822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling or gaming sites on: May 05, 2023, 02:16:13 PM
Has anyone known and played at these sites? Do let me how was their experience and what sort of games are there ?
Are they pure gambling sites or a mixture of gambling and gaming sites ? Although you need coins to play at these sites and you can redeem the winning coins into fiat money.
I recently known these sites through some articles but I think they are a paid ones just to promote them. I haven't been able to play or check it, maybe you could try it for us in here and check if they're paying and if the games are way too cool. I think these are gaming sites and not gambling sites.
I myself saw some ads about these sites but never tired them. You need to first buy in their tokens or coins before you can actually play them.
I usually never deposit in a site until i am sure that the site has some trusted feedback.

However, they were advertised as gambling games, so I think these are gambling games where you can win real money (can't confirm if they really pay you or scam you)  Huh
Well, that's not a hassle if they are encouraging their token to be able to play on their platform, the hassle is to find a liquid DEX to buy these tokens. That's the question, if they pay you for how long will it gonna take or they'll just be there for some time and if nothing uses them frequently anymore they'll just vanish out of thin air. I've seen lot of this kind.

824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: There are many advantages to the relationship between gambling and Bitcoin. on: May 05, 2023, 02:28:06 AM
Can you tell us another advantage of opening an account in a Bitcoin Sportsbook?
Opening an account isn't solely an advantage but I'd say the experience over it. I have few accounts to play on sportsbook but that doesn't mean I have the advantage, it's simply a thing to require you to gamble. For me the advantage is that you can play whenever or wherever you are using just your smartphones, the ease while you're on your home. Those things might be least of an advantage but they are something important I guess.
825  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking help with PEPE on coinbase wallet on: May 04, 2023, 03:36:54 PM
If you could have tried to contact their customer service that will really help you at all. How many PEPE was there in the first place? Maybe it's only a few that's why you won't be able to get good trade on it. If Coinbase do not charge cheap maybe you need to just sit it there or put it on your personal wallet instead and wait until that amount is good for a trade for good profit plus the trading fee.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: May 04, 2023, 02:11:07 PM
<snip>
Both gamblers and casinos have the same goal, and that is to win. It's easy to understand that casinos should win because they have the edge, and that's the reason why the gambling industry is booming. We should gamble for fun and not try to destroy a very profitable industry. If we win, we should enjoy it because we are not lucky all the time.
They always win, it will not be lucrative if they aren't winning at all. It's a given that you won't be able to beat the whole house but it's a given as well that you're just winning it with other gamblers that plays with the casino.
827  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Paano Ka Ba Manghikayat o Mag educate Sa Mga Kababayan Natin on: May 04, 2023, 10:40:07 AM
The thing is, maliit lang magtatanong Sayo tapos sasabihin agad kung paano sila kikita. I tend to ignore them or just show them some links kasi sa totoo lang education graduate ako pero tinamad na ako magturo ng kumita na sa online.

Mahirap manghikayat gusto ng mga pinoy yung maiinggit sila kaya mas maganda yung sa social media mo nalang idaan pero I don't do it nowadays at try ko na ring ideny na meron pa ako nito.
828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 04, 2023, 09:53:29 AM

Boston vs Philly surprised me, just as anybody else. Without Embiid they were a huge dog, I think the spread was around 10-12 points. Even with Embiid back for game 2 (maybe) I don't see Boston losing again, this was just a fluke.
Well, guess I was right and it was a fluke.
Even with the mvp back in the lineup Philly got destroyed. He didn’t have any impact on 27 minutes of playing time. And Harden, well the words off game wouldn’t even describe this performance, 2/14 from the field plus 8 fts. After game 1 everybody expected more of him but this was not it.

Now the series shifts to Philadelphia and Boston needs, and will get, at least 1 game away from home. They can’t risk going down 3:1, that would almost mean the series a done.

