761  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much have you won/lost on bitcoin gambling ? on: August 20, 2018, 02:31:29 PM
Actually people always think that they will make big money from gambling if they will play gambling again. But it is a fact that only few people may be succeeded in making a big amount of money in a short time. while majority of people are going to waste their time instead of making some money.

If people start calculating returns based on time spent, then only a correct estimate be made. If everyone starts tracking this aspect while gambling, I am sure that games with small bets will almost receive no interest. People will gamble with large bets so as to win more money in same amount of time.

762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does convince people to enjoy gambling is a wrong idea? on: August 20, 2018, 02:29:37 PM
Nothing wrong with convincing people to enjoy gambling and actually its a good idea to promote gambling by telling them the positive and the negative side of gambling rather than showing them the side of gambling where all it can do is multiply your money in times when you need money. I was in that situation before, I have a few hundred dollars with me and I need a quick way to multiply my money because I need to pay someone, gambling is the first thing that came into my mind but I ended up empty handed.

Yes, introducing someone to gambling is not a bad thing. If someone starts doing it in excess after knowing about it, then it is a big problem. But for some people, things can get uglier after some time. Personally, I will not introduce my close friends to this until they themselves so some interest.

763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Need people to bet for me on: August 20, 2018, 02:27:22 PM
It's a good thing that you already know that plenty scammers will contact you. What's the need of asking someone to bet for you instead of simply doing it yourself. There is no professional sport gambler who will not loss before winning (or else if they already know the score of the match before its being played). Why don't you use the small amount of money you intend to start with to learn, soon enough you will be a master too.

I think OP has a good idea but he is looking at wrong place. If I was at his place, I would have been contacting people locally who do not have much idea of online opportunities and then utilize the skills of that person. A friend of mine tried dong this with an exceptional guy but that guy rejected the offer at first proposal only.

764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: August 20, 2018, 02:25:06 PM
The lock cn come to us any time which can be in the beginning or the few weeks later or even few years later so if you can hold in until the luck comes to you!

My first experinece in the gambling was quite bitter because I lost all the money on that day by continious bets one after another while my losing streaks continued.

The initial experiences are mostly bad only. I started with a card game website and so many people used to place wrong hand as they were new to the website. Some are not familiar with the website format and thus place show at wrong time. All this improves with time and you cannot do such mistakes even when you are in sleep after some experience.

Regarding luck, it is needed for certain games.
765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you feel when win in gambling? on: August 20, 2018, 01:56:31 PM
Everyone who plays gambling will surely feel happy after getting a big and small winning. Even when I have a debt and then get a winning from gambling, the pleasure will be even higher, because the pleasant feeling becomes double. I don't think people who feel upset or angry after getting a winning in gambling if that's the case, maybe he is an insane person. Cheesy

Why will anyone feel angry on gambling ? I mean there can be few exceptions like if you were at the first place, loose the final game and end up at later position (though still wining some amount), you will be disappointed. But even such a victory will have some sense of satisfaction that you at least won something.

766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling- Believe in Strategy or Luck on: August 20, 2018, 01:53:36 PM
Some gamblers wont waste their time to planning some strategy which in the end the startegy is useless, you know gamblers want to earn huge money in instant so rather put their time on strategy they chose to play non strategy games instead.

You are right about this :

1) Majority of gamblers are doing this casually. They already have other sources of income.

2) For someone, looking to make money with certainty in gambling, developing a strategy is very important. In fact, all the focus should be on learning initially. Some people are born with talent for this but with regular practice you can even bet them as you start realizing patterns and common mistakes of other players.

767  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why KYC is important? on: August 20, 2018, 11:51:21 AM
Imagining going to an office or school without an identification card or traveling abroad without a passport or boarding pass. For crypto exchanges, that's equivalent to doing business with people you have not personally vetted. These is where kyc comes in. The process is pretty much similar to when you first opened your bank account where you were likely to fill personal data sheet and submit one or two ids

I think that the exchanges are just following legal directions given by the government. Even after implementing KYC, there is no guarantee that fraud can be eliminated completely. There are many providers giving false documents for such kyc.

There are benefits as well as shortcomings of kyc in my opinion. I will not be surprised if government starts tracking people with the help of this and demand more tax from them in future.
768  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investment on: August 20, 2018, 11:47:44 AM
As you long as new in this field
You must look for profit with safety
Invest in the first 10 coins in the Marketcap
I highly recommend ETH. ADA. EOS. STEEMIT. NEO. XRP
Your advice is contradictory. Where do you see steemit listed in top 10 based on market cap ? Steem has a lot of potential in my opinion but if we judge by the performance, this year, it his one of the worst choices for investment currently. The platform is also facing huge issues like spam registrations and all.
769  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Price dropped on: August 20, 2018, 11:43:52 AM
So far there has been price drops in bitcoin almost everyday, i think the problem is that there is not enough money coming into the market and it is hard for the coins to stay up.

The money is coming to crypto but it is getting divided between so many alts as:

1) People think that alt coins will grow faster in comparison to bitcoins.

2) A lotof projects are promoting their coins with exaggerated claims thus fooling new investors.

770  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Girls in the world of crypto currency on: August 20, 2018, 11:42:18 AM
I know of a few ladies in crypto; but I don't advice any female to go into day trading; cause woman and emotions doesn't work well;  except long term hold and bounties

There can be some exceptions as we have some ladies in top earners in the world. Basically, things are changing rapidly and women are also getting involved in almost all fields , they are also becoming financially more aware. With time, I think that the gap between the number of male and female investors will start decreasing.

771  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $100 : Where to invest with $100 ? on: August 20, 2018, 11:39:23 AM
invest in XRP

This is a good coin in my opinion also though it has performed bad this year because:

1) It is 3rd coin based on market cap and price is about $0.3 at the moment. You will not find another coin in top 10 at that price.

