81  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you do if you find yourself in a similar situation like this? on: April 30, 2024, 07:21:15 AM

Assuming you find yourself in a similar situation as this, what will you do? How will you handle the situation to make your parents trust you again?

Very hard if I'm in this situation, but I would have to man up and tell my parents what had happen and ask for forgiveness and hope that they will pardoned me, which likely I think any parents will do specially if they know that their kids is not like this before. And in term, I will really go away from gambling for good and I will not waste this chances that my parents give me. Not everyday that you will here this kind of situations though and it's really hard to get out of it. And try everything to amend your relationships with your parents and show that you are still deserving of their trust.
82  Economy / Speculation / Re: Simple prediction: 2024 bitcoin at 200.000 dollars on: April 27, 2024, 10:02:16 AM
Not this year, I do not think so. I get that some people may want something like this, and that could be reasonable if you "want" it, but that would be way too much increase. We are talking about more than x3 in less than a year, we have about what 7 or so months left? Tripling the money in 7 months makes no sense at all if you ask me and that is not going to happen.

I personally believe that we are going to see maybe 100k if we are lucky and that's about it, I do not see that the price would be more than that. This is of course my speculation and my prediction, I could be wrong and if I am wrong and the price goes to 200k then I would be much richer so I do hope that I am wrong on this one, but I fear that unfortunately I am not wrong on this one and we won't go up that much.
I also think so, although Bitcoin price movements have been quite positive in the last few months with continued increases, but I don't think this year there will be a significant increase to reach 200k.

The price of 100k has been waiting for quite a long time and many people believe that it will happen at the next ATH after we saw the ATH in 2021, but everything happened not as predicted this year, the increase that occurred made a new ATH, although after that it was corrected again It's small that happens but for 100k this year I think it's more realistic.
It was the target last bull run, and it was magnified by a certain prediction modelling that we will hit $100k in 2021. Unfortunately it didn't went well and that model was invalidated already. Now, we are in another bull run and maybe this is the right time that we can predict that indeed a 6 digit price is about to be reach. We have positive news like the Spot Bitcoin ETF being approved that pushes the price to $73k, a new all time high but it is pre-halving. But let's see how big this bull run is, the halving activity is already completed, price is above $60k++ and we have the next months to reach $100k. $200k though is too big for this bull run in my opinion, not impossible but it will take billions of money to flow into our market.
83  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Subriel Matias VS Liam Paro IBF Super Lightweight June 15th Manati, Puerto Rico. on: April 27, 2024, 09:00:30 AM
I saw Matias's highlight on YouTube recently he is one of the boxers I want to watch right now, thankfully he has this upcoming fight and we can expect that it will be another exciting match. Matias might be underrated, but his skills and determination to become a known world champion are there, and the guy is just wrecking his opponent, making them quit after fighting him. I wonder why he is still unknown? he needs some exposure in the West or the Middle East or his talent will be wasted and he won't get as much money as he can with it. need a reliable promoter to promote him.
Most of the boxers that are popular are undefeatd, he had one loss against Petros Ananyan, so that's a negative in his record. Maybe the time will come if he continue winning, he'll be able to have a big fight with the popular champion in the industry and win, then that will be a big break for his career.

