701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did you arrange a meet up or make a gathering with local bitcoin community? on: October 10, 2019, 11:48:21 PM
I wonder with many people now know bitcoin as a new trend in many countries, did you arrange a meetup or make a gathering with local bitcoin community? I think that will give a chance to spread bitcoin in your city, and you can ask other people to join you to use bitcoin or other coins. What they reaction if they read or see a slogan of Bitcoin?

Haven't tried that, however I have been invited by an investment group here in our country which focuses on mining investment. What I didn't like about their approach is their wrong point of view on crypto and they are inviting people who are not related to crypto to invest in them, telling that they will earn passive income through mining and bitcoin price will constantly increase, etc. I wish there are groups of people who would share useable and legitimate information about crypto and it's potential to people without an intent to make money through them.
702  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop Worrying about the Bitcoin Price on: October 10, 2019, 11:03:13 PM
If you believe the potential of bitcoin in a long-term view the current price will not worry you. When I first got into bitcoin I thought it was an easy way to get quick cash. There were even times that I look at the price from time to time and it was not healthy and it is very stressful, it consumed a lot of my time. But then, I learned to believe in bitcoin and it's potential long term. Now, I invest whenever I find the price cheap and intend to hold it because I see bitcoin as a long-term currency and it will be adopted and used by the mass in the future.
703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Fiat currencies still exist or be replaced by Crypto Currencies? on: October 10, 2019, 12:50:55 PM
Fiat is still important, cryptocurrency can be an alternative but it is not suitable to completely replace fiat. In cases where crypto is regulated, it is impossible to use crypto as an alternative to cash, that is why fiat is important.
704  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cryptocurrency is better than fiat currency? on: October 10, 2019, 12:20:22 PM
I have to say that both fiat and cryptocurrency has both advantage and disadvantages. Crypto os not yet globally accepted worldwide as an alternate medium of exchange, in some countries it takes a lot of process and fees, not to mention regulation that limits other users from transactig or even cashing out their crypto. Crypto being irreversible has both an advantage and disadvantage, once a transaction is done there is no way for you to reverse it unlike in banks. So as for now I would say each of them plays an important role.
705  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Most Redundant Topic In This Forum on: October 10, 2019, 09:48:34 AM
There are users here that are focused on the priçe movement of crypto, and there is a certain board for bitcoin price speculation. So, I think it isnnot redundant at all, there are over thousands of users here and we cannot avoid some people having the same thought and creating almost similar topic. Only a few number of people in this forum sees crypto as a technology majority sees crypto as an investment tool.
706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Bitcoin more worth than other cryptocurrencies that have better specs? on: October 10, 2019, 09:18:20 AM
It is simply because bitcoin is the first cryptocurrency that became successful and used as an internet currency. It was the first digital currency widely accepted by people and not to mention the amount of money and opportunity it had brought to people, especially to those early investor of bitcoin.
707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first on: October 10, 2019, 07:37:42 AM
Everytime there are coins that are being advertise we get excited
we make rumors and lots of noise without knowing it forst hand
we are just excited about the bounty , and sharing links to others
to make lots of refferal and bonus
but at the end of the campaign after we found out its a bust we then release are sentiments toward it, how it fails and the campaign
I think we should understand that everything are not perfect and we should be willing to move on after it , instead of wasting time and hate over the project this should be what we should do

