821  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sustainable Approach For Your Earnings in Gambling on: October 12, 2023, 11:02:04 AM
When it comes to gambling; only one thing sets apart gamblers from one another and this is the next step after winning. For me, i follow this simple strategy.

  • I have a go to plans, budget and i bet accordingly to that budget and plan
  • Immediately i win a bet; i go on a 3-4 days betting strike, why? I use this time to spend my earnings as already scheduled
  • For every bet earnings, i immediately withdraw 80% to my account for my scheduled plans; 5% for personal flaunts (You can call it enjoyment haha) and then i leave the remaining 15% to continue gambling into the next win.

With this approach, you will lead a successful gambling life, you will not spend all your winnings on "betting" and you will be able to point to one or two things in your life that you got with betting or gambling proceeds.

Do you think this is a good idea? Do you have a better idea?
Lets have it!

It's a great idea but gamblers have different orientation and different luck when they win games, their mode and approach differs too. I agree with your point but there is more time I twist some of your points.

Gambling is lucky base + skilled but irrespective of how and when you win, you should have wins in multiple, small loss or no loss at all, that's unavoidable though but anything netter than having loss all the time is the best. I know amount l use in betting, when that budget finish, I take a break whether I have a win or loss and I don't rollover losses, I believe anytime I lost a bet I don't go back to chase the initial, I often lose more than win back the initial loss, so rollover is always pointless.

For any bet I stake, if I have a win, I don't restake the money, that's like gambling on money I already made from gambling. If you are not cautious, you lose the profit again because betting platforms are smart, they will take back everything from you, when I win I withdraw it and I don't care how little it's as long as when I check my monthly deposited is lesser than withdrawal, then I'm good to go. That's how the circle continue everytime and I'm satisfied with my way.
822  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 12, 2023, 10:28:05 AM
At one of the local gambling shop I visited during the weekend I happened to listen to a conversation between two bald looking gamblers at the shop talking about one of their gambling colleague who had won a big amount of money amounting to a million in the local currency and due to that win this colleague of theirs' has been avoiding them since e won that money. From their conversation it was obvious that they were a circle of close three friends that gamble together.

After all I finished with my bet headed home and was asking myself what could the colleague act that way avoiding his close friends they all gambling together and just because luck shines on him first he decides to create a distance and class. I couldn't actually annex a good reason why anyone should do that.

You don't have to used the word bald you know, that crack me up Grin

Show me your friend and I will tell who you really are, they are friends and they know the best reason why they acted that way. True friends don't avoid each other when money comes, they may be just ordinary guys who hook up for games or maybe they bonded because they have common goals to win bets and also share update, they might not be that close. Real niggas will share or give to friend when they hit something good from betting.

I have seen people even avoid their family after winning a jackpot, some says their family disown them during those period they struggle to make ends and they cut ties because they gamble, there is no any reason why they need to come back to them after achievement of the dream and to me, it's fair. If you can't be their when I had nothing, then you and I have nothing together when the money comes. Some people could also be doing it because they are trying to avoid enemies, you don't know who and you don't know who may dislike you for winning large sum.
823  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes just flex it ( luck is all you need) on: October 11, 2023, 01:08:02 PM
Maybe it's your time now to hit that huge odds. Enjoy it, mate. That kind of experience is really common and usual to see on some bettors. At least, in the whole time of bettors experience doing sports betting, there will be at some point that they will nailed a huge odds.

To win a huge odd happen once in a lifetime, I will not even try it because you will most likely not win nothing, I mean not a single bet, there is a lot of combinational outcomes when you play huge odd, one or two loss will always step into your games. I will also not advice to flex, it is when you flex your bets the ones you skipped win and it's painful to see you lose huge money to flex when you have the opportunity to win big.

Quote
However, don't expect that hitting such huge odds will always happened.

It's not about luck but in sports betting, those huge odds are being provided based on factors set by bookies.

Big odds can result from stacking of odds, factors are there but when you have multiple games combine together, it increases the odd and increases your money as well as the risk involved, so you see where the problem lies, bookies are very smart and that's why people lose to betting everyday, hardly you see gambliers win from huge odds.
824  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: October 11, 2023, 12:25:47 PM
Galatasaray's defense is not very good either. They gave many open positions in the Manchester United match and Hojlund punished the Galatasaray defense with 2 goals. It is certain that it will be a difficult match against Bayern Munich, but Galatasaray needs to get at least 1 point in these 2 difficult matches so that their chances of finishing the group in second place increase.

