81  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BitPay Visa - Why I Love It on: August 19, 2017, 07:12:26 AM
I have a problem with this card. I ordered bitpay card about two months ago. I paid for it and I havent received it. I sent them a few emails but I cant get a clear answear :/ What should I do?

Not really sure on this one... I only had one support request and it was answered in a few days. Maybe try again. Not sure what you mean by a "clear answer" though...?

What about BTC exchange rate? I see lots of these card companies offer low or almost no fees but when you try to sell your BTC to transfer money to your card, the exchange rate is $150 lower compared to the market rate. Wirex is absolutely the worst there, over $200 under market BTC price. Dont use Wirex ever.

Their rate is on par with any other (and in a lot of cases seems higher). You can see the rates here: https://bitpay.com/bitcoin-exchange-rates

And no 0.5%+ fee like others would charge.

I know this card since long and wanted to have one but as usual this is not supported in my country. They offered only USD, EUR currency and there charges in that currency is heavy for me. The limits for the currency are great anti is ideal card for those who have lots of assets in the alt coin and bitcoin form. Just imagine simply swiping your crypto card and making transactions from the block chain straight to the end user would be so easy.

You must be having good time using it and personally speaking must be very cool to have it infant of your friends and family! :-)

It doesn't convert on the fly -- you have to transfer funds to it prior to the purchase (which is credited as USD). That said, I know people that have even done their transfers while in a store and were able to use the cards. I think it's one confirmation, so YMMV on that. Once someone I know had a 1.5h delay but that was because of a slow block.

Who helped you edit the document you linked to? It has so many errors just on the first page that I didn't even try to finish reading it. You don't just need someone to rewrite it for the video, but to actually fix it as well.
83  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RAWX altcoin exchange (former mcxNOW) | LAUNCHED ON AUGUST 7 on: August 16, 2017, 02:32:42 PM
Maxcoin did over 3 million worth of trades yesterday on Jubi. Maybe the need for an exchange that accepts MAX that is in english may convince them to reopen?

Not sure if he's even still active anymore. At least on Enlightened:

Last Active:   February 18, 2017, 04:29:47 PM

I've also sent multiple emails over the past many months to no avail (sending to the email on the rawx site) so don't think that's monitored anymore either.

Where can i see the hyper price,i can't find it on coinmarketcap...

How were you unable to find it on CMC? You literally visit the site, use the little box that says "Search," and type "hyper" and it pops up...

https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/hyper/

Not sure what you could possibly have been doing wrong.
85  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 11, 2017, 08:37:11 AM
Is there any listing of services that take Byteball? Casinos, VPSs/hosting, etc.? Didn't see anything on the site. Wondering what the outlook/outreach is regarding adoption here...
86  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Arbitrage Opportunity for people based in the USA, 3 to 6 % daily profit on: August 11, 2017, 03:04:11 AM
The problem with this is assume this guy is your best-friend or family member who will 100% not scam you.

There are actual people who already tried to do this with family members or close friends who live in different countries. So they send their BTC, the family member sells it off at a huge premium and they split the profits.

The problem is that, its very difficult to do on a high level. You can easily do this with $1000 but you won't make much profit.

Say you send $1000 worth of BTC for your friend to sell in India, he sells at a markup and gives you $75 profit from his cut. Now the problem is, he needs to send you back the entire $1150. How will he do that? He can use Western Union but there are huge fees, he can do bank draft but its slow and there are limits.

So yes, you can do this for small amounts like $1000 but you won't make much profit.

If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.

This is probably why he's also targeting those in the U.S... the fact you're going from BTC<->USD for profit automatically makes you a MSB. That's a federal crime unless you're registered with FinCen and are going through KYC/AML on all of your customers. So if he takes your money and doesn't pay, you can't even recoup it because you'd go to federal prison (and that's assuming he doesn't pay you and you still get caught and go to prison).
87  Economy / Gambling / Re: Hackcasinosonline.com - Working(Tested) - Multiple Withdrawals on: August 11, 2017, 01:52:19 AM
I can share snaps of bot and withdrawals but it can expose my & casino details and they can ban my userid. Let me make some profits then i will share, my target is 25-30K$, once i reach the mark, will post both screens by shading crucial details; can't take risk before that. I can PM as well(or show you via some remote sharing app) but not sure that you will maintain secrecy and abide that you wont publish details.

I don't know of any casino that has these policies.
No one will ban you.

Please post the pics and sign the address you withdrew too Smiley
Can't do publicly man. Casinos have spiders running in search of any exploits.

You can send it to me via PM, I believe I'm a trustable person on this forum, therefore I'll verify the PM and the signed messege.

