This is much more effective if we prioritize our security and safety and this thread is the place for it.

Thanks for this easy to access threads that we can visit @OcTradism, by this we can share and if we want to have much more idea about the security and privacy of our accounts, we will not hesitate to read more information regarding this. Hopefully, newbies will spend their time in this thread so that there will be no more threads about newbies seeking help about scamming and hacking in this forum. So that we can also minimize those redundancy about people looking for a thread about security and privacy where there is already a compilation of it.
742  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you a man or ...? Buy something right now ! on: August 14, 2020, 06:58:18 AM
I am a man! And I am not letting you tell me what to do! Wink

Kidding aside, spending keeps the economy alive. That's true. However, it is equally true that the buying power of the large consuming public is at the mercy of their income. If the consuming public has very low buying power, it probably means that they have low income, too.

You can't really force someone to buy something if they don't have the ability to do so. Not all of us do still have a job amidst this pandemic because some companies and businesses are closed. Sometimes the demand is the sign if people do have some funds to buy what they need in order to contribute to the recover of the economy.

Unfortunately, we lived in a reality that our society is so unfair when it comes to those people who are in needs. Don't hesitate to spend your money if you have spare budget for your wants so that we can somehow help the economic recovery become faster and grow.
743  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Importance of Bitcoin during the Pandemic on: August 14, 2020, 06:12:14 AM
Yes Bitcoin did a huge part on my life in this pandemic it help me a lot since I am earning and I have some savings in crypto.
My family manage to survive because of Bitcoin and crypto currency because of this lock down we need to take a break from our real job.

I must say that bitcoin is really one of the options in order for you to have something to eat and work for during this pandemic. Through all of the hardships and struggle that we experienced during this Covid-19 outbreak, we really need a lot of necessities to survive and prioritize having a budget to use for. So investing is one of the best option and opportunity to grab in order to sustain your needs and secure your future with its benefits.

Bitcoin can help you grow with proper manipulation.

As people are not allowed to go outside, travel, and go to work, some people already lost their job due to quarantine and some businesses are closing due to insufficient funds that will make them hard to operate and reopen.

So engage with bitcoin as soon as possible and see the benefits and advantages if you work on it.
744  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance trading bots are garbage on: August 13, 2020, 05:12:37 PM
Who says that trading bot are really good in trading?
I must say that based on my experience in trading, I prefer to not rely on those existing trading bots.

I don't see it profitable for me, and if you are telling that Binance trading bots are garbage then maybe it is not for you. Instead of using them, it is much better if you will push yourself to study and learn about manual trading that will help you understand how trading actually works. Trading bots are far different from actual trading because you have full control of your assets while in trading bots, you will just set a strategy and that's it.
745  Economy / Economics / Re: Will African countries be developed? on: August 13, 2020, 04:41:50 PM
We all know that many people say that people in Africa are having a hard time because most of their areas are rural areas.

They don't really adapt modernization and advancement of technology and still they are experiencing poverty.

But one of the things that i'm amazed with them is that I've read some article that they already have a Bitcoin ATM that some other countries don't have. Their approach towards cryptocurrency are really good and with that, I can see that they have a lot of potential to developed in terms of technology and economy because they have a lot of agricultural resources and commodities to utilize.
746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin so unstable? on: August 13, 2020, 06:56:02 AM
Because Bitcoin was created in 2008 whereas gold has been a store of value for thousands of years.

People who are holding gold or taking it as an asset for so many years would really have a huge advantage out of it. Bitcoin is only new and more fresh compared to gold, because there's no digital currency present before. They really have a lot of differences and one of it is that bitcoin is much harder to earn and obtain, it is much harder to mine compared to commodity.

Gold is not stable. It's just low volatility.

This is somehow true, compared to BTC's volatility, bitcoin is much harder to make as an asset, it is much harder to control and manipulate in the market, while if you have gold, you will just hold it and you will not interfere with it because it has a lot of potential to increase more from time to time.

While BTC can be manipulated depending on the market situation if it is good to have a transaction.
747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: which is a good option?? Trade or Hodl on: August 12, 2020, 03:50:55 PM
Trading needs time, not everyone has the time to check the market prices every day, to do TA, FA, etc. Another thing is not everyone has the skills to do it, nor has patience, and may easily fall into a panic selling or to listen to the pseudo-experts we can see here and there.

