241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Kambosos - May 12 IBF Lightweight Title on: February 23, 2024, 09:23:51 PM
Loma cannot be too complacent about not getting a knockout win in Kambosos' country. Just to ensure a victory, he needs to KO him; otherwise, he might be surprised that he is very confident in the ring, thinking he'll win comfortably, but the judges saw it differently. Grin

People will never forget what they did to Pacman, and I hope it will not happen to Loma here since Kambosos has a similar style to Horn, who just loves to attack and throw a lot of punches. If judges count that and he survives the 12 rounds, unexpected things could happen. I'm pretty sure Loma's camp is well aware of that, so it's expected that their game plan is always ready to secure a clear victory.
I'm not sure if they have similar style, what I noticed though during the Jeff Horn vs Manny Pacquiao is that Jeff is a bigger fighter and so he bullish Manny that time and that is enough for the corrupt judges to see him winning. But in this fight, I don't think that George can bully Loma here. Loma is too technical and it might be a wrong strategy for him as I'm seeing that Loma will counter him with short left and right hand.

Now, if I could ask, what would be next for Kambosos if he loses this fight? Would he rather retire or continue fighting against non-top boxers?
He can still fight, but I don't think that he will be given chances again to fight for the belt. But who knows, Bob Arum has this influence and his Top Rank has control of boxers in the lower weight. So maybe they can have George fight up and coming fighters for the money.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rolando Romero-Isaac Cruz to meet on March 30 in Las Vegas. on: February 23, 2024, 11:21:39 AM
It's how they can back up that trash talking, if not they the jokes on them. Just like when he trash talk his way against Gervonta Davis. And if I'm not mistaken, he said that he got the best of Davis during their sparring session. But it's totally different when they fought in the ring, Romero can't back it up, he had good rounds early, but after that Tank dominated him and then knocking him out. It's good that he didn't become a huge meme like Adrien Broner before when he really trash talk Maidana but then get knock down for the first time in his career and lost that fight. And after that, Broner wasn't able to recover from that and just become a journey man. So Rolly should be very careful here, Pitbull has the power to knock him out as well and he is a big underdog.
243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 23, 2024, 10:47:50 AM
There's already 1 week before this month ends. Maybe Canelo and PBC should reach an agreement otherwise it will be a late notice to the opponent for Cinco De Mayo. I believe Canelo starts training a few days from now or who knows he is already starting his light training. Potential opponents like Jermall, Benavidez, Crawford, and Mungia better start their light training as well or they do not have proper training camps if they wait for the official decision of Canelo.

So it looks like Canelo wants Jermall but PBC wants Benavidez or Mungia. But I guess Canelo will make the final decision as he might have the right to terminate the contract with PBC. I am not confident that PBC has the money or sponsor to offer Canelo $55 million to fight Benavidez but who knows? And it also looks like PBC is protecting Jermall's 0 too.
What are the numbers though? I thought it's $35 million and not $55 million for a Munguia fight offer for Canelo? I don't think that Canelo will terminate his contract with PBC, it should be airtight that Canelo will have to fulfill that 3 fight that he agreed. So far he had one with Jermell Charlo. But I think Canelo will chose Jermall Charlo here less risk for him, also a American, Munguia is a Mexican and we all know that his excuse are. I don't think that they are protecting Jermall's 0, I mean he has been going a lot, mental issues 160 lbs seems pretty much a dead division for now and so they will have to force him to go to 168 lbs and fight Canelo and have that storyline of revenge or something to make the fight marketable.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 23, 2024, 10:33:01 AM
How about the games between the Warriors and the Lakers, Curry point in a show with he wax hot in the 1st quarter and that no look pass for Wiggins for a dunk. No Lebron though, as he was rested. And obviously, the Warriors is being led by AD. But the Warriors had a lot of weapons here, Kuminga and Wiggins and Draymond anchoring their defense. All the Warriors that was fielded in this game score, with Trayce Jackson-Davis 17 points. The only downside in this game is that Klay Thompson continue to struggle with his shooting, just scoring 3 points in 28 minutes.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who's winning more casinos or gamblers? on: February 22, 2024, 09:46:45 PM
The casino never loses isn’t necessarily true. They’ve been cases of casinos trying to wiggle out from paying out a huge win won by a gambler. If such payments are made, it could have a significant effect on the finances of the casinos hence the move to try and withhold payment.
But it's rare that many bettors won in a span of 24 hours that might impact the position of the casino in my opinion. They might pay huge win, but obviously, in the next couple of hours they can get it back. And we have heard stories of gamblers winning huge amount and then losing it back to the casino in matter of minutes.

