The next EverGreenCoin Community Meeting and Hangout will be this Saturday the 27th, at 17:00 GMT. I will post a link to the google hangout prior to the meeting's start. I do ask that attendees be especially prompt this weekend as myself and other members of the community are still doing our planting of fields, gardens, and such. I hope to keep the meeting under 2 hours with this in mind, as it is in the middle of the day for some.
Microphone, speakers, video, and even participation are optional. You're more than welcome to come and just observe. There is group text chat you can or cannot participate in.
All are welcome and I do hope to see you there!
p.s. If you would like to attend but need to shift the time + or - to guarantee your attendance, please do speak up as soon as possible so we have ample time to adjust. If we can, we will gladly do so.

when the release of new wallet? I can't access now the previous version.
Hi klermed, the latest and greatest EverGreenCoin version, version 1.6, was released on March 18, 2017. The next release is not scheduled as of yet. What is the previous version you are speaking of? We hard forked with version 1.5 so, only version 1.5 or version 1.6 are applicable. If you are referring to a prior version, you must upgrade. You can find an EverGreenCoin version 1.6 wallet at https://evergreencoin.org/download Upgrading is easy, you only need to run the new executable and not the old version. However, as with any upgrade, it is recommended you make a backup of your wallet.dat file prior to upgrading. Just to be safe. I hope I have cleared any confusion. |

Nice pop. Lots going on. For me, the legal entity of the foundation is huge. Gives credibility and structure. The big payoff though is the solar staker. Imagine pointing a solar panel to the south, connecting to a device that runs on its own and earns you 7% annually JUST FOR STICKING IT IN THE SUN!

 The next revision of the staking Android EverGreenCoin wallet is nearing completion, ETA: this week. As I have indicated in this picture, we have resolved almost all of the community's concerns. Very few concerns, such as the export file dialog's file selection, are limited by the Qt software on Android and, at this time, can not be improved upon in any way. This will be the version to be added to Google Play Store, having addressed in every way possible concerns the community raised of the first version, that would only have been more frustrating for "average" Android users that may find the app in the store. Only adding to the Play Store after this blemishes are corrected is in the best interest of EverGreenCoin. There is one final blemish, the size of the text in the 'recent transactions' table, that is actively being corrected before this new version will be made available. Thanks and have a great week! |

Soil tests and ground tests have started to determine the exact location of the first EverGreenCoin sponsored water well in Bangladesh. Details of the plaque mounted to the water well that will read, "This water well was funded by the EverGreenCoin community. EverGreenCoin.org Water Is Life." have been given to the construction crew. The entire process can take 9 months to complete but of course, I will continue to report details of the progress as soon as I get them. Thanks for all the support and have a great weekend! |

The rules are yet to be finalized also, but it is safe to say they will be similar to other signature campaigns as we are looking at other successful campaigns as reference. I will add you to the list of people expressing interest. Thank you for doing so. |

Almost half way there already Getting the nonprofit status will hopefully help us grow the community and allow us to do more projects. How are the signatures comming along? Yes, the nonprofit status will open many doors for EverGreenCoin and the foundation. I am very excited about taking EverGreenCoin to a new level and greatly appreciate all the help in doing so. We had a meeting about the signatures this morning actually. Some of the attendees would like to see more signatures made before we make final discussions. On that note, if anyone in the community has experience with creating ascii art, please PM me. Hopefully, we can get the signature campaign launched in the near future. A Nonprofit Organization is a legal entity and is typically run to further an ideal or goal rather than in the interests of profit. It is the goal of the EverGreenCoin Foundation to help the public and the members of the Nonprofit. The Foundation will be the legal branch of the EverGreenCoin community, helping members in the areas where legal counsel is needed or required. The EverGreenCoin Foundation will be incorporated in the US State of Ohio by Mr. Steven Saxton. Permits and legal fees are expensive to form a Nonprofit Organization, so we ask the community to help us so we can help each other. If you would like to help EverGreenCoin grow, you can do so by visiting the website and participating in the crowdfund.
