Huy guys ! 3 quick questions for all you master of GPU mining. 1- I got some GTX 1070 on the way, i will be mining Zcash and other coin. What's the avg best Mod for those kind of cards ? 2- I have a rig on Win 10 using the august blockchain driver, works fine with the 4xx series but for the 5xx serie the voltage mod doesn't work and i'm pumping way too much watt for nothing. I red about installing Afterburner version whatever Beta 16 to manually set the voltage but I would prefer to use another driver that will take the Claymore command. Any of you use another driver for your RX580 ? 3- I will be using Simple mining for my next farm. Does Simple mining have the issue that I have with win 10 ? (Guess not but who knows  ) Thanks guys Herb |

I updated the pool to point to https://btc.com for external stats such as block info and estimated difficulty. Previously it was pointed at bitcoin wisdom for the difficulty tracker. I don't know if the devs abandoned it, or simply don't care any more, but the tracker is way off and the price hasn't moved from $2546 in forever. Bitcoin is still hovering near $12,000. I'm still giving away 1 BTC to the next block finder. Good luck everyone! I think we all wish we started in the beginning...wouldn't that have been a hoot  I started in 2011. I which I hadn't spent 50 BTC on Jalapeno and Block Erupters! If we all kept our bitcoin and did "nothing with it" we wouldn't be were we are at the moment. Never forget that. |

They have a poor rma policy . Do not admit you mine. I had the rx480s they had two models one was very good, Let me look. The red devil was the good one the red dragon was meh We have 4 rx 470/480s with the Red Devil cooler in my wife's small farm and I have a Rx 480 Red Devil in one of our personal gaming PCs. I really like all of them, very good coolers and zero problems in the 8-12 months that we have owned them. They have a very nice hefty feel to them and are much better quality then any other Powercolor cooler I have had my hands on in the past ~7 years or so. I have a red devil rx470 and only 1. One fan is about to fail. I cannot buy a new one from them (We have no stock) I have to do a full RMA. Told me to check for 3rd party but never answered my about the spec of the fan. Not impress at all. their rma policy is bad. evga is the best for rma. I had one RMA with MSI (blown cap) Service was great with them |

im having the very same issue, but with a pny gtx 1060, sad thing is only less than 2 months old.. Mine is almost a year old ... Asked Power Color to buy a new one. Short answer. NO, we don't do that as we don't have the pieces. (LOL ?) Good luck with Power Color - in my experiences they have the worst customer service. I finally got my replacement for a card that went bad (it took over 3 months, they sent me a dud card first so I had to pay again to send to them. When I finally got a working replacement they downgraded my card. Leaving messages at their customer service number and on their "Power Color cares" form is a waste of time, and tech support said that's all they had in stock. Thanks for the feedback. I have only one card from them and it'll be the last one ! I will check for 3 party replacement. or just add an external fan. |

Group buy is best way to go.
Giving these resellers that extra premium is waste of money really.
In the coming months, even 60k,90k,100k bulk orders will be soon out of stock - IMHO, with the rate BTC is climbing and after all the China ban drama -- its clear signal to BTC=5k and beyond.
I dread the day, that small miners will have no more leeway to access BTC ASICS mining equipment because only large farms have mass purchasing power to manufacturers main inventory.
Sidehack is right..... Canaan, like Bitmain will always prioritize larger farm orders and they should in order to stay in business.... otherwise its easy to suffer the same fate like Spondoolies Tech and others.
BTW, shout-out to Allan and team for hosting my group's Asics miners. Satisfied customer since June 2016.

I got the ryzen 1800x as it does hash the shit out of xmr.
From what I hear the 1950X does about 1300 h/s for XMR. So if the 1800X does 530 and makes $1.40 then the 1950X should make $3.40 a day. The ROI time would be close for both chips and makes it very tempting. 36-52 kwatts july  I wish I had an option for expension at the moment. I'm maxed out. This solar setup is quite awesome. |
