1701  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: INVEST YOUR BITCOIN - 105% RETURN EVERY DAY on: January 02, 2016, 02:58:16 AM
All the proofs should be in the thread itself when u started it, now it's useless, since everyone is having a hard time believing in you.

I'm waiting until someone at least tries it with a micro amount, then people will realize it is not a scam.

Until then, I can offer no proof that I return, since I have no one to return money to!
Isn't this how it always works? Let someone who doesn't think much about losing micro amount to them could be a lot of coin to others. Then wait to see if it pays. While in the meantime if you join in too late the whole site could be gone before you ROI from it then losing your whole roll of coins that you earned for the whole year.
1702  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can not replace fiat on: January 02, 2016, 02:45:55 AM
It honestly won't happen this year or the next. For that to happen:
Every country would have to be on board and agree to how much they can each have.
Just look how well that ended up in Europe when the Euro was introduced in 2002  Roll Eyes
Greece screwed that up for everyone of those countries for a long time to come.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: January 02, 2016, 02:43:06 AM
Faucet have revamped themselves in recent months too me anyways.
I always thought you can not make anything doing them as I was right at that time.
But now I have found 4 faucets that give 2000 satoshis every claim in a 8 hour block.
Having them go to faucetbox does bother me as I can set the threshold of went to release them to my wallet.
Faucets to me are cool again.   Wink
1704  Economy / Speculation / Re: We all know huobi volume is faked, but what is this??? on: January 02, 2016, 02:37:19 AM
Chinese whales these days  Cheesy
My sediments exactly. I don't believe in what I read now a days on the website. They seem to be all hyping bitcoin for a major up heveal in the price. Just wait for it will happen by mid next week only if no major bad news comes into till then.
1705  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 02, 2016, 02:34:51 AM
Changing a variable from 1MB to 2MB or 20MB is not "work" per se. It's a few bytes of code change.
How can that even classify as some kind of serious work.

The value is not in the "work" per se. The value is in the result.
Words of wisdom that I have heard all year, congrats on that  Cheesy
Value is measured by the work put in as I like to point out. But that is not what we are striving here at this time. It is uncertain where it will go as of now.
1706  Economy / Economics / Re: #panicselling is so 1995 on: January 02, 2016, 02:01:50 AM
Bitcoin can be and whatever we want it to be. It is literally in our hands how it comes to take over the economic world. What we do with it and how we mold it into, right here, right now.
Prosperous new year of the bitcoin one and all!
1707  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin (shitcoin) is dying on: January 02, 2016, 01:59:39 AM
bitcoin is shitcoin that is the biggest joke I have heard all year. And it being the first day of the year, I wouldn't take it too seriously.
Alternate coins to me are the stinkers here. Bitcoin is king  Grin
1708  Economy / Auctions / Re: Potential Hero Member Auction - Starting from 0.01 BTC on: January 02, 2016, 01:57:36 AM
When was the account created month and year and are there any feedback trusted or untrusted?
I would be interested but those two factors are not allowing me to place a bid until I can get a defining answer about both. Pm me if you don't want to discuss those publically due to exposing the account information.
1709  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to invest my BTC on: January 02, 2016, 01:54:47 AM
Invest it into an exchange like btc-e or bitfinex. Those are stable enough as of now.
Don't put into any sites promoted here in the investor based game threads. Nobody makes any substantial amount of profit there except for the Ponzi scheme owners  Cheesy
1710  Economy / Speculation / Re: $2k in january on: January 02, 2016, 01:52:23 AM
No way that will happen. Even saying $600 by end of the month sounds too good to be true.
It has been just going up and down and settling right back down to $433 since boxing day and the two biggest days of the year didn't even budge the price by any significant amount.
1711  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much had you lost with bitcoin and before it?Did you won? on: January 02, 2016, 01:49:57 AM
I lost only $30 in it since I started with investment programs that promised to double your coins. I know never trust them again. Then lost $20 from a turd that I bought using perfect money and never sent the coins. Typical scenario if you don't know what you are doing when exchanging.
I think everybody has gone through these growing pains when getting into bitcoin at least once.
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do people around you think about Bitcoin ? on: January 02, 2016, 01:47:08 AM
Talking to family about it over the holiday dinner table, they still can not make heads or tails out of them.
You try and explain and you just get a blank stare and then after you are finished trying to explain what they are and how they work, you just get an agreeable nod. Like saying "Great!" next conversation  Cheesy
1713  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: I sent bitcoins to my watch only electrum wallet. on: January 02, 2016, 01:44:31 AM
I'm new to buying bitcoins and transferring them. So basically i bought some bitcoins from LocalBitcoins then sent them to my watch only electrum wallet. My BTC balance on electrum says i've got nothing. Does this mean i have lost my BTC forever? Blockchain is showing that they was sent to 2 addresses. I'm sorry if i don't make much sense. I'm very new to this stuff.

