701  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: April 26, 2021, 08:31:24 PM
Prbably. On some first youtube review of another gambling site here, I remember that Hhampuz  allowed a user even though he is not a member at that time. As what I remember, his review is a very good review, and he has a voice that are preferred for this kind of promotion. Moreover, if I'm right, I believe he was given some merits by other users on that thread so he will become a member and be eligible.

I have also witnessed Hhampuz allowing great talent to grow further and there is nothing wrong with it I guess. If the team wants quality and Hhampuz already knows the previous works of a member (not rank) with lower rank who has got better talent than even high rank members don't have, then he will allow that member to participate and showcase their talent.

I don't think there is any gender inequality on this forum, so you can post freely on whichever part of the forum you want to, as long as your post is on topic. Nobody will report your posts then and if they will, your posts will only get deleted but no negative trust for what you say in the gambling thread. 703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: April 26, 2021, 07:44:28 PM
It was 0.025BTC, and now it's down to 0.005BTC. No more 0.5BTC payout dream  Sad

I *really* wish I jumped on the last blackjack, as it's not super surprising that they ended up reducing the max bet.

BTC0.105 is still a very handsome payout for just BTC0.005 bet.  Grin
But yeah, I can feel the craze about these blackjack bets and I think SB might have faced great loss after the last win by so many gamblers who gambled with max bet so it was obvious for them to reduce the max bet, as now size of the bet does matter.  Wink
704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 26, 2021, 07:35:59 PM
That's a very good strategy but a little bit complicated for typical gamblers, you are doing a 2 in 1.. win-win on both situation, gambling and trading.. For me, it's not anymore necessary as it might take time before I can withdraw the funds if I would just wait until the price will rise, gambling purpose is just to win, if we can minimize the fees, then better but if I say withdraw, that means cashing it out right away.

It is not a necessity anyway to keep the coins on gambling site and wait till price rise as you can withdraw whenever you want. But I put emphasis on withdrawing it in fiat and when we sell for fiat, I think we should get something extra as perks. So if I know that I am in a bull run and I don't need the funds on hand, I will wait longer to reap more benefits with the bull run.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The problem is that it could take again many years to recover on: April 26, 2021, 07:17:51 PM
Depends on the target price, if you are expecting a $60k from this drop, I guess it will take more than hours to recover, probably months or years, we never know but what we have to do now is to monitor the market and make the right decision.  We are currently witnessing a drop again, either we hold or convert our btc to stable coin to be a little safer, then accumulate at a more cheaper price.

Traders tend to be very oversmart by not selling their btc and just hodling it ( this is not about hodlers). To better trade these opportunities, selling during the dips and wait for a better entry is a good sign of making more profits than sitting with our coins. There are support areas where enough liquidity is available for which, bears sell their btc to remove the stops of those areas. I learnt this through a trader who taught us how to look for liquidity areas and decide if the trend will continue or it will reverse.

Congrats to everyone who won!! Also ended up missing today from waking up way too late - didn't think it would cost me a 0.5BTC payout today  Undecided
Hopefully the bet offer still continues and I can hit the next one  Cheesy

You were going to bet BTC0.024 ($1250) on this game? You are a whale gambler I never knew. We hope you win huge by landing your money on a winning game.

LFC_Bitcoin and buwaytress, congratulations to both of you for hitting this blackjack. You guys were really lucky, I will make sure I will not miss out this next time. What is the maximum bet I can make of this bet type?

707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io "Soccer Blackjack" @ 21.00 odds on: April 25, 2021, 10:17:05 PM
Good luck. May the gods of 21 hit today.

It finally hits BJ  Smiley what a perfect time to miss this. I think I have been missing this alot though  Undecided

Goals : 4
Cards : 2
Corners : 15

Exactly 21 ! After 40 matches, it finally hits 21. So far the records are 34 push, 5 busts and 1 Blackjack !