Embiid will only become more healthy and dangerous the longer this series goes. Boston would be smart to finish it fast.
Not gonna say it's all a fluke but what just a bad night for him I guess. Now that they are in their turf I think this means it might favor them once again. The thing with less-Embiid is that Harden and Maxey got the ball all day and they're trying to find some shots as well as Harris. Do you think they're better without him?
829  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't claim to be an investor if it's still like this on: May 04, 2023, 07:32:23 AM
Investing is not an easy task. It should be understood that without preparation it is quite difficult to get the result. The investment process itself requires knowledge and at least minimal experience in working in the market.
Correct. Not all need some preparations but with it on your sleeves you'll surely have an edge over the others. Just because investing doesn't mean you need to be there at the moment it doesn't mean as well that you don't need education and knowledge, you need it the most or else it will just be a blind investment.
830  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: May 03, 2023, 03:13:39 PM
According to the articles shared, sports betting will have the highest market gain in the next few years.
What do you think?
I agree to this article but I think what should be more to be improved and strengthen is security and privacy. Internet is getting vast and there will be too many risks as well on security considering it's all online of accounts and most gamblers do tend to stay there money on their accounts.
Everything has it's risk, even if you play on offline base casino, there could be security issues as well. Just like if you let your money sit in exchanges, maybe if the exchange were hack or your accounts be compromise, you will lose your money there. The discussion is about how the gambling industry has grown tremendously.

Just like you, you are carrying a crypto related signature here, so in a nutshell you are also (and most of us here), are part of the gambling industries huge growth. And we can see that we also on sports betting here, at least majority of us follow certain sports. And then the games that we love to play, slots, baccarat, black jack and others. So it is really a thriving industry and it's one of the first use case for bitcoin.
Yeah I know that but part of a growing industry we can't deny the fact that exploitation will be there and online gambling isn't an exception. I'm just trying to suggest that it could be one of the mitigation so that estimate annual growth rate can be achieved or even break it. We've come a long way and I think the use of crypto was the reason online gambling thrives to this day.

832  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: May 03, 2023, 10:48:12 AM
Anthony Davis came out and dominated in game 1 for the Lakers against the Warriors. One of the all time Lakers playoff performances. The Warriors won’t be able to win this series unless they figure out how to contain Anthony Davis. He looks like a man among boys out there. I knew he was going to be a problem after how the Kings bigs were able to cause problems.
Well, it's not only Davis they should contain but Lebron, Russel, Schroeder has contributions on that win. Kevin Looney was dominating the board as well, getting that 3 offensive rebounds to get a shot is something tbh. Well, it's not that their night I guess but Warriors has a shot to win this but Lakers is likely trying to bring that crown they once hold.
833  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Questions of the day for gamblers on: May 02, 2023, 08:49:14 PM
If a online casino claims to be a decentralized platform does this mean that their games are fully decentralized too?

Do you guys know that some casinos regulates their own slots machines themselves, can you gamble with ease of mind on such casinos?

If slots games is all you are good at, are you really good at it or you are just lucky? Can you use the word 'good at it' with slots game?

What is the most convenient games you play on gambling platforms?

Is using leverage about luck or skills? Or even a rigged game?
* There should be some supporting stuff that could prove it.
* I kno that and I guess most are but I think even if they do people do still find to gamble with ease on those casinos.
* No, you're just being luck at luck base games.
* Dice, slots, crash, poker and sports betting.
* I'd say it's skills to find that leverage on your own. That would take both I guess.
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember this episode of Simpsons? on: May 02, 2023, 02:30:49 PM
Just a mockery to USD I guess and that Bitcoin infinite price was just a joke and we won't see this in our lifetime. Maybe there's something true on that episode but it's not meant for Bitcoin, maybe it was meant for GME, FOX, or USD. We understand The Simpsons writers predict some interesting futuristic events but this one is likely not so gonna happen thing for Bitcoin, at least in our lifetime.
They were in fact mocking USD because it has infinite supply, as the printer can be run indefinitely, as long as there's demand to keep the price of the dollar above 0.
If USD supply can grow every year and bitcoin's supply is limited to 21m, BTC/USD pair can be pumped into infinity.

