721  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does lottery rewards expire? on: November 02, 2023, 09:38:18 PM
I don't even need to have any formal consultation on that... From my experiences over time, it does.. I mean, that's not supposed to be unlimited is it?... Even the winnings on casino Houses are forfeited should you not claim them on time...I think it's basically 7days apart.
So for lottery, it all depends on the casino in question and the people involved innit.. cashiers are always entitled to funds like that atimes.

Sandra 🧑‍🦰
If there is a rule about the time given until it can be claimed by the winners, then claiming it after the said timeframe is denied. In fact, in our country, the rules are written on the back side of the lottery ticket where we can read the rules for claiming the prize and must be followed otherwise, it is forfeited. I think it is necessary to have an idea about the things we do, at least we have an idea of what we gonna do in case of winning the big prize. Because many things happen that some people don't value the ticket, they even put it everywhere and miss it.
722  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whether Bitcoin ETFs are approved or not, we expect bullish trend on: November 02, 2023, 11:53:26 AM
I expect Bitcoin to go properly bullish (as in, gain value really fast, leading up to a new ATH along the way) one year from now. That's based purely on analysis of previous bullish markets, but it's dubious and can be interpreted in different ways, I realize that. A sudden ETF approval may speed up the process and boost the price, although I don't think it would be enough to drive the market all the way to the new ATH. Another ETF rejection would likely have some negative impact, but I think it would only be temporary and fairly mild. So I don't think it's a big deal.

as we have seen thru the years of this market, we can never be sure when will we see this new ATH. combination of various factors will influence the path for this new price level.
now, when it comes to btc ETF, it may have slight influence but it doesn't really give a high rally in the price.
Certainly never know when it comes but most of us believe in a 4-year cycle where we are expecting another ATH. Not this year, not next year but we are expecting it by 2025. Maybe I can be wrong and maybe my assumptions are right which is why I don't think about ATH because it was too early. The price increase of Bitcoin is still temporary, probably someday we experience another drop, and the price stuck.
People are spreading rumors about ETF approval but it never has a huge impact on the market price that is why I don't make it a reason to see a bullish market when the halving is not yet happened.
723  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you use multiple platforms for betting? on: November 02, 2023, 11:15:55 AM
The strategy of funding accounts on multiple bookmakers is known to be used by people that want to catch the best odds when betting on sports for example. Sometimes people will monitor multiple platforms and bet when the odds allow then for a safe win. However, I am not sure if this strategy would be worth attempting when doing crypto-based betting on the sports books that offer it.
And these gamblers will soon get tired of monitoring their bets on different platforms and then finally make a decision to choose only (or maybe 2). Because I couldn't really imagine how it was a good idea when the odds are just have little different. And considering the fees in different platforms, in the end, we are just paying more instead of saving.
Quote
What are your thoughts on this? When you bet with crypto do you find it easier or harder to fund multiple accounts? Because I am getting a sense that crypto bettors are more compelled to shop around a lot more, but only until they find a bookmakers that fits their needs, and then they will hardly move any funds to other platforms. Surely thete must be some reasons behind this or even some very different takes. What are your thoughts?
IMO, this is not a good idea and it never helps us to gain a chance of winning.
Instead, we focus on the platform where we think it can be trusted and the odds are fair. Those who practice this strategy will soon realize that they are stressing themselves.
724  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much could you earn in a day ? on: November 02, 2023, 06:12:48 AM
You cant really just place up some money then just wait for it to grow or make some money or profit on which this isnt the market works or behaves.
This don't work in trading but in investing, this is actually what it is. Like you place money and invest in Bitcoin and wait until the price grows.
So with the same quantity, the value differs whether it goes up or down but mostly for Bitcoin we know how it works.
But since it's all about trading, yes, it doesn't work this way but if you find it easier to be an investor. Don't expect a daily profit from it.
Due to the volatility of the market, it was hard to say and assume that this would be the amount to earn daily.
if I would say that I earn $100 every day, I'm sure nobody would be able to believe and that is because there is no consistent earning in trading. If we earn $100 today, we can't assume that we still be earning the same again and again.
All of these changes depend on the following;
 - market momentum
 - capital
 - strategies
725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this how it start? (No or yes?) on: November 02, 2023, 05:37:23 AM
...
why I am surprised is because I haven't funded into my betting account twise in a day after losing done money, so am I becoming an addict? No.
Not yet but if you keep doing this, it will lead to that situation. Now, you better think about what is good for you and what will be the impact of being alone...If I were you, as early as possible you must know how to control your gambling habit, don't wait to fall into addiction. Of course, you can still gamble as it was not harmful to us but be sure that you set limits. What goes wrong is if we gamble too much and compromise our finances but if we are still able to manage it, well, it is just fun and entertainment.
726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: November 01, 2023, 09:44:53 PM
I see a lot of people here talking about gambling responsibly. Yes, that is something very true, but have you ever been a gambling addict?

