741  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling up to 20btc @ $520 on: August 30, 2014, 07:26:27 AM
If you take Skrill or Neteller I can buy some.

Sorry, don't have accounts for either of those payment methods. I can only accept any payment method where I get cash.
742  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scammed by seandaniel for $145 on: August 30, 2014, 07:20:56 AM
I saw this one coming. I was the first to give him loans, but also the first to stop lending to him for too many red flags. Then several other lenders took the opportunity to loan to him once I stopped  Roll Eyes. Either during or after his second loan with me, he:

1) stacked multiple loans, lied about it.
2) had a loan with BiPolarBob, long overdue, kept quiet about it until someone called him out.
3) started requesting large amounts in quick successions.
4) offered his forum account and LBC account as collateral.

Yes he had two successful loans with me, but I stopped because of those recent dodgy behaviors, and I got out in time. When someone starts offering their account as collateral or try to sell it, that should be the biggest hint to not deal. It could be dumped any time, or the new owner will scam you.
743  Economy / Lending / Re: How many people would invest? on: August 30, 2014, 06:46:44 AM
I am , in Venezuela

Now why would anyone want to invest in someone or property from a place so unstable? Last I heard, there were riots everywhere, currency nearly collapsing, and overall the country is in turmoil. You wouldn't happen to be one of these desperate people, would you?
744  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling up to 20btc @ $520 on: August 29, 2014, 08:14:25 PM
I'm just about out, but do have a few already reserved. If you need anything over 2btc, confirm with me first.
745  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Antminer S3+ on: August 29, 2014, 11:42:14 AM
I'd like to piggyback off this thread also to ask a newbie question: What is the difference between the S3 and S3+?
746  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [News] Coinbase insured on: August 29, 2014, 09:42:29 AM
This means they won't go down like mtgox, but says nothing about you losing your own coins. Btw, this thread is a repost from this one:

Exactly how, Eal F. Skillz, where you able to confirm that I am indeed Phinnaeus Gage a.k.a. Bruno Kucinskas?

Probably from IP of your each of your posts from both account matches well enough.
748  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Beware Coin.Mx -- Processing withdrawals without a transaction fee! on: August 29, 2014, 06:55:58 AM
I think you need to learn a thing or two about Tx fees before you tell them what's good practice or not. Fee is determined by coin maturity and data size (not by Tx amount).

PS - this belongs in the trading discussion or service discussion forum, not marketplace since you're not selling anything.
749  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling up to 20btc @ $520 on: August 29, 2014, 06:22:33 AM
I can do Paypal and WU but you'll have to cover the fees.
I agree to using a escrow as well.

No Paypal. WU is fine, but you cover fees.

I want in on this, you paying postage for CIM?  Could buy 1 now and probably more in the next few days.

Just stick it in a normal envelope and slap on a 49cents stamp. I haven't lost any cash in mail before. If it makes you feel safer, you can send by priority or express, but cost will be on you.
750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Aug 30 to Sept 1: NewEgg Bitcoin Discount offers up to 30% off on Purchases on: August 29, 2014, 06:17:38 AM

753  Economy / Currency exchange / selling up to 10btc @ $500 on: August 29, 2014, 02:16:21 AM
I'm selling any amount up to 10 btc for a fixed rate of $500/btc. Mailed cash, WU, MG, or USPS money order only (have too many transactions going through bank/paypal accounts).

I send first if you have high trust, otherwise you mail cash first or we escrow. Post here or PM.
754  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: antminer s3s and psus on: August 29, 2014, 02:07:08 AM
Afraid you will need to be a little more transparent as "pm me of interested" will just not cut it here.

Would you accept escrow? Do you have a price in mind? Would you do a face 2 face deal? Payment methods you would like?

OP threw an offer to me for 0.54 including shipping, and it was in another thread that has now been deleted. Obviously this person has to send first or escrow.
755  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 30 x AntMiner S1's for $75 each (PRICE LOWERED) on: August 29, 2014, 01:00:32 AM
Just confirming that I have purchased two from 9mm-btc. My first ASIC ever, just to play around with Smiley
756  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: ASIC newb - advices on: August 29, 2014, 12:53:06 AM
You might consider the Spoondolies 30, (I have no idea how it's spelt), it seems to be very good and power efficient, but I think it's on preorder and it's expensive.

Thanks for comments. I'm not really looking for newest, latest stuff, as the cost ratio is probably high. I get pretty cheap electricity, so I'm looking at the best hash/price just to get back into the mining aspect first.

I guess the rest my questions were to general, so pointing me to any guides to start would be great.
757  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Euro -> Bitcoin -> USD on: August 28, 2014, 11:45:00 PM
OP, if your end results are Euro to USD, then completely skip out on intermediary BTC. Bitstamp I believe will have their own internal fee for Euros, then you'll have to pay the trading fee, twice. Doesn't sound like you'll save much in the end.

Last month I made a rather large exchange between USD to AUD through a currency exchanger. Fee is tiered, but for my transfer, it was only 0.9% above interbank spot price. This is dirt cheap compared to the rip off that banks charges (3% - 10%) to convert your currencies. PM me if the 0.9% fee is withing your margins and you want more info, I do not want to disclose this publicly. But just a heads up, you'll obviously have to go through AML/KYC verifications because they are a legit company.
