721  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [WorldMiners.Biz] has anyone used this? on: January 10, 2017, 04:18:56 AM
Just by the name alone screams scam. Most of these hyip sites have .biz at the end of their site name which is the domain that it is from.
You will finds alot of these type of scamming websites just from that. And if they are offering 10% interest on your bitcoin after you send them you know that is a complete scam because they are not sustainable to even run for one week without running out of funds and by the time they do that they will definitely run before then with all investors money.
Final lesson from this: Do not put any money or bitcoins into these type of sites.
You will be sorry in the end.
722  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Unable to add checking account to Coinbase on: January 10, 2017, 03:11:31 AM
You need to be in the states I believe if you want to have this option available to your account.
I don't think they allow anybody outside the states to do this on your account.
I don't know I don't have one but know this from what I hear from reading other threads in the past about their service.
723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts for Bitcoin in 2017? on: January 10, 2017, 12:37:24 AM
This is going to be the breakout year for it. All the pieces are in place starting with the standing ovation that it has gotten from the world media making headlines when it broke the $1000 barrier and stayed there even if it was for 5 days. But it still did make it more well known to the ones that weren't paying attention to it just because of past events that tainted it's name to many in the public eye.
724  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Money laundering via BTC on: January 10, 2017, 12:29:46 AM
Wouldn't think that it could easily be done since you need to transfer bitcoin in fiat which is not an easy task.
Most if not all services ask for i.d after you register an account with them and then request to do a transfer to a card of credit so you can use it to withdraw cash or fiat by an atm machine.
There are not alot of places that allow you to do this but there are a few still left and if you can they do have limits in place so you can not do what you are asking about. I think laundering money is considered if it is more than $1000 and most services allow you to do under that amount without having to give them i.d.
I could be wrong because there are alot of companies popping up every week that allow people to do this now.
725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Utilize Your Bitcoins on: January 09, 2017, 11:59:26 PM
Having some bitcoin available to invest is always easy. You need some to be able to trade with.
So the best thing that you can do is save whatever little that you can get from doing tasks or from faucets even. It will build up fast and soon you will be surprised when you find 1 whole bitcoin in your wallet.
It happened to me! Grin
726  Economy / Speculation / Re: China SOLELY drives the price of BTC up- true untrue? on: January 09, 2017, 11:36:52 PM
I do think China does dictate how the price of bitcoin falls. Either to the left or the right which to me is a sad thing for the holders of bitcoin in general because do we not in China have any say in the price?
I would think that only the whale do that are not on that side of the red iron curtain.
727  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [WTS] VERIFIED PAYPAL ACCOUNT AGED, NO LIMITS, NO 21 DAY HOLD on: January 09, 2017, 11:28:53 PM
The Country is AU / NZ?
It looks to be a Australian account from the AUD he stated was the needed amount to be below that limit of 1000AUD.
New zealand is NZD. Just thought that would be a dead give away for that being stated in the sale.
It's just kind of strange that he said to login using a US VPN/VPS or proxy (if possible). Undecided
728  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there difference between Bitcoin and liberty reserve? on: January 09, 2017, 11:21:27 PM
I do remember liberty reserve but never used them because I never did trust in what they were toting themselves as.
And I also remember when there was another payment option at that time but they rebranded themselves and are now called Payza.

You can see the statement here from them:
Alertpay is now Payza. A new company that was formed and even better than ever. This statement was on the Alertpay blog: (blog.alertpay.com)

On May 14, 2012, the AlertPay platform will be transitioned automatically and seamlessly to Payza. What does that mean for you? Business as usual! You can access your money and use it the same way you always have. All of your information stays the same:

The same account (with your money in it)!
The same personal, business and financial information!
The same login and password!

Payza will also be bringing online payment processing to countries that have never had access to such services as receiving convenient and affordable international payments and localized banking transactions. Under the Payza brand, existing AlertPay customers will be able to send and receive money around the world, and will now have even more options to transact globally.

It also appears they are again accepting Visa and Mastercard payments (no official announcement on that yet though).

Thank you

So at times these companies do change hands and try to continue on their businesses or they just exit out of it with paying their customers or just exit with out paying anyone. The latter is what LR did which is a shame.
729  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE CASINO - 100BTC MAX WIN, WAGERING CONTEST! 1ST PRIZE 1 BTC ENDS JAN 2ND on: January 09, 2017, 10:23:33 PM
Many games are coming. The next one to be released will be Blackjack and if all goes well it should come out in January (but it can be pushed back a bit depending on how busy the admin is).
More games will also help make the games more fun and allows for greater diversity when planing the events Smiley

Didnt you guys actually offer blackjack in the previous version of bitdice and If I recall correctly , it was personally funded by bitdice itself ? it should not really need more tweak for the code at this point and I think that it should come out sooner than our expectation.

Any hint will we be able to invest in the blackjack or will it be funded by bitdice again?

The backend of BlackJack is mostly done, design is being worked on.
The new version of blackjack will have investing enabled and same goes for most of the new games that are yet to be implemented. Investors can choose which games they invest in from the investing menu under their accounts.