It was too clear from their mistakes in defense but Manchester United were worse than them, how do you score and lead by a goal and then becomes defend less and even conceded an extra goal. I think Galatasaray are going to fight that in their next match against Bayern Munich but will Tuchel allow his boys to sleep on creating chances? I don't think so, regardless of their defensive players + defensive style, Bayern will find an arrrow to pass through that hole because Kane is going to there.

Current performance, Bayern Munich is favorite team for winning upcoming match against Galatasaray although the opponent team on top confidence after defeating Manchester United, but its not difficult for Bayern have quit well performance in Champion League by winning two matches in a row. Difference with Manchester United performance in Champion League, Bayern Munich have more experienced for winning all group matches and Galatasaray is not really difficult opponent team for getting three points.

But  Galatasaray could learned with Bayern Munich opponent teams easily scoring goals and seems how weakness with their defense area. Have played two matches, Bayern Munich conceded 4 goals and seems home work for Thomas Tuchel upcoming match have to make clean sheet or Galatasaray will be the next teams scoring goals again.

Galatasaray are not going to be  a threat to Bayern Munich, using Manchester United to judge the next performance against Bayern Munich is going to make bookies have a lot money to feed their bellies, the odds were going to be different in favour of Galatasaray but a wise gambler will pick Bayern Munich either straight win but to reduce the risk, a win or draw will do better fairness to their bet since Galatasaray aren't that dumb in their last games but I still think Bayern Munich are going to win this match and will not stop here until they pass the group stage.

Furthermore, inclusion of over 2.5 will also bring some money because I know for sure that Bayern will score nothing less than 2 goals and Galatasaray will want to equalizes as well to have an equal lead.

Regarding Chelsea vs Arsenal, I can’t envisage Chelsea getting anything from the game. Arsenal have momentum now and that’s so important. Chelsea have players that could hurt Arsenal but they’re just a bit of a mess at the moment, unless they really raise their game, all I see is an Arsenal win.
I agree with you, winning against Manchester City in the previous match gives Arsenal momentum which will give them more confidence when facing teams with strengths below City.
Playing at Stamford Bridge will not provide many benefits for Chelsea because this season they are not special when playing at home, some of the defeats they suffered in front of their own fans at home, without underestimated Chelsea, the best result they might achieve in the match against Arsenal later is a draw and even that will be achieved with great difficulty.

Who knows if they hang Hazard Eden banner as they promised the next match they are going to play against Arsenal, maybe it will be bring some memories since it's a home game as first advantage to dabble on Arsenal and second advantage is that Chelsea last match against Burnley was courageous with 4 goals to 1 that help them adjust a little in the standing but the disadvantage of this is that Arsenal also beat Manchester City in their last game, how more of Chelsea will come as a surprise, Arsenal don't look like they are going to have any loss anytime soon, only Arsenal and Chelsea hasn't lost to any team.

The victory against Manchester city will be a pioneer of enthusiasm for Arsenal and indeed this is a good momentum for them, it's just that when talking about momentum then of course we know that Chelsea are also currently in a good trend after bad results they always get in the previous few matches. This will be interesting to watch even though I still feel Arsenal will be able to bring full points but this is a test for Chelsea because when they can't win at least 1 point in this match then it could be that the positive trend they have built is destroyed again.

Good trend from Chelsea? I'm satisfied with their last 3 matches but is that enough to depend on that trend, the style  and ways which they win the last one was because Burnley was a weak team, they had it the easy way and the remaining last 2 was by luck. Yes, it was luck, I will not believe Chelsea is back on track until they win Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester City, those are the teams I'm looking forward to see the FT. If they can even win 2 out of that 3, then they are good to go else, Pochettino need to see the board for some key decisions.
826  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Relying on gamble wins is dangerous to mental health on: October 11, 2023, 11:02:34 AM
I met a friend who used about $1 to play gamble to win about $2500 in a game of different matches, all the early games went well but the last game cut which made him loose the game.  This lose made him to be sick for 3 days, the reason for his reaction was not because of the money he used to bet but he felt so bad because he has already put all his hope on the money he would have won.

Have been in this world many times and I can feel his anger. This happened a lot when your desire exceed your finance and then yiu begin to hope on gambling and it is when your hopes are high the bet do cut, most of the time is even the last game that do cut these tickets. Just imagine having a 10 games where you stake $1 and 9/10 had played and all won left with 1 remaining, either you voluntarily put mind or not, the mind will be there but putting all hopes on it is not good, there is no way you wouldn't full the impact if it eventually failed. That's how dangerous it is to hope on betting for living.

