721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: May 29, 2019, 11:15:24 PM
I am interested in opinions about borrowing in cryptocurrency.
If a cryptocurrency will have low price volatility, then would you borrow in that token?

If not please tell why?
I would never dare to borrow in cryptocurrency simply because of the high volatility of the market, if you look back at this forum there were people who loaned some huge amount in bitcoin when the price was really low and he took it for the long period and during that time the price has risen to a level that was never expected and hence the lender has to change the terms in order to accommodate that but if he was adamant he would have being doomed in that situation, i will gladly accept the loan in a stable coin and not in any other crypto.
722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallet hacking is it possible? on: May 29, 2019, 10:57:46 PM
I have two sad experiences when I lose my money, even now I dont know for sure how hackers stole from my wallets, after that I bought ledger and still dont feel safety, but much better, I dont hear about hacked ledgers!
If you are using the hardware wallet in an infected computer then you might be in risk, make sure that you have proper security measure before accessing your wallets and make sure you use them on public networks as the risk of data leakage is really high, if you are storing the coins and you own the private key, these measures will help you secure your coins.
723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Hits $270: $300 Next? on: May 29, 2019, 10:48:46 PM
I think now Ethereum can reach such a level , bitcoin is on a bullish trend , and Ethereum is clearly aiming to build higher , I think there is a good chance to take Ethereum yet , I suppose the next stop could be around 450$
It all depends upon how the market will behave and looking at the strong trend it is a real possibility that it could reach $300 in the next few trading days if the market keeps on moving higher, but there will be a point when the market cools down after a rally like this and there is no way to find out when that will be, it could happen in the next few days and if that happens we need to wait for a few weeks to see those valuation.
724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Tron? on: May 29, 2019, 10:12:34 PM
Tron actually got a good potential but the developers and the advertising is very weak and the project seem a little dead to me, but I still got a high hope for Tron, it ever reached top ten and I think it will back in the future if the developers are serious in developing this coin
I think you are not following their development, they purchased bittorrent which was one of the oldest P2P sharing software and the plans they are having is actually great by integrating P2P streaming service on top that the network and start a niche service that could even rival other platforms, they have the funds for doing those things and they will be implementing their service in a timely manner and that is when the price explodes.
725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: May 29, 2019, 09:16:38 PM
To make regulation on crypto certainly not easy, I prefer to make regulations on exchanges because by making strict regulations, there are no more exchanges that close like cryptopia.
Whether you like it or not there will be regulations in the future, since this is a new market the regulators are taking their time to frame a law and you will see that coming up in the near future, there must be strict rules and regulations for every exchange as you could avoid loosing your hard earned money because of hacks as they will be forced to compensate or the entire funds will be insured if there is regulation.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does gambling sites needs to be a mobile friendly or not? on: May 29, 2019, 08:38:15 PM
afaik this is industry standard, If am not mistaken most sites are compatible for both mobile and pc and if this was not available to all platforms then the betting company lose out on gaining more customers.
Not all the gambling sites are mobile friendly but you can play as usual through the browser but the user experience wont be that great like you play in your laptop, but if the site makes an effort to make things easier for their customers and come up with a mobile friendly version then it will be a great thing in the long run.
727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BTC getting too expensive to gamble with on: May 29, 2019, 07:31:06 PM
I think doge is the best coin to play dice, because it's fast at transaction and easy to deposit or withdraw. Also the price is stable too.
Doge coin is the best coin out there to gamble when the price of bitcoin starts its rally and now a days almost all of the major gambling sites allow doge coin but none of the sports book have doge coin which is a real bummer, we need doge coin in sports book too so that people can gamble without using bitcoin and the price is really high to gamble with it.
728  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Satoshi Line Up, Pick from most likey to least likely. on: May 29, 2019, 06:25:29 PM
Just because someone has satoshi`s keys does not mean they are satoshi.
If that is the case what do you suggest how someone could prove that he is Satoshi, if someone can move the coins from the early blocks and can sign a message from the genesis block he will be known as Satoshi, you can have any other narrative of your own regarding that but majority of the people will believe that only the creator can have those cryptographic keys, if you claim that someone could have stolen those, then there is nothing more to argue as these debates keep on coming  Tongue. You cannot convince everyone all the time and that will be the narrative.
729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How I turned $50k into $500k on: May 29, 2019, 02:05:45 PM
I like simplicity so this thread is going to be simple as that:

I've bought small and quality projects that don't give a f*ck about marketing before product and wait. That's it! Getting rich is that easy. Buy small and quality projects and wait. Patience is the most important thing.

