701  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy - Good But Needs Big Improvement on: December 26, 2013, 06:24:46 AM
That is what trading is called, People are free to bet there price who knows it could go up and could go down.
There is some restrision in some coins for volume thats fine.

Sorry that's not what I meant - of course people can put in a price they want, that's not the issue. The issue comes when they offer to buy 0.023 ANC for xxxx BTC - this order is too small and should be banned - they are only doing this to try swing the market in the direction they want. I'm only saying we need minimum orders. Say $10 minimum order would eradicate this practice.
702  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy - Good But Needs Big Improvement on: December 26, 2013, 06:22:21 AM
I'm not worried I just don't think people should be allowed to put an order in for an infinitesimal amount to try and swing the market.

0.1 ANC is worth a tiny amount - no one can seriously want to change this for BTC - what's the point.

I'm only saying there should be minimum order amounts.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Slovenia: No Capital Gains Tax on Bitcoin on: December 26, 2013, 06:15:06 AM
That's a good start, now we need the same response from a few more countries!
704  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptsy - Good But Needs Big Improvement on: December 26, 2013, 06:00:32 AM
Even worse some knob rot has placed an order for 0.0000001 ANC trying to increase the price.

Markets should be allowed to move freely without people trying to affect them.

We need minimum order volumes on Cryptsy!
705  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Cryptsy - Good But Needs Big Improvement on: December 26, 2013, 05:57:48 AM
I trade daily on Cryptsy, while I don't have some of the issues reported by some I believe there should be a minimum trade order in place to avoid idiots trying to manipulate the market. Right now I see an order for 0.1 ANC in place just above serious orders - this should not be allowed.

I think there should be an order minimum equivalent to at least $10 otherwise it is open to serious spamming abuse.

I know it's not likely to charge but come on it's ridiculous!

That being said, be careful with BTC-e lots of people claiming to have issues with this site - money going missing and other things of that nature.
714  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to trade at btc-e? on: December 26, 2013, 04:22:44 AM
A buy limit order allows you to put in a price you are willing to pay for a particular item and if the price reaches that point then the order will execute.

A limit order is an order to buy a particular item at a specific price or better.
715  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who here gave Bitcoins as a present for Christmas? on: December 26, 2013, 04:19:00 AM
I sent a few friends paper wallets in the post. Hoping they're going to take it using BTC!
716  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: The next real game changer? on: December 26, 2013, 04:16:58 AM
Everyone has different opinions about the best alt currency.

I have done a fair bit of research and think Anoncoin is the way forward. Unobtanium as well.

I could be wrong though!
717  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy bit coins? on: December 26, 2013, 03:04:43 AM
Problem with Bitstamp is that for people that live in countries where you don't get utility bills sent in your name it's neigh on impossible to get verified. I would avoid Bitstamp like the plague - really unhelpful and absurd verification procedure.
718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which clients still allow zero-fee transactions? on: December 26, 2013, 02:39:51 AM
Why do you want to send without fees?

Fees are so tiny and it allows before a better community!!!
719  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Program for watching bitcoin price... on: December 26, 2013, 02:37:30 AM
A program like that would be really useful.

Not sure if there is one currently in existence if any one knows let us know!