Quote
People needs not to put all their hope in games they are not sure of winning, because relying on it can be very dangerous to the mental health. Play gamble and remove your mind from the money that will be gained till it is achieved.

Sometimes, isn't there fault, some situations will make you have hopes and them all of sudden, it collapse and then you have to start again. Not good to depend on money from gambling but having your games coming upto 97% chance of almost winning and then everything went down zero is traumatizing particularly when big money is involved.

There are even sometime you lost gambling descipline in this similar situations, you just don't know how to help it but over react. However, staying long and angry about it is not good. Laugh it off and try again.
827  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 11, 2023, 10:50:37 AM

It's a shame that Eden Hazard's career faded when he was at Real Madrid because he spent too much time on the bench and suffered an injury which reduced his performance even though at Chelsea he was able to win a title there, even though Eden Hazard hoped that when he joined Real Madrid Eden Hazard would achieve a lot title here but in fact the reality did not go according to his expectations and now he has to retire and end his football career even though he is not too old to retire, I hope Eden Hazard will one day become a great coach, whatever club he will debut at, but I just wants Eden Hazard to continue appearing in European football to continue to make his name in the world of football.

What shame are you talking about, you can't blame him for having countless injuries for trying to fight for the club he had a contract for. Didn't you see what he did for Chelsea, out of all the clubs he went to, Chelsea was the best place he went to which he did a hard work for himself, the stats are there but ever since he came to Real Madrid, faith hasn't favour him and all the time he return from the injury, Anceloti didn't use him because he feared he will likely enter another injury and that will be at the expenses of the club finances which is better.

Despite been bench countless times, they make sure he is always among the squad that represents Real Madrid in very of their matches, so anytime the club win a trophy, he also win and it's ways included in his record history, since he came to Real Madrid, he has won two Champions League, that will remain stick to his name forever.

The fact that he retired early was brave of him, he has lose shape because there were many reports of him not even going for trainings, now tell me who is going to sign a player that is now twice his size, who is going to sign a player that is always a risk to injury, nobody unless he want to settle for minor club which will be the end of his career, retiring at this stage earned back maximum respect from football.
828  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin (DOGE) Pumps 10% As Elon Musk Links Memecoin To X on: October 08, 2023, 03:01:12 PM
A Dogecoin video artist just helped create an animation for Twitter’s “X” logo that was picked up by Elon Musk.
Dogecoin (DOGE) shot up another 10% on Tuesday on greater excitement surrounding Elon Musk’s rebranding of Twitter to “X”.
Tuesday’s rise follows a related post on Musk’s Twitter, where the tech mogul appeared to link X to the famous dog meme. Source

If you're successful, there is nothing in this life that cannot be influenced, that's a fact unless you have not reach that spot were you can be call a successful person. This is exactly what Elon Musk does, use his story to create more wealth where government has and where they don't have a say. However, what is going to be the action of SEC is what I'm yet to decipher, they only oppress those who they can only control, what differentiate Elon and centralized exchanges of insider trading, tell me.

Dogecoin was able to reach where it is now through Elon, if one day he decide to free the project the way hee screw everyone when he ditch bitcoin when bitcoin need him the most, lots of people are might regret holding it. Dogecoin doesn't hold value like bitcoin but he enjoyed toying with it because he knows that people will not held him responsible for his actions because nonsense is what they don't entertain, he should continue whether he will until SEC get full of him and decide to invite him over for questioning.
829  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you the spot/Future Trader Then this is the best tool for you. on: October 08, 2023, 02:28:50 PM
Hi everyone i am sharing the best upcoming project for the Traders where you can do spot trading , future trading with 125x leverage the name is 0xfutures.trade isn't it amazing.
No other project offers this much leverage and there is not restrictions for leverage also traders can do spot trading with limit orders.
and best part is everything will be automatically confused? They have a telegram bot where you have to provide the parameters for spot trading and future trading else their bot take care for your trading and i am sure easily maximize my profits. I am a full time traders and looking for this tool now I finally found one what's your opinion?
Website link are below: https://0xfutures.trade/

Too good to be true. If your service is that amazing, you should have just keep it as trade secrets and not bring it for the public to use but I know you are lying my friend, there is nothing amazing about 125X unless your are nothing but a gambler. You mean to tell me I can use your tool to make 125X just like that, show me your prototype history of trades and then the withdrawal and I will believe after that, I know you have nothing in it.