In the current division he is at being a champion, there are other champions that are popular than him, if he'll able to unify the belt and he succeed, then that's it. Names like Teofimo Lopez, Rolando Romero, and Devin Haney... I think he could challenge them.
Romero and Haney already lost though, it's not Pitbull Cruz, although Haney retained his WBC belt because Ryan Garcia didn't meet the weight requirement of 140 lbs. But as far as Matias, yeah, he has power in both hands but he still hasn't break into the American fans. But maybe this fight might propel him if ever he wins and this fight like goes into a war like Fundora and Tszyu and then Matias win? I think his name might be in the radar of Teo for unification fight. Teo though is the lineal champion at 140 lbs, and for me he will be the A-side whoever he faces any other champions in this division including Matias.
84  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 27, 2024, 08:40:44 AM
Sadly I am not a huge boxing expert, but those 1-2kg extra make so much different when fighting a professional boxer? If a person is 10+ heavier, than I know how his punches feel and feel difference in strength. But they are professionals, the must know how to turn other boxers difference compared to you into your advantage. Devin must knew how to turn those extra 3.2lb into advantage for him. Heavier opponents always is slower and looses stamina faster. He must have adopted to "heavier version Garcia" during the fight. Instead he ate Garcias left hook after just one minute of the fight.
But it seems that Haney is the heavier in the fight? So I guess there excuse that Ryan is heavier excuse is not true at all, Ryan was really that good and Haney was not able to adjust in that fight. They were caught by surprised by the power of that left hook, although I will say that Haney's father should expect that. Haney admitted that they slept on Ryan's power. So they understand him thinking that they can just bully him. And in this lost, it just shows maybe that Haney didn't win the fight against Loma as well. If Loma had the power then maybe he can also put Haney in the canvass.

Anyone here this news?

85  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you need help? on: April 26, 2024, 01:10:41 PM
Hello,friends
I created this topic because i know that a lot of traders have numerous psychological problems as a result of their work
These are constant neurosis, fear of loss, aggression on others, suspiciousness and many other symptoms that poison your life
Especially it is observed in people who lost a lot of money because of trading and can not recover from it,feel like losers
I too have faced all this and was treated for a year and i know exactly how to get rid of it
If you need any help, you can write me in pm
Don't worry,i'm not going to charge you,it's all from the heart
You don't have to describe your problems here, because this conversation is supposed to be confidential
If you don't need help, just pass by

-Regards
Why write you in PM, just post your experience and how you get over with it in this community simply as that. And what makes you an "expect" or this subject though? I guess it's better to go and call numbers being listed from professionals if you really wanted to talk to someone, just your about trading and crypto. And what's the catch, are you going to charge them for fees for seeking him from you? And if someone here needs help, then they will simply go and create a topic for themselves, anyone here is anonymous and confidential instead of just sending you PM.
86  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 26, 2024, 12:28:49 PM

It's all over for the Lakers now. Thing could've been different if they steal that game 2 from the Nuggets home court. Game 3 was actually the same story as game 2, only that the Nuggets played a better 3rd quarter so they were able to flip the lead on their advantage easily as the Lakers' offense once again are lacking. They started strong but couldn't sustain it and totally lost in 2nd half, especially in the 4th quarter. They gave up too early then tried to make a small come back during the dying seconds.

As expected, they can't handle the Nuggets since those guys how exactly they execute great games to counter whatever the Lakers have prepared. They clearly showed in these last 3 games that the span between their skills right now is miles away. there's no way the Lakers can win this one and they could be swept again this year. They just need to win a game that's all because nothing can be more shameful than getting swept by the same opponent two years in a row but the good thing is, they were swept by the champion last year.
Their team is not build to beat the Nuggets, specially they don't have anyone to guard Jokic. Rui is too small and AD will get into foul trouble. And then they have others to deal with like Jamal Murray, although Vincent is doing good defensively, it's not enough. Porter Jr, despite his issues with his brothers are shooting very well in this series and no one can stop him at that position as well. And the veteran Aaron Gordon, good at defending Lebron in the wings and then he also has the basketball IQ to cut when Jokic is double team for easy two. To be fair, any team in the West right now might have a difficult time dealing with the Nuggets offensive, led by Jokic. So probably the Lakers will need another overhaul, just like what they did after winning a championship. Maybe Austin Reaves is the only player that I think will remain with AD and Lebron. D'Lo 0 points in a must-win game is unacceptable unless he comes back in game 4 with a big offensive flow and help the team win.
87  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 26, 2024, 08:04:11 AM
Finally, Devin made an official announcement after the beating he wants a rematch at an agreed weight but
he is making excuses about the additional weight when in fact he agreed and bet and claimed the $1.6 million its his fault that he agreed to proceed even if Ryan is overweight.
Champions don't make excuses, I hope he gets better the next opponent is already announced so he should prepare for Sandor Martin.

