On the Balances tab under wallet balance I put in all my bitcoin addresses. I noticed that addresses that start with BC1 won't show a balance. I looked in settings and it is using the default https://blockchain.info/en/balance for looking up the balance. When I go to blockchain.info in a web browser I can see the balance of bitcoin addresses starting with BC1 just fine.
I think the Blockchain API may not support looking up all kind of addresses (although their web site support more).

Can you please edit balance entry and change the blockchain.info URL into using this URL instead?
https://api.blockcypher.com/v1/btc/main/addrs/[address]/balance

Hi patrike,

i have a Problem with GPU Clock Profiles. I save the GPU settings from a RIG, and sometimes if i want to change some settings from 1 GPU Profile i get an error. But this error makes no sense to me.

And other Problems:

NBminer 31.1 recognize AMD AND NVIDIA CARDS, so if i want to set some devices for the miner, the order is wrong. Awesomeminer only show nvidia cards, and will begin with device 0, but the first card is a AMD card. So the order of the devices are not correct.

Wildrig Multiminer the same problem. It will recognize AMD AND NVIDIA CARDS, but i only can choose AMD cards in Awesomeminer. So the order is wrong too.
Thanks for the report.

Although I wasn't able to reproduce the GPU Clocking save issue, I made a small change to improve and also added additional logging. In case you run into this problem again, please share the more detailed error message with me. Thanks.

I will also update the mining software GPU selections you pointed out.

Hello,

I just received the new Antminer Z15 and I set it up in AwesomeMiner, but it seems there is a problem with the statistics... The hash should be 430 kH and not TH.

Any idea how to fix the hashrate?
Some Antminers reports the hashrate in another unit than what they say it is. I've just implemented an adjustment for Antminer Z15 to make it show up correct. The next release will include this correction.

If possible, could you please send me the API report for this miner? Via the toolbar: Tools -> API Report. This makes it possible for me to confirm the adjustments. Thanks!

Thanks for the fast reply!
Here is the report:
https://pastebin.com/ZLa7EvPQ
Thanks for sharing. From what I can see, the changes in Awesome Miner v7.8.4 will correct the hashrate display.

its possibel to add on awesome miner a string like in claymore miner like -rxboost and more like this
Please right click on your miner and select Properties.
1) On the Environment tab, enable "Run mining process with administrator privileges". This is required for -rxboost and similar parameters
2) On the Command line tab, please enter the "Parameters to mining software" you want, like -rxboost.

Hello...

Why is certain software not included within Awesome Miner with the algo is included? Like XMRSTak for RandomX? Or, HellMiner for Verus? (Yes, I know I can go add them... but...............)

EDIT- Add-on.

Not sure where I started seeing thing... But the "console" tab, where I can have a live look on my rigs, is very spotty with XMRig. It will speed through to get "caught up" but then you cannot hit "refresh" to get an update.
Thanks for the feedback. I think many users were running XmRig instead. However, if there is a demand for more software support like XmrStak I will of course take a look and implement. Please allow me to get back with an update on this in a week.

Is the console tab issue related to mining on Linux?

Not idea on how much demand is on XMR Stak... I just started using it because it shows share value.... The latest XMRig (whenever released) will have share value and I will move back to XMRig... I was just curious..

Again, samething for HellMiner - I do mine that off and on... I haven't been able to add that miner (haven't put too much effort into it yet) but the miner is set up different than most....

As far as the console tab issue for XMRig - its on Windows. The "Send keystrokes" option doesn't work either.
I've implemented support for XMR-Stak-RX. This will be included in the next release.

XmRig and XMR-Stak-RX doesn't respond to keystrokes sent by external applications for some reason.

Hello @patrike, I haven't spoken here for a long time, but I use your software every day. I am always attentive to all updates.

I'm going to remind you of an old request from me. It is about the statistics of the miner. They are getting better, but I lack an important detail.

Now we can see how much time in% or minutes a certain pool or AL-GO has been mining, but for me it is very important to know how many times I have done that. I give you an example that recently happened to me with ETH in nicechash.

He mined around 20-25% of the nicehash ETH time, but the problem was that when he started mining, he entered because he had an abnormally high profit, then it was 4 or 7 minutes and he mined something else. And this happened many times. And every time it changes we lose minutes of mining.

Example in a 24 hour statistics in minutes

180 minutes (3 hours) in 30 changes = 180/30 = 6 minutes of average mining time. This is rubbish.

than
180 minutes in 5 changes 180/5 = 36 minutes, this is infinitely better.

So far the only way I have to know this is simply by looking at the Awesome miner screen.

That is why I indicate that it is a very easy addition, to count how many times mine in that protocol and also make the count of how much is the average time in that protocol. With this we can know much better if that protocol is being manipulated to attract bots.

I hope it is well understood and can be done.
Hello and thanks for the feedback.

I do still have a note about improving this from a profit switching perspective. There are some design changes requires to support this in a good way which is why the feature hasn't been added yet. I do intent do improve the mining history at some point to give you better insight in these cases.

Thanks!  Missed that space.

Unfortunately, I'm now getting this error:

Code:

> New job received: 292441 Difficulty 1024
> Failed to obtain all required NVML function pointers
> NVIDIA hardware monitoring disabled
> Start Mining...

And AM just keeps restarting the miner.  It has been mining MPT (Zcoin) for the last 6 months with no issues.