How would you get any useful information? You want a signed message showing a deposit/withdrawal? Why? All he has to do is send BTC there, then withdraw it and he's "proven" to you that he won? There is almost nothing he could do to prove anything other than to share his account information with someone to log into on their own and verify personally that the site is showing the same history he's claiming. Anything else is extremely easy to fake.
88  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: August 09, 2017, 05:15:04 AM
Hey guys, curious about something regarding Byteball. Are there any casinos that currently use it (poker, dice, etc.)? And would it be technically feasible to implement Blackbytes into one? The way it works is a little confusing and off the top of my head it seems like there'd be a bigger risk of data loss there due to how they're handled?
89  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ㉫ ENJIN COIN [ICO] Ultimate Smart Gaming Currency. Instant Adoption. on: July 28, 2017, 05:41:24 AM
You guys should commission me to handle all your editing. The announcement is full of grammatical errors, as well as many inconsistencies with regards to naming convention and flow.

I'd also be willing to take Enjin Coin in return!

For what it's worth, I'm also extremely familiar with Enjin. I'm not entirely sure if this is actually endorsed by them, though...?

Air drop details just tells how many get one and how much. I want to reserve an airdrop for myself please. Don't give it to someone else xP

Not sure what you talking about when you say you bringing out games. ?

He already did the airdrop in a different thread. With no mention here. So those of us who knew about it in the beginning got left behind for not knowing there was another thread he created.
91  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]⭐[DRXNE]⭐[DROXNE] ⭐⭐GAMING ON THE BLOCKCHAIN ⭐⭐[AIRDROP] ⭐[POS] on: July 28, 2017, 03:32:34 AM
Wow, that is a sucky way to do an airdrop. By email? I can create 100 emails in a matter of minutes and claim all airdrops. You really need a better way. Even the forums would have been a better way since you can do it only for older accounts. You're going to tank the price of the coins because a lot of people who signed up are undoubtedly the same person who is just doing it to dump for free money asap.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [Pre-Ann][DRX][DROXNE] GAMING FOR EVERYONE [ AIRDROP ] [SCRYPT] on: July 26, 2017, 02:15:18 AM
Interested in getting in on airdrop. Any info yet? You said it'll start in 1 or 2 days but nothing about how to take part.
93  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: July 25, 2017, 12:42:23 PM
You would literally be rewarding those that contributed nothing and continually dumped their free coins on the market, which is at least part of what caused this anyways (price was MUCH higher, 120+ satoshis, before a huge influx of people started getting added to the receivers. As more people were added, the more dumps occurred, which can be seen by just following its history).

Just take a look at the price chart:
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/devcoin/

DVC was dumped all the time. Just from the beginning.
And it will be repeated with the new coin unless significant changes to reward distribution system. Even small fraction of existing devcoins converted to a new one will ruin new coin in days. I'm trying to develop reasonable way to sort it out with not devcoin holders left behind.

It will be very hard task.

I am actually 100% on board with the method provided whereby they'd convert for very little and after a year or two would be worth full value and keep going higher. This does two things: as you stated, it would keep the dumping from happening in the beginning, and at the same time would offer a PoS-like setup for existing users that rewards the longer-term holders.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [DVC]DevCoin - Official Thread - Moderated on: July 25, 2017, 12:23:28 PM
DVC distribution likely very concentrated and biggest holders those with the greatest power yet reluctance to change things. If you think current form doesn't work why [increasingly] reward holdouts? (that may include me btw). I don't get the point of conversion, but if anything the rate should get increasingly worse, not better.
I'm personally against any conversion/renewal actions.

New coin should be the new one without any "premining" heritage from old coin.

...

But, again, I'm strictly against any conversions for old devcoin. Just let it die and do not try to dig out its corpse.

The WORST thing you can do for long-term DVC members/contributors is not reward for existing holding. You would essentially be saying "So you contributed to DVC? Cool. You held your coins instead of dumping them because you believed in the project? Well, you should have just tanked it with the others because now you get nothing at all! Oh, by the way, interested in joining us on a new project?" Anyone that did this would end up with no reason NOT to continually dump at that point, because you'd be showing that it's the "right" thing to do.

95  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 25, 2017, 03:14:07 AM
Hey bL4nkcode, thanks for the share. Good feedback about Chipmixer. Just one comment though, on the first sentence. "It is commonly misconstruction that Bitcoin is an unidentified currency". Should the better word be misconception? Just by .2BTC. Nevertheless, everything looks good. Smiley

Neither of you are correct. The word you're looking for is "misconstrued."
96  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 25, 2017, 02:16:20 AM
Of course, I actually agree with you. I am just mentioning this here to have an official word by ChipMixer, as obvious as we might think it could be. But I actually disagree with the reason BitMixer claim to have shut down for.

Sorry for the confusion. My post wasn't in reference to you but rather BitMixer and how their argument made no sense (basically confirming we're on the same page here), Smiley.
97  Economy / Securities / Re: [Cryptomerian.com] Cryptomerian Investment Private Crypto-Fund on: July 24, 2017, 10:16:53 AM
I will leave my investment funds there, at your hands and i am sure that i wont have any problem.
As i understand from your update/announcement, if a new coin "born" you will distribute it to your investors.  Correct me if i am wrong.
So from my side as long as your statement stands, i have no problem to keep my funds at your site.