Trading without these three, TA, FA, and SA, will become not profitable and useless for you because these will help you to trade effectively.

I'm not really a fan of trading before and I just want to hold my assets. But as time passes by, I'm not contented with that mindset, I want to make my assets move in the market to have some improvements and deal with the risks. Trading is really not for those people who are timid in manipulating their assets and make it grow. As I started trading, I'm becoming wiser and adaptive depending on the situation that I'm in, plus, trading will make your mindset healthier when it comes to investments. It really needs a lot of patience and practice in doing analysis techniques, don't hesitate to learn and engage with trading if you are willing to do it.
748  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Donald Trump signs executive orders banning TikTok and WeChat on: August 12, 2020, 03:14:40 PM
Many teenagers will probably become clueless why Donald Trump is preparing to ban their favorite app Tiktok. Most of the young ones are not that knowledgeable about those security and they are not aware about those people in China that might enter their privacy. They are ignorant about these scenarios that's why the number of people who are using this platforms are increasing from time to time. Trump is just defending its citizen towards China's software that might attack their country's privacy. This is a great move for Trump but its citizen will not see this as a good decision or good move because they are just focusing on their own benefits on using that Tiktok app.
749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future of Bitcoin Technology. on: August 12, 2020, 02:42:03 PM
I would be very happy if bitcoin technology would be applied in various countries, yes even though until now it is still a long polemic about the legal certainty that applies in every country, but I still believe bitcoin will be a bridge of advanced economies for countries around the world.

To be frank with you, sadly, bitcoin is not yet treated as a good currency in some countries due to its volatility and increasing reported of scams that is happening around the world. Due to those scammers, bitcoin's reputation is continuously decreasing and people are becoming more ignorant towards its benefits. I will say that, bitcoin's future is not that secured due to those fraud users that destroys bitcoin reputation in some countries,  like Nepal, Bangladesh and etc.

If you want to support bitcoin and help its adoption to become greater, just continue promoting it and use it properly so that its importance will be showed up to the community.
750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 11, 2020, 10:35:24 AM
For me, it depends on your senses, the way you think and your mood.

Sometimes we really play happy go lucky, we bet because we are happy and it boosts our mood.

That's the reason why many bettors are dealing with the risks without thinking about the results that might happen.

Sometimes, self-discipline will make you a good better. It will help you to have a proper timing on when to bet or where to bet depending on the situations that you are dealing with. If you are greedy enough to bet without thinking then that's very risky.
751  Economy / Economics / Re: Economy restart big Boom and prosperity Coming on: August 11, 2020, 09:11:02 AM
We will have a better life in the future, as long as we can trying to make money in many ways. And as we are now involved in the crypto, we can make a lot of money, especially if the market can get the bull run. If that is coming, we can see that the coin that we have can give us that big money, especially if we a lot of bitcoin. I hope that it will not take too long, so we can get rich and have a lot of money, and we will have a better life than today.

There are a lot of opportunity everywhere when you are aware and you are searching for it. Also if you have skills, you can apply and work harder for you to earn money that you want. Sometimes if the government is willing to support and help its people survive this pandemic, then it is good. But most of the time, being independent is much more good because it will make you become tougher when reality of life hits you.

They are lucky because they have loans from their government and can start a new life but that's not always applicable to all countries. There are still governments who are corrupt and they don't think of its community's situation. So I don't see it that prosperity is coming to all of us.
752  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Twitter/Youtube Bitcoin Scams on: August 11, 2020, 07:49:45 AM
sometimes there are loopholes to make this a scam, the lack of supervision on social media platforms about the bitcoin scam causes many scammers to be free. prevention is also not maximal so I think we ourselves have to be careful with scammer projects that are in public

Once we saw one, don't hesitate to inform other people or show those links that is needed to be avoided to prevent scams to spread.

Being aware and well-informed is really necessary as scammers are getting stronger and stronger, they are spreading in the internet immediately.