I am going to admit that I'd fall into gambling badly but not to the point that I become addicted and maybe because I was able to stop such kind of temptation and are able to control my emotion. I could really say that most of the time we commit mistakes first before we realize that we are wrong and then become responsible gamblers. Because if we let our emotions dictate our actions, the more possibility that we fall into addiction. That is why I would say newcomers must think about the reason why they are gambling because if they think about making money here, the more chances of failure.
727  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Positive thoughts and attitude towards Bitcoin. on: November 01, 2023, 09:24:08 PM
Many people think that investing in bitcoin can never be successful if you don't take too much risk. Bitcoin has a good future even though there are risks one must think positively because the negative will make everything worse those who keep faith and move forward are successful. Bitcoin has gained popularity since its inception but there is no need to despair as the demand and supply will increase which will increase the value of bitcoin several times. Professional investors never think bad thoughts they know how to overcome risk and rise above. Bitcoin is a very valuable asset and holding until the price increases is the right decision.
In that case, they better ignore Bitcoin because this investment is just for those who trust and think about the bright future. Investing is too risky which means that only those who can afford to take it and understand how it works will remain while the rest may stay away. In fact, we aren't forced to do that but it is our choice, so it is very understandable that before we invest we are already aware of the possibilities that may happen to our money/investment.
Trust really matters and the more we think positively, the more we gain confidence and succeed.
728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin looking like sleeping gigant in this bull run season on: November 01, 2023, 08:53:20 PM
Ltc looking like sleeping gigant the price is Under 100$ definately cheap now people mis buy ltc because no body dont want miss the opportunity some experts Even say that LTC can Do 300% gain from here.
i think it's LTC time now in this crypto bull run season
Many investors are still hopeful about this project. Of course, it still has the capability to rise during bull season but we can't expect much from it like being too bullish as before. Due to huge market competition, it seems that Litecoin has been out of sight by most newcomers which makes this coin hard to grow at this time and we know that this is a big factor that could help to raise its price. There is a need for the developers and marketing team to work on attracting more users and investors just to change the current momentum and have a bigger chance to grow its demand.
729  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can it be real bull or just a temptation. on: November 01, 2023, 01:38:15 PM
I feel that the recent bullish moment is just a temptation to increase the hype in the market, in the next few weeks the price of bitcoin will definitely move stably and sideways, it's not yet time for bitcoin to pass its ATH but I'm sure before this year ends, the price of bitcoin will pass $40k. Bitcoin is a very volatile asset and market sentiment really influences its price, so don't ever think twice about Bitcoin when the market is bearish or bullish.
We have to examine the details of the causes of the increase rather than just talking speculation without sources, even though your assumption is just a temptation but the fact is that Bitcoin remains at the current price of $34k, the price should fall below $32k if your assumption is correct, every market increase is definitely support causing the market was at a high recovery rate before the bullish period. My prediction is that the market will reach $50k by the end of this year as the very close halving period will trigger a high market increase next year.
At the moment,  Bitcoin has established some form of stability in the market and how we react to them at some point,  although there have been several attempts to make room for so upward price movement and at that point, the bear market always put up a strong resistance which has limited Bitcoin to around $24k price with all the several attempts made to keep bitcoin price at above 35k price for a long time.

Anyway,  the current price is still far better than what it was in the last couple of weeks or months ago.
The price of Bitcoin seems to be increasing as the halving gets closer and this is an indication that people are accumulating rather than missing out on the chance. As the price started to pick up high, the more we speculated that the market would go bullish next year. It can be possible as per see but I could agree that it was too early to think about and might be possible for some price corrections before it happens.
The current surge will tell us that the Bitcoin price will always recover so there is no reason to become hopeless when crisis comes.
730  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Giveaway Scam On the Rise on: October 31, 2023, 09:04:50 PM
The sad thing is that when the technology is developing, scammers will then use this as a medium for their evil plan (scamming). Honestly, we can't rid of them, they will even grow more and spread widely. That is why we should not trust anyone online especially when it talks about money and offering high and impossible rewards and investment returns because it is certainly a big lie and scam.