That seems to be a good news, at this point it will be great if there is a roulette game. Not that I prefer them however in term of investing, we do know that the house edge of blackjack is much lower compared with dice or roulette therefore it is actually much better to invest in a game that has higher house edge

p.s I do prefer blackjack if Im playing though
I would really like a roulette game put in as one of the available games to play.
I do like blackjack so if that would be an option too then I give my vote on that one to be added.
730  Economy / Speculation / Re: What has affected the price of Bitcoin? on: January 09, 2017, 10:20:03 PM
The bitcoin price has been affected by a buyin by a lot of people these days, I think that their was a pump and dump.
I was thinking the same thing but that is the right conclusion to come up with when it comes to the price increase.
The media started to push it's stories and headlines *after* the price rose past $1000 per bitcoin. So this mass infux of people becoming aware of it and then buying some could not have created this pump in price.
The dump is because of the possible speculation on how it will continue to perform at this level and that was shown in the dump and then the decrease in price.
And that usually is at a bigger level then the increase. So that the level where we stand today.
731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Russia ? Not really on: January 09, 2017, 04:05:38 AM
Russian-based sports gym chain NanoFitness has announced it will begin accepting Bitcoin as payment for membership and related services.
This actually happened a few days ago and they announced it on their VK page : https://vk.com/wall-117861517_674 and you can also read an article about it from Bitcoinist : http://bitcoinist.com/russia-gym-accepting-bitcoin/

IMO They've already unbanned bitcoin.
http://www.businessinsider.com/russia-changes-its-mind-on-bitcoin-ban-2016-9?IR=T&r=US&IR=T

Russian has an opportunity be a friendly country for bitcoin soon.  Cheesy
I don't think when they say that Russia has banned bitcoin means that everywhere in Russia has banned it.
It is the largest country in the world so their are regions in it that has accepted it and some that do not.
I would say that is safe to assume. Since we are not in Russia and can not say how thinks work there.
732  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 09, 2017, 04:03:09 AM
It did drop some more but $30 last time I checked. It is the completely opposite way it was last week.
Could it drop to $800 by morning? Undecided
This is not very assuring if you have accumulated somewhat of a good amount in the past month.
733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin banned in Russia ? Not really on: January 08, 2017, 07:07:49 PM
I would like to think with the current price increase it will dramatically start to have these countries and their stern view on bitcoin become to accept it instead of turn away from it.
This is a step in the right direction for the world wide acceptance of it and I have seen numerous news headlines just like this one all over the world starting to give rise to it's worldwide acceptance and encouraged value to each one's economy.
734  Economy / Services / Re: BitDice Casino Signature Campaign [WILL START 1 DECEMBER] on: January 06, 2017, 12:27:56 PM
Sure hope we get paid today because btc has been doing some crazy things lately. I mean some off the chart stuff and having it held for any amount of time after we expect it to be sent is money lost for some. Embarrassed
Just to let you know that is all. Wink
735  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [H]$50 Paypal [W] BTC, on: January 04, 2017, 03:53:33 PM
Is your paypal verified?
Can you prove it with a screen shot and a selfie of you holding i.d with the same name on the paypal account?
If you can then message me. I can do $10 for now.
First of all if you want people to post their pictures you should also do the same, we don't know you or what you will do with the information, if you don't trust the person selling the paypal don't trade with them, stop making unreasonable requests from people and claim your the better person, what you ask from someone you should also be willing to provide equal information. who asks someone for their documents for a mislay $10?
You say all that yet you scammed someone out of their bitcoin in a trade! Roll Eyes
Way to be a two faced fraud idiot. Tongue
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1737779.0

I think more fraudsters like this one will become more prevalent whenever the price of bitcoin gets this high.
736  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use a Bitcoin debit card? on: January 04, 2017, 04:52:03 AM
Not yet but I have been looking at my options. Undecided
It is a tough decision to make because of the fees that they charge for you to load it, to withdraw from it and even for the amount that you have to hold on it without having to incur a service fee.
To know which one to choose from, it is a bit daunting to say the least. Embarrassed
737  Economy / Speculation / Re: We just hit $1055 on Gdax on: January 04, 2017, 04:49:53 AM
I would like to think this is the news that everybody here would like to be hearing because as we know that is when the slow down in price happens in the cold of February so this news of a possible approval of the ETF would be welcoming news for sure.
I have been waiting for nearly a year to be able to invest into it and now knowing that it might come with in the next 2 month's is exciting news.
738  Economy / Goods / Re: 0.04 BTC Need phone number to verify my Paypal account on: January 04, 2017, 03:20:43 AM
I would be interested in doing this for you but only if they can be received from a virtual phone number.
Send me the information and if you can send this amount to escrow so I know I will be paid once I give you the sms text code.
739  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Be careful! E-Coin/WirexApp may be turning to a scam on: January 04, 2017, 03:19:48 AM
So does the service still operational?
I haven't heard from the people who were having problems with not being able to withdraw to their cards.
Any update would be appreciated because I am currently looking for a bitcoin card but that I know that is reliable when I need it.
740  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam report on user Jagrapolite5 on: January 04, 2017, 03:05:31 AM
I have seen this name mentioned in the currency exchange threads for the last three weeks even before Christmas. Why hasn't he been tagged yet so to not let them scam anymore people here from their bitcoin?  Huh

Ok Zepher I see you have put a negative on them now.