<<>>

Wow, even I missed it today, my bad I did not visit the thread nor the site before the betting time as I was sleeping. And what a record, 34 pushes means there were no big losses and even if a player gambled same value bets on all these games, just 1 BJ win would cover all those 5 losses which it did. Really amazing!
Congratulations from my side as well who managed to play this bet. Wink
708  Economy / Economics / Re: Are institutional investors capable of selling their bitcoins? on: April 25, 2021, 10:00:33 PM
I'm not quoting anybody here but a question: Who crashed btc? Was it your 'small group of buyers that became whales' to move btc more than 7% in a day?

Hedging against inflation? Do you think traders give a fuck to the technology btc holds? Do most traders even understand what bitcoin mining is? What a miner is? All they need is quick money overnight and since institutions have joined this space, exchanges have used a very 'decent' way of making all the traders a fool by increasing the fee too much that no trader even thinks of moving their btc out of the exchange which either motivates that trader to hold their btc on the exchange and may even lose it by trading there (their choice) in spot or futures if the trader is a noob, or demotivates an enthusiast who wants to explore the beauty of how it all works, how btc moves from one wallet to another. This is only why btc is increasing in price because it's stored on exchanges and not in the hands of an average investor any more.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eth Berlin Upgrade and Gambling on: April 25, 2021, 09:27:13 PM
<<>>

That certain update did really make some significant impact towards high gas fees and when i do check out https://etherscan.io/gastracker it is playing around
$1 - 3 maximum which is great.

For those ETH enthusiast out there then this is really a big improvement or news for us to make use of ETH once again in terms of transactions.

Yes the berlin upgrade has brought a significant change in the fees because I was required to pay more than $13-$20 per transaction and it came down to $1-$4 which is much better than older days. As Eth crashed a bit and may crash more, I would wait and buy more lower and then gamble it on my favorite Eth-only casinos, and will sell it when it goes back high in price.
710  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Have Caused Bitcoin to Flash Crash On Sunday? on: April 25, 2021, 09:13:16 PM
So it is about the weekend dumps that I have always seen btc dumping a bit on Sundays but now I see it below 48k which is not good and if it goes more down to liquidate longs that were in the trades since $45k, btc has more chances of dipping back to $20k once before it goes up again as there is too much negativity about the taxes that will be levied on Americans and I heard that the pandemic situation is not good there at all, so all this is in combined breaking btc through a flash crash even now. 47k is the key area looking to be a very strong support for btc that the buyers don't let it be touched by bears. I hope btc continues its rise and does not end the show in a 2018 flash crash way.
711  Economy / Economics / Are institutional investors capable of selling their bitcoins? on: April 25, 2021, 08:30:39 PM
https://bitcointreasuries.org

Please visit the link above first before reading anything here.

After visiting there, all of you can see that how institutional investors are 'blindly' collecting bitcoins and adding more and more btc to their treasuries. I am too much curious and confused to understand how they will manage to sell all of their btc if some day a big dump arrives, or if their investors start to take out their investments and ask them to sell the btc and pay them. For an institution to pull out their btc from their wallets and sell, there needs to be an institution or a very big whale on the other hand to buy all that and they will also need that much big liquidity for the same.

Now, a very common logic, which institution would like to buy btc at $100k or even at million dollars when the seller institution is already taking out big profits in fiat by selling their btc to the buyer Institution? Won't that btc be coming with an impermanent loss if the price dumps later? Do you think there is any point where a stagnancy of liquidity or financial crunch may affect the price of btc so badly that it can reverse down like it did in the 2018 crash?
712  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin do the same scenario in 2018 ? on: April 25, 2021, 08:19:31 PM
I think you have a logic behind your 2018 scenario fear, but wait!
Price rose too fast? What? In 2017, btc was only $3500 and it rose till $20k which is about 6 times while it did the same this year as the price went from $10k to $65k. What was fast here? The correction will not be as quick as it was in 2018 and 2019, because now Institutional investors are plunging into the markets.
713  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [banned mixer] - Is Really Good Bitcoin Mixer on: April 25, 2021, 07:50:27 PM
And I thought it was Chipmixer (oh I forgot might be, it is not just good, but the best crypto mixer online).
Op, are you one of the representatives of cryptomixer or is that your website? And where are the 'prooflinks' for their reserves in Op?
714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLDING VS TAKING PROFITS DURING BULL RUN on: April 25, 2021, 07:43:27 PM
Old bull run has taught me that sticking to your investment is foolish because we need to hold it and wait for the next opportunity to strike in. What could have happened if this bull run didn't come? The losses would be considered as permanent losses and these markets would have become more compressed in volume and liquidity because of no trust. I did not sell some of my investments in 2018 bull run and after that crash, held them till now but there are yet some coins which must increase in price. It taught me not to keep my investments 'forever' with me and sell out some parts at times when I think that the market may start its sinking process.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 25 arrested after Rab busts mini casino in Ashulia!! on: April 25, 2021, 07:12:37 PM
There's an alternative to continue if you can't stop the urgency of gambling.

