781  Economy / Speculation / Re: $30000 is becoming the resistant price on: July 26, 2023, 05:53:05 AM
Personally , I think we won't hold the 29k mark by the end of the summer and a flash drop towards 27k might happened. The summer cycle have always been tricky with BTC price and I never remember a summer with Bitcoin going up during a bear market but those who will hold , they'll do the best choice as it's too risky to actually predict how low can BTC go from here as 30k seems a bit hard to achieve right now.

Many people are expecting bitcoin to cross $31k and hit $33k or $35k, and I've prepared more USDT. I like to go against the crowd and I think like you, bitcoin will probably correct towards the 26k-27k level instead of continuing to rise as many are expecting. Bitcoin has barely had any significant movement over the past week, and I expect it to correct with the next Fed rate hike soon.

I have a contrary view here with reference to weekly timeframe of BTCUSD the price of Bitcoin broke a very strong resistance level @$28125 to $29000 via a displacement candlestick on June 18 and the price is presently retouching and respecting that level that is resistance had turned support after a massive price correction from $30336 to $28841 invariably I am expecting a bullish sentiment of the market and a possible breakout of $31K or atleast stuck at the resistance of that zone subject to no any negative fundamental news that might defy that analysis.
782  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a gambler do you have a potential winning amount limit? on: July 25, 2023, 11:14:23 PM

My main focus on this thread is in this question: as a gambler do you place your bet according to the weight of your financial need or you're always okay with whatever amount that comes out as potential win no matter how small amount?

Whatever the result of my bet, I’ll still be happy since I do gamble not for the profit and its just for an entertainment although there are times that I bet because for me its a sure win for the team and winning can also happen to me. There’s no limit, as long as my budget is still available and there’s still a chance to have a win, then why not.
Honestly I don't gamble while expecting a life changing win because I knew the chances of winning such a massive bet is very slim, rather I bet to win small amount of money based on my odds which is usually in the range of 3.0 to 4.0 winning such a bet consistently is enough for me to pay my bills, accumulation of massive odds in anticipation of winning huge sum of money comes with a very big risk with reference to soccer betting, a loss in any of the games picked renders the whole bet as loss so I am very contended with whatever amount of money won per bet and move on for a new opportunity because slow and steady wins a race.
783  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deposit limits on: July 25, 2023, 12:18:09 PM
Without discipline yourself, you will increase the limit and gamble more. I have been into gambling for many years, this is one of the problem I have faced before.

This is the main point for us to remember, no matter what kind of available features provided by the casino to limit our gambling activity (deposit, lose, wager, etc) but as long as there is still also a feature to increase the limit then the decision will always depend on ourselves. The same applies for self exclusion feature in online casinos, players may use it in order to stop playing but it can be useless feature if the gamblers cant control themselves because they may create new account or move to other casinos. Self-discipline is absolutely the main key.
Truly setting a daily limit wouldn't limit the desire of an addicted gambler to control or stop their gambling habit, for instance an addicted gambler who set $100 daily limit lost all the funds and willing to gamble more unfortunately couldn't do so due to the limit would be prompted to increase the daily limit next day after incurring streaks of losses will subsequently continue to increase the daily limit which is of no use, honestly self control and self discipline would adequately control a gambler habit, in my case once I lost all the funds deposited in my gambling account I quit for the day, though I fund my account with the amount of money I can afford to lose.
784  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 25, 2023, 12:00:30 PM
The last move I expect to see this transfer window is Mbappe accepting to go to Saudi Arabia. I think this is a wrong move at this time of his career, there is still so much Kylian Mbappe can achieve in Europe which he is yet to achieve and cannot achieve them playing in Saudi pro league, if he goes to Saudi Arabia, he can as well expect that he is not going to win a ballon d’or anytime soon. I really doubt he will be ready to trade all that for the money even when he is already earning much money at PSG. I strongly suggest against this move for a brighter future.
Actually it seems to be a wrong move nevertheless staying at PSG to complete his contract will see him move on a free transfer which is absolutely a big loss to PSG and there is a possibility of not playing regularly in PSG in his last season because he refused to sign a contract extension, PSG had rejected several Real Madrid bids for Mbappe and now Al-Hilal had offered a whooping £259m the highest in the history of football which I think is a very lucrative contract afterall he is expected to play for one year for the club thereafter he might sign for Real Madrid, though several soccer analysts and fans are sceptical about his purported move to Al-Hilal personally I think this an escape route from PSG.
785  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 24, 2023, 04:43:55 PM
Am not really sure if mbappe will join Al-Hilal, because is not and European competition, if he leaves PSG and join Al Hilal he will be viciously for him to get Ballon d'Or in the club, if he join Saudi league, mbappe won't get big motivate if he join them in the club, and many people won't support him again, if he join Al-Hilal am very sure is because of the money. And he will ruin his career and his performance will be awful, but I believe mbappe will not join the club; if he leaves PSG, he will join Real Madrid. because mbappe wants to join Real Madrid, if not because they mistook him for a millionaire previous seasons he should be in Madrid now.
Al Hilal only offered a 1-year contract, so even if Mbappe went there it wouldn't be a problem rather than staying at PSG, where the current situation no longer makes him comfortable. So that with a 1-year contract, Mbappe can leave on a free status and return to Europe. It's just that the negative point is that European competition will make him fall behind, including the record competition with Haaland. If you think about it, PSG still believes that Mbappe has an agreement with Madrid.
Personally I Mbappe he should accept Al Hilal the Saudi Arabian club is offering a whooping €300m to PSG far above the offer from Real Madrid and on his personal term a €700m for just one year this is huge offer that shouldn't be rejected, of course not playing in European competition will affect his rating and wouldn't be nominated for any award like Ballon d'Or, however after completing his one year contract he will still have the opportunity to join Real Madrid because he hasn't reached the peak of his career unlike the other European players who moved to Saudi Arabian clubs.
786  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 24, 2023, 07:41:45 AM
It is definitely going to be a tough season for everyone and that includes Chelsea and Liverpool, although both teams has actually had a good transfer market and the market hasn't ended yet meaning that they can still get more players into their team.