But I would say the casinos are the biggest beneficiaries as they’re clearly in it to make money. They’re a business themselves and definitely can not afford to run at a loss. They’re in it to make profit and hence, would ensure they get theirs. If it’s not so profitable, why do we see new casinos pop up every now and then?(some with the bad intent to gather enough customer deposits to steal and flee).
It's business after all, they are into it and making money from all of us. And I do agree that even in a competitive niche like this one, we have seen a lot of them joining and trying to get a piece of that huge pie, which is a billion dollar business. So in the end, it's us that are losing here, but then again, since time immemorial, gambling has been with us and it's part of human's history.
246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum price approaches $3k on: February 22, 2024, 09:00:25 PM
Yes ETH price already touched 3K Usdt I think bull run will create new all time high in ETH so those who have ETH hold can hold it, in future it may break previous all time high price.
ATH price hits after all these past weeks, therefore putting smiles on the faces of traders. Ethereum price reaches $3000 and this is huge profits from those patient investors that long it on future trading. Though watching the weekly chart of ETH, it's making some bull runs in the previous days and that doesn't send any sign of bull season, there's still time to invest in ETH but we have to thoroughly examined our entries on these projects. ETH is a promising project in the market, we just have to make it our priority to invest in this project if only we are interested in massive profits.
It's good that it touches $3k, and we can compare it when Bitcoin hits $50k. However, it's a long way to go for ETH, it is still down 40% from it's previous high while BTC is just 26% only. So it means that there need to be more growth for ETH. Anyhow, it's early, not just  bull run for altcoin market in my opinion. No question that it can achieved more next year. No need to get excited, more will come for sure. I just talk to one of my friends who have been slowly stacking ETH since the bull run but he says it's too early. So that  should be the mentality of ETH holders and just keep on buying. Or if you are going to sell, at least re-invest right away or go to other promising coins.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 22, 2024, 10:02:39 AM
Not sure if this is true or not,

https://twitter.com/boxing_william/status/1758908335083192470

But based on that statement, it seems that they are forcing Canelo to fight Benavidez next and so they are negotiating behind. Again, there's a lot of rumors that it will be Charlo next for Canelo in May. Let's see how this so could negotiation goes though, if this is real then good for us. But it might have been contradict what Canelo said recently that he doesn't want to fight another Mexican. All we can do right now is wait until we finally hear official statement from Canelo.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers trickily claims they wins the bet while they never did. on: February 22, 2024, 09:11:10 AM
Just don't believe them if they claim something absurd, we're already on the digital age, I don't think that someone will be missing out on taking a picture or a footage of the winning play so if they claim that they've won this, just ask if they've got a proof or that they've won something or that they've bet on something, usually there's a ticket or a celebratory graphics with message if you've won, you can easily press the Print Screen on your keyboard or the screenshot on your phone for the proof so that's how it's going to be. It's weird to me that people do that kind of thing where they pretend about something just to have something to talk about like dude shut up if you don't have anything to say, it's more awkward once we know you're lying because we'll never believe anything that comes out of your mouth anymore.
Yeah, and I think I know someone with this kind of attitude,  Grin he love to post his winnings to us, we have a group and one day someone noticed that it could have been edited by himself to look like he won massively. And sometimes he will boast but without screen shot on the phone. But in any case, now he has stopped it, he just says that his account is ban or he uninstalled the gambling apps or that his wallet has reach its maximum for the month and so he doesn't want to play because if he wins big again, he can't withdraw. So there's a lot of excuses from him now when we called him up about that edited pictures he sent. As for me, I don't show screenshots, but I do take them and just show it to my wife when I win big but not in the group.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recovering gambling addict stories on: February 22, 2024, 08:48:08 AM
Yes, seen a lot of this kind of horror stories from recovering addict. And there was one gamblers who after going into therapy with a mentor, he says that he really go deep as to why he become a addict and it goes to his early childhood as part of how he turn to be gamblers. I don't know if others have experience it, maybe the background, his families and all the people surrounded him when he was growing up. And it's true that it's either, to go to institutions, jail if you commit crimes because you can't control your addiction, or death, when you can't pay your debt from loan sharks (this is the worst). Hopefully, we find this stories, inspiring and so we can go and recover if we are addicts. Important to mention as well the support of the families as one of the stories I saw is that the wife and her kids and the parents of the addict didn't gave on him but instead he didn't know that he will be bringing him in the rehab and then that is the start for him and now he is gambling free for 13 years and become a motivational speaker and established his own recovery institution.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: February 21, 2024, 08:51:01 PM
Two more days until the return of NBA basketball. I think I’m going through withdrawals. There haven’t been many moves as far as signing players either. Hopefully the players return refreshed and healthy to make a run into the postseason. I expected the Warriors to make some signings or something. Weird there aren’t more free agents finding homes.