Agreed. However, I am beginning to speculate that the bet on their weight cut might be a trick for Devin Haney to accept and continue the fight if King Ry was overweight hehehehe. I reckon after the tricks that was done to King Ry by the rehydration clause enforcer Tank Davis, King Ry has learned that the war begins before they fight in the boxing ring. I am very much excited for this new version of King Ry and his next fight! I wish this will be against Tank on catchweight.
Or it could backfire on Ryan Garcia moving forward? I mean his future opponents know his trick now and so they won't just ride on the speculations that he is crazy and not trying or partying before the fight because this is want Ryan wanted to portray. And so we can see that is very effective as Bill and Devin admitted that they have been trick here. So whoever Ryan's next opponent will be, he will have to know before hand that this is a psyche war that Ryan and everything is for publicity stunt and so his opponents should focus on the fight not on Ryan social media posts or what he tries to show in public.
88  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does affilate programs work in casinos? on: April 26, 2024, 07:07:11 AM
That's correct. So, if one person is not the type to do these things then it won't be a successful one. Finding the right target audience will be the key to making a high number of referrals or affiliates and then we have to make sure that they will deposit and gamble because it would be nonsense if we made them register under our name or referral link and then they will not gamble at all.
Most gambling sites will pay through a percentage of the referred gambler, like 3-7 percent of his total deposited money or maybe less. I wish they also add a percentage of their wagered amount but I doubt that because it could go to thousands of dollars wagered while the gambler has not lost that much yet. I've done that before in just $10 deposited money, I somehow made my way to a $2000 wagered amount before all of it was gone. It's like playing tag with the gambling site.
Yep,

I did promoting my referral link on my signature space, not sure how long I wear it, probably 3-6 months. But I only get less than 10 referrals, most of them didn't gamble, some of them use faucet to gamble, either 1-2 users made deposit, but the amount was too low, I can't even withdraw my reward. Cheesy

If someone put all of their effort and time to become affiliate, believe me you can't even survive...

Those streamers who become affiliate have many income sources, affiliate is just like a bonus.
And it's about the competition as well as there are a lot of individuals too who try to be affiliate and went the whole nine yards but was not successful in the end. In short, this is a niche market and unless you are a authority, a well known personality in the gambling world, it's very hard to earn money thru this method. I also did this before, maybe got 1-2 active gamblers, earn some, but it's not like you are going to survived from it. Not saying that we can't be successful, but you really need to work very hard, go to different gambling forums and then reintroduce yourself before gaining some gamblers to sign under you.
89  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Does your Sig-Camp Manager counts gambling posts that moved to off topic on: April 26, 2024, 06:09:56 AM
I know some of you noticed that some of the threads or topics from the gambling discussion section were moved to the off-topic section. Well, I haven't experienced having any of my posts moved to the off-topic section. I just want to ask, if this has already happened to you, does your signature campaign manager still count or pay for posts that have been moved to the off-topic section?

It won't be counted as most signature campaign manager will not allow it. And so with that the best thing to do is,

  • post more than what your campaign requirements are, if it says 20, then post 22 or 23, it wouldn't hurt you that extra post. And it so in cases like this, post being moved to off-topic then at least you still have buffer post
  • usually if the post is not gambling related, i.e. there are topics about some neighbors or friends getting addicted and asking what the community advises, then it should not be in gambling boards . Then think twice before replying as this might be moved by the mods or someone reported it as off-topic post
90  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Israil Madrimov vs Terrence Crawford on: April 25, 2024, 08:08:06 AM
The best fight on this stacked card might be Tim Tszyu vs. Vergil Ortiz. Ortiz was once considered one of the most promising prospects and was ranked #1 by the WBO, where Crawford was champion, and was also WBA mandatory. Unfortunately, his career was derailed by weight problems and health issues. Tszyu has proven to be a great fighter and will probably be favored, but if Ortiz can reach the potential many believed he had then he is capable of overcoming those odds.
Hopefully we can finally see Vergil Ortiz again, he has a promising career because health issues took over. Not sure if he is still in his prime though, but him and Tszyu will be crazy fight.