I am still looking at Manchester city, arsenal and Manchester united this would be the teams to actually drag for the English premier league and I am still going for Manchester city to lift the league but it would be heavily contested.
The English Premier League would be extremely competitive, with only the most outstanding team winning the championship. Gamblers have already begun to formulate their betting strategy and forecasts for the next season. A competitive season for everyone; we know which clubs will rebound and who will continue to have dismal records. Chelsea and Liverpool were in dreadful form last season, but they will undoubtedly improve this season. Manchester City and Arsenal, perhaps I can't guarantee that the Gunners are still in condition following their pre-season loss to Manchester United, Mikel Arteta has a lot of work to do for his team.
Honestly next season will so tough that even the underated clubs will challenge the top team, clubs like Tottenham, Brighton, Newcastle, Chelsea and Aston Villa will prove their mettle when playing against those top clubs in fact will make the season to the most competitive season ever, of course many pundits and analysts will tip Man City as the likely champion based on their pedigree and consistency in the league, however they also face a stiff competition from Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Newcastle respectively because many of those clubs had also strengthened their squad with quality players.
Meanwhile Arsenal loss to Man Utd in their last preseason match shouldn't be a yardstick to rate the club until the league start properly.
787  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed can cause a lost bet, (true or false) on: July 24, 2023, 07:28:44 AM

Last 2 night I signed up to an online bet called betking (become a KING) and I bet a virtual stake with 1700 naira to win 1,438,540.92 naira, but the game was lost and the bet that made it to lost was the last one I added, before I added the last one that made the winning to be this amount, I was having double thoughts like should I make the winning a random figure 1.5 million or I should stake it at 1.3? But out of greed I refused to bet the game at 1.3 and I added the one that lost the bet, what a pity?
Greed is one thing that gets some game lost, the stake we are supposed to win out of greed we add another that get the game lost.
That was greediness from your own doing, you could have initiated a 50% withdrawal from the total amount won to be on a safer side unfortunately you allowed greediness to overcome you, though from some reliable sources the reputation and credibility of the Casino is questionable, notwithstanding initiating your money would have reveal a lot about the Casino, however atleast your had learnt your lesson in a hard way you have to move on and forget about it, more opportunities might still come your way.

Out of my own experience I have learnt my lessons, but I don't believe that this opportunity might ever come again because I don't bet often, on a second thought this my story is what makes some people put more interest on gambling.
Your experience wouldn't necessarily encourage people to be interested in gambling rather a lot gamblers will learn one or lessons from your mistake, personally I would have withdraw atleast half of that money and bet with rest once I lost I quit immediately and move on
788  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People with quick rich attitude always mess up with alt coins on: July 23, 2023, 08:14:59 PM
I have mentioned multiple times in past here that people should be cautious with alt coins. If some coin has moved up like 100% or more in just 24 hours, it does not mean that you should also purchase the coin. You should first understand the reason behind prices moving up. Then, you should also analyze the benefits and demerits of the project.
Some traders or investors who get late when the price of that particular altcoin hasn't reach 100% are very lucky though fewer in number compared to the majority who bought at peak when the price is on reversal mode basically it's due to their inability to analyze and made research about that particular altcoin, for instance I was lucky to read the recent XRP court case a Sec which ripple won consequently triggering a massive pump on it price, I bought at the middle of the price rally and sold at high, actually the reason for that massive pump was because of the case won by XRP, there are other more examples we are to kept abreast with latest news on any altcoin to be traded.

