821  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [VOTE] HYPER - The Gaming Currency on: November 16, 2016, 06:43:19 AM
Did my vote and looks like the majority is with me so far. Curious as to what the cost is going to be though (the new coin, getting it set up and everything). I think that may be an important decision for some people in terms of viability.

Well for me I continue to buy VTY with the BTC I earn from faucets and you'll be surprised at how fast your stack of VTY grows as the current price is so cheap. For example this past weekend I was able to buy 100K VTY as I was paid just over 100,000 sats from a BTC faucet and I have been doing this every so often to build on my stack which I then earn from the staking so it's a win win for me. And also it's a great way for people who don't have much money and want to invest in VTY and it also helps out the coin and community.

The 1 satoshi sell wall is almost gone on YoBit as well. Down to just 0.1 BTC, as opposed to 1.4+ a few days ago!

Yes this is a good sign as it shows that there are people buying VTY out there and maybe it's even new investors coming in and buying as well which is great for the coin.

I highly recommend that you buy at least 5 million Victoriouscoin, the Vip Holders group give aways are really awesome.

I am getting courses and e-books worth from $25 to $200 and these are premium courses and e-books not something you can download free .

People should take a long look at the vip group it is really the best deal in the crypto currency world.

I would love to but I don't have enough space on my Laptop to download VTY wallet and am currently using POSWallet to store and stake my VTY coins. I am hoping to get a new computer soon and then I will most likely buy a large amount of VTY.

Get your coins off PoSWallet as soon as possible. I wrote about my experience earlier but they completely screwed me and stole coins (around 0.1 BTC, if not more), excluding loss of stakes from other coins. Do not trust them.

Well to be honest I have not had any issues with POSWallet at all, yes sometimes the coins take a while to show up in my balance but I always receive them. I don't have many coins on there anyway so if something does happen I wont loose too much BTC. I'm sorry for your loss.

This reminds me of the hundreds of people claiming Mt Gox, Cryptsy, etc. weren't having issues because THEY had no issues... until everyone loses everything. But to each their own. All I can do is warn people. I've called every failing site out so far before they crashed. PoSWallet will just be the next,:p
823  Economy / Gambling / Re: [LOTTERY] SatoshiLottery - Play 0.25 mBTC, WIN 4 BTC!. Lowest odds in the world. on: November 15, 2016, 11:06:15 PM
Why is the thread titled "Lowest odds in the world" when it's not even close? The real lottery has much higher return (lower odds), and even in the crypto realm there's yabctl or whatever it is and JackpotRacer, which is 10m:1 odds.
824  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌟Bitvest🌟 - Investor Plinko, Slot, Roulette, Bit Spin | 99% Dice Released! on: November 15, 2016, 09:20:26 PM
We have just sent out a survey link to all our mid to large sized investors via PM in our chat. Please check your inbox if you have an investment with us, We would like to hear your feedback.

Done. The last question was rough. We have a few days to finalize our answer, correct? I put in a short-term one but am not 100% sure if I'll stick with it if we still have a few days to decide.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] HYPER ~ Game Currency ~MMOs ~Poker ~ 20+ Servers~ShapeShift.io ~RPG +More! on: November 15, 2016, 07:23:17 PM
Instead of dreaming about the future of hyper and making suggestions about how the coin should evolve I think users need to start organizing and suggesting how they can donate their own time and funds to keep hyper alive as it currently exists.

The coin in its current state code wise cannot be sustained. Bunnies cry when my wallet needs to be restarted, it takes a minimum of 45 minutes just to open up and a whole lot longer to sync.

Same here. I gave up trying to load the wallet when doing anything else. I just do it overnight now and merge inputs/close wallet when I wake up so it doesn't keep crippling my system.

"Hey honey!"

 "What!?!?"

"I just scammed us $4.82 in bitcoins!"

"Hot dayum I luvz u! I'll call the meth dealer asap!"