For the main event, this is another nondescript Crawford opponent who looks good on paper but we have yet to see him tested at an elite level. I expect it to be a typical Crawford fight, where he might start slow but becomes increasingly more dominant as the rounds pass and he makes adjustments.
Yes, and it's obvious that this is just a get busy fight for Crawford, just to make his body and mind active and instead of waiting for Spence or even a hypothetical Canelo fight, he might as well accept this fight, take the purse and the money, easy fight for him and so his hype is going to continue.
91  Economy / Speculation / Re: another ATH , 71k and still climbing. on: April 25, 2024, 12:58:37 AM
Personally I still hold it. Even though currently the price of bitcoin tends to fall, I am sure that in the next opportunity the price of bitcoin will reach a much higher ATH than before. My target is not just $75k but $100k, and I am determined to continue hold until the price of bitcoin reaches $100k.

I like this type of attitude. People and investors need to have clarity like this. If you are investing in Bitcoins, then you need to think of something big. I have often seen the investors get into fear and panic sell the coins when price starts falling. Instead what they can really do is think this as an opportunity and buy the coins at cheap price. I have even heard that many people are planning to hold the coins till it reaches 500k USD. So lets hope for the best and keep on accumulating the coins.
Everyone here think of something big with our investments, and then we have learn thru the years that it is possible. It's really that simply, but it will take a lot of mental fortitude. Because what we gonna do is to buy when the price is low, and that is in bear market, so that is around 2021-2022. And then build your portfolio till 2025. It's not just because we hit all time high already that we will sell right away. We still need a year, to reach new all time high and the prediction is that it will be around 6 digits. So that's where the mental toughness comes in because you still have to wait one full year, + patience in order to make a lot of money in Bitcoin market. But the thing is that many have done it before, so it's just really up to us to stay focus and believed that we can also do it.
92  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 25, 2024, 12:28:10 AM
I won't say that they've choke, yeah, they build a early lead and it was eaten slowly by the Nuggets. But they were able to stay in the game, albeit, AD was in foul trouble. But Lebron did try to rally the team, but it's wasn't meant for them as Murray had the last say. If they lost like in the 4th quarter and then the Nuggets won big then yeah you can call it choke.

But it was tied and they could have go to OT and maybe the outcome could be different. Now, it's need to survived and win game 3 to stay in this series, otherwise as I have said, it could be 4-1 for the Nuggets.
Analyzing that game, I'm seeing a lot of blame to Lebron and Darvin Ham. This only shows the love of the fans to Lakers and they want to see them move on to the semis.

A lose is a lose and Nuggets was just too good and composed with it. They've been into these kinds of situations and also with the Lakers but we can see on how AD is a valuable guy to the team.

He's made a lot of points but when he's got into foul trouble, we've seen them that they've become like limited.

4-1 is also what I am seeing a lot of people saying.
I think man for man, it could be a split 50/50 between the two teams. But in the end, the Lakers failed to protect their lead and execute their plays. There are even moments that James look frustrated, but he still managed to go and the game was closed. That is the heart of the champion, Nuggets shows composure and we have seen that championship DNA in them in this two games as the Lakers will take the lead and then they make a huge comeback and then this winning shot by Murray. 4-1? Maybe, it will all depend on the next game at Lakers homecourt. Darvin Ham should show his strength here as a coach as a exit in this playoff could also mean that he will have to find another coaching job somewhere.
93  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How does clogged mempool affect your crypto business? on: April 24, 2024, 09:49:24 PM
Thank god we're slowly hitting normal levels again.

Is the runes hype joever 'for now'?  -- maybe because of the slight dump? and/or folks were just rushing to do transactions before 4th halving which is already over?