It is not that easy to become a bitcoin investor or holder because there are a lot of risks that is continuously circulating in the internet and many platforms that we are using. Youtube and Twitter is not the only social media where they can be use as a tool in scamming. Facebook can be also used and Google, too. As much as possible become vigilant and sensitive when it comes to an unknown and obvious suspicious links.
753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Local Bitcoin account was hacked on: August 10, 2020, 04:08:05 PM
This scenarios are the reason why bitcoin is having a bad reputation to some other countries and community. They found out that most of the news about hacking and scamming are related to cryptocurrency especially bitcoin. We just need to become more extra careful and as soon as possible increase our security when we are accessing our bitcoin.

This is really bad that it happened to you, I also felt sorry for your lost and I hope that you've learned so much on that problem that you've encountered with bitcoin.
754  Economy / Economics / Re: Wealth distribution, and tragedy of the commons. on: August 10, 2020, 03:34:53 PM
So I think a solution to the social divide problem is to make rich people spend their money more, so that it goes back into the world economies.

Unfortunately, people don't think like that, they will not spend all of their money if they don't specifically need something. We should understand that if you are in their place, you will not let yourself spend a lot of your money to the things where you will not benefit of.

Some rich people are still wasting their money but still the economy have no improvements. Wealth distribution is not applicable to all types of government, especially if you we are not living in a communist country. People just want to become more richer and wealthier even if they already have it.

That's the mindset of people, that's why the most affected by the economic crisis are those poor people.
755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: PayPal to Offer Crypto Trading on: August 10, 2020, 02:37:01 PM
And if the rumor becomes true it will take time to create their own crypto. As they are paypal, I am sure they will come with something different then others.

If this rumor is put into its place, although this rumor already was already discarded, many people will probably use paypal more because right now, they have a lot of customers already.

Paypal is a good wallet and it has a strong security so this platform having a cryptocurrency trading will make them become more popular.

This new features that they will offer will help them grow their company as they are very useful in making online payments. But as I have read before, this rumor didn't fulfilled by Paypal and people are still rooting for this platform to achieve this offer so that they will not need to transfer their money from Paypal to another crypto trading platforms.
756  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Boosting Morale for newbies. Giving newbie a merit. on: August 09, 2020, 03:10:42 PM
Just tell them to always be a responsible user here, tell them to follow the rules and regulations here, and most importantly, make quality posts.

Merits are there if you truly deserve it, you should not give them instantly because you told them.

Obviously this time they will make a good posts because there is a reward.

It is much better to save them to those who really worked hard for it.
757  Economy / Economics / Re: Australia will join money printers soon Good for btc on: August 09, 2020, 01:25:54 PM
There is no official statement or a link that brief the real news. We can't just believe on the words mentioned by a citizen of Australia. Why Australia is Printing Money ? This is what I got to read searching for the true information regarding the money printing in Australia during this pandemic.

I also looked for a source and I didn't found one, but if this really happens, bitcoin community will celebrate.

We will become resistant to inflation, if they print a lot of money, probably inflation will occur and the value of fiat will decrease. This is the thing that Australia could get on joining money printing like the other countries. but it is much better if you will provide the link where you have read that information so it will become more reliable.
758  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do scams harm Bitcoin's reputation in the mainstream world? on: August 09, 2020, 11:02:51 AM
It is pretty obvious, absolutely yes, it really affect the bitcoin's reputation.

Who wants to get scammed? No one wants to be scammed so these criminals are the main reason why bitcoin is less likely to widen its community immediately. Also, those haters of bitcoin who thinks that fiat is the best, they are destroying the image of bitcoin towards ignorant people. We can counter that if we fully support the existence of bitcoin in the market and we continue using it as time passes by.
759  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why most people think Bitcoin is a scam? on: August 08, 2020, 12:02:58 PM
IMO, it is because of misinformation that people are spreading about the issues of cryptocurrency. They said that "don't judge the book by its cover" , it is not only applicable to us humans,, it is applicable to anything that has a good and bad quality. People are only looking on the bad sides of the bitcoin but not the fact that it can help them grow in their investments. I don't know why people are settling with that bad information only where they make their mindset become negative towards cryptocurrency. Scams only happens when you are not aware about your assets, about the information that you see in social media, and about those people who you have transaction with. As soon as possible, keep yourself from those kinds of ignorance towards bitcoin and investments, that will not help you grow.
