-> You don't wanna show pop-ups
->You don't wanna show adds.
->You don't wanna take bitcoins for playing games
->You give out bitcoins for entertaining ourselves.

Mate, how do you make money ? What is the purpose of your app ?
We have 1 popup per hour and who said we don't have advertisements?  Huh
Yes we just try to keep our profit minimum possible so users have a better experience on Bitplay.  Smiley

How long have you been around? Your monetization method is what bothers me the most... there's a reason why most people have more intrusive setups -- they'd flop without them.
382  Economy / Services / Re: Need a vps service to host my project on: April 14, 2017, 10:26:41 PM
I do wanna to know if there is some vps trusted and reputable accepting bitcoin or any other altcoin as payment, i found Digital Ocean is one of the best vps service providers but they dont work with crypto currencie, allow me to know some Vps provider safe and not very expensive as well.

I'd suggest something like Namecheap if you're looking for a well-known host or SpeedyTurtle if you want something cheap and reliable. There are many more options if you're willing to jump out of the BTC requirement as well.
383  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PayPal needs my Coinizy Card statement for verification on: April 14, 2017, 10:20:58 PM
Hello,

I registered PayPal account newly and they want me to upload my coinizy virtual card statement.

I have sent mail severally to their support to no avail.

I need help asap as to what to do.

Regards

mmmmmmmmmmmm...
i don' t understant what do you need...
do you want to buy bitcoin with paypal???
or you have paypal, and you want to get $/EUR on you paypal account, exchanging your bitcoin?
No I believe he is using it to have his paypal account verified.
But as far as I know they don't allow those virtual cards anymore.
I could be wrong but it looks like paypal is making an excuse to not allow him to use it to verify it at all and now asking for a statement to prove it is a vcc.

ok sorry..
it's the first time i heard about Coinizy card...
I have done a fast research and i found who is a Visa card..
i found also, who coinizy have 16 digits card number, an expiration date, and a CVV number...
so, i really don't understand why paypal, is denying this card for verification!

Not sure how Coinizy works but PayPal requires cards that are linked to your identity. Most virtual cards have no IDs linked, and PayPal has to adhere to KYC/AML.

What kind of "e-work" is provided? Like can anyone help with things like marketing, writing reviews of sites that match a specific layout, etc.?
385  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Other Alternatives for Earning Bitcoin besides Signature Campaigns? on: April 14, 2017, 04:20:18 AM
Let s be clear, there s no magic way go earn bitcoin without investing time and energy into this.
Unless you do have lots of BTC to invest and re ready to deal with potential risks.

Having said this, I d suggest to double your post count, BUT ONLY HIGH QUALITY posts, not spamming shit around and you ll get your 0.01 BTC per week. Once you get that you can try to invest in casino house, lend or buy PoS.
You got me on the first paragraph about doubling my post count and you lose me when you have said about investing Bitcoin in a casino. There is no such thing as investing in a casino because you gamble in a casino but not invest in one. Gambling is totally different from investing the risk you are taking is much greater in gambling compared to investing. Also there is no guarantee in betting on gambling sites that you will profit the .01 Bitcoin I am asking weekly you might even lost the money you deposited in.

You absolutely CAN invest in some casinos. Both in ownership and as just part of the bankroll. Not sure what your post is getting at?

Okay, an update on the new wallet.

It has been finished and the source code and windows qt have been sent to me. It will require PoW mining to get it going which can be done with cpuminer.

The pre-mine was for 8,000,000 HYPER, the current coin total for HYPER is 7,918,249. Once everything has been worked out on my end with the new wallet I will add the swap page to the HYPER info website found here, http://cryptodatabase.net/hyper, where you will be able to download the wallet and source code.

Please keep in mind though that coins cannot be sent until people start mining the new version to process blocks so we will have to wait for that to start.

The new block explorer for it should be ready tomorrow and then we can get started.

I'll help mine it when it's ready. Please, please check the source though and compile yourself for Windows if possible. I'm not knowledgeable enough to do so but I trust your expertise in that over someone I don't know.
387  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: [VOUCHED]$20 - CHEAP Grammarly LIFETIME Premium Accounts [VOUCHES AVAILABLE] on: April 13, 2017, 06:26:33 PM
I'd like to know how much the vouch discount is. And FWIW, this does give some false negatives -- it flags things that are correctly written somewhat often. It also misses quite a few things, but it's still a good second check just because. But if you follow it directly, you're still going to end up with errors. It's a tool, not a replacement.