In any case, brc-20 hype will start again once btc pumps, I suggest making preparations early like keeping low fee altcoins. For businesses with BTC-only currency, best we could do as users is to suggest alternative payment methods.
I wouldn't say it's over, it might have slowed down though, and it you have been observing the market, around this time, there is not that much volume. I'm speculating that in the US timezone, people and brc-20 backers or enthusiasts are sleeping. But let's see in the next couple of hours, if my speculation is correct then we might slowly see the mempool being clogged again by Runes or whatever they called it. And for Bitcoin enthusiast, who have been waiting to transfer some Bitcoin because they needed to exchange it to fiat, then this is the best time to do that as it is <50 sat/vB.
94  Economy / Economics / Re: What scares me from investing in gold. on: April 24, 2024, 06:59:41 AM
Quote
For those who don't know Costco is a very popular supermarket in the US that sells everything from grocery to consumer electronics.

I live in Europe and I have never seen a supermarket selling gold bars. The USA is weird. Grin
I'm not interested in buying/selling gold, so I don't know anything about tips/tricks on how to not get scammed.
I've seen horror stories about some people buying fake gold from scammers, but I don't know if this is true or a lie.
Pawn shops are the best place to sell gold or maybe you should find offers about people wanting to buy gold on classified ads sites like Craigslist(these are not safe as well). There's always a certain level of risk involved, when you are dealing with someone, whom you don't trust.
I'm not from the US or Europe as well, but yes, it was very strange to hear that a supermarket store in the US is selling gold bars? How can you attest that what they are selling is 99% at best Gold? The closest that I can get my hands on this gold and become investment to me is gold jewelries. I have a 50 grams gold bracelet and others that I have been holding for years and yes it is a good investment as the price of gold appreciates. But buying gold bar? not for me though, I mean it's hard to transfer and then how are you going to keep it at home? Go to bank and have it in a safety deposit box? What if you just want to sell or pawn it at times because you need quick money?
95  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impactation of Bitcoin halving and my opinion on: April 24, 2024, 06:24:18 AM
But isn't it obvious that after the halving, we reaches new all time high? So that is the impact that we all have been seeing and experiencing ever since. Bitcoin investors accumulate and hold and then sell on the right time, great ROI for everyone. Bitcoin miners continue to support the network, we paid them, then they make money, simply as that. And those average joe like the rest of us have learn and mature, followed DCA or do traders, so same result with whales, we also make money and we enjoyed our financial freedom because of Bitcoin and it's design to halved every 4 years and pushed the price as supply is dwindling, but the demand is at a record level. So what else do we need to discussed?
96  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: April 24, 2024, 06:03:36 AM
And the hype is still there for Ryan Garcia, as he released this music videos,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hgmP9tpeHFw

Lol, but that's how he is, still capitalizing in his big win and so everyone is jumping on the bandwagon. Everyone is praising him, while there are former boxers like Thurman and Broner hitting on Haney and his dad for this big lost.

Everyone should watch this interview with Ryan Garcia. He talks about everything and how his roadmap from the beginning to the end of this fight with Haney was planned weeks before already. However, I have a question for everyone. Ryan appears to be acting like he is a super jesus, bible, born again, christian who is praising the lord and he said the holy spirit is showing him the future. But is this real or is he trolling everyone again? I reckon it appear that he might be trolling again or he might really be crazy heheheh.