Looks like most of the teams in the NBA don't need any additions to their rosters and they just gonna fix their rotations instead of adding more players to disrupt their chemistry, especially those star players. So far, the teams that we expect to reach the playoff tree are doing good and they also dominate the league this season like the Boston Celtics, I wonder if they could keep that up and make some more wins until the end of the season games. Also, they are expected to reach the NBA finals this year since the Bucks are likely to be choked because they chose an incompetent coach instead of adding more role players to help them win more games.

In the case of Bucks, yeah, Giannis will be tested here specially in the playoffs, it's obvious that they are not the same team anymore. I mean they have added Dame, and it's good, but the chemistry is still in question right now. There are games that they look solid and championship team, but most of the time, they were defeated by a low caliber team.

And then they changes coaches in the middle of the season, and this could really help them in a bad way if they don't know how to keep on winning under coach Rivers. And assuming they reach the playoff, we all know that coach Rivers have history of choking.

Rivers has been getting hit pretty hard in the media this week. Especially after the JJ Redick comments. Add that to Dame leaving Giannis off his starting 5 if he could pick anyone and you have a recipe for some trouble brewing behind the scenes in Milwaukee. They have the talent to go all the way, but the chemistry needs work.
And there Pat Bev, defended his coach,

https://twitter.com/patbev21/status/1760007741354193237

However, I don't trust JJ here, I mean he is in the media in the last couple of years, so he will have to make some controversial statement just to be on the spot light. And I think as far as doing his job? He is good. But we will see if Rivers can get back after the All-Star, fresh and restart everything for the Bucks. I do agree about the chemistry, it's a different team now, not like the same when they had their run on the championship a couple of years ago. So there's thing that Rivers have to work, not just their defense.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jerwin Ancajas vs Takuma Inoue - February 24 on: February 21, 2024, 08:19:30 PM
So this fight is happening this weekend. Hopefully, Jerwin can pull an upset in Japan and bring home the title. He is an underdog, but I am giving him a better chance of becoming the first champion than Raymart Gaballo, who has less experience in the quality of opponents and world title fight experience.

Jerwin already knows that Takuma has the skills but with a very low KO ratio. Jerwin has to let his hands go and take the risk so he can his big shots. Takuma meanwhile will probably try to bring the fight to the middle of the ring and we will see if Jerwin cannot force him into retreat.

He got this fight because he had more experience compared to Takuma and also he already fought some knockout artist boxers and was able to survive against them. The only thing he needs to be aware of is when he lets the judges decide the winner because that's when he will not gonna like their decision because his opponent is consistent in throwing jabs that could outscore him throughout the rounds. All he needs to do is put pressure on his opponent because it won't be long until he gonna fall against his punches. After all, this one does not have enough speed to dodge those shots.

As far as experience, I do agree that Jerwin Ancajas has the experience, he even had the belt before and defended it for many years before he outgrown that division. And so it will carry on and according to him, he is used in fighting overseas, so he don't see fighting in Japan as a big problem. And bantamweight could be a good division for him, as his body will no longer be drain at jr bantamweight and so making weight is very issue for him here. As for the strategy, they are looking for a knockout victory here. No less than Ancajas putting pressure and then knocking out the champion in his hometown. This will be their ultimate goal and we do hope that our kababayan will win here and bring it back to the country, very proud.