Secondly, why not register a dot com domain officially since this is a company. Unless you are in beta phase, there is no need to be using a dot trade domain for your website, at first glance people might think you are just another scammer which from your write indicated already, Discord would have been better option to convince people, telegram houses lots of scammed activity

My review on the website, remove that video on mobile phone view, it disturb the first page or make it hyperlink wrapped with YouTube html, make sure change that color, yellow looks odd.
830  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralization vs. Decentralization on: October 08, 2023, 01:39:01 PM
Hello fellow Bitcointalkers!

I've been mulling over this for quite some time, and I feel it's time to dive into one of the most profound topics in the crypto world: Centralization vs. Decentralization. I've noticed this duality splits the community and I wonder, is there a balance to strike?

Centralization:

Pros: Potential for faster transaction throughput, a focal point of control and regulation, easier to implement changes and updates.
Cons: Risk of a single point of failure, susceptibility to censorship, a tendency towards monopolization.

You forgot to include potential hack, threat to privacy, possible lost of funds. You didn't look into FTX before you write out the cons of centralization.
I don't understand what you mean by throughput, what is exactly is centralized maximizing in a centralized system except for database and optimizations which comes with at the expense of KYC, you can't use their service if you are not verified, is there anything special about that? I'm even trying to picture one good advantage of centralization but the thought of centralized exchanges will not make me see much benefits but demerits of using them. Centralizations always put their ambition before the people.

Quote
Decentralization:

Pros: Censorship resistance, enhanced security through distribution, inheriting the initial spirit of Bitcoin and the idea of autonomy.
Cons: Potentially reduced scalability, decision-making difficulties, possibility of fragmentation and disparities.
It's clear both come with their merits and demerits. But, do we need to acknowledge that both can coexist? Are there situations where centralization could be beneficial? Can there be a balance?

Eager to hear your thoughts! I believe it's vital to discuss these matters to guide the future of blockchain tech and cryptocurrencies in the right direction.

Let's have a fruitful discussion!

Without decentralization, centralization will die quickly but decentralization will remain functional until it last breath of the people that protects it's ecosystem, the reason why we have centralization today is because of decentralization, Dex can survive with Cex but if table were to turn around, the latter will not make it. So Dex win and I don't think decentralization are even forcing balance, no need for that unless cex's are trying hard.
831  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS THE FUTURE OF BLOCKCHAIN GAMBLING? GAMBLEFI-HYPE OR REAL DEAL? on: October 08, 2023, 01:25:34 PM
We have all seen the word GambleFi trending on all sorts social medias. Being a veteran that frequents all the casinos in Vegas, I was even curious enough to play a few rounds. So kinda wanna hear from you guys and pick you guys' brain a bit see what your thoughts on the future of gambling. Will GambleFi really redefine this trillion dollar business or just all about hype.

GameFi is nothing new to crypto, they all came when altcoins were walking under the shadow of DeFi and guess what, many of them are buried under 6 feet, they were short term investment vehicle that only lasted when they were hot, if you see any of them trending, that's probably because of there is one of them that is trending or perhaps people are pumping to make money, social media is one of the ways this projects are spread but just to comfirm them, coinmarketcap and coingecko is going to do justice to clear doubt about gamefi projects.

Most of the new projects that are even focus on gamefi don't really invest in casino games and that makes me ask why the casinos we have in the Forum all see this trend but they never for once make a move about it, it's probably because they are making it in the business without any hype while they make real money without noise to convince anyone, the right people will come with good marketing.

In papers, gamefi make a lot of sense, but in real sense, they may not work like that. Maybe this is just another phase of Real estate tokenizations we had back then during the time ICO, they are all buried and people hardly discuss about it, maybe this is another phase people might soon forget.
832  Economy / Economics / Re: Agriculture vs oil on: October 07, 2023, 11:43:49 AM
We know the oil market is booming and countries with oil resources are really making a huge fund out of it and sometimes they do it at the negligence of another local natural resource.

But, of course, the agricultural sector, though not given the proper recognition and the required investment is one sector that contributes seriously to the development and dependence of most nations .

