821  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks hope to issue their own "bitcoins" to fight BTC on: January 16, 2021, 09:12:23 AM
The race is already won as OP says. We are not going to stop using bitcoin and crypto because of the CBDCs.
Cryptocurrencies today have gained confidence in the world due to the incorporation of new entities that are contributing their capital.

According to Coingecko: Saturday 01/16/21

Market Cap: $ 1,028,176,281,849 -2.5%

Volume in 24 hours: $ 168,687,941,834

Domain:

BTC 66.5%

ETH 13.2%

The indicators show that we are raising more capital from the use of cryptocurrencies. While CBDCs have to carry out an extensive journey that aims to digitize the bank so that it offers us a better service because we have shown them that the digital economy is innovation and that they must adjust to the new times.
822  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scammers have a hard time with grammar on: January 16, 2021, 08:39:23 AM
We must be careful on the internet and avoid visiting sites of dubious origin. It is obvious if the grammar is poor something is not right and even worse if these websites offer a high return for your bitcoin.
I would recommend not visiting them, it is better so we avoid being victims of scams, viruses, etc.
I usually limit myself to the use of the internet, I only visit recognized websites and do not enter any link without knowing its origin.
823  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What we were dreaming, now is the reality! on: January 16, 2021, 08:26:06 AM
Last year it made me reflect a lot about Bitcoin, never before had I been so attentive day by day to what was happening around it.
The pandemic has been the most shocking event in my life but as time went by I was able to allay my fears by watching the behavior of bitcoin.

We have received important news around it which shows that it is marking a before and after in our economy. Resulting in the technological advances that will transform the digital economy by using blockchains, bitcoin, crypto and new digital assets.
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What threatens Bitcoin? on: January 15, 2021, 11:28:26 PM
I agree with those who think that the threat of Bitcoin is people. We need people not to lose trust in Bitcoin.

It will be able to remain positioned as the first digital asset in the crypto market and ideally, it will continue to gain more digits in the market dominance. Now that more investment firms are participating. They are looking at Bitcoin for adoption as a treasury reserve asset.

I think this plan is underway and opens a different behavior in Bitcoin. But if people lose faith it will be very hard for all of us who support it.
825  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network Development in Bitcoin on: January 15, 2021, 09:59:15 PM
I also wanted to learn about the Lightning Network, but I have only managed to download the BlueWallet wallet and have not been able to move on. Because sometimes it takes time when I try to learn and I have to go back to my daily activities and I quit.

Likewise it has happened to me with EOS I have an account and I must update it: CPU, Network, RAM to be able to carry out transactions.

But it is never too late to learn. So far I am satisfied with Bitcoin, Ethereum and a new platform that will give a lot to talk about: Avalanche has its own blockchain, its coin AVAX and offers users low fess and fast transactions.
826  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Trust this type Offer on: January 15, 2021, 09:18:24 PM
I am not a Yobit user and I don't think I create an account there. The design of the platform is not responsible, which means that the website is not a user-friendly website. Today there are several Exchange platforms with greater credibility and greater benefits than Yobit. If we remember the rule:

"Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins."

It would make us think that it is a risk to have bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies on the exchange platforms.

I found some information about Yobit and interests in bitcoin in a tweet.

827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TOP 5 James Bond gambling scenes on: January 15, 2021, 02:52:46 AM
Agree. I love James Bond movies and the casino scenes are very exciting. Whether or not they influence us to become a player is a dilemma. In my opinion, when we visit land-based Casinos it influences us in such a way that we want to return if we share it especially with friends.
I found some recommendations of some series that I have seen and I would also like to share with you.

T.V. series
Las Vegas created by NBC (2003 - 2008).

Blackpool created by the BBC (2004).

Luck created by HBO (2011 - 2012).

828  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No 2FA and robbed of 0.097BTC on: January 14, 2021, 07:55:05 PM
I'm sorry for your loss. Thanks for sharing your experience. It is hard when we learn from an irreversible mistake.

I remember when I started in crypto I documented myself to the maximum to be able to begin this exciting journey full of innovation.

I asked questions how to do to buy my first coin and what stood out the most in the information was "you must activate your 2FA on any website when trading crypto." and so it was forever.

IMO, any website that offers the crypto-related service must require for security for him / her and all users, activate 2FA.

If your account does not have the maximum security required, you cannot operate any transaction. Situations like yours have happened many times and it is time to think of safety first as the main rule.

Brother, in the future I wish you better luck!
829  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low will BTC go before the next leg up to 45-50k?? on: January 14, 2021, 12:03:46 AM
Guys, Please. hold your bitcoin. I am almost certain that we will not see the price of bitcoin fall again as in the past.

Big investors like MicroStrategy are working fast on creating business models with Bitcoin. With this good plan for Bitcoin, the big investors will make it the most important digital asset.
Bitcoin is possibly showing its scarcity in the market and we will regret selling it.

Another piece of evidence that relieved my concern about bitcoin's sudden crash last Sunday.

Looking at @ 100trillionUSD #bitcoin chart. So far kudos.

Yes 100k very possible by Q321 but then SIDEWAYS until 2024!

What will bitcoiners do for 3.5 years as mkt hovers around 2-3 trillion mkt value?

#Btc becomes stable pristine collateral as DAE gets built up around it.

830  Economy / Economics / Re: China Economy Forecasted to Surpass US Economy by 2028 on: January 09, 2021, 11:56:30 PM
Although I was not able to open your link. I did a search and found it.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/markets/china-expected-to-surpass-us-economy-in-2028-analysis/ar-BB1cfsIH

I agree with what the article says. Because it is quite obvious that now the USA is at a disadvantage because it is still dealing with the Covid19 pandemic. Which results in a backwardness in its economy and less productivity.