If you are a small investor and want to be a big fish, my suggestions:
If you have a title claiming how you turned $50 K to $500 K, you must elaborate on how you made that kind of profit and in which coins you invested rather than promoting some shit projects here, if you have any plans to showcase what projects made you the profit as you claim, i would like to see that and you can edit your front page and show how much you invested in what project and how it turned into $500 K and at what time you cashed out and that is what we want to hear rather than your advice on potential shit projects.
730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will the roller coaster repeat? on: May 29, 2019, 01:38:42 PM
If this $10,000 level break we can assume a new all time high since last year its always try to break this level but bearish trend is too strong that result hard fall, but I believe that history repeat its self bitcoin price is always unpredictable but the chart  show a strong momentum for bull flag.
The bulls eye (run) can be broken anytime  Cheesy , there is a report out there that someone moved 66,000 BTC after four years of inactivity, does that sound any bells, yes the manipulation game will start now since the market was showing a good movement till now, we were expecting something to derail that and it is the first signs to create panic in the market. The market will move higher irrespective of these manipulative moves in the future, but these things can have an impact in the short term.
731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Most Promising Altcoins to Invest in 2019 on: May 29, 2019, 12:55:58 PM
I think the best altcoins in 2019 is Binance coin, all eyes were on Binance, after becoming a coin now the price had reached $ 33, especially many IEO concept projects in Binance so that prices would continue to rise
I will not trust the exchange in the first place and the coin is created for the exchange alone and i really think that the price hike is because of the manipulation from the binance team and to cover the loss they had from the hack, even if they show a poker face on the amount of money they lost, it is a huge sum of amount, so i will hold back from binance coin, the coin i would invest is Tron and other potential penny coins which has potential.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now is the time to invest into alt coin on: May 29, 2019, 12:07:44 PM
The sign of the increase has occurred since April, I'm sure the trend of 2019 will skyrocket again, of course the factor that makes the market rise again is the many IEO projects that have proven effective in making investors return to crypto.
If you think that IEO projects are the reason for the investors to be back in the market then it will die down really fast, when ICO started we had the same scenario, all the projects were collecting millions of dollars but none of them lasted and the investors who did not cash out when those coins peaked, became a bag holder and many lost a lot of money and that will be the case with IEO projects too in a short period of time.
If you are investing in top alt coins then you will end up in a profit when the bitcoin market rises.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you always invest in top ranked coins? on: May 29, 2019, 11:26:59 AM
actually it doesn't need to be that high, when the trade is still being carried out, and the demand for these coins is still there and continues to grow that will keep the coins in the market. because actually this market only needs efforts from developers to continue to update as an effort to maintain market demand continues to be high.
If the project is stalled then you will not see much trading as investors will dump the coin in the exchanges and more over these projects will be removed from exchanges from time to time if there is no improvement and we have seen that in the past and majority of the projects closed their offices when the market went down, so the validity of the project is directly related to the trading volume.
734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: how do you choose Altcoin .. ?? on: May 29, 2019, 10:55:35 AM
Altcoin which is good for investment is certainly the fastest and biggest profit. I think the benchmark is the altcoin trading volume. So the larger the volume of transactions means the money in circulation is greater and the potential for increase is faster than coins with small transaction volumes.
Not every alt coins are a good opportunity to make money, the selection process is important when you are investing your money and trading volume you see in coin market cap are almost fake and do not take that as the sole volume analysis method.