EDIT:  Runs fine on my 1080Ti rigs, just not the 1070Ti ones.  Go figure...
It worked fine on RTX2070 as well using nVidia driver 445.87. Have you tried to update the drivers? The NVML error message you get from the mining software sounds like some driver file incompatibility.

Hai....
Lolminer cant work with awesome miner mining beamIII, I try many methods but the problem is awesome always point to --coin BEAM, and BEAMHASHIII algorithm still not enable in LOLminer software algorithm parameter

Thanks
I've pushed an update for this now. Lolminer 1.02 correctly maps -.coin BEAM to the beamhashIII algorithm.

I was however not able to get Lolminer to work on the Nicehash BeamHashIII pool, probably due to some incompatibility. It works fine on other pools.
Lolminer have a new update and its working with --coin beam for beamhashIII... one more thing noncenpro not showing profit and pool name just showing local IP address for mining min, 1 more Grimm price API from coincalculator.io its wrong it showing defis price.... would you delete that API from coincalculator.io for coin Grimm?

Thank you
Thanks for your comments.

1) For Lolminer, please update the mining software definitions to get the latest version where BeamHashIII should work.

2) Can you please send me the API Report (toolbar: Tools -> API Report) for the Noncerpro miner (via PM or mail)?

3) I will soon release a new Awesome Miner version. It will also include a small change where it dynamically can get a list of coins I put on the "ignore list. This makes it possible for me to ignore specific coins from specific providers.

Patrike, one suggestion for rules improvement. Please add a rule where user can activate another rules and groups or sets of user defined rules.

Example situation:
at 7:00 sun panels start produce electricity and i want set power profit profile for miner 1, 2, 3, etc... and restart each miner.
at 20:00 i want set economy profit profile and restart miners.

At the moment i solve this scenario over many rules for each miner, but more profesional to have only one rule for this scenarion.

Regards
Thanks for the suggestion. Are you looking for a group concept here where you put the name "Set Electricity Price" on the group, and include your two rules above to be part of this group? Just to make it easier to see which rules that relates to the same concept?
776  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: June 30, 2020, 03:57:24 PM
Awesome Miner version 7.8.1

 GPU mining
  - Support for BeamHashIII mining
 Features
  - Virtual miner groups - displayed and configured on the Groups tab
    - Virtual miner groups are not displayed on the Miners tab and not related to the primary group structure
    - A Virtual miner group can include any number of miners and miner groups. Multiple Virtual miner groups can include the same miners.
    - Virtual miner groups can be used for miner selection for rules
    - Rule action 'Virtual miner group' to either add or remove miners from a Virtual miner group
  - Mining history setting for usage display in percent or time is saved
 Changes
  - Hide secondary hashrate for mining software with dual mining support in case dual mining isn't used
  - If miner revenue calculations are configured to consider the average hashrate the power usage should also be adjusted to match the average hashrate relative the current hashrate
 Mining software
  - GMiner 2.11
  - Lolminer 1.01
  - TeamRedMiner 0.7.7
  - Bminer 16.2.6
  - Miniz miner 1.6v3
 Corrections
  - Correction to Miner Group Summary setting that wasn't saved correctly when restarting the application
777  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: June 30, 2020, 02:32:44 PM
Awesome Miner version 7.8

 Features
  - Mining History can report usage in either percent or time (previously only percent was displayed)
  - Miner Group summary can display average revenue per miner. Configurable in the Options dialog, General section.
  - Miner revenue calculations can be configured to use the average miner hashrate instead of the current hashrate (default). Configurable in the Options dialog, General section.
  - List active rules for a specific Miner Group. Available via the context menu for a miner group, Group -> Rules.

Mining History usage set to  time does not stick, it always reverts to percent when opening.

Also, is there any way to trigger a notification for " failed and ignored pools" when profit switching?
I will make sure the usage setting is being save. It was never implemented as a change that would be saved.

Do you want a notification message only or also be able to trigger any custom rules in case of this event?
778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: June 30, 2020, 02:30:19 PM
Hi folk, i cant understand, why GMiner 2.11 mine BeamHashIII with error:  Share above the target. Huh
--pers Beam-PoW is added.

Any idea, how to mine this algo on NiceHash?

Solved, must be so:  -algo BeamhashIII --pers Beam-Pow

and you can mine on Nicehash....
Thanks for the update. I will make the change from beamhash to beamhashIII as it's working better that way. beamhash was supposed to do auto switch automatically after the fork, but it's not behaving exactly the same.

Hi Patrike, thanks for the usefull function Copy&Paste for algo settings in Profit profile.
But can you slightly improve this function? Please add a possibility to copy&paste of all data (start/stop GPU profiles, command line args., batch commands) for selected algo/algos during some checkbox element. Copy&paste only for hashrate, power, software not always enough.
Thanks for the suggestion - I will review if this can be improved.

@patrike,

Options > General > Miner group summary  --  Options are not staying set when Awesome Miner is restarted, defaults back to Default.
That's a bug and it will be corrected. Thanks for the report.

Dear Patrik,

are you still working on the Firmware for S17e and T17e? if yes: do you have an idea when they will be released?

BR Ralf
Hi Ralf,

This firmware was a bit delayed but at least it isn't far away now. I will get back to you with an update soon.
