that easy to earn cryptocurrency if you are scared and ignorant about it but this is the way for you to become still during the Great Reset. This crypto can be our aspiration during dark times, so trust crypto on what can it do to your life especially during struggles. It is really beneficial if you know how to utilize, control, and store it. As long as you're doing your best to manipulate it properly you will probably have some funds while you are staying at home following the rules and regulation during this pandemic. Just do a research and then invest.
714  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: License to Sell Bitcoin in Person as Oppose To Online Exchange? on: August 25, 2020, 03:32:03 PM
It is really a struggle if your country has a strict law regarding btc transactions.

Selling bitcoin without license is really not a problem, the only problem that we are experiencing are those governments who are not allowing btc transactions to operate freely. There are still countries who are against the utilization of cryptocurrency in their community. Online exchanges has regulators while P2P transactions don't have it.
715  Other / Off-topic / Re: Please tell me how to start income from youtube ? on: August 24, 2020, 04:17:41 PM
Based on what I know about it, correct me if im wrong.

You need to have achieve a certain number of subscriber and watch hours in order for your channel to become monetized by Youtube. In order to do that, you need to make a content that viewers will like, a content where you are not violating any rules and regulation in Youtube. I knew a lot of people who are working so hard just to earn money from making contents in Youtube.

Build yourself, exert full effort, patience, and dedication on what you are doing because probably it will pays off soon.
716  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Virtual/Practice Trading on: August 23, 2020, 02:11:05 PM
Bitfinex offers an account with fictional money so that you can operate, in fact almost all exchanges have that function, but I recommend that you choose those exchanges that you can operate that have take profit and stop loss at the same time.

I tried practicing trading in that platform Bitfinex and it is good as features are really for beginners. Try to use trading simulators so that you will have any idea how trading works in the market. But for me, always use a trading exchange that you are comfortable with so that you will not experience and struggle while trading. Trading exchanges are profitable depending on your control so as soon as possible, find an exchange that will make you understand how stop-loss works.
717  Economy / Economics / Re: The number of jobless people has crossed one million in US - worrying sign? on: August 23, 2020, 01:25:41 PM
Loss of jobs can really worsen the economy, how?

Due to unemployment, people will not have any budget to buy their necessities during this pandemic and that will affect the market.

If people doesn't have money to spend, then the demand for those goods will decrease. The economy will struggle so hard if unemployment continues to occur, but what can we do if the health and lives of our people are at risk when they go outside just to work for themselves. Health is the most important thing in life so as soon as possible we should prioritize it and take care of it.

But famine will also be the next problem with unemployment.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you lost money on Bitcoin you either bought in the red or you didn't hodl on: August 23, 2020, 12:55:00 PM
The transition from gold to bitcoin is not always the case for any one on what they prefer coz these two are very different. No matter what generation you are from, if you want your money to be safe you will just go with gold. If you are brave enough for your money, you are going to inject it in the market in form of bitcoin and just watch what will happen in time.

Gold is not for people who want to earn a profit immediately, because gold is for a long term investments and most of the investors knew that, so i consider Gold as a safer asset than bitcoin. But the another difference is that, bitcoin can give you much larger profit when its price suddenly goes up due to its volatility in the market.

Bitcoin should be manipulated depending on the market situation which is really important so that it will become more profitable for you. You should really deal with the risks in order to make your investments worth it.
719  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to DYOR in investing on: August 22, 2020, 04:54:57 PM
Simply look for the things that you don't understand in investments. By that, you can widen your perception towards things that will help you have a good quality of trading in the market.

It is not that hard to seek for information that you can use as a tool for learning. I'm really a fan of self-study and self-learning because it can make you independent about the things that you can use in your surroundings. Don't always rely on the things which are already in your mind, don't be contented with that, always look for more knowledge.
720  Economy / Economics / Re: Your economic outlook and your life for 2021 poll on: August 22, 2020, 02:10:39 PM
COVID-19 has destroyed many small business, with the bigger businesses taking their share of the economic pie. I believe many people lost jobs, but some are doing OK.

Curious, as Bitcoiners, how did the COVID-19 pandemic affect your financial situation, and what is your outlook for 2021?

My business do not have any movement and I experienced getting bankrupt so I partially closed my businesses as there is still a pandemic going on. It is really hard to deal with this kind of situation, you need to work, you need to have money to sustain your needs and this pandemic really make people's lives struggle.

I think in 2021, it will still somehow stay the same. Vaccine are not instantly proven effective because it might have a side effect within 5 to 10 years from now.

So it is not guaranteed that everything will go back to normal next year 2021.