Then analyze the altcoin in the top 10 because those in the top 10 are altcoins that have the highest prices, meaning that the value contained is greater than the other altcoins.
Top coins in the market place is a good place to start and you can find good projects that have a good team behind it and if you invest in those tokens you might end up in a profit in the long run once they become fully functional. Cardano, TRON and IOTA are promising projects that could give you a good profit in the future.
735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoin growth too slow? on: May 29, 2019, 10:25:10 AM
Just in the market there is no significant influx of new money. In this case, when the price of bitcoin rises, the price of altcoins will fall. When the prices of BTC attract a lot of new money to the market, the altcoins will stand and/or rise. But which of these altcoins will survive?
The top ten coins in the market will always rise with the price of bitcoin and we have seen that even in the present rally as the price of all the alts moved up along with bitcoin, if the price of bitcoin starts a huge rally like we saw in the past, we might see people selling off their alt coins just to enter the bitcoin rally and if that happens, the price of alt coins will move down while the price of bitcoin moves up.
736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum will reach $ 2500 on: May 29, 2019, 09:39:03 AM
I predict and hope ethereum can hit more than $ 500 may be more next month if bitcoin price more than $9000 or stable at this support price..
It is highly unlikely to cross $500 when the price of bitcoin hits $9k, the price of ETH has to double in valuation to reach $500 as the price right now is around $267 but in the long run it is possible that we could see those valuation when the market moves higher, i really do not see any special rally in ETH alone during this period but it will move higher according to the rise in bitcoin market.
737  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is someone really behind the Bitcoin SV pump? on: May 29, 2019, 08:53:59 AM
Personally...IMO this does look a bit coincidental... I think 99% agree there was someone behind it but I've heard as many names as there are Bitcoin SV supporters so....

Is there someone behind the SV pump? And do you think it'll fly?
The real reason for the pump is because of the drama created by Craig Wright and his copyright filing of the bitcoin white paper and that is the reason the price pumped for Bitcoin SV in the past few days and possibility it will keep on moving higher in the future and it all depends upon what kind of drama they will be coming up in the future. Investors will jump into anything if they think that they can earn some profit and that is what we see in the price rise too.
738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook shitty coin. Facebook selling information of their customers on: May 29, 2019, 07:02:53 AM
Of course, data confidentiality should come first for any company. But what do we see in reality? Mobile operators sell databases, sometimes it seems that even banks spread information about the contact information of their users. If Facebook adapts cryptocurrency payments, it will only help its rating. There previously were much info that Facebook confidentiality = zero, everyone can buy user's password, what r we gonna see if they launch crypto payment?
Privacy is a dream if you are using these services and even if facebook or any corporate come up with their own centralized cryptocurrency, the security and privacy they offer is just a mirage, if you use them then they will come to know everything about your financial transactions and they will have your complete data including your personal and financial details which is highly contagious.
739  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com | The Most Popular Bitcoin Casino | V2 & New games out now! 👽 on: May 29, 2019, 05:08:28 AM
Quicker than Usain Bolt?
Yes, we have increased our game speed by 30%!
👌 Trust me, you can feel the difference - head onto Stake and try all of our 12 games now! 🙋
That is a good caption to come up with, quicker than Usain Bolt  Cheesy , good to see that the site is improving day by day and not like some other sites who cap the speed if there are more users in the site  Tongue Grin.

Been playing mines yesterday with auto bet and noticed that its really fast as of normal from my previous betting games. I will also try other games later.
Is there any video tutorials on how to play the game, the only games i am familiar with is dice and roulette but i wanted to try the rest of the games that are available in the site, no clue on how to play those.
740  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SSD vs HDD: what it means for Bitcoin scaling? on: May 29, 2019, 04:05:08 AM
I think that any ideas of potential hard forks for increasing blocksize (they resurface every time fees get high) should be forgotten for the next 10 years, until we figure the amount of storage an average user can dedicate to running a full node.
This is the most debatable topic for a very long time, just imagine the amount of money we have to spent for the mining hardware if you are running a mining farm and you think it will be a big hurdle to spend $70 for a 2 TB HDD and $130 for a 1 TB SSD  Roll Eyes, what ever gives the best solution must be implemented for the general welfare of  the network. The hard disk price is not the big issue here which is stopping us from scaling, there are other issues which have to be looked at.