No!, that's not entirely accurate as you describe. Oil is given first class priority onlyby the countries that have this resources, they are blessed Hy nature and since oil is an catalyst that boom their economy, they don't joke with it, in addition they are in abundant which means they make more revenue from it and hence the reason why such counties don't prioritize agriculture. Use Qatar for example, they are oily rich country that grow littlenon agriculture.

Other countries on the other hand that are not oil dependents don't have choice but to concentrate on other sectors like Technology and agriculture, use China as example, they don't have oil but that has not stop their economy from been the leadership in the world, they still dominate this world with wealth despite not been not oil country and they are blessed with medicines too, other countries patronize them also and they make mad money from these  alternatives.

Quote
No matter how blessed a country is with oil minerals, if its agricultural sector isn't working and she has to rely on other country for her food and agricultural resources then in event of war or political differences they might suffer.

Agriculture vs oil, which is the big deal when it comes to the economic strength of a country?

Whether you want Agricultural or Oil, it's depend on the country that has the oil, Countries that are blessed with abundant oil reserve and gas reserve might focus on Oil production than Agricultural and countries that don't have oil will focus on Agriculture to enhance their economy.
833  Economy / Economics / Re: Women are more economical than men. on: October 07, 2023, 10:43:26 AM
We had this argument where I was the opinion that most men spend money on things that they are obligated to and cannot control it at times due to responsibilities, men are used to spending money already and because of being used to it, they can find it hard to be as economical as women can be. Do you agree with this unpopular opinion that women are more economical when it comes to money and are able to manage themselves and their homes better than men do?

You miss one thing before you started the discussions. You should have said intelligent and intellectual women and not some hungry hoe that are looking for a rich man that will remove them from poverty so they can live the expensive imaginary life they have always pray to have. Society has made women dependent, while the man go out and look for the money and with this because the pain we go through to make the money, we are better economical person than the ladies, only few of them that work spend their money wisely, they are known to live large except for the few of them.

I think economical is something that has to do with tolerance, upbringing, exposure and, descipline. If you are the type.of person that live an extravagant and flamboyant life without an atom of descipline, been economical type of person is far ahead of you, without it you will live life of discontent, nothing you will do that will work out that involves money whether you are man and woman, not about gender but individual.
834  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long to learn trading? on: October 07, 2023, 09:55:04 AM
I spoke to a tutor who teaches trading, and he said for his lectures, he teaches for an extended period of nine months for anyone who wants to learn trading from him. Please I like to read the personal experience of some traders here, how long did it take you to learn to trade profitably, and what was the hardest thing to learn? did it take you weeks, months or years? Do you think that trading can be learnt well in a short time like three weeks for a quick trader? Can someone who is a proffesional trader just go straight to the point pointing out what is needed to make a successful trader to a newbie to learn quickly?

There is measure to how people understood learning a new thing, some trainees understand everything in all the stages, from beginning to the middle and the end, some find it hard in the early stage but towards the middle and the end, they understand better; some people might not understand anything until the toward the end and there are even some that might not get it in the training until they repeat it on their own, so I think there is a reason why your tutor said 9 months. The syllabus might also be broad too.

For trading, I don't think you will understand everything you learn from trading while learning, just as I said earlier, there are some experience that will not come when you are learning trading, they come during your personal trading journey, there are even some trading secret he has experience but wouldn't want to share it with you guys. So, just make sure you learn what is needed, from there you can learn to be own your own.
835  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The most risky adventure you must avoid on: October 07, 2023, 09:45:25 AM
Boom, the headline cut your attention right? That's perfect . There are lots of risks in business, investment and trading which is not new to anyone. They have become a common life phenomenal.
However, the worst risk in the world which I am here to advice everyone at this moment is that it is MOST RISKY  not to take risk.
All great men of our time, have taken one risk and the other, break the barricade of fears and venture into the uncertainty as you uncover your potential.

Riski doesn't entails only investment and trading. Life is full of chances, ups and down and if you don't want to remain down, you have to take risk in anything legit to succeed. Going to school today isn't a guarantee that you are going to have a job later in the future but we risk it and invest money on it, some along the line made it to the final year and graduate while some dropped out along the line with fund wasted. Even after the graduation, few are going to have their dream jobs while some will be jobless in the line of their career, I hope you see how the risk turned out.

Quote
Well to be sincere with you, everyone who had taken risk and had come with a success story have one common line of story to tell us all that they have taken a calculated risk. Every investor, trader and the rest should learn to take a well calculated risk.