789  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers Belief on: July 23, 2023, 01:56:32 PM
If you want to see a person full of hope and belief, then gamblers are the perfect example. The hope of winning and the belief to win is found in gambling. Even if you tell them that gambling is risky and the result may come out differently (not in his favor), they refuses to accept it and have 100% belief that they will win at any cost.
Well some of those gamblers had firm believe in winning their bet was usually based on the matches they placed their bet on with regards to soccer betting, for instance if Man City a strong team in EPL is playing a bottom club like Everton they will pick Man City a straight win against Everton though the odd of that pick is very small, they will also analyze matches from other European leagues where top teams are playing lower team and pick top team to win to accumulate their odds with those combination a gambler will tell you that their are chances of winning is a sure bet, well in most cases luck is on there side while at times upset is often created where a lower team drew or even defeat the top team thus ended up in a lossing the bet.
Well some might lucky to have an edge over the bookies in the long run probably that is what is keeping them to continue to gamble.
790  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: July 23, 2023, 08:40:53 AM
You are right that mate and this thought what I said before that if a gambler or if we are in the situation that we are on win streak then we can say that this is not enough I want to play more so that I can win more money but without thinking that we are not in ourself which means readiness is the one who overcome our feelings and that's the reason why we cannot control ourself and we bet spontaneously without knowing that we already losses a big amount.
That's why we must have awareness in playing gambling and if we can win games in a row, it is good luck for us. Other people probably won't be able to get on a winning streak like us, so we have to remember to stop immediately. Never think we can get more wins because if we continue playing gambling, we can experience defeats and maybe the losses will be bigger. And it is true that we must be able to control ourselves in gambling games so we don't have to experience many losses.
One of the gambling strategy I adopted is that after enjoying a consistent winning streaks I do withdraw my profits and divert it to other things either investment or pay for goods and services leaving some little funds in my account, because I knew that consistently winning bets wouldn't be sustain in the long run no matter how professional a gambler is there is bound to be down turn when losing some bets will inevitable, this is based on my own personal experience, however the fact the I gambled with the amount of money I can afford to lose doesn't take any toll on me and the total profit earned outweighed that of losses thus I will be contended with myself and refund my betting account to start another round of bettings.
791  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think selling your property is better than taking loan? on: July 22, 2023, 02:56:12 PM

I just decided to put this up here to see what you guys think about it. If you are in a situation that requires some funds immediately, would you go for a loan or would you sell one of your properties to solve the problem? And which of them is a better option, to sell property or to take a loan?
The purpose of obtaining the loan will determine if to necessarily sell some of my properties, if the situation is very urgent then there is the need to sell some of my properties I will do so, selling of refrigerator or washing machine are equipment or gadget to solve the immediate problem is a welcome idea because those gadgets can be repurchased after the situation is brought to normal, however selling of houses or landed properties is not advisable because those assets do appreciate in values with time thus it's better to find other alternative properties to sell rather than those mentioned.
792  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Major League Soccer (MLS) 2021 on: July 22, 2023, 02:43:35 PM
Spectacular goal from Messi in the last minute,i watched that free kick a couple of times and simply incredible on his debut. This wasnt a goal in the MLS league but its still an official goal so that is what matters. Messi already showed his elite quality in just 40 minutes of play.
There was a great free kick in the last minute but sadly Lionel Messi was not brought on from the start of the game but was brought on in the 54th minute and his superb performance eventually sealed the win for Inter Miami. However, if the team management had brought Lionel Messi into the field from the beginning of the game, Inter Miami would not have won in the last minute but would have secured the victory much earlier. In any case, Lionel Messi's Debut match for Inter Miami won for Inter Miami with an outstanding performance, it will be a different find for Lionel Messi.
That was a indeed brilliant free kick scored by Messi that caught Cruz Azul goalkeeper napping, what a goal scored in 94th minutes to seal the win for Inter Miami who are winless in 11 matches, Messi brought his characteristic magic to the team he is such a talented player scored in his debut to secure the win for his new club and I am very sure Inter Miami will become one of the most popular club in MLS  because of the presence of Messi and consequently MLS will gain more global coverage because of his fans across the globe will glue to their TV set to watch his matches.
793  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you quit that's when you lose! on: July 22, 2023, 07:13:45 AM
There's a popular  remark among gamblers in the part of  my country I reside. The saying is expressed like this "if you quit that's when you lose".  They use this statement to encourage and give futuristic hope to themselves that no matter how much they loss today or how many wagers they have lost they don't need to quit as it's possible you may be the next jackpot winner tomorrow. For it's like say don't quit yet there may be a light at the end of the tunnel.