Clearly, the challenger here has the better experience. Per record, Takuma has only 18 fights while Jerwin has 34 fights; you can see the big disparity. Maybe aside from being the champion, Takuma is also hyped since he is the brother of Naoya, and people will be supporting him in this fight. However, I see it differently as I'm more focused on their capabilities, judging by the fighters they faced in the past, and I see Jerwin having a rough journey, so he should win this fight.
I think that's also one reason why, but I guess he was the talent as well, but obviously he is not as good as his brother. And when he won his belt, he fought against a relatively unknown fighter in Liborio Solis, who at that time has 5 losses already. So maybe as corrupt as the organization bodies, the WBA wanted Naoya's brother to become a champion as well. And with everyone is really hype that Jerwin can beat Takuma and he should take this advantage. Just 2 days from now, we will see if Jerwin will become a world champion again. And for bettors, ML is very attractive enough.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: February 21, 2024, 01:22:48 PM
It looks like this fight might likely to happen in the future,

Quote
Floyd Mayweather Jr has refused to rule out an exhibition boxing match with Manny Pacquiao in Japan later this year.

"Next year, I hope to see you here in Japan with a big fight against…", Pacquiao said at RIZIN 45 as he looked over to RIZIN chief executive Nobuyiki Sakakibara.

"Floyd Mayweather," Sakakibara announced.

https://www.boxingscene.com/mayweather-hints-pacquiao-exhibition--181595

So both legendary boxers are trying to tease their fights, with this kind of statement specially coming from Floyd. We always says that Floyd doesn't want to give Manny a rematch. But maybe in a exhibition match, we will see that finally this two will fight in the ring again. And with the money is right in the table, obviously Floyd can't refuse it specially coming from the Japanese who loves him over there, same with Manny Pacquaio. It could be like what he did before, the fight happening at New Year next year. Better keep this thread alive, in my opinion.
253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Someone have my wallet phrase on: February 21, 2024, 10:52:07 AM
What worse case scenario given then fact I have only 14$ on this wallet and of course not intend to deposit anymore funds to that wallet
Well how did you know in the first place that someone have your wallet phrase? Did they intentionally left you with that $14 and thinking that you might deposit more and then with their bot, gonna steal it from you. And if you have still have the 14$ then why not transfer it to a new wallet? Moral lesson here is that you should know how to protect your wallet seed or password and do not trust anyone. And maybe I would advise to as well to format your PC if there is a malware there that will steal all your crypto. So just be careful as well on clicking any links, again it might compromised your PC or laptop.
254  Economy / Speculation / Re: Capitalise on Bitcoin Bull Run on: February 21, 2024, 10:32:40 AM
Bitcoin is on a bull run, so investors are encouraged to capitalise on this bull run. To Make The most  of the bull run consider investing and staying informed on trends. 2024 is exciting for Bitcoin, Bitcoin's strong performance this year is indeed impressive. It is a great opportunity for investors. To invest in a bull market is considered you buy when the price  is rising and of which there is a significant potential growth.
During a bitcoin bullish market indulging in a good investment and capitalising on it will be the difference that will take your profit to another level, some popular strategies. Buy bitcoin by implying DCA method to accumulate because bitcoin now is $52  and it's expected to hit $100k by end of the year so there will be gains if capitalise on it right now don't wait for the DIP . Then HODl to maximise your profit and reduce loses , consider using Relative strength index (RSI) to make good HODL decisions,  DYOR to navigate through the market, Then you can consider taking profit with strategies when the price is right for you. Bull markets can be dangerous if you let greed cloud your decisions, so consider selling gradually as the Market peaks. It is not too late to capitalise on a Bitcoin bull run  and making profit is guaranteed with its potential growths of Bitcoin.
Lol, the best time to capitalized from this bull run if that if you have a lot of BTC already. And that accumulation phase should be in the bull run, 2 years ago we see the lowest low of $15,500 and that is the best time to buy and let's say save 1 BTC. But if you can't do that, then DCA is your friend. Of course, you can still accumulate as much as you want at this price, but the profits will not be as big as when you do it in the previous years. This is just a lesson for us, that we shouldn't be like sleeping in the bear market. But instead take that opportunity to buy and have that mental toughness to grind weekly to DCA and buy based on your capital. And then after that, wait for the bull run, at least time the market if you are going to sell, near the top will be a good one to get your profits from that hard word you have done in the bearish cycle.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Taylor vs Catterall - April 27 on: February 20, 2024, 09:19:41 PM

Saw the feed on my social media, about the press conference.

https://twitter.com/HotBoxingMinute/status/1759616800541802668

Josh Taylor looks old to me, sorry for his fans here. But the press conference is funny as hell, everyone has to say something bad against each other including the trainer of Jack.