To know more and gain more experience requires taking some risk that will help you learn. As a trader, just reading without practicing what you have learnt which involve some level of risk does you no good than having an ordinary head knowledge.
Don't forget that risk is venturing into the uncertainty, so endeavor to keep it a calculated risk before diving into the final decision.

This is not just about trading, this is about anything connecting to human life. Let this words be taken beyond the four walls of trading to every aspect of human life and see the result thereafter. Most important message here is to take a calculated risk

There are so many obstacles in life that you have to make a step ahead if you don't want to be left behind, you can't do without risk, check out marriage for instance from statistics, how many divorcee do we have in our society, it's not working anymore for some people but does that mean you shouldn't try and find a happy home? No! You have too find a happy home and the only way to do that is by giving it a try.

Likewise trading and investment, business failed and investments turn zero but shouldn't mean you never to try, the richest people we have around today have risk all they have back then to acquire the level of wealth they had today.
836  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Cash without KYC? on: October 07, 2023, 09:03:38 AM

So, I have USDT. But I don't want to register for centralization exchange where I must KYC to exchange USDT into my local Fiat. What can I do? how to exchange it?

Fiat is regulated by central banks, to get your hands on it the quickest way, you should be ready for KYC but alternative as others have suggested, make use of Bisq and HodlHodl but the rate conversation will be slightly lower than other centralized exchanges that patronize more customers. But if I may, there should be a dedicated local board for you where you can do this easily, there are fiat sellers and buyers here on the forum, that's should be fine but checki their reputation or if you must, get an escrow but that also comes with a charges.

Quote
If KYC, I can exchange it on Binance or my local exchange where all have paired with USDT. But I won't it, because I don't want people to know my identity when withdraw it into my local bank.

I also seeing many people selling bank accounts on my local online shop, but of course, it's illegal, the seller might be taking it back to the account after I deposited the money.

this is very confusing me, I can exchange BTC to USDT without KYC and register using eXch exchange, but still confused to cash (USDT) into my local fiat and spending it.

These will land you in prison faster than than kyc you are trying to avoid. Don't buy a stolen bank account, even if the seller accept third party account, it's more like money laundering and the person in originally in charge of the account can report the destination of the money.

You don't have to under go long process of converting from USDT, your BTC will converted in real time to fiat and that's what the seller is going to be sending for you. Just indicate your local board or language and go to the market board and create a thread that you want to exchange BTC to a fiat, there should be a person ready to come for your service. Some may ask for charges though.
837  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which games offer the best chance of a big win? on: October 06, 2023, 11:22:25 AM
Since the total amount of winning is equal in proportion to the amount of odds accumulated and the amount used to stake the bet,  if your luck is on the high side football betting seems to give such possible rewards in most cases since it games can easily be analyzed and sometime book marker tries to play smart one by giving out obvious odds that could give any smart bettor a chance to get lucky and win big depending on the level of risk the gambler can take.

But I have seen someone who won almost 21 million in my local currency before but he used close to two hundred thousand of my country's currency to stake the bet,  so the bigger the risk the bigger the rewards and the losses also,  it all depends.

I think winning bets is dependent on location and region. Asians for instance dominance in casino games is a top notch, there is no continents that come close to them but here in Africa, football is what they play very well and that is because the only thing available. Here in Nigeria, the rate at which bettors win bet is here, I don't think casinos are really patronized like that and when they win this bookies, they win heavily.

I have seen some win as close to 48 million, if that was converted to usd, that is equivalent to $48,000, even if you are staying outside Africa, that's enough to live good life in developed countries. Bettors are winning big here but I must confess that some are losing as well. The money bettors lose yearly is more than what few winners make from betting.

Well.. I hope that she learns from her mistake. These sort of issues arise when people who are new to gambling indulge in it, without learning about the rules and possible consequences. A lot of people start like this. Some of them are scarred with the initial experience and never venture again. Some others learn from their mistakes and become more responsible for their actions. And then there is the last category, who lose their mental balance and start chasing after the losses. And we all know which group will end up in big trouble.

Obviously, they know the risk behind gambling but greed will not let them be, they will make decisions that will hurt them and when it doesn't favour them, they manipulate people around them, greed people are insatiable with this habit. When they have money, they spend recklessly the way they want and when they notice that the money is going zero, they risk it to bet thinking the money can be double and if this don't happen, they cry victim. Almost everybody on earth knows what gambling is about and she knows exactly what she was going into, she is not a baby.

if he knows gambling hurts him why should he follow it. not many people are ruined by gambling. he knows the limits in gambling. He should be an adult at that age and can think about that. but if it's like this, wouldn't it be a good idea to take him to a psychology doctor? I'm sure that can help him.