The opinion that you indicate that it should increase its population is very viable. Surely the USA will be creating adequate strategies to come out successfully in this crisis that very soon will begin to shine.
831  Economy / Economics / Re: 2021 not Looking good on: January 09, 2021, 11:33:32 PM
Perhaps the crypto community is not feeling the effects of the pandemic crisis because they can use their skills in managing their digital assets.

But what about those who depend on a job and are blocked by the second wave of Covid19 infections?

As long as this crisis exists, the world will be wanting to get out of this bad moment because life is limited in all aspects. The quality of life is not full and even worse, life is in danger.
832  Economy / Economics / Re: Money printing and inflation whos payed allready for this ? on: January 09, 2021, 10:51:14 PM
I am from Venezuela I live in a country with hyperinflation. In my country no more paper money has been printed. In fact, there is a shortage of paper money in my country, the bolivar.

We can manage the economy with the little existing circulating money, bolívar, US dollars, electronic transfers, payments for points of sale and most recently some businesses that are accepting crypto as a means of payment in the main cities of the country.

It is difficult and the most vulnerable people are the most affected by such a situation.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid 19 protecting value of money on: January 09, 2021, 09:57:19 PM
Covid19 does not protect the value of money.
On the contrary, due to the crisis, businesses are working at their medium capacity.
There are more expenses in the health networks of the world to relieve people affected by the virus.
There is less production in all sectors and we do not know how it will affect us in the immediate future.

As we have faith in God we know that we have a fertile land that as soon as we get out of the pandemic our fields will once again be more productive.
834  Economy / Economics / Re: SkyBridge launches SkyBridge Bitcoin Fund LP on: January 09, 2021, 09:38:03 PM
Thank you Mr. Fillippone. I love their threads because they illustrate us with a good analysis of the important topics about Bitcoin for the community.

Now you bring us an analysis of the SkyBridge firm which makes us happy how Bitcoin is taking a respected place as the best asset to invest. This news makes me happy for two reasons for Bitcoin and for investors in the USA who will have a new financial institution that will offer their services to protect their capital with Bitcoin. Because it is no secret to anyone that the USA, despite being a powerful nation, is suffering the effects of the pandemic and therefore its economy is at a disadvantage compared to other countries.

835  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits $40k on: January 09, 2021, 08:33:38 PM
The bitcoin ATH has been positive for all both Bitcoiners and the crypto market. Those projects that have not been able to develop their product have been left behind.

I look with hope that Bitcoin is such a powerful currency and that it can meet all the odds. The best part is that it is allowing the other coins to show the work for which they were created.

A new Bitcoin ATH is worth celebrating because it is backed by a community that prefers Bitcoin to the moon.

836  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First crypto Bank in the world on: January 09, 2021, 07:28:18 PM
Unicas the First Physical Crypto Banking brand in the world to offer all crypto-based services in Jaipur, India.
It is incredible but true! In this forum there was much talk about the controversies of the Indian nation about Bitcoin, many times banned but the Indians got away with it.

If you read the article you will find the graphics of the offices in Jaipur, India.
Congratulations to India for this great achievement as a nation because it means a great step to contribute to the empowerment of people and massive expansion.

Sometimes a news like this can sound contradictory when the crypto community is an advocate of decentralization but there are people who need the resource and knowledge to undertake and forge a future and institutions like these can provide the support they need.

837  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How One Can obtain bitcoins? on: January 09, 2021, 12:01:31 PM
Buying bitcoin on a recognized exchange is the best way. It has its advantages for being fast, safe, fair price, technical support and other benefits.
P2P exchanges are also good but they are not as fast as global exchanges.

Some wise advice do not trust your money to websites that offer to give more bitcoin for your money, they are usually scams.
838  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I sold out my satoshi on: January 08, 2021, 11:57:58 PM
Do not worry, if you sold your bitcoin. You did it because you had no other choice. If you want to invest again, don't think it is too late. Of course you will not have the same advantages as before because its price is progressively increasing.

But if you think that bitcoin would reach 40K, 50K, 60K ... 100K an investment now would be worth it. Market behavior is unpredictable, we have to be brave to take risks and not endanger our assets.
Good luck!
839  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the right time to reinvest into Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2021, 11:34:03 PM
I think we can still invest in bitcoin but we should not shy away from checking its price. The most fervent defenders of Bitcoin think that its price will not fall to the levels that we have seen, on the contrary it will continue its scale always ATH.

https://twitter.com/100trillionUSD/status/1347170578495635456?s=19

Although, we can think that there will come a time when everything will change if we see it from the less optimistic side, but as far as I have seen it is a small possibility.

840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More records for bitcoin as we welcome 2021. on: January 08, 2021, 11:05:06 PM
Bitcoin is creating a legacy in science, technology, and economics. It is not only the fact of making money for some but it is transforming the entire industry.

Now due to the crisis the path is to digitize all sectors and this change is beginning in the ways in which large capital investment institutions are setting their eyes on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, the next step is the banking institutions that are creating their own blockchain and coins.

Some bitcoin advocates think not to sell their precious asset but leaving it as generational wealth.

https://twitter.com/michael_saylor/status/1347621155738419200?s=19

At this important moment we are its great viewers because we have already seen the ups and downs of bitcoin and this new stage that will consolidate it as the most important asset.