2) For people who made loss with this coin in short term investment can still recover all their money in next 1-2 years. I may hold for 5+ years.
772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many hours a day are you spending on online gambling? on: August 20, 2018, 11:34:34 AM
I mostly like to play gambling on sports and specially on cricket matches, therefore whenever there is a tournament or cricket matches series then I remain too much busy while playing gambling.

Sounds interesting. Have you ever taken a day off at the office just to keep a watch on the events of a game where you were gambling ?

I cannot do this even if I wanted because of my current commitments.

773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: To quit gambling is to quit yourself on: August 20, 2018, 11:31:47 AM
I only know about few people who have stopped playing gambling after making a big money and never come back to that field, but I think that such people are very few in this field while the rest of the people even after making a lot of people they never try to quit but want to make and more money from gambling, but it is not so easy from gambling and you can even lose everything you have in your hand.

It actually makes sense if you win some big tournament and lot of money and then use the earnings for starting a business with certain income stream. I purchased a smm store with the money I got from earnings in a card site tournament and the online store still brings me some profit every month.
774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Benefits of gambling? Yes - it exists! on: August 20, 2018, 11:29:41 AM
One of the biggest positives for myself and gambling are the friendships I've made from it.  Formed a lot of good relationships with great people that I wouldn't have if I wasn't involved in gambling.

It really does help stimulate the economy as well by providing jobs, this is something that the gambling naysayers often forget about.

This has been the opposite for me but I still treat it as a lesson. The people who introduced me to gambling were very nice to me initially. After, I joined with their referral links , they even stopped visiting me. I have seen fake people approaching me for friendship and then dropping referral links to various sites.

However, what you are saying might be true for physical casinos.
775  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: August 20, 2018, 11:26:21 AM
You are partially and somewhat right. Most of the people in online gambling are there for profit, not for fun. Now those who say they gamble for fun are the ones that uses either uses free coins or just limits their gambling so that they don't end up regretting due to loss. Again some gets the euphoria when they win and this is how they define their enjoying.

Not true, there are a lot of people who earn decent money with their job or business. They see gambling as a form of entertainment only. I know many people who keep loosing but still play because they like the trill. They are not addicted as they rarely even get time to spend on gambling sites. You can also say that it is kind of a break for them from regular work.
776  Economy / Economics / Re: How Long Crypto market will take to recover? on: August 19, 2018, 05:37:09 PM
I bought RPX on Kucoin when it was 0.75$ now its 0.01$, and most optimistic prediction cant tell me that it will recover at all!

Now that you are already in so much loss, there is no point in selling it at these prices. I will suggest you to wait till the next bull run. When it happens in few months and bitcoin goes back to $2000, you will be able to at least see the old price of this coin. You can exit at that time. If I was at your place, I would have bought more of this coin at current prices.
777  Economy / Economics / Re: Choosing the one | What I think! - Real Job or Full Time Crypto! on: August 19, 2018, 05:35:13 PM
I prefer real job and keep it balance with crypto job.
We all know that crypto isnt stable yet and is still at the very beginning and really young. I just think that we cant rely on it if its still not safe. Its not even widespreaded and mass adopted yet by common people.
I will just wait until crypto is accepted as a payment option for almost everything.

That can take quite a long time in some countries. In my country, I do not think that this would be possible in my lifetime. Now, this does not mean that I am not in support of crypto. I am also not leaving job or other businesses because of crypto but crypto is certainly one of the easiest ways for me to make money currently.
778  Economy / Economics / Re: How will crypto go long term? on: August 19, 2018, 05:33:42 PM
At this time crypto price is going down. But over the next few years crypto price won't gone down. I think it. Price raise and price down this is reality in every market. All year the market will go on this mode.

I do not think that OP wanted to know the results in next few years. He was asking for recovery of current prices and it should not take more than few months in my opinion. Most probably by the end of this year, we will be able to see the peak prices again.

Just one bull run is required with bitcoins to push the rise.
779  Economy / Economics / Re: Should there be a tax on capital gains? on: August 19, 2018, 05:31:58 PM
According to my opinion, I think It's income and should be taxed. There should be a tax on capital gains because it's income and the current law is that people pay taxes on their income. If we want to debate or reform that policy, perhaps we should, but then it should be targeted at all kinds of income taxes, not just capital gains taxes. Getting rid of capital gains taxes by themselves is simply a way to cut taxes on the rich, because the rich make more money through capital gains than poor people do.

What is your thought on this matter?

In my opinion, there are already a lot of taxes on people. The problem is not having less taxes, it is regarding collection of the taxes. most of the big earners are able to evade taxes using various loopholes and that is a big problem in my opinion. We should work towards making everything more transparent. Even crypto can be used for this purpose as it brings transparency and easier access for past transactions.
780  Economy / Economics / Re: Government Exchanges on: August 19, 2018, 05:29:49 PM
If the government still doesn't know how to put down all cryptocurrencies(or maybe they're still figuring how to tax users), why wouldn't they create an exchange and get some profit from it?

We know how B.S some exchanges are, they needed KYC but in the end, you won't be able to withdraw your funds.

Instead of spreading FUD, I hope government from all over the world knows that running an exchange can add funds for their country, and their pockets! Grin

I know it will be making cryptos centralized but look at those exchanges asking for our pretty faces and names just for their KYC/AML purposes.

That is a nice idea from the point of view of government. But as an investor, I will be very doubtful on using that exchnage because:

1) Most of the government operated sites are vulnerable to hacking attempts. They do not enough experience to handle this and it will put my investment at risk as well.

2) They will also track the investments very closely and it can result in huge problems in future.