Ok guys,

~snip~

Anyway, follow our review as we wait to see if our .25 BTC makes a profit!

https://coincurrencynews.com/2017/04/13/new-age-bitcoin-bank-200-500-profit/

From what I can tell you from my few months dealing with btc and this forum, "company" like this will mostly either be a ponzi or a scam. You'll be lucky if it is the former as there is a slim probability that you can reach break-even and got a little profit. But if it is a totql scam, then say good bye to your satoshis as it'll never emerge, can't be withdrawn, etc.

But it was nice of you to do a test for us. Your page seems a little bit troubled, though, it took forever to load and once it finally finished loading, it shows blank page. Tried on both mozilla and chrome (pc) and chrome for android

He's not posting to help people. He's posting for a dual-greed purpose:

1) He gets views to his page
2) He can hope that NAB sees his post and will honor his payout while screwing everyone else, such that he gets free money

There is absolutely no other reason why anyone would support such an obvious Ponzi/scam. I already posted the math. If anyone seriously thinks this site can pay out 52m+ BTC in under a year and a half (when there are only going to be 15.x million in existence), I don't really know what else to say.
389  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: NewAge-Bank.com ★ First BTC Bank ★ FREE 35,000 STH/DAY ★ Referral 10% on: April 13, 2017, 04:26:15 AM
If anyone sends these people money, you're stupid, plain and simple. Greed will make you lose money, and I can't even feel bad for you. If you think this is seriously possible, I don't really know what else to say. They are claiming they can get you 53 MILLION BTC in under a year and a half, more than TWICE the total in existence in 2140. And that's with just a 50 BTC investment. Would take half as long with 100:

Day   Balance
1   50
23   100
46   200
69   400
92   800
115   1600
138   3200
161   6400
184   12800
207   25600
230   51200
253   102400
276   204800
299   409600
322   819200
345   1638400
368   3276800
391   6553600
414   13107200

Hi all,

Took a week away from cryptocurrency and what a wad-full of hate is in my inbox  Huh
I had been in talks with CryptoDatabase as to rebooting the existing Hyper chain; and had forgotten to mention manually kick starting staking in the client.

Has been running fine, I had disabled staking in my own client as I thought others had jumped in.

Eagerly awaiting your response CryptoDatabase  Cool

james

I have to say, going AWOL with work to do that you were already paid to do, without any mention of your absence or plans, is entirely on you. If you don't show up to most jobs for days and make zero attempt to contact your employer to let them know what's going on, you're going to be fired. People can't sit around wondering if a person is ever going to return.

392  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: If you have 10 BTC = Approx $10,000, where would you invest for 1% monthly? on: April 12, 2017, 05:42:57 AM
The annual return offered by freebitco.in is too low, I prefer to buy some coins or tokens and store them for a while, I'm sure I will get much more than this return, the blockchain sector has a great investment opportunities, not only bitcoin, there are many real projects.

Wasn't even aware that they offer interest. That site has changed a LOT over the past year and a half or so. I'm wondering what they are using the coins for, though... there's not enough information to explain how they can reliably pay interest (what if someone deposits 100 BTC? 1000?).
393  Economy / Services / Re: Private Poloniex CryptoTrading Bot seeks 10-20 customers on: April 11, 2017, 06:31:05 PM
Do you happen to have any information on how well it's worked for you? I see its features, but I'm curious as to what your own personal results are like (chart or something else).
394  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Other Alternatives for Earning Bitcoin besides Signature Campaigns? on: April 11, 2017, 06:29:08 PM
I am looking for other alternatives in the Web that have the ability to give us earnings near or more than Signature Campaigns. Maybe .01 Btc weekly is a fine start for it. Do you know anything that can help me earn more? Smiley

BTC is money. Earn it the same way you do money. 0.01 BTC is less than 2 hours' work in most places, so go to work -> get money -> turn to BTC -> have as much BTC as you want to earn. And easy.
395  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: lending on poloniex and bitfinex on: April 10, 2017, 08:54:39 AM
In their defense, they offered up repayment for all users affected through their coins. And just the other day announced that they are doing a full buyout of those coins. So they've done a good job at handling the situation -- far better than most.

Absolutely. It was handled with class but who knows what's around the corner? I presume they make enough in fees to cover a lot of eventualities but not all of them.