 - ignore them
 - don't take to strangers that offer ROI in a short period of time
 - research is very important before investing
731  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Winning Wisely: Strategies to Protect Your Bankroll on: October 31, 2023, 08:38:34 PM
In gambling games, the only think that can make someone save their bankroll and gamble safely is that they stop when they see that their luck isn't working and they are constantly losing. If you don't stop at the right time, you will most likely lose your whole bankroll in that exact gambling session.
When we continuously lose when gambling then the right choice is to stop to consider continuing betting or stop betting to avoid high losses, we have to calculate the total temporary loss and if the loss has reached 50% of the funds you allocated for gambling, I choose not to continue gambling and will return tomorrow because I consider gambling to be closer to the luck factor than probability, if I force myself to continue betting then it is very likely that the bet will lose because I cannot control my emotions and the possibility of placing all in on the next bet. So it is better for me to secure another 50% remaining funds for another bet than to gamble without emotional control, you will not gamble wisely and will only waste your money gambling without consideration.
Indeed, we don't need to force ourselves to continue gambling and chasing those losses because that will lead to losing more and badly affecting our finances. It is necessary for us to understand that we must be responsible with our actions and decisions, and must know how to set limitations in gambling just to protect ourselves from overspending that causes very unacceptable losses.

-we have to remind ourselves that gambling is not a source of income, so only just spend extra money
 - if we have no luck in gambling, then no way to win.
732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: October 31, 2023, 12:04:08 PM
Children are very quick to imitate every actions of adults around them and because gambling is one activity that isn't supposed to be introduced to children under the age of 18, it's absolutely wrong for adults to or parents to gamble in front of kids as it'll potentially make them to end up as gambling addicts.
Children aren't good at making decisions and doesn't know the implications of gambling so introducing them to gambling is a way of ruining their future.
A child watching his or her father or mother gambling does not necessarily become a gambling addict automatically, let's try to get our facts right always.
A child watching his or her parents while they gamble can't still gamble until such a child is of age, atleast from 10, 12 to 15 years of age when they probably already own their own smart phone or are getting some pocket money from the parents.

A child can watch an adult gamble and possibly won't understand exactly what the adult is doing, the child may possibly assume that the adult is playing some random video game, a child can only know that you are gambling only when you decide to tell them so.
You have a point, but when the curiosity hits the child, there's a possibility that in the near future that they will more likely to engage in gambling, also it's just not being addictive but there's also different factors that may affect the child while they are growing up like poor mental health, emotional problems and school difficulties. it shows that the environment that a child grows up will be the reason of developing a gambling addiction. As we all know that parents should be the important role model
for their child, they may come to reflect their parents attitude and behaviours about gambling.
It is possible to gain curiosity in their mind but sooner, they will also find out that gambling is not good for them. It doesn't mean that because they saw their parent gambling, they will become a gambler when they grow old. I'd say no because becoming a gambler is a choice, it was not inherited. So, therefore, it was okay for them to see us gambling as long as we still had time with them and explained what is gambling all about. Because at the moment they will understand what is gambling, they could also think about what will happen to them and their future if they get into gambling addiction.
733  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think a new memecoin $MEMEFARMS will skyrocket in 2023? on: October 31, 2023, 11:24:05 AM

What are your thoughts on this? Do you think it's a good opportunity?
Don't overthink these projects that have no use case like meme coins as it only ruins your day and makes you lose. I'd say they still have the opportunity but it doesn't mean that we should be thinking that we have a profit assurance from these coins. You must know the risk of investing in meme coins and must know that most of them are scams. They are very popular and famous when it comes to hyping sentiment but when it comes to market sustainability, you can't rely and see them get it.
734  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in bitcoin and forget the investment on: October 30, 2023, 09:57:46 PM
Easy to say but difficult to actualize. I do get where this idea is coming from; previous investors who forgot about it and are now happy with how high its market value became. But since its price is already high, and since we don’t have an assurance that its price will further increase in the future, not to mention possible circumstances which might push an investor to pull his investments out, then it is just hard to think of. Previous investors made this possible only because it was amnot as promising as it is now. We just cannot disregard something with a large value. Remember instances wherein a guy paid using an amount of Bitcoin to buy a pizza? That’s how different situations are, now.
I could agree, yes because most of us have been reliant on a single source of income and at the moment we buy Bitcoin, we also then think about a profit and our mind is focusing on it. As we kept tracking our investment, the more we got into thinking about when it was bullish and when I sold it. The center of our mind is to make money from our investments which certainly have a huge impact on our decisions.
And this is the reality, some investors were long-term holders and patient while some were short-term holders and impatient. This will measure us how long we can keep our Bitcoin and the capability to hold.
735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 30, 2023, 01:25:28 PM
This is human act, it shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone, but the fact is, different people with their behavior, there is a saying that you will know a through a friend when he is rich or when he has some money, you don't know the true character of an individual when he is poor, but we shouldn't just think straight we shouldn't just conclude with the conversation those two friends were having, we should also put to consideration what might have happened between these friends that prompted their bet winner friend to exhibit such character, there are hidden things in this life, if we don't have a good idea of any conversation, it will be very bad if we take side without knowing what might have happened.
Money can change someone's behavior, if not always but most of the time and I experience that one.
We really don't know what they are thinking but anyway, we don't need to mind it and ask them why, that was their mentality. Some will stay as a friend and some will forget as they make another group of friends (rich).