That statement is a fallacy they use it to encourage their fellow gamblers not to quit and to raise their hope in a hopeless situation, where is the hope for a gambler who incurred series of losses up to getting liquidated? Absolutely none the best bet is to completely quit gambling and start new a life rather than continue with lt.

From what I observed from this statement is that, many of these gamblers have been misled by this very remark of a hypothetical hope which has liquidated their account.  While some who would have quit gambling long ago still hedge their hope on the idea behind the statement and keeps wagering.

Those gamblers who had been misled by that statement ended up completely rekted because when they had the opportunity of quitting after incurring few losses yet they succumb to their advice.

Now let's take this to a discuss; how correct is this statement? And is there any similar statement like that in your home-country that's popularly used among gamblers to encourage themselves from quiting gambling because they're losing?
Or would you allow your decision to quit gambling to be affected by any popular statement among your fellow gamblers or it's a no no thing for you?
We don't have such statement in my country probably because most gamblers especially those who are into soccer betting do it anonymously though they use to share some tips among themselves but that statement is never mentioned.

I don't believe Guardiola would want to change teams. Everything is fine with the Manchester City team at the moment. He is the boss of this team. The players respect him a lot. I'm sure we'll see a few more great seasons. If he goes to another team one day, it could be Barcelona.
I also still really want to see Pep Guardiola train Manchester City and still haven't thought about which team he will go to in the future, because Manchester City is now more suitable for how to train Pep Guardiola so that the team will definitely continue to work with Pep Guardiola in the long term as long as the team can continue to be at a better level in the seasons to come.
Personally I think a good coach or manager like Guordiola should change club for another new challenge to prove his worth as one of the best manager in the world having achieved his aim and  objectives at Man City, Barcelona, Bayern Munich though couldn't win UCL with Bayern Munich but with Man City he had won every trophies except the World club cup which I believe he will win in December, there are equally good club in Europe where he can prove his mettle to win UCL trophy, club like PSG is a perfect choice for him because they have the financial resources and capacity with quality players in their yet they couldn't win UCL trophy,
795  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 21, 2023, 02:58:48 PM
Guys Saudi Arabia league is full of Premier league players and more are still planning to join, is this not weaken the English premier league?there should be restriction. I'm scared, the manner big stars are joining the league from the premier league.

Beside that, next season will be very tough regardless for the stars that are leaving, Arsenal and Manchester city are the favourite for the title, while Liverpool, Chelsea, Newcastle and Tottenham will makde the top four, Manchester united willl struggle, because they have no good attacker
Mass exodus of premier league players to Saudi Arabian clubs won't weaken EPL, of course majority of those players are aging and wouldn't give optimum performance at their respective EPL clubs, the likes of Kante, Fabinho, Henderson, Koulibaly, Mendy, Neves etc are all at peak of their careers and accepting lucrative contract from the Saudi clubs is an offer that can't be resisted at that age, meanwhile EPL still accommodate young talented players across all the various club therefore the exit of the Saudi bound players will give room for those young players e.g Liverpool had signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to replace Fabinho and Henderson while Man Utd had signed Mount and Onana with other clubs toying same path.
796  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are the steps in understanding technical analysis? on: July 21, 2023, 02:10:28 PM
As a newbie in the crypto space, I want to know the steps to take to be able to understand technical analysis and also know how to enter a trader.
Welcome to the World of crypto trading of course you have to be aware that crypto trading is a very risky venture and to scale through it will take a lot of sacrifices and personal efforts to become profitable that is if you are trading with a high leverage which isn't advisable for a newbie. Technical analysis includes how indicators works studying each of those indicators and how they work with the price, however bear in mind that majority of those indicators are lagging thus you shouldn't rely mostly on them before taking a trading decision, moreso studying the Price Action of candlestick is also an indicator infact it's the best in technical analysis, exhausted candlestick patterns is an indication of likely price reversal and many more of this can be found on YouTube endeavor to learn.

