I don't like taking in money on things I can't deliver immediately or awful close to it. But sometimes it's necessary to get enough cash in hand to buy parts for a full batch.

It's all about trust IMO. Since we all know you can deliver a quality product in time, it's not a problem for me. If it was 6 month pre-order that would different. 2 weeks it's no big deal, if the trust is there. We all know that the money will be in good hands and is needed for the good of the project.

Talked with Valkir during the weekend. (Very cool guy btw)

I might be interested to join you guys if you can settled a deal. (SP50 would be great)

I will be following the thread.

WoW,

So I tough my nightmare was done when I lost 1 day for the custom in China ... Guess What ... Took 1 day in the US and it's taking 1 more day in the Canada.

Did they send me drugs instead of miners ?

I never see that before... either it's bad luck, DHL sucks or i'm been flag by my government ...

DHL "Express" yeah right ...
1092  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [SIDEHACK STICK] Group Buy for Canada on: September 23, 2015, 05:28:27 PM
Woah 125$ border fee? Thats crazy for a 525$ import, make sure they didn't do a mistake and are trying to fuck us over!

For shipping, for me just use a bubble envelope. For instance 50-100g would be 1.80$ postage fee. The envelope are 1.79 for one or like 5$ for a pack of 10. (All CAD prices)

yeah something is not right as the fees should be like 5%-10% ? It's like 2.5 times what it should be.

Make sure they did use the right category of custom fees for the package.

Sent me your address in a PM and I will come get them tomorrow ! (Or when you're available)

thanks

Yeah already contacted Bitmain (email) and DHL (phone)

Spoon was using DHL, never had an issue :/

Sucksssss
Had a similar incident when I received my S7 with UPS. BITMAIN didn't set up any sort of customs broker, so UPS phoned me a bunch of times until they got ahold of me. If the same thing is happening to you a phone call to DHL should sort it out, did anything come from phoning them?

Thy said they would put someone from DHL china on this and I gave them my phone.
She told me it was probably some document missing ...

I also warned Bitmain about it.

I guess i'm screwed from for a few days ... already lost a day on this...

Used DHL and mine is at

5   Clearance event   SHENZHEN - CHINA, PEOPLES REPUBLIC   02:47

Details =>  Clearance is pending as the shipment will be cleared by the importer's designated external Broker.

Should I contact Bitmain ?

EDIT1: Apparently they didn't properly fill all the documents .... hope this is not going to take forever to fix ....
EDIT2: No ones in the same boat ?.
EDIT3: I'm really pissed off ...

I think DHL is one of the outlier companies.. most use FedEx or UPS

I would agree.  I avoid using DHL like the plague.    There are a few that prefer it.  But I think it's a very small few overall.

I would contact DHL and ask them what they need.  If it's something you can do or if you need bitmain to do someting.

when does the hosting invoices get sent out? it's just my first time and dont know how it works with you.

Best.

You'll received an email and the proper instruction to pay the fees (Either Paypal or BTC).

Don't worry if you didn't received it yet, it should arrived in the next few days,
