Some people just participate in the bounties and wait for few years. they don't sell their bounty rewards for low fiat reward. Ironically those people become FIAT millionaires.  Thx for bounties! In my opinion, not, bitcoin growth is increasingly rapidly making the price will continue to increase in the future, especially when bitcoin runs out in the mine and in the market will be more expensive.
Everything will certainly want it to happen. But I am concerned about the impact of the BCC, some predict that bitcoin prices will decline. But I personally see the current price chart of course will trust the price of bitcoin will increase. Predicting bitcoin price is one of the hard part of being bitcoin users especially to the newly started. However in question will ever see bitcoin lower than $1000? My answer is no, because if you see or review the environment of bitcoin, most of the users was favorable to bitcoin. Moreover bitcoin had high credibility in crytocurrencies industry, so we have no reasons to panic if bitcoin price is smoothly fall down. Because we know that after declining of bitcoin value, it was increasing rapidly. The thing you said was definitely right on which when we saw bitcoins price would tend to decrease or dip but eventually we would see that it bounce back anytime and increase even more over time.Answering about 1k price drop wont really be possible as of these days since we would able to see that bitcoin do have a strong support which means it wont easily go back on that price point. So far we did see some dips but only on 1800 price. |

I learned a lot of information about Bitcoin through this forum only, here we have the right to discuss the things what is happening in the world about the Bitcoin. You can see a lot of answer for those which will help us to learn new things. This is why i dont even bother on searching for another forum since this is the first forum i did learn all the things about bitcoin and altcoin or even lots of stuffs on crypto world which im very thankful to my friend who do introduce it to me about bitcoin and also to this forum which really helps me a lot but there are other bitcoin forum which i do know like forum.bitcoin.com its also a good forum too but with lesser people than to this bctalk but still a good forum too. |

How can you say that you are not a Bitcoiner? Thinking off that those coins that you do make profits on ICO would be generally return on bitcoin to exchange them into fiat. (correct me if im wrong.) This is the common thing that i do on which i do end up on exchanging those coins to btc and decide to cash-out. Therefore you can still consider yourself as an bitcoiner. |

It might be a good kind of parasite if you will ask me. With the first notice of BCC when it came to news, there was situations when people started panicking, went to wallets, exchanges and started selling down everything they have got and ultimately big dump started to occur. This was first good thing because when later the news came that BCC won't be having much support and BIP91 is stable then the price started rising and people invested like Crazy. Now that's the period when smart people invested money and got rich too. That was now good parasite for them. It made bitcoin more healthy.
Well this thing would really be good for those who have money and wise enough to roll over regarding on earning opportunities. As i can see on BCC there would really be some support on that one no matter how much we do hate it because there are people who do see that this coins might be useful later on which the would really tend to buy or even put their bitcoin on BCC supported wallets just to earn it freely. |

I have been making an analysis about how people is getting real rich thanks to the increse of BTC and it is amazing to think that people are getting real rich, lets hope and this will continue so the people that holds very little BTC also gets rich.
This is the analisis I made:
On February 1st 2015 you will need 4,219 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 10,125,600 usd
On Febraury 1st 2016 you will need 2,681 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 6,434,400 usd
On February 1st 2017 you will need 992 BTC to have 1 million USD, now that is worth: 2,380,800 usd
Today you need 404 BTC to have 1 million USD ( the person who has now 404 BTC it is millionaire, and in Feb 2015 just had with the same 404 BTC 95,757 USD

Will ETH also stop trading this JULY 31st to August 1 UTC in exchanger sites? and will USDT be affected in this BTC update?
I dont think that ETH would be affected on this upcoming August 1 since it has nothing to do with the event since its just purely for bitcoin and theres no relation between the two which means it not possible for it to be closed too but only bitcoin will only experience such things on this August 1. Trading would still continue and now seeing the price its already dumping as far as i can see. Time to buy some cheap eth later on. |