Good question. But the takeaway of this, at least to me, is that they took the right path. Where most crumble and run off and go into hiding, they decided they would do the right thing, one way or another. I have a lot of respect for that.
396  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] HaoBTC, mining dividend paid out hourly on: April 10, 2017, 08:49:48 AM
Hello. What bitcoin scaling path HaoBTC is going to support, any ideas?  Roll Eyes

All of them except gambling and exchange heh. They offer mining, hash exchange, investment, everything lol

What do gambling, exchanges, and investments have to do with choosing between BTU and BTC?

My assumption is they are going to stay with BTC, as are most other large miners.
397  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for team members on: April 10, 2017, 08:36:57 AM
I'd like more information on the community side. I could even run a signature campaign or something on behalf of it. I'd need a lot more information about what the project is and all before I'd do that though.

more proof on double of proof

Chris seems pretty active on that elitepvpers forum so I doubt something happened to him (he posts like everyday there).
About that..

Chris his friend 'Spirited' has announced his retirement as Moderator of Elitepvpers by changing his account information to random information. Looks like Chris is going to hide from that website as well.

Man, that's a huge step. Seriously, the support Chris had behind him and his status at EPVP was massive. He could have made FAR more than $200k or whatever it is he got off people here. He could have been racking that in every SINGLE MONTH if he did the right thing. He had the knowledge of how to build the game, he had the status to help push/market it, and he had many followers that would gladly help push the marketing/monetization FOR HIM. And he's thrown all of that away for a minuscule (compared to what he could be racking up in a few months from now) payment. I don't get it. The greed is stupid because not only did he screw over investors, he has screwed HIMSELF (both legally and financially). He had it made. I was even going to get him in front of a MMO readership of over 1m monthly visitors on a regular basis once he was in alpha/beta status.

I already quickly cutting my lost these week. sad a good propsect project gone like this. I just want to know what has happened. Nobody is too stupid scamming people like this unless they has a good backup plan. Or this is just plain simple: noob scammer

Pretty sure it's the latter - noone would be so dumb to leave a footprint without being semi-anon and try and steal that much, these guys are toast unless they are already in venezuela or something crazy. I mean, 300K USD can get you far fast, but not without a trace. especially since the funds were cashed out on bitstamp  Roll Eyes  These fools are probably shitting themselves freaking out regardless at this point... lol.

this is really like a suicide mission. Going rouge, then getting marry and run away. We only speculate about chris. We need to find also the rest of the team. All of them must be held accountable including roy. We dont know if roy really out of the team. The obvious may be not that obvious either.

FWIW, Roy has been pretty upfront with me about things. I'm inclined to believe his story. Compare this to Chris, for example, who is impossible to get a hold of -- I'd think if Roy were an issue, he'd have gone radio silent as well.

goin silent at this critical moment is stupid. There are digging themsleves deeper into the problem. I hope roy will also post here and explain his side of the story and how far the project has developed. It is for his good interest to explain himself here since he WAS part of the project.

Actually not sure if he even knows its progress... based on our talk, I believe he was essentially an independent contractor working on the project (so his knowledge of the wholistic project may be limited).
400  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Cryptolend.net - Automatic online lending on: April 09, 2017, 06:21:05 AM
Is there any fee for using this system, and can you set it up to be dynamic or do you have to set the % you're going for?

Crypto Lend does not cost whatsoever, and you can choose a strategy for the types of loans/% return. First you put your Bitcoin on one of the supported exchanges. In your profile on the exchange you can generate an API key, which you copy over to your Crypto Lend profile. This allows the Crypto Lend bot to loan out funds on your behalf. By ensuring "Withdraw" permissions are disabled when you generate your API key, you can have some extra peace of mind that Crypto Lend does not even have the ability to withdraw your money from your exchange account. You can always login to the exchange to see your loans, including the ones made by the Crypto Lend bot.

After copying over your API key and secret, go to the Crypto Lend "Strategy" page to Activate lending on the exchange. Every few minutes the Crypto Bot checks your account(s) through the APIs, and if there are funds in your Lending account on the exchange it'll automatically choose the best rates according to your strategy. I use the default strategy, sometimes the Crypto Bot takes an offered loan and other times it offers my funds as a new loan.

Also note that the "Loans" page shows averages for the day in GMT.

Thanks for the response! Not sure if you're part of the CL team, but if so, curious as to where the monetization comes into play for CL itself. It's not a free service to run, so it has to be financed from somewhere/something.
