Would love to see an example showing a more specific listing (e.g, a location w/photo, date(s), and price)

Oh ... all commissions! (?)
So if in my trading I sell at least 100 BTC in the month, all commissions that I paid during that month are refunded?
|
|

You don't mention that payment is in bitcoin (or can be?)

Canadians trade Canadian Dollars using the $ as well, ... life continues. There is a wiki page on the topic: http://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Bitcoin_symbolWe will be having some problems when BTC starts trading in Baht...
Mt. Gox and Ruxum have BTC/THB markets now.

we will be happy to set sellers up with a free month. Simply sell 100 coins or more by end of the month, What do you mean by "free month"? I interpret that to mean that any commissions charged on trades for selling during the month are refunded. Is that what is meant?

Since this is a BTC/USD market but funds are added and withdrawn as EUR (SEPA zone transfer), how (i.e., what rate) and when does conversion occur?

Your feedback is essential for us, so please let us know if you run into any problems, have any questions, or would like to see features on the site. Domains by Proxy, Inc. http://secure.name-space.com/cgi-bin/whois.pl?whois=BTFUTURE.COMThere hasn't been a particularly fantastic run by anonymous providers -- particularly when the service provider holds bitcoins where the coins are not to be withdrawn by the user on demand. Just recently another prediction market, MoonCo.in appears to have disappeared and those with outstanding wagers won't likely be getting either a refund or the winnings should their prediction come true. Perhaps down the road there will be some multi-party confirmation method (perhaps like what is described here: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38928.0 ) which would allow participation without having to trust fully the service provider.

Congratulations to the person who bought the 0.05 BTC ticket from the weekly BitLotto Jr. that won 4.90 BTC!!! Fixed that for you. By the way, would you consider doing a redirect for that BitLotto Jr. link? I've told people about the /jr and forgot it is /jr.php. Would be nice if the URL handler could take either one ...

Is it still possible that there could be a keylogger performing screenshots even when not even connected to the Internet (but will upload the screenshots once the connection is re-established?) To use this even more securely would it not make sense to boot to a LiveOS (e.g., LinuxCoin, or Ubuntu even) that is not connected to the internet even and then load the page from the usb flash drive, for instance? - http://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/LinuxCoinAnd secondly, just to make sure I'm current on this -- there is no way for these to be redeemed without first downloading a patch for bitcoind that will allow importing of the key?

The support team just sent a message back saying they have no record of a transaction and I need to talk with Dwolla. Dwolla has a transaction Id saying the money is sent to Mt. Gox. You could probably try to re-open the support ticket and provide the transaction number to get the exchange's support to take another look. You could also try to reach someone in #mtgox. http://webchat.freenode.net/?channels=#mtgox

Heh. I wonder what will be the catalyst to cause bigger ecommerce to finally "discover" Bitcoin.
If I had to guess it will be some 17 year old kid that leverages Bitcoin's benefits (e.g., no chargebacks, dramatically lower fees, funds available for spending nearly instantaneously, universal - no borders) to trounce an established, well-known competitor in like 3 months after launch. Then that little upstart gets funding and that creates a story for the media, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Is it possible with cryptography for multiple people to have This way, for example, Bob could get an address to send money to, for oh let's say a p2p poker client whose blockchain contains which parties have the necessary parts of a private key with X btc on it
Having part of the key makes the key easier to break, so that isn't a good solution if that is something you might be worried about. You might wish to read about OP_CHECKMULTISIG. It might be useful here. - http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=38928.0 - https://gist.github.com/39158239e36f6af69d6f

You have the same problem ... anyone sniffing email for "instawallet" URLs can access and spend that money long before Mom even knows there's an email.

The recipient gets an e-mail with instructions on how to download the wallet and how to set up Bitcoin.
E-mail is sent across the internet in clear text. Thus the link to download the wallet could be intercepted and the funds from the wallet spent before the intended recipient gets them.

Lets turn this into a community free style posting site. Free-style? What will stop it from simply being polluted (spam, rumors, trolling, etc.)?