You're just stating the fact he does look old it has something to do with his training yes this is one of the evidence that Taylor is trying to cut weight he needs to maintain a weight that is nearest to his ideal weight a week before the weigh-in so he can make the 140 in a gradual manner, so instead of being in his natural weight during the training and just to drastically cut weight one or two weeks before the fight.

Taylor is doing it right, the 147 weight two weeks before the fight is an ideal weight he can easily make the cut and rehydrate in time for the fight, what happened in the press conference was expected because Caterall cannot accept the defeat it was a very controversial win considering that all titles are at stake then, it's a big frustration for Caterall and he shows it in the press conference.

Not only that, there was a slapping incident at the press conference, Caterall just could not control himself from Taylor's taunt it's only 7 days before the fight the thrash talk will continue I just hope this time they will settle once and for all who is the better fighter I hope Taylor can make the weigh-in I like to see his move and his movement in the weigh, you can easily tell if a boxer will struggle in the ring, the weigh-in is an indication.
here is the video of that slap
There are a lot of emotions during the face-off, both camp are very eager to face each other and there are a lot of words being thrown at each other before this fight. And so this is not just a taunt but they are talking this matter very personal specially Jack Catterall as he believed he was robbed in the first fight and that he should have been a champion already, so just imagine the emotions and his mentality that it took years for this fight to happen, but this time there are no belt but just bragging rights in the line. There has been a lot of domestic rivalries in UK though, so this could be one in the books. And who knows, if Jack won here there could be another fight to really settle the scores.  Some notable domestic rivalries  is Chris Eubank vs Nigel Benn, Khan vs Kell Brook, Eubank Jr vs Liam Smith.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How my gambling life started. on: February 20, 2024, 08:41:02 PM
That's why gambling games will fade their fun if the money gets into your head. For example, in the OP, they are playing gambling games with relatives—card games, to be specific—but because they put stakes in the play, the game becomes extreme and challenging. It was fun at first, but eventually they become hungry with the money. That's why the fun has gone. This kind of story is not new; many family members or friends become wary of one another when it comes to gambling games. I have the experience of learning that card games used to be played in casinos. It was fun playing with other family members, but we never ever put money on the line because they know that money can ruin anything, so even now when we have a gathering, we still play gambling games without money. It's all fun; if you want that, then better just enjoy the game.
I also started that way, old days in our house. I'm still very young that time, but I have seen my parents play with nephews and nieces and it was just all for fun. And then they taught me how to play that card games and then for years we did that until they all left when they grown up and fight a job. Was in high school then and so with that taste of rush early, play with my classmates too and then just like the OP slowly move to play in land base casinos when I graduated and find a decent jobs and with your officemates in the same path as you, going to casinos after office hours or even go for a quick gamble during break. OF course, it's all for fun, but if I have to look back, there were money that i could have used to other things.
257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in Bitcoin, for long time Holding on: February 20, 2024, 11:58:46 AM
There are many types of Bitcoin investors, some invest for long-term holdings, while others invest for short-term holdings. But one thing is true, those who invest in Bitcoin for short term are never able to achieve anything big. On the contrary, they face more losses.

every Bitcoin investment should be long-term. Because we have seen that even at the end of 2023 the price of bitcoin was 42k and as the year 2024 falls, the price of bitcoin has crossed 50k and currently the price of bitcoin is 52k. So now consider that those who invested in Bitcoin in 2023, when the price of Bitcoin was hovering between 26k and 27k, have already received double returns. So those who have been patiently holding Bitcoin since then have already reaped double the return on their investment.