Of course, too bad to think how they change from winning millions but we can't force them to stay with us when it is against their will. Maybe they are thinking that we will take advantage of the situation.
736  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: October 30, 2023, 12:38:36 PM
...

Later he open up to have been using $500 for gambling per day, he said all these started when his wife left him, that he isn't into gambling at all, but I can't ask why his wife left him in the first place, but does loneliness make people become addicted to gambling or it's something else.
That person doesn't just gamble but he wants to divert his mind from thinking about his wife and what happened to their family and think that gambling is the best solution. Many people do this just to forget what happened and they even get addicted to it but this is not the best thing to do because the possibility is that we're losing control of emotion and all the hatred affect our mind which turns to even worse.  I hate that kind of thinking really as gambling is not a solution to our problem but sometimes it causes more problems and I'm afraid this will happen to your friend in the coming days if he never stops from overspending.
737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have we seen the lowest low of this bear market? on: October 29, 2023, 10:12:33 PM
Since the FTX crash I listened a lot to Gareth Soloway and Nicholas Merten from Datadash. Both expected lower lows. Soloway even expected BTC to get under 10k at some point. With the recent price rise I'm a bit worried that the ship has sailed. In his most recent video he no longer mentioned these lows. He even mentioned a 50k possibility for this year.
You can listen to them but never think of believing them either. These two people and many other influencers are just speculators who are grabbing attention from their false market speculations. Don't give them a reason to believe because they are not controlling the market nor seeing what to happen next.

Quote
What are your thoughts? How big of a price rise do you expect if an ETF gets approved?
And is a scenario of World War III (Israel + USA + NATO vs an alliance of Islamic countries) bullish or bearish?

All of these have little to no impact on the market. I couldn't think about WW III, we're peace lovers.
We can witness corrections and pumps as it was natural in crypto but pointing out that these will be the reason (war and ETF approval) that is somewhat a debate.
738  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Importance of emotion while trading on: October 29, 2023, 09:39:14 PM
This is the most important thing in trading, learning to control your emotions. When a trader plans to start crypto trading, he must first control his emotions. For example when I first started trading I suffered losses and could not control my emotions, but later I controlled my emotions. That is why whenever a person starts his business he should control his emotions, because at any time one can face loss in business. And a trader who cannot control his own emotions will never be able to move forward in the future. In business you always have to control yourself, moreover in gambling you also have to control your emotions. All business involves risk and the person who can trade with this risk is able to control his emotions, that is why these things are most important.
Uncontrollable emotion is one factor why a trader fails. We usually think that it is easy to control it and urge people to do that but the truth is that, despite the fact that we know the consequences of it, many still get into that situation. They later realize how important it was but too sad that they experience losses and disappointment first before it happens. It is to say that many traders can't do that and it was very challenging but some do it for a reason as they are focused on their goal.
739  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dangerous chasing losses on: October 27, 2023, 02:57:13 PM

Conclusion: I will never gamble again when I’m bored or chase loss small amount. With this exhilarating experience. I think I will stop gambling for a long time and reflec on what dumb thing I do today.

Many people say "I will stop gambling because I lose a lot" but after a few days, they'll be back to gambling again.

Nothing wrong with gambling as long as we are still in our minds but what went wrong is when we started to think of getting back our losses. This is the time that our emotions have been controlling us as in our mind to gamble more in order to win and secure our capital but too unfortunate that luck doesn't come when asked.

The only thing that we need to correct is our behavior and understanding of gambling.
740  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: October 27, 2023, 02:27:23 PM
Quote
why they refuse or not find it encouraging for uploading their information to verify their accounts before funding the accounts of casino, any people we have in a casino problem concerning kyc that should be our fault

Most Casinos don't state clearly the terms and conditions in its clarity. Mid way into the whole gambling session they tend to make it look unnecessary to Verify identity and then they give you a striking condition only when you get to withdrawal page. The question is, was there a KYC condition for withdrawal from the very onset?
People shouldn't be forced into what they don't  want to just because you have their funds in your platform.
Most of the time, we can't see that KYC verification is required which makes some gamblers encourage to register and use their platform.
It is just like they don't care about it (deposit) but once we are able to withdraw our funds, we are surprised why they are asking for it. While questioning why, the answer is optional but needed because you can't get approval if not completed That really sounds crazy as we were never taught that it was obligatory, and been pushed to do that otherwise, we can never get our money back.

Actually, I'm not against KYC but it should be clear enough for the gamblers that was necessary to comply, not just to find it when we now withdrawing our funds.
