I still don't get it? Someone is behind the UN? Who, and to what end? I see zero evidence of a conspiracy. Planning for a sustainable future is a good idea and someone has to do it.
7862  Other / Politics & Society / Re: John McAfee Wanted For Murder - I knew there was a reason not to trust McAfee! on: November 16, 2012, 06:37:03 PM
I used to live in Belize and as I recall murder is illegal there also. Of course the accused is going to say that he is really in trouble for not donating to an orphanage.

"Don't look at that look over here instead!"  Roll Eyes

I guess I do "buy into" the idea of sustainable development. Why would we not want that?

... what are the odds, that someone with a "BITCOIN" plate would be at a stoplight right in front of a bitcoin core developer?
Increasing ?

So, the only thing anyone here knows about agenda 21 is that it is secretly an evil plan. Yep, that's a crazy conspiracy theory alright.
7866  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time for a renewed push to get EFF to accept Bitcoins? on: November 16, 2012, 06:12:03 PM
Exactly, the way I understand it the EFF has cancelled accepting bitcoin. Because they don't want to leave the impression they have a self interest in fighting for bitcoin, in the case they have to do so.
Then they should stop using the internet also.

I don't put much stock in "feelings" compared with math. However I feel it also. I'm buying some more this weekend.

Their cutting off of bitcoin has left a bad taste in my mouth.  Who needs an institution that defends your rights only with permission from the authorities?
7871  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WordPress.com accepts Bitcoins on: November 16, 2012, 02:57:27 PM
The crazy part for me is that my wife was buying from wordpress today. She is setting up a wedding website for her sister. She is sending them an email stating that their acceptance of BTC was the final persuasion.

Yes, this is big news. Other sites will follow wordpress and reddit.
Rally time?

You could also just spend the bitcoins on things you need?

Welcome fellow peer.  Cheesy

7874  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Quicker you realize that someone is smarter than you, the smarter you are on: November 15, 2012, 05:52:20 PM
Interesting idea. I suppose that I could be very dumb and still enjoy the fruits of humanity. I wonder what percent of the population could be dumb before things start to slide?
Also, I can't help but think of this:

So bitcoin anonymity rule #1, use a new USB stick?   Undecided

@TimeFlies
Remember that those who are attacking you are really attacking the fact that many/most similar threads are just scams. You would be more likely to get an investment in an idea if it is a simple and transparent plan that offers collateral. Plans to dramatically increase your wealth via some secret system will only be derided here.
7877  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hello All (Please Read) on: November 15, 2012, 03:00:06 PM
I think the question you will be asked is " If you can double your money in a few days, then why do you need my money?".

Cheers

Congrats on your new toy. It looks great.  Kiss
7879  Other / Off-topic / Re: Does anyone have a blog about any outdoor activity or activities that use GPS? on: November 14, 2012, 03:50:36 PM
I know this is not what your asking, but I have always thought that geo-cashing for a USB stick containing BTC would be cool.
7880  Economy / Speculation / Re: How long before the price tanks sharply because Silk Road is down? on: November 13, 2012, 08:39:27 PM
I predict that the price of my bitcoins will be unaffected by SR.
Then you are the sucker.
Oh, how so. I have made my profits already.  My remaining coins are $100 each. Take it or leave it.  Smiley