Now another big opportunity is going to come in front of us. When the price of Bitcoin will increase much more than that. So I would say, those who haven't invested in Bitcoin yet, make a final decision to invest in Bitcoin for lone time Holding now and hold until the next ATH. You invest in Bitcoin and keep your Bitcoin holdings safe, because the next bull market is going to have the power to change your life. So just Hold bitcoin for long time.
To each his own, as much as we wanted to HODL for long term, but just imagine what kind of market will be for Bitcoin if everyone is just buying and there's no seller in the market? Right, and so this is why the market is very volatile, one of it's nature that most of us take advantage of it, some sellers and then others waiting to scope that BTC and fill their bags. For those who are holding it though, not the right time to sell, unless it's necessary (there is an emergency and you needed more money). But the best selling time is near the top of the bull run, you just have to time the market, or just sell in small portions, in my opinion. Anyhow, still plenty of time to accumulate sats before the halving in April.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Wins: Your Money Was Returned to You. on: February 20, 2024, 11:39:58 AM
In gambling, you win some, you lose some; not just in gambling alone but in life generally, so i don't think this is a problem for gamblers. The problem in gambling is when you gamble with an amount that you cannot afford to lose, or with money that should have been used for more important aspects of your life. As long as you gamble responsibly, you will find a good balance between what you win and what you lose, and you'll be just fine.

I couldn't agree more with your notion about the distinction between responsible and irresponsible gambling and you're completely right. This theory applies mostly to those who are already used to gambling and risking more than they can actually afford to loose. Every gambler should be aware of the risks involved in gambling, they should always have it at the back of their mind that gambling is a 50/50 game, you can either win or loose, infact your chances of loosing happens to be even greater than that of winning, so the question should be, is it worth throwing such amount of money away? If the answer is yes then go ahead but if you're unsure if you should push through or not, then dont even think of pushing through because the result might be fatal.
I think gamblers already knows the risk, it's not even 50/50 if you play games like slot machines or any games that the odds are pretty much against you. Maybe sports betting or even poker might be good, but the rest of the games is really against us and it boils down if we have luck and be able to win. But the question is if ever we win, do you stop or just continue and make it a cycle, thus turn us to be a gambling addicts? And I think the best teacher here is experienced. If we have been in this kind of situation, maybe with the right frame of mind, we will have to stop at some point to stop the losses.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game will you choose for one shot big bet? on: February 19, 2024, 10:21:01 AM
Hypothetically, if you are down with 90% of your bankroll and you want to recover all your losses using your 10% bankroll with one shot bet. What do you think  is the most logical game to do this kind of bet that will give you a x10 bet on one try?

This is hypothetical question which means answering a reasoning like you should save the money, stop gambling and etc. is not allowed because this is not real. The intention of the thread is determine what type of gambling game typically being chosen by players as last resort when they are losing badly.

Answer with specific game and explain why.
I'll go with slots, actually I have done it before, down $1000 dollars, one like big shot for me, I have $100 dollar left on my bankroll. And so I did $10 spin, I didn't get into the bonus round, but I was able to hit 3 wildcard reels and it give me also $2000. But I did continue to gamble, left myself with $1500 and something inside of me telling to continue, however, I got into my senses and decided to went home at least with still a win in my pocket. Although for sure you know what happen next, I gamble it all everything in the next couple of days and lost everything.  Sad. Why slots? just like that, it's a risk, but if luck comes into your side that time, then you can recover and hit some.

Josh Taylor though might be in the danger as they are fighting at 140 lbs, in which he says that he had difficulty making the weight already. So he could be draining himself just to get to this limit.

Honestly, I don't want to see boxers draining themselves just to make weight it's a big handicap for a boxer, and too much loss of fluid in the body is dangerous I remember the great Pacquiao cutting weight while he was in the flyweight division it affected his performance his opponent just need to connect one punch to out down Pacquiao it was a body punch if Pacquiao is in good condition that guy could not even last long, so if Taylor cannot rehydrate properly in the fight Caterall can put out Taylor easily, Taylor needs a good nutritionist so he can balance cutting the weight and rehydrating at the right time.
I still have Taylor as the favorite but I need to first see how things will turnout in the weigh-in, this is something to watch out for how both fighters will do the weigh-in.
Definitely, but they can't help themselves though as there are obviously weight class and most of them try to really fight in this weight class that they feel they can dominate, just in the case of Josh Taylor who become undisputed. But if he goes up to 147 lbs, there are a lot of natural bigger guy than him. And so maybe this will be his last fight at this division before he will go up and give the long overdue rematch with Jack Catterall. Let's see how he will be in the weigh-in, maybe we can see him really drain or if his team did a good job on trying to maintain that weight at least for this fight.
