Do not judge crypto with the opinion of others. You should do own research and then invest to learn the basics. Some of the new investors star investing in crypto and when they start seeing loss, they quit and label crypto as gamble. Correct approach is to wait after investment, remain invested in turbulent times. |

Yes, that is the most common concern for most of the government against crypto. I personally feel that it is not a mature decision. If some new system has the potential and features to replace crypto, it should be encouraged. That situation will never come though in my opinion as banks and crypto can exist together. |

It is very much advisable for us to believe in what we are investing or promoting. The market has been disappointing since the beginning of the year, no doubt but we need to support it and believe in it.
I am against the use of must and need to. There should be no compulsion for anyone to praise or invest in crypto. It should be based on individual research. That ids why I never push my friends to invest in crypto. |

I would suggest holding Bitcoin vs attempting to trade up. The bankers and elite are in here causing havoc so the game is much more dangerous now. I highly recommend holding tight.
Most of the investors have invested when prices were at peak like $20000. Now those who had weak heart, would have already sold all their coins by now. Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.
Bitcoin does not ask for much for its use: 1) Internet which is readily available everywhere. Concept of free internet is also becoming popular worldwide. 2) A smartphone, PC. Most of the people own this as well. In some countries where there is illiteracy and poverty, people might not be able to use crypto. |

Few days back I read news about a big Bitcoin scam busted in Gujarat state of India.Its approximately $314B( INR 22000 Crore).
Also every day news came from different parts of world about same kind of scams.Are these scams also responsible for crypto market fall and halt growth of this new technology???

OP, what you want to achieve is appreciable but the route you suggest does not match with the basics of this forum or crypto. There are other ways to spot these bots and spammers in bounties and KYC will affect genuine uses also.

Let me tel you a bitter truth. After he has implemented change to old format bu introducing the merit system, it is obvious that members will give suggestions to improve it. There are hundreds of threads regarding this ranging from removing signatures to some wanting the merit system be taken back. For him to reply on all those threads is impractical.
If you really want to get yourself heard, wait for him to open a thread asking for more changes to current system. He did that last time before introducing the merit system.

Solutions to this problem vary per person. It may or may not have the same effect as to the other but it never hurts to try. I think one of the most effective solutions is to invest on a new hobby (that does not relate or is a far different category to gambling). Once you’ve invested in that, you’ll be able to spend more time to that hobby and to yourself. Little you’d know, you no longer find yourself gambling.

It depends on the situation because most of the cases the chances of losing is high and people think they are gambling expert it will lead them to invest higher amounts in gambling. So don't consider you are gambling expert if you think so then you will start losing more money.
True. Overconfidence can result in big problems. One of my friends started to play small games in beginning. When he started winning, he used to play multiple games at the same time, saying that he can manage all at once. Then he started even watching movies while playing these games. Actually people always think that they will make big money from gambling if they will play gambling again. But it is a fact that only few people may be succeeded in making a big amount of money in a short time. while majority of people are going to waste their time instead of making some money.
If people start calculating returns based on time spent, then only a correct estimate be made. Nothing wrong with convincing people to enjoy gambling and actually its a good idea to promote gambling by telling them the positive and the negative side of gambling rather than showing them the side of gambling where all it can do is multiply your money in times when you need money. I was in that situation before, I have a few hundred dollars with me and I need a quick way to multiply my money because I need to pay someone, gambling is the first thing that came into my mind but I ended up empty handed.
Yes, introducing someone to gambling is not a bad thing. If someone starts doing it in excess after knowing about it, then it is a big problem. But for some people, things can get uglier after some time. Personally, I will not introduce my close friends to this until they themselves so some interest. |

It's a good thing that you already know that plenty scammers will contact you. What's the need of asking someone to bet for you instead of simply doing it yourself. There is no professional sport gambler who will not loss before winning (or else if they already know the score of the match before its being played). Why don't you use the small amount of money you intend to start with to learn, soon enough you will be a master too.
I think OP has a good idea but he is looking at wrong place. If I was at his place, I would have been contacting people locally who do not have much idea of online opportunities and then utilize the skills of that person. A friend of mine tried dong this with an exceptional guy but that guy rejected the offer at first proposal only. |

My first experinece in the gambling was quite bitter because I lost all the money on that day by continious bets one after another while my losing streaks continued.
The initial experiences are mostly bad only. I started with a card game website and so many people used to place wrong hand as they were new to the website. Some are not familiar with the website format and thus place show at wrong time. All this improves with time and you cannot do such mistakes even when you are in sleep after some experience. Everyone who plays gambling will surely feel happy after getting a big and small winning. Even when I have a debt and then get a winning from gambling, the pleasure will be even higher, because the pleasant feeling becomes double. I don't think people who feel upset or angry after getting a winning in gambling if that's the case, maybe he is an insane person.  Why will anyone feel angry on gambling ? Some gamblers wont waste their time to planning some strategy which in the end the startegy is useless, you know gamblers want to earn huge money in instant so rather put their time on strategy they chose to play non strategy games instead.
You are right about this : 1) Majority of gamblers are doing this casually. They already have other sources of income. 2) For someone, looking to make money with certainty in gambling, developing a strategy is very important. In fact, all the focus should be on learning initially. The process is pretty much similar to when you first opened your bank account where you were likely to fill personal data sheet and submit one or two ids
I think that the exchanges are just following legal directions given by the government. Even after implementing KYC, there is no guarantee that fraud can be eliminated completely. There are many providers giving false documents for such kyc. There are benefits as well as shortcomings of kyc in my opinion. I will not be surprised if government starts tracking people with the help of this and demand more tax from them in future. |