https://youtu.be/LXtXcYUIO0M?si=0VYFi7xJCuo21Jbw
I didn't watch the video, it's too long. But Ryan Garcia has been acting like that before isn't it? He always call Jesus before and after the fight. So that is his persona if I'm not mistaken. But it's hard to judge whether he is a true Christian or Catholic with all his praises. Other boxers too, called for God or Jesus like Manny Pacquiao. So good for him, as he fooled us, but there are some truth in what he said, he is going into divorce and maybe it really put pressure on him or at least it bothered him during the fight that it causes him to act like a troll. But since he won, already, his strategy is perfect and Devin was affected by Ryan's antics before the fight.
97  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 23, 2024, 08:22:03 PM
I still can’t believe that Ryan Garcia fooled everyone and got the win last weekend. I’m happy for him but I honestly didn’t think he had a chance with where his mind was at. He cost me a pretty big parlay victory as the final leg I needed, but I’m honestly glad for him. Had he lost that fight it very well could have been the end of his career.
I know, I remember your post about him and his mental state. But like the majority of us who thinks that he will not survived this fight, everyone was fooled and we lost our money betting against King Ry. On the other hand, there are reports that he bet on himself to win as he was a like a 7:1 underdog and obviously wins millions to cover what he had lost in the bet and paying the Haney's $1.5 million. I don't think that it will be the end of his career if he lost, but surely his popularity will take a hit and maybe not sell that much tickets next. But it's just the start for Ryan as Oscar is talking about the future from 147 lbs to 154 lbs fight and Ryan being the new face of boxing.
98  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the Reluctance? on: April 23, 2024, 11:10:20 AM
Even if it is legal on some countries, there are strict laws to be followed. And so with some gaming providers, their licenses are not enough to quality to offer their games in even in a legal countries. In short, regulation is still the problems for some casinos and providers and the licenses they get to operate. And with that, it doesn't mean that the countries allowed gambling that anyone can go and offer their casinos to that country country specially online. In traditional based casino's it might be different, they could legally operated as long as they are going to pay huge taxes to the government and then operate under the regulations on the local regulators.
99  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul to Fight Mike Tyson in Live Netflix Boxing Event - July 20 on: April 23, 2024, 10:40:39 AM
I agree that there won't be any serious type of "fight" going on, we will see the fight cut short if anything even remotely serious ends up for any of the fighters, but mine is more like unexpected punches type of thing. While we know that Mike Tyson packs a punch, meaning he could punch just once, a proper hit, like connects right to the chin, and Jake would be out cold, but I believe Jake would recover from that easily.

However, considering his age, I fear that if Jake gets lucky, not something that's easily possibly, I mean like lets assume he gets purely lucky, and punches right on the chin, Mike could have something that ruins rest of his life, just one bad punch and suddenly it's very dangerous for Mike Tyson. That's what I fear, that one punch.

If there is anyone with one punch that could alter someone's life it was, is and always will be Mike's lol.  He is a differemt person in the ring.  Obviously at his age he can't go tons of rounds but if I was Paul I wouldn't go anywhere near Mike in the first couple minutes.  Exhibition or not Mike is a killer once inside those ropes.

The problem is that he won't use that punch even if he wanted to. The fight is practically planned, it won't be what we expect. I still see a lot of expectation in something that is clearly saying the opposite
That's remain to be seen, if the fight is rigged or not. As boxing fans, we do hope that is not the case because it will really hurt Tyson's legacy. He should at least not let Jake Paul beat him and beat him bad in this fight. He has been training very hard as what we have seen in the videos already, so for me I doubt that the fight has been set up from the beginning. But as reported, with $20 million on the line, we don't know, maybe there could be some "gentleman's agreement" between the two. They have captured the fans right now, and even if Jake Paul is the favorite, there are still some of us here hoping that Tyson will show sharp and vicious as ever and then knock out Jake Paul for good.
100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Everyone is celebrating about the fourth halving but what is this? on: April 23, 2024, 10:18:29 AM
During the halving, people may have made larger transactions that caused the free to be higher, although people with higher fees did not wait to complete their transactions. People were more aware when Bitcoin halved, and although they were more interested in trading in Bitcoin, many people were discouraged from trading because of the high gas fees. However, at the time of the halving, even though gas fees had increased significantly, many people did not trade and instead waited. Although Bitcoin transaction fees have come down a lot now, if we can wait a little longer it will definitely come down even more. Despite the high fees, many people traded in Bitcoin and continued their work, although many people could not trade because of the high fees, but if we wait a little longer, maybe the transaction fees will drop further this week.
Because they want to have their inscriptions on that particular block, even willing to pay as high as $36,000. But despite that, this is how bitcoin is design, to have halving every 4 years and I guess that's enough for everyone to celebrate and witnessed it as other might have not seen in run-time. There are a lot of countdowns as well, so we can say that it is again another successful halving. And despite the insane fees 2-3 days after, and because of this Runes, maybe the fees will continue to go up. Nevertheless, just like before when the tx fees goes up, just a matter of time before it came back down again to at least manageable, 10 sats/vB.