You'll see it next year when the FED pivots and starts printing again. USD will once again dive in value as it's done many times in the last 50 years and bitcoin and everything else will go up and they will once again say it's a real estate bubble, bitcoin bubble, stock bubble - the everything bubble just not the USD.
Well, government will still exist next year so it will have the same narrative about Bitcoin. Moreover, I'm not that buying that infinite value of Bitcoin but if somehow it does (which I really think it's not), it's not that bad though, I'd be happy more than ever if it happens considering I have been holding it since the last COVID crash.

836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there any point to start trading with 20$? on: April 29, 2023, 09:40:56 PM
I’d really appreciate if you all could let me know if what i am doing is worth it or am I just wasting time?
I don't think it will waste your time to trade just for $20, you could start with any amount as long as it's the minimum for your exchange to start trading. Just don't over leverage if you're planning to trade on futures. You can do it on spot trades as well and just imagine you started at $20 then you've made it to thousands, that would be the most exciting part there.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 29, 2023, 09:25:40 PM
This one is all over the internet now.

Dillon Brooks Insults LeBron James While Reacting To Their Mid-Game Confrontation: "I Don't Respect No One Until They Come In And Give Me 40"

I guess Brooks can now respect LeBron, since the Lakers beat them by 40 points. The Lakers are so scary in these playoffs; they have proven to everyone that they are still here. Although they are the underdogs, beating Memphis in 6 is not as easy as we think, but the Lakers dominated the series.

Lastly, I would like to say that Memphis DYNASTY IS OVER!
I'd say it's just getting started.  Ja and jarren Jackson are only 23 and Desmond bane is only 24.  These kids are young.  This team is just getting started.  They need more experience and adams getting hurt, hurt them.  How do you break up a team where it's star core is all under 25 years old lol?
Brooks should now know where he sits, LeBron just showed him that disrespecting him was absolutely not a good idea. Looks like it will be Kings and Lakers? I'm thinking it will be them that will make it to the WCF but Lakers could likely dominate them I guess if it's them that cross paths.
838  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can we see a huge rise in the price of Dogecoin ? on: April 29, 2023, 05:58:14 PM
Of course we hope that the price of Dogecoin can rise to around $1, especially for people who have bought it before at a price of $0.5. But we shouldn't expect much from Elon Musk to boost the dogecoin price increase like it has done before. Moreover, Elon Musk's tweets often invite controversy and it is even very difficult to see his seriousness in adopting Dogecoin as a means of payment in his company.
Actually the problem is that it will create hype again and everyone will come together to push its price up, I am not sure about the new ATH but I think the dogecoin case is also interesting because it has a very large community. And in my opinion it will need to get rid of the memecoin tag itself, and get hyped up from the bullshit to build a better product application system. I'm not sure when I will buy dogecoin again but personally I will keep an eye on dogecoin throughout the investment process.
Correct. I am also not sure if dogecoin will reach new ATH again. Moreover, in the past, not many people were interested in investing in this coin, but suddenly when Elon Musk came with his tweet, the price of Dogecoin soared so that many people flocked to invest.
It's not yet alt season and if that happen expect that Musk will be busy than ever to promote it. I won't doubt the possibility that it could make some new ATH again even with just postings of Musk that promotes the coin. There has been a lot of upgrade on Dogecoin and it was supported as well by those who are known in the crypto space.

840  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: zkSync Era Airdrop Guide on: April 29, 2023, 11:08:05 AM
My question is that, is it already too late? I've seen some twitter threads regarding airdrop guides as well on this coin but I'm afraid I'll just waste my effort and money again just like that I missed that ARB airdrop even though I do the guides. The thing with this airdrop is that they won't give any guides and at the end of the day you'll just be amaze you're not eligible again.