The subject says it's a she and you are consoling her as a he.  Undecided
Don't act like you don't know that they know what gambling is/was about, even if she don't know. She could have just try it with a few dollars and see the outcome and if it's not favorable thing to play, she could have stop but from OP explanations, she lost a bet and was looking for sympathy with cry, is that how life works. Next time, she will learn better, life itself is not fair.

It's a tough one for Gunners and very much possible that City might be able to pull of a win here but Gunners have improved a lot and at this point they are the only one close opponent to City. Rest are not that consistent so I am really hoping for an Arsenal win here as this will change the title race exciting from the beginning. We need some change in our tactic a bit and suprise City with our performances and I hope Arteta has something special planned out for the game against City.
After the defeat in the Champions League, this was a major blow for Arsenal, the team nicknamed the Gunners had not been defeated in several weeks, the team led by Mikel Arteta did not drag on or mourn the defeat for a long time, another match was waiting, and the schedule was so busy that players need to maintain extra stamina, there are several injured players in the Champions League, this will make Arteta worry about the next match against Manchester City, Arteta has to change tactics in the match scheme later, which player is suitable for the match later, only Arteta can know the potential of each player, playing and being supported at home creates enthusiastic motivation in chasing numbers in the Premier League standings.

Worry not, Arsenal is doing fine and will do fine after this as well. I'm only waiting to see how bad Saka injury was because that's Arsenal main guy, it been a long time since the guy went for injury, he is always extra careful, I don't know why this went bad, or perhaps over excitement of the Champions League but if worst happen, Jesus is going to take his place and then Nketia will be fit for center forward, we can manage like that until he is back from the injury, he will surely play the rest of the season.

It's when Arsenal is going to have important match they are having minor challenges but nothing to worry about. Manchester United worst they can do is equalize and they are going to have 1 point each because Saka might be out, they also have Kelvin and Rodri out for now and the last EPL round they had with wolves, they lose to them but Chelsea are going to lose to Arsenal, there is no any other ways around it, they are going to lose and we will rebound our spot in the standing. Not giving up until that 1st place is occupied.

The fact is now that the player they brought in has not shown anything good, and even defeats come from mistakes he made. Onana may have done well at his previous club, but he hasn't managed to show that with Manchester United. I wonder if they now regret dumping David De Gea? Because the player who replaced him is now making a lot of mistakes.
The defense is a crucial point because if they make mistakes then the ball will go into their net, and that's what's happening right now. I think they should take Onana off for a few games and give their current backup goalkeeper a chance.

I'll say this a billion times, if it's not the blunder from Onana against Bayern Munich ( The exact poor shot taken by Sane Leroy ) then, whoever blames and lash out on Onana knows nothing about football period.
The red card leading to Casemiro being sent off was Onana's error, as it was a short pass from him to Casemiro. The two other goals in that game against Galatasaray has got to be from the defense and part of the midfielder's.

You know ball, Onana is helpless when the defenders are playing like zombies, Onana will do better when the defenders have done all their best but helpless, that's where Onana comes but everyone is quick to point fingers for all the errors in their match, if Ten Hag should concrete that holes in the center back, they will play well because that is the only place they need to repair, they should give Onana some break.

Professionalism is important, if it was some Midfielders, they will control that ball Casemiro had a hand ball easily but sometimes things are difficult than we see with ordinary eyes, I don't still blame Onana for that red card, he did what was quick in his head to push the ball from his place.

Amrabat lose his guard for adding too much pressure on a player beating him with body feint. That same player was not well locked down only for him to create that chance leading to that equalizer making it 2-2.
Varane and Lindelof so poor that they couldn't read and calculate the game clearly.

The first was from Dalot, too soft on Wilfred Zaha, forgetting how strong he is and that he's a black man. Onana has done errors but those errors can only be seen by those who analyze and watch football without bias.

Let's say the defenders were all loose and not competent in their job. What about Erik job. He knew how tense the match turned, at 77 minutes when Casemiro bag red card. He should have immediately put in Antony instantly even when he should have been there since the beginning but he had to wait 85 minute to sub Mount for Antony. Why will you have to wait for pressure to decide. Wasted good 9 minutes for nothing.