Besides, you are doing a very good job all this time. Cool

yes condoras, this is what we try to figure out. if a new coin "born", it will be included in the portfolio.

but I think BIP 91 is locked so hard fork seems not to be happen...

How much BTC do you keep idle, though? Most exchanges that would support both won't if it's lent out, and other coins won't work for that either, so it'll have to just be BTC you have sitting.
98  Economy / Services / Re: Let's Build Together-Earn $100/Day On Steemit on: July 24, 2017, 09:31:28 AM
Quote
This is a flawed idea. The number of followers isn't what matters, it's the quality (in the case of Steem, it's the amount of currency they hold). A lot of poor followers = zero earnings. A single rich follower = tons of earnings. Some people have so much currency/power that their votes are worth $200+ a piece.

I totally agreed with this comment because your steem power will determine your vote power which will eventually reflect on your earnings, i have concluded that the OP needs to starts educating people on how to really achieve this steem power for free or cheap in order to be able to achieve this desire target.

It's a wealth contest. The only way to "achieve" it for "free" is to work for it, just like you would if you wanted a jet in real life. Steem is money. If you want more of it, you use the same method as you would to earn your other money. Fairly simple concept.

I am equally interested in making money through this steemit posting account but this thread have made it to appear too simple for anybody to be interested, is there any guide out there that explains how someone can make good money through steemit because it goes beyond just an upvote of a thing.
The key to steemit is mostly quality. Quality content, preferably on a very frequent basis. If you can post regularly and engage with the community you should see your earnings add up.

False. The key is getting people that hold a lot of STEEM to upvote your content. Nothing more, nothing less.

You can literally have thousands of upvotes and comments from people interested in your content and earn almost nothing. Or you can have a single whale upvote your content in passing and earn hundreds.

It's why the system is flawed -- it's not rewarding quality, it's rewarding those who are friends with whales (or who get their attention through luck). Which is also why this thread is useless. Nobody that holds a lot of STEEM would take part in a spamfest like this, so those taking part have little funds and their votes are worthless.
99  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer - mixing reinvented on: July 24, 2017, 09:14:35 AM
BitMixer, a mixing service like ChipMixer, closed stating arguments such as mixing being detrimental to Bitcoin and illegal or dark market transactions being cause for much criticism of Bitcoin. They also stated that the privacy and anonymity go against Bitcoin's own design. This brings questions to ChipMixer's stance on this. I assume that these beliefs are not held by ChipMixer and that there are no plans at all to suspend the service, but some clarification would always be nice to have.

I've never understood that argument. The most commonly used method of purchasing illegal things? Cash. Dollar bills. This whole attack on crypto because it's "used illegally" is beyond ridiculous.

I do nothing illegal, but I wholeheartedly stand by the stance that what you do with your money is your business. The govt doesn't need to know that I went to Chili's yesterday and spent time at a theme park where I bought an icee.

Source: drug raid where over $22 billion in USD (cash) alone was found. If you haven't seen this yet, this is AMAZING how much they had stored. It's crazy...

http://www.infojustice.com/Topics/29%20Photos%20of%20Drug%20Lords%20Home%20after%20Raid.html

And the story behind that has been confirmed multiple times as well to be legitimate.

100  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Eobot is one of the mining site> it's damn true on: July 24, 2017, 04:24:17 AM
OP please dont listen to these people. I dont even think they use eobot. I ise robot and miningrentals.com .

Firstly the calculators the above users are talking about are misleadingly called calculators. One expects a calculator to be very accurate but this cannot be because it cannot predict when miners shut down and begin because thst is s human action. Therefore predicting accurately is very difficult. But it does give you an idea of what to expect. If you time rentals well you can profit. Most people probably dont though. Like the above users spoke about its like giving free money away.

You see not everyone wants to monitor pools and the amount you csn mine st that time all day long so they just rent their rig out and let whoever rents it deal with that. Yes they lose money but its ok because that's not their field of expertise. It does make sense if you think about it. Its like if I sell you an apple nd you make a profit off it selling it at the market I dont care because I'm selling you 100 apples at a time and I can make more money faster that way. Also I am not good st selling apples but the guy I sell to is. So can you see ? The faster thinbgw move from hand to hand the more money to make.

I would just like to add that all the above users have bakid points so take it into consideration.

Mining "calculators" are based on the assumption that there is zero growth. I'll let you do the research on how that's a ridiculous assumption based on both past, present, and near-future. By nature of you even ADDING hash power, you've already started diluting your "calculated" earnings:

Hash power is 100 GH/s and a block pays 10 BTC
100 GH/s is calculated to be worth 10 BTC per block
You add 100 GH/s
You're NOT getting 10 BTC per block because you only account for 100/200 GH/s. You get half of what you "calculated"

Math doesn't lie.