Most bounty hunters don't do their research before joining any campaigns. We should take note that when we join a campaign we devote our time and effort promoting a project. Take time reqding through the project, it would save you time and that way it would lessen the exposure of scam projects.
708  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Judge a Book By Its Cover on: October 10, 2019, 07:14:04 AM
The problem is, not all investors are doing their research before investing. That is why most projects with real use case and a good product lack support. Investors today are more into profit than the real product or service of the altcoin.
709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Plays YoPony on Yobit? on: October 10, 2019, 03:03:58 AM
I have been seeing YoPony on the website since I joined the campaign. Now I know the reason why the chat box is being bombarded by chats during the event. Grin . Might as well try the game once for fun. Having such games in a trading site is good so that traders can relax and look forward to an event from time to time.
710  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank Crisis Hits India, Many Accounts Wiped Out, People Left With Nothing on: October 10, 2019, 02:21:20 AM
One the reasons why banks are avoided by some people most fraud acts or stealing in banks comes way inside from the management it self. There had been a lot of issues within banks even in our country where some remittances or even funds from personal accounts of their depositors are being credited without them knowing and what is crazy about this bank employees would even show  that withdrawals had been signed that is why no disute can be done or the most common one would be banks delaying tactics where they would say they would investigate about it. Do not trust banks with your funds.
711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: October 10, 2019, 01:35:39 AM
Cryptocurrency in some countries are now being used as an alternate medium of exchange. Even some famous stores and merchants are accepting crypto as payment. In the near future, cryptocurrency might be fully accepted by the mass and it can be used anywhere, like paying your utilities, buying goods, fuel, paying your loan and even other services.
712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin holding will be worth this year or in the long run? on: October 10, 2019, 12:53:20 AM
If you are investing for a long term, the prices this year would mot matter. Most investors are accumulating bitcoin and waiting for every dip in the market to buy chunks of bitcoin. Once the bull market starts those who patiently and took advantage of the bear market will gain a lot of money due to their patience. So, I guess the best thing to do for now is to accumulate as much as you can while the prices are cheap.
713  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy now or wait for Bitcoin? on: October 10, 2019, 12:21:16 AM
If it is intended for a long term hold, I think waiting for another fall such as the same with the beginning of the year would just cost you an opportunity of buying cheap. No one here can give you the best advice since no one knows if what price will bitcoin be at the lowest. Just follow your own principle when investing.
714  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Creating a gambling platform, follow the journey on: October 09, 2019, 11:48:35 PM
I like the idea of being a mobile ready platform and the ethereum based currency at first due to the fee when depositing and withdrawing funds. I hope there would be an update about this and I would be willing to test the platform once it is ready for test and/or operating. Good luck on the platform.
715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling risk is higher when we are on Bear Market? on: October 09, 2019, 11:16:12 PM
What's your thought about this?

I have a scenario for this topic:

John bought Bitcoins when at the price of $18,000 and decided it to HODL.
But after he bought some Bitcoin, the price is starting to decrease, from $18,000 to $10,000 and to $4,000.
So,he already lost his money for almost 50% and he decided to gamble his Bitcoins;

Here's the thing, if you are John and start to gamble, would you bet with high risk (betting with huge amount, betting in low chance of winning, etc)?

Since if it was me, I already lost a lot when I even bought those Bitcoins at $18,000 so the best thing I can do is to gamble it and earn more bitcoins to decrease my loss or breakeven it.

What can you say about this? Or maybe you already experienced this.

You are betting an amount of bitcoin which you already had since the bull market. For me as long as you haven't cashed out your bitcoin you are not losing anythig yet. You might see it as a loss if you will look at it at the current fiat value. However, since the bitcoin price is down, you will have to bet more bitcoin to gain more fiat value as a reward and I will agree that would put you in more risk.

One of the reasons why I think gambling activities are lesser when the price is down.
716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: October 09, 2019, 10:14:12 PM
I never knew that even politics is betted on in a betting platform. This seems to be easier to speculate than betting in a sports event since you can easily gauge who has better chance of winning depending on how people support a center candidate.
717  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Unicef now accepting donations through bitcoin and ether on: October 09, 2019, 05:55:12 PM
Use of cryptocurrencies allows children’s agency to bypass fees of moving cash overseas quickly and increase financial transparency.

Read more about it by clicking here.

It is great that crypto can be used to transfer funds that is allocated to help needy people. It is better because they can save more money due to cheaper fees and faster transaction through cryptocurrency. I also see some people who are doing their own charity through crypto it is like hitting two birds with one stone, helpig others at the same time an exposure for crypto.
718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crowded Casinos - Play or not? on: October 09, 2019, 12:13:48 PM
I prefer playing with just a little crowd when gambling. If there are too much people in a casino it is hard to focus and even enjoy what you are doing. Especially if you are playing poker, you can focus more on the game if the there is just a few spectators around the table or no spectators at all.
719  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why lots of people got scam easily on: October 09, 2019, 11:36:01 AM
I agree, a lot of people enter the crypto market because of either FOMO or their desire to earn a lot of money. They don't know, lack of knowledge about the market can get you scammed or even lose your money. It is better to understand about crypto forst before getting your self involved to it. Most people who gets scammed are newbies.
720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why promoting scam project After confirm? on: October 09, 2019, 04:36:35 AM
Most bounty hunters do not spend time doing their research or checking the project and the team's credibility before joining or promoting a project. Some would just join if they see the minimum post per week, the amount of bounty pool, or even the one who manages it. Take note that you will spend your time promoting for a month or two and wasting it getting coins from a scam project.