Still a better love story than Twilight...
827  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: CoinAdNet - The Bitcoin Advertising Network on: November 15, 2016, 07:24:32 AM
Tagging the thread to follow. Also, do you have a way of analyzing traffic to ensure it's legitimate? Especially with cheaper ad networks, that is a huge concern (from botted traffic).
828  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitFactor - AdSense and BitCoin, Monetize your website! on: November 15, 2016, 07:03:36 AM
why the disappeared site bitfactor.space ?

Costs money to manage it and it's risky: all it takes is one bad publisher to get your account banned. It's good in theory but in reality, the risks are far too great.

831  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where Can I invest in Bitcoin Casino? on: November 15, 2016, 06:25:48 AM
Betking would be the most profitable bitcoin casino to invest in right now. Lots of whales and albeit the not very consistent volume still attracts big bets like 200 bitcoins each or even more regularly. Your other options would be crypto games and bitvest.

Don't forget MoneyPot, which allows you to invest in many casinos at once. And you can create your own as well.
832  Economy / Securities / Re: Invest in gambling site (what you think) on: November 15, 2016, 05:24:57 AM
It depends on luck a lot. Cause in order for you to make money, someone s gotta gamble and lose. If they win instead, u ll lose. So no safe bet there.

Every investment comes with some kind of risks and because of risk instead just give up, it is good to find options to reduce your losses. Like if you diversify your funds into few good gambling sites then your chances of making losses will reduce a lot and in the long run, you will surely make good profit.

I don't understand the risk on this investiment.

As casinos make profit on long term, we will make profit on long term with them, no? So, there is no chance to lose money with it. The only risk is if the casino closes or be hacked within our money there.

It looks like you never invested on any casino bankroll. Yes in the long run casino will make a profit for sure but if you're looking for money in the next few months time, then you may or may not make a profit. If you look at last few months moneypot investors profit then you will come to know that you can lose money in this kind of investment also.

At the same time, if you invested in the past few weeks you'd actually be up by a decent amount, Smiley.

Personally i like current stake rate and roadmap for staking stages divided in three phases. I think that is no big deal and not even a problem.

Only what bothers me is, of course being a pain in everyone's ass, RAM and CPU consumption, but even that is somehow declining, don't know why, but i have been measuring the consumption for the last past month and RAM consumption rarly exceeds 1GB. Ok, the wallet itself is really clumsy at the beginning, you need to wait for blockchain to start synchronization ect., that is something that needs to be fixed, but is it mandatory? Probably.

Please, dont understand me wrong, i am for the changes to happen, just want to express my feelings, will support you in further possible development process.

If there is a staking rate being put in a debate, what rate instead we should use and how that affects on staking stages? And what staking rate we should vote for and will there still be 3 stages, maybe more, less?

And if we move to another HYPER phase, we should also renamed HYPER to something like HYPER 2.0 or similar (or HY2ER, HYP2ER, etc...), so that we mark the change in the history of the development.

HYPER v3.0, aka HYP3R
836  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Have a Bitcoin, What Will You Do on: November 14, 2016, 05:32:39 AM
Invest it in MoneyPot's bankroll and earn from multiple online casinos, Smiley.
837  Economy / Gambling / Re: Where Can I invest in Bitcoin Casino? on: November 14, 2016, 04:30:03 AM
MoneyPot is a good one, as you can invest in many casinos at once, and you can create your own site using the API and get commission off player bets through it. So you earn two ways: investment income plus commission income.

I created a thread for a new wallet in the services section, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1679966

Great post. Thanks! I'll keep watch on this, Smiley.

To confirm, are we just looking for a new wallet for the existing HYPER or a new coin/wallet altogether to convert into for a community takeover?

Personally I want a new coin with less of a stake rate but something like this would be huge and would require input from everyone to see if this is something everyone wants.

That's something I am 100% behind myself. I think we should work on the end result, rather than an intermediate (i.e., if the final decision is a new coin, we should be finding a dev for that instead of for "fixing" the current HYPER wallet).

I'd love to hear other opinions, but I'll be honest: as it is, I see no alternative than to do a fresh start and convert existing HYPER over. There were multiple flaws with the original concept, such as the interest rate, that need to be fixed.
