i think it's a joke
Wrong! This is why you have a low imagination score. But I'll send you fmerit anyway once I figure out how it's sent.

I think we need more than just an announcement. The proper news right now would be that some people actually got the card...
Token lock up has started for a few people, so that's something. But yes more needs to happen to push back against this downturn! Do you have a link to where this was published please? I know that all markets are down and it is bear territory right now but locking up tokens should have a direct influence on the price, and the circulating supply. But the price is tanking not rising. Unless you are talking like about 4 or 5 people? Just checking the application, not updated yet. Number of people ahead still the same. It seems that still nothing happen yet. Token locking would we awesome. Can't find original info, but only a few people are able to lock up at this stage. Reddit link here in comments field mentions it. https://www.reddit.com/r/MonacoCard/comments/888vvx/after_a_tough_week_in_the_market_we_hope_news/

I'm getting altcoins that have an actual use now or in the very near future. For example, Monaco (MCO) coin will give you access to better financial products and crypto cards depending on how many tokens you have, so there is actually a use to getting coins even if the price trends sideways.

My opinion "Does not promise anything new. copy paste project. (copy x16r algo and paste del random write shuffle it is new algo x16s ) It's a useless project that tries to take advantage of ravencoin's popularity."
amen brother.. a16s seems to be a good smart improvement of x16r, so RVN devs can easily adopt it into RVN and continue on theirs roadmap. PGN is proof of concept only, not real coin at all. RVN has community and skilled fulltime devs, PGN has one student, the smart one but still one student without experiences with leading big projects, or company in general. So thanks to x16s, DEvs can consider merge them into RVN, but that's all Depends on what they do next. Super early days but I guess it's a trade off. If you mine a coin early at lower difficulty and the project comes good, then who knows.

I mainly mine altcoins and exchange for some bitcoin when the exchange rate is right. I've also purchased some eth but not much.
So my plan really is to keep mining and exchanging for coins I like. I will cash out to pay for electricity and mining equipment but mainly just stockpiling coins I believe in, and if they work out and increase significantly, then maybe cash out some of them.

Vivid looks fantastic - I think we'll see more higher quality ICO's in 2018 compared to 2017, as more developed teams and businesses get together to start something of high quality from scratch. Hopefully crypto will boom back over the coming months because there are some very promising projects out there.

The bounty for the signature campaign keeps dropping. This is fine, but can I confirm if we decide to leave the sig campaign before the end of the ICO, we will still receive all the tokens earned up to the point when we leave?

I don't think you can make a decision on if buying a 'penny' coin (under 1 USD) is a good idea without considering the total coin supply, and if the supply is capped or if it continues to grow every year.
Coins like Ethereum are actually uncapped and will grow every year from mining (pow or pos) - so technically infinite supply.
I think the real concepts or decisions are similar to buying any penny (or low priced) 'stocks' - some will become the next amazon while some will become worth nothing, just like what happened in the dotcom boom.

this coin has prove to be the few good ones around am realling holding till the end of the year to see how it goes
Yes it is a great community and the developers are really involved in keeping everyone up to date. There have been a couple q and a's that are worth checking out too if you go to the website.

Yay! I finally got my card today. Is what I should have been able to say Months ago. Yea that would be awesome! Having cards out during the peak of the crypto boom would have been awesome for Monaco. Now who knows if or when they'll be another upswing in broader crypto.

Can't wait for the exchange to launch! There are expected to be a few exchanges launching in mid 2018 so hope legolas stands out.

Screenshots of the game look great. Interesting information on the landplots will check it out.

91k is super specific. Most people just round to the nearest whatever rather than going with something that specific.

Would there be enough money in the exchanges? Would bitcoin fail?
Supply is over loaded and price will fall deeper and deeper. If this happens to Bitcoin the whole market crashes like domino effect. It is different story if it happens to just one or two of alt coins. Given the market is unregulated, I would question if the exchanges have enough fiat to pay out everyone. I would say for most that it would be very unlikely. Although you could argue that the same exists for banks. If everyone went to ATM's or bank branches at the same time and withdrew their savings in cash paper notes, there wouldn't be enough and the banks would be insolvent. Something slightly similar happened to Greece a few years back as part of Grexit, where Greeks were restricted to withdrawing something like $200 euros a day from their accounts, as there was concerns the country would leave the eurozone and have to start their own (less valuable) currency.

This airdrop looks more like a bounty campaign - for example, join telegram, follow on social media etc is the kind of thing you might get through bounties. Should you also include (or move) this announcement to that forum?

I'm seeing more posts of people saying their website has more zen wallets, or that their website/online store accepts zen as payments (like the two posts above mine).
Do the zencash team have a spot on their website with accredited/agreed businesses or websites where it is 'safe' to do business in zencash? Or is it a bit of a free for all and anyone can start accepting zen?
We have a merchant directory in progress to add to our website. Excellent thanks. As zencash rolls out for merchant use more broadly, there will be a question as to whether you need to have a checking/accreditation/endorsement process for merchants accepting zen, or if it will be a 'free-for-all anyone can be on the list' type of process. If you're putting merchants up on your website, then you would presumably want to be sure that they are ok, as if there are any issues they would potentially reflect back on zencash.