Playing online is one of the best option though the fan sn't the same playing alongside of fellow gamblers but much better than risking
yourself being exposed, aside from those task force that will chase you the pandemic also adds the threat playing with bounch of people
around.

It doesn't add up the threat of playing with many people around, but if a casino busts with so many people inside, the first charges that could be levied on them will be of 'trying to spread Coronavirus' even if none of them have the virus because the pandemic has taken so terrible form that nobody is ready to listen and will ask the addicted people to leave their addiction during the pandemic. Playing online also saves the gambler from going outside and also adding more threat not to his life alone but even putting his family's life at risk.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eth Berlin Upgrade and Gambling on: April 25, 2021, 06:58:43 PM
I am very happy to see lower fees back again on Ethereum gas network and will try my luck to play with it on some casinos and win some, because I think that the price of Eth will increase too quick that it will even surpass the speed of btc. I have been observing the markets and Eth looks a good bet to trade and gamble with.
717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dubai's Government and Gambling on: April 25, 2021, 06:35:36 PM
Thank you for giving such important information. A friend's son went to Dubai on tourist visa and is actually there for a job. He's too addicted to gambling that wherever he sees a casino, he starts betting (my friend is rich so...). His son was in Europe some time ago but is now in Dubai, I will warn him about this and ask him that if he wants to gamble, he can use online gambling sites instead of gambling on an illegal casino in a hotel there.
718  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Gate.io scam? Seeking advice on: April 24, 2021, 08:38:17 PM
What I understand is that they are doing this so that people can not request any withdrawal but this is very unethical business conduct. At this point I am in doubt if this is a scam attempt or buying time.
Then they should disable the deposits of that particular altcoin instead like what other exchanges do, they even announced such update. I really think that this is one of their way to take their users funds and telling that its your fault to send amount when blabla.

On the other hand, Op must have checked from their end if gate.io has a particular RBTC pair available for trading or what. Try to be in talks with them Op, don't leave the issue as it is because exchanges will not update you often about it, it is you now who should knock them once every few days to get to know when they will allow the withdrawal.
719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC price VS gambling on: April 24, 2021, 08:30:32 PM
Honestly I really don't feel the price because most casinos I use peg account balances in USD,so when I choose to deposit $50 I get ~$49 or so which doesn't make a difference at the time of a surge or crash as price always remains what it was when you deposit.

I also use Betnomi for that sometimes, but I play more at Stake because of variety of altcoins available to deposit and withdraw at less fees and I play there when I get dips to buy altcoins cheap. While gambling, I take care of the bets I make and calculate its worth in USD to keep my bankroll under control and after winning 2x which is my goal, I withdraw it on exchange and wait for the price to increase, then sell it. Win on both sides.
720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Transactions Fees x Gambling on: April 19, 2021, 09:35:14 PM
Seriously?  0.0008 usd is equivalent to 45 usd, that's just crazy, I have never encounter that kind of huge fee using electrum.

I always select the Mempol when making a transaction, way better that you can adjust, not the "ETA" as I guess it's automatic.

Equivalent now is 10 usd if I'll send all my balance worth  55 usd. imagine, 20% fee.  Grin

We can also choose our own fee rate to pay in electrum and also use some accelerators to lower the fees problem, I saw some good guys accelerating transactions for free in the 'Services' area. I would suggest cabalism to choose a better gambling website, for eg.; Stake where they can deposit in various cryptocurrencies and some of them are very cheap in regards to paying fees for withdrawals.