A watch-only wallet means that you cannot control the Bitcoins.
This means, you technically no longer own the Bitcoins. If you can contact the owner of the wallet to try and get your Bitcoins then that may work.

If you have ownership of that wallet or the private keys, you are fine!
What is the point of having a watch-only wallet? If it doesn't allow you to do what you want with the bitcoins that you have sent to it? It seems it is acting just as a black hole if you send to it they won't be found ever again.
1714  Economy / Services / Re: Who can do it for $2 worth of Btc? on: January 02, 2016, 01:39:18 AM
I urgently need to buy a domain.I have added the domain to my cart but since I dont have PayPal or Credit card,I cant buy it.The price of a domain is 14.99 $ if anyone can buy it for me,I will pay him 17 $ in btc.
I am ready to escrow funds when someone agree to do this
It will take just 10 mins of your time as domain is in my cart I will give you my login details.Logo to my account and pay for domain
Would you like for me to do this for you?
But the only thing is won't they look at the information and see that the payer information does not match the customers information once you register the domain in your name?
I haven't purchased a domain before but that would be a logic question to ask before doing this for you.
1715  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another 10% Cut Incoming on: January 02, 2016, 01:27:12 AM
400 is the new 200
I can see this becoming a trend. It sucks but what can you do if you have been holding for so long  Huh
I just hope it can go beyond this phase soon. Just need to wait until the next big news headline about bitcoin.
1716  Economy / Economics / Re: China Has a Trick up Its Sleeve on: January 02, 2016, 01:25:03 AM
soo soooo buy litecoin?

i would not be surprised if they are the one behind the litecoin pump too, and because of this i'm expecting the same thign for bitcoin when the halving come

Yes there was a Litecoin ponzi scheme in 2015.
I remember price shot up to $8 I believe and then got dumped.
There was also a video around somewhere which was leaked. I think somewhere in the chinese subforum.

Here an article I've found.
http://www.dailytradingprofits.com/4669/was-litecoin-pumped-by-a-chinese-ponzi-scheme/

Quote
It has recently come to light that a Chinese marketing company has been recruiting Chinese investors into a litecoin “cloud mining” ponzi scheme. The scheme had a price tag of 500 litecoins to enter and promised high returns of passive income.

This is the address of the ponzi scheme, which shows that it had a total of over 9 million LTC valued at around $40 million dollars. There are only 40,694,504 litecoins in existence, which means that this scheme managed to accumulate 22% of all litecoins!

The buying pressure came from over 10,000 Chinese investors which definitely explains why the price shot up so quickly. It could be that the litecoin block reward halving was just an excuse to sell this pump to people.

litecoin is much easier to manipulate. if the same guys will also try to do the same with bitcoin, then they probably can get the price up by $50-$100 at most. which is still a great increase. i only don't like that the price gets dumped down afterwards. these kind of price increases are not what most people are looking for.
This is very true. Since I was into litecoin it was $2 and decreasing. Now I check and it has almost doubled since I started receiving them 8 months ago. Something driving up the price since I always thought it was in conjuction of what bitcoin was doing but since bitcoin has not doubled in the last year something else is causing this rise in price.
1717  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG bullish indicator as we enter 2016... on: January 02, 2016, 01:16:01 AM
1000 is not impossible in ky book
It is not impossible but it will take years to get there unless some big event happens to have this happening.
Then it will rise and continue to rise to the moon some say. But this is my pure speculation of course.
1718  Economy / Speculation / Re: BIG bullish indicator as we enter 2016... on: January 02, 2016, 12:03:41 AM
Bulls will aways be bulls... so their bullish ways is no surprise coming into 2016.
I just want to see the price rise a bit more so we can see movement quick so we can move this coin to it's potential value for the prosperous value that it deserves.
1719  Economy / Speculation / Re: Another 10% Cut Incoming on: January 01, 2016, 11:06:09 PM
That is how this price thing is played. Someone says one thing then it gets the movement going it that hear say reaches enough that they all sell or god forbid the whales  Shocked
I have seen this happen a few times already in the last few months.
1720  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Easyest way to buy bitcoin for random mainstream people on: January 01, 2016, 11:02:16 PM
If you identify yourself (ID card etc.) coinbase is very easy and fast. I just linked my bank account and could transfer money and buy bitcoins very easily.
Ugh, Coinbase is horrible.  They'll close your account for almost nothing, and forget about staying anonymous.  Plus I do believe there's still a delay in getting your bitcoins after you put in a buy order.  You could do wesellcrypto.com, but their markup is incredible.
Just found out their exchange if you want to transfer your bitcoin back to fiat is quite high compared to any others listed. Can anyone verify this? I didn't think they were as high as using virvox or circle.
Cheers to all if they can help demystify this assumption for us.