After Harry Maguire will not captain Manchester United next season, now the main captain position will be held by Bruno Fernandes. I think Bruno Fernandes is the right player for this role and I hope he can be a confidant for his teammates on the pitch. Maybe in discussions with the referees he is very good, but when the team is in trouble I don't think he has the soul of a leader in those situations and often the player who can get a squad motivated again is Casemiro. I had thought that Casemiro would be the next main captain for Manchester United because he has a great leadership spirit, but it seems that Erik ten Hag has again appointed the captain of a player who has lasted quite a long time at this club.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1681993778964361216
Meanwhile Bruno Fernandes had been officially appointed as the new captain of Man Utd having been in acting capacity last season if Maguire is not played, I believe this is a welcome development, Bruno Fernandes had been brilliant in the midfield and very consistent in that role his performance had been topnotch thus he merited that captainship role, he has shown a leadership quality role on the field of play by encouraging and motivating his teammates during matches, Moreso he is always in the forefront to take  penalty for the team and not fail to disappoint his teammates and fans, I hope he replicate his last season performance to the new upcoming season.
798  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 20, 2023, 02:04:48 PM
Manchester United signed Jonny Evans. Now that's a weird transfer. Evans is a former United player(not one of the good ones) and he's 35 years old. I guess that Ten Hag will use him as a substitute player in defense.
The Killian Mbappe transfer from PSG to Real Madrid is the biggest drama on the transfer market. It seems that Real doesn't want to pay 250 million euro for Mbappe, because they want to sign him after his contract with PSG ends. PSG, on the other hand, wants to prolong Mbappe's contract, in order to sell him for a big price, and they are ready to kick him out of the squad and/or leave him as a substitute player.
Let's wait and see how Mbappe will get out of this weird situation.
Jonny Evans was signed by Erik ten Hag as a backup for Varane and Martinez and with his wealth of experience he would help the young players in Man Utd and if any of those two central defenders is out injured he will definitely be an alternative substitute, meanwhile Maguire who could have been the alternative substitute would likely leave Man Utd for another club having been stripped of the captain band thus he will likely be on bench this will definitely prompt his departure, Jonny Evans had been with club before he knows the in and out of the club and Instead of moving to Saudi Arabia he prefers to stay with Man Utd and contribute to their success.
799  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Stop Gambling Even If You're Doing Great If This Happens To You on: July 20, 2023, 01:51:56 PM
You are doing great in sports betting you Are wining a good sum and you are on the way mastering a good method in sports betting finally you have come to a point that all the years of perseverance is paying off then you're rich father  decides that he will disinherit you if you do not stop gambling because he thinks that money that you are going to inherit will just vanish because of your addiction to gamble you will have to stop gambling for a minimum of five years.
You are going to inherit amount that you cannot win in sports betting possibly multi million

Will you explain to him that you are doing great and you are not a compulsive gambler
Will just stop gambling  and be practical and get that multi million inheritance
You'll just go on with your passion and just forget the money that your father will give to you as inheritance.

Let's discuss this scenario is possible
I will bow to my father's pressure to quit sport betting despite the fact that my gambling journey had started to pay off or was now rewarding, of course I am well assured of inheritance that surpassed the amount of money I was earning from sport betting, then why bordering myself on gambling, honestly I will start research on how to manage and invest the money that will be later accrued to me through inheritance, there is one assurance that sport betting winning wouldn't last in the long run despite the fact that I was presently having an edge over the bookies, and the fact that I had quit gambling won't be tempted to return after inheriting my father's fortune.

There are Mateo Kovacic, Kai Havertz, Alexis MacAllister, James Maddison, Dominik Szoboszlai, Mason Mount, and finally, currently the most expensive English player, Declan Rice.
For Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai who moved to Liverpool, they played today in the club friendly game against KARLSRUHER SC. In the game Dominik Szoboszlai started and was later replaced by Alexis MacAllister, so both of the players played like 45mins each. I noticed that the England player who was in a defensive position for Liverpool last season played a more advanced role in midfield. The manager of the club is trying out new things as Liverpool look to do better next season. Liverpool won the game,  Nunez, Gakpo and Jota scored two goals to give them the win.
I think Klopp is trying to build a new strong midfield with the due of Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai as attacking and defensive midfielders while playing Trent Alexander-Arnold in central midfield role against his usual right back position, though it was only Szoboszlai that played his debut match while MacAllister is yet to play his first game for the club, recall Fabinho and Henderson had both signed for Al-Ettifaq a Saudi Arabian based club thus their positions had already been filled by the new players, Liverpool started their preseason friendly on a positive note with a well deserved win against Karlsruher though two late goals by Jota sealed their win.
