8002  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Bitwala - Pay Your Bills With Bitcoin in Europe on: August 11, 2017, 05:25:17 PM
Hello Bitwala
I have a question regarding your service. I have a wallet with you, but a user can only have 1 wallet. Is it a problem if I create another account to be able to use a second wallet? As both will have the same first name/last name (but the bank account details used only for one account)

Hey LeGaulois,

Yes, you can create as many accounts as you wish and therefore as many wallets in separate accounts.

If you have any more questions I would be happy to answer them for you.

Thank you for your reply. I will be very happy to be able to use more Bitwala services and to continue to recommend the site.
Another question is you don't mind. The date on my ID card is expired but still 100% valid as per the laws in my country (the extended 5 more years to the cards). Do you think I can apply for the Visa card with such Identity card?
8003  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Looking for a reliable bitcoin mixer on: August 11, 2017, 05:02:49 PM
Looking for a great bitcoin mixer because bitmixer.io has closed.
I heard that they had very strong mixing algorithm. What mix algorithm did they use? Is there any service that uses the same or even stronger mixing algorithm?
Any service that uses the same security?

I don't know what algorithm Bitmixer was using but you may take a look at Chipmixer  https://chipmixer.com/ and see if it's good your needs. It's a popular mixer and more now Bitmixer closed and they do not take any commission. There is a topic discussed here in the forum if you want to read more about https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1935098.0 and a blog article that you can find here https://themerkle.com/what-is-chipmixer/

here is another one you can check https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1484009.0
8004  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitstamp taking money of their clients, i was ripped for 130k$ on: August 11, 2017, 04:47:39 PM
BItstamp is really strict about KYC/AML policies. Even if you already submitted documents long ago, they can at any time asking you again to send them and to reply to some questions such where the money comes from, what you do with cryptocurrencies, and so.
But about your case, you are making it a little wrong in my opinion, you are repeating the same thing that you  got the coins from a private seller. You should tell them that you already told them before from where the bitcoins come from and you can't provide any proof

Am I the only one to think what a weird domain name for something related to cryptocurrency. It does look you recycled an old domain after busting it. You say no fees charged but then you say there is a 0.01% + $0.02 so It's not free at all, even if the fees are minimal. A domain name costs just some bucks, why not choosing something decent for your business?
8007  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase Becomes First Bitcoin ‘Unicorn’ on: August 11, 2017, 03:20:48 PM
In hope, they start to use their funds to improve their horrible customers support maybe. Because for this, they surely don't deserve anything. Or maybe a medal for the worst. There is a lot to do to improve this side
8008  Local / Débutants / Re: Kraken : problème d'approvisionnement on: August 10, 2017, 10:43:51 PM
N'hésitez pas à utiliser https://localbitcoins.com/ pour écouler vos bitcoins, et à utiliser un mixeur de bitcoins pour brouiller les pistes.
Tout est là:
https://coinmixer.se/fr/bitcoin-mixing-service/comment-utiliser-bitcoin-de-facon-anonyme/

8012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will banks start a war against bitcoin on: August 10, 2017, 04:25:26 PM
I know we are still at a start of cryptocurrencies, but bitcoin is growing with lightning speed right now and some banks already see it as a potential threat.
There has been a lot of accusations form banks, that bitcoin is perfect for money laundering and is used for supporting crime.
I think they can do a lot of harm to bitcoin market and they will eventually start with harsh campaign against it.
Do you thing it will happen and when?

You forgot that banks are heavily researching and investing millions of dollars in their own blockchain solutions. I say banks but it also concerns insurance and lot of different industries. So they can't really start a war against Bitcoin as it would also mean against the blockchain. You can't really say Bitcoin is a shit while you are using it yourself.
8013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Different Cryptocurrencies on: August 10, 2017, 02:55:08 PM
A lot of ICOs are just garbage that I wouldn't even touch any of them. There are thousands of altcoins already and some of them can turn your investment better that if you use an ICO which can also be a potential scam. And as you mentioned having just a little experience I advise you to take interested in altcoins first before looking in ICOs
8014  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Citibank Closes Customer`s account because he bought bitcoin on: August 10, 2017, 02:00:38 PM
If he was regularly buying Bitcoin then the bank did nothing wrong and the banks was just following rules/regulations/laws. You can't use your personal account for running your business, no matter if it is about Bitcoin or selling sex toys. It is forbidden in almost all countries. A business needs to use a business bank account.
8015  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Japan the leader of Bitcoin trading on: August 10, 2017, 01:55:01 PM
I guess the recent legalization in their country is helping them a lot to gain the first exposition in trading bitcoin volume. Sadly there is no medal any, and no reward. In a near future, they can lose this first place quite easy, so.
8016  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Advise please open source privacy email service, if not free - with bitcoin on: August 10, 2017, 06:01:55 AM
Tutanota is similar to protonmail with an encrypted inbox and emails as well can be
Mailpile is good for a self-hosted version

What do you mean by open source email service?
The script might be open source but there is no way in hell you are going to find out what they use one their servers.

As the user above, go for proton mail.
If it's just for private stuff not running a business the free plan is more than enough.
I don't think you're going to use it for sending DWG files or something like that.

The server used for hosting an email service is irrelevant with what the guy is asking. Open source means the code and documentation are open to the public
There are much businesses using protonmail right now with their own domain
8017  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Is exodus wallet safe? on: August 09, 2017, 10:04:38 PM
What is good with Exodus is that the private keys are encrypted locally and stored on your computer, not like a web based wallet. So your keys are not stored on the server of someone/a company. The backup system backs up encrypted metadata and if by an unlucky day your computer dies you can always use the Exodus backup system and/or with a link in your email to restore your wallet
8018  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex - price manipulation, fake transactions on: August 09, 2017, 09:45:51 PM
If it's true I won't be surprised as spoofing in finance is not something that can not be denied. It does exist as for example
http://www.financemagnates.com/forex/regulation/cftc-fines-algorithmic-trader-2-8-million-for-spoofing-in-the-first-market-abuse-case-brought-by-dodd-frank-act/
https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2014-10-02/high-speed-trader-accused-of-commodity-market-spoofing-

So why not can't they do it in the crypto market in severals exchanges?

Isn't spoofing and similar manipulation illegal under SEC rules? How about CFTC? I'd imagine so, but I wouldn't know where to begin looking.
I think It is illegal only for US stock markets https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/bitcoin-analyst-identifies-clear-spoofing-pattern-at-bitfinex#comment-3458611804
8019  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and crime... on: August 09, 2017, 06:08:25 PM
There are so many topics about this already. Bitcoin and crime, Bitcoin and terrorism, Bitcoin and  ISIS, and so on. And the waves of medias talking bad about bitcoin is over, Those same medias are now saying how bitcoin is wonderfull and profitable
8020  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Searching for a debit card (ONLY POS) comparison on: August 08, 2017, 08:33:54 PM
No, the $250 limit is lifetime. It means as soon as you reach the $250, no matter if it's in 1 week, in 1 month or in 1 year. This limit has been put in place about 2 months ago if I remember correctly. It was not here before.