There are some difference between trading altcoins and trading bitcoin, daily traders must know about this.
Trading is a gambling in my opinion, whether you make profits or loss.
But in bitcoin environment, there's no loss after I invest on it because the value of bitcoin keep increasing over time.
All I have to do is looking for the dip to buy and hold it for long term.
On the other hand, altcoins prices could change instantly depends on the market, so do not buy random coins but choose some famous altcoins, to check the prices look at coinmarketcap.
Trading can really be gambling if you really dont know how to trade and if you are doing day tradings then for sure you will lose up money. You can able to say that you didnt lose up on bitcoin since you are pertaining on long term holds which would eventually give you profit knowing price do really increase in upcoming months or even on weeks/days basis. Trading on alts is somehow hard but actually they do have the same concept. |

Agreed with poloniex and bittrex, please note that trading is against USDT or BTC, not the USD.
However if you want to trade ETH against USD or other fiat currencies, you may want to consider coinbase.
Thanks for pointing out that the trading is against USD. Not sure if i want to trade against BTC, cant rap my mind around the concept right now, it could be more difficult to understand market fluctuations . But as I understand in this case I can use USDT for starters. Much appreciated all other answers, will check out the traders.  It would really depend on your preference on which pair you would decide to trade and as you said predicting a certain coin/currency would really be hard. if i were you just stick to your traditional ways of trading of a particular pair with eth.Usually traders do always choose eth/usd. I would recommend poloniex and bittrex.. i havent still heard about etoro. |

I dont have too much trust on websites offering this Bitcoin> Paypal transactions just like been said above the site given i would not use their service and would rather to transact with legit people. Yes , for the issue of big hacking of Ethereum it will take much time for the ethereum to get back in its ATH price before .Maybe that 5 years may we see some improvements in security of ETH and its new high price . Strengthen its security should really be the main concern here and this should be resolved as fast as they can specially to those 3rd party developer who do make use of eth based platforms in able to avoid such hacking incident along the way because when i saw that theres a hacking incident do happen on eth ecosystem it does really somehow affects it credibility. Reaching its ath again would really takes time for sure. |

This is just an another pump dump coin i cant see any potential on this coin why it should be bought or to be used. Having low marketcap doesnt mean that most of them will shoot to the moon. I have seen the graph it would really start to dump or decrease its price now which is really not a good idea to enter because if you did bought on cheap price you wont know if it would rise up again or dump forever.

i'm one who spend too much time for trading. I made so many stupid mistakes because of thinking emotionally instead of logically.  what is your opinion? Its not really bad on spending too much time on trading since there are are active traders which do really spend their times on doing trading. This would really depend on what kind of trader you are. The suggested thing on here is when you do know how to stop specially when your mind or brain is quiet tired on doing trading because once you are tired you cant execute trades properly which causes mistakes. which causes for us to lose up money. |

I think it is hard to tell which ICO is profitable. It is always a good idea to take a look at the devs history and who is recommending their project. There are some people in crypto who are a trusted source (to me).
For a long-term perspective, a very right-wing approach. If you want to make a profit faster, then you can turn things over to other information. This is not always the case. Profit making on ICO might be fast or slow depending on how it goes. Identifying possible profitable is somehow hard but i do always see on physical aspects and those coins being listed on each year category does really have progress which we can almost see they are on the top of ranking which is good for those people who jumped in. |

I see all these topics ( especially related to crypto-investment advices ) where someone asks " hey i have X ammount of fiat and i want to invest it in some shitcoins give me advice pl0x " and everyone is wisely advising "whatever you do invest in BTC also , BTC gonna be 10.000 in a couple of weeks, btc rulz " . Why ?
Don't get me wrong, in my opinion the blockchain is as revolutionary as the introduction of the world wide web, but as Bitcoin goes , besides being the first of it's kind(sort of) what's more to it ? There are other products that do it's job better, faster, safer and more private ( am i wrong ? Please correct me if i am )

In the near future, we cannot see BTC disappearing. It's so popular that people cannot tolerate its dump.
People could possibly do that for which they do decide already to dump their bitcoin which would really make for bitcoin to disappear but i do strongly believe that this thing is somehow impossible to happen knowing that bitcoin do really have lots of users which is really superior on any altcoins in the market.They might using some alts but they wont really leave bitcoin behind for sure. |
