841  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stablecoin censorship on: October 24, 2023, 01:31:26 AM
They are popular due to the fact that most people don't read about their disadvantages and they will just learn about it the hard way when their stablecoins are frozen due to some suspicious activities or transactions. I experienced how to have your assets frozen and it was not a good experience because I had a hard time explaining it to them finally I just need to send them a few documents in order to release my crypto assets in their exchanges. I guess when you have a huge amount of those stablecoins, you will gonna need some extra papers to prove them you are innocent before they let you use back your crypto. this is not the best altcoin to have for obvious reasons.
842  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I think gambling is inbuilt, kids don't learn it anywhere, they do it! on: October 24, 2023, 01:03:21 AM
Back then in our community, kids didn't know about gambling until some other groups of people came and they introduced lots of varieties of games where you can bet your money. there was no internet back then and it would be a worse scenario if it happened today because there are no limits anymore and no one will gonna attempt to close them because it's not that easy to shut them down when they are online.
843  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralised exchange getting better than Decentralised exchange? on: October 24, 2023, 12:29:42 AM
It's all preferences really.  There are good and bad dexs' and good and bad cexs'.  It's just what people are looking for.  The problem with centralized exchanges really is that people tend to use them as theor personal wallets which is where hacks impacts the ecosystem.  If people use exchanges like they should, meaning on board crypto trade then offload into a wallet where only you control the keys than centralized exchanges wouldn't be all that bad.

In other words, centralized exchanges are easy to use and convenient even for new users whereas decentralized are hard and you need some knowledge on how to trade there. back in the past, lots of people didn't know how to use it and they just simply asked others to trade their bounty rewards from those exchanges because if you didn't learn and watch on Youtube, you would just confuse yourself every time you want to trade on dexes but the good thing is, when you finally have a successful trade like in Forkdelta back then, the rest will be easy for you.
844  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigeria socialite went all in on this sport bet on: October 23, 2023, 11:41:49 PM
More likely this is just to show off and he wanted to be recognized as one of the big bettors on their country and surely he will influence others because they will gonna think that it's okay to gamble because even the billionaires in their country are doing it. surely it will lead to other addictions and might gonna cause some troubles in their life because if they follow such a man who is a billionaire and they are just common folks who don't have much money, they might end up in debt because they might fall into addiction.
845  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it better to invest or trade Bitcoin? on: October 23, 2023, 11:17:17 PM
It's better to invest for the long term if you don't have comprehensive knowledge about trading because you might end up losing your capital if you mess up with the wrong moves. in order to be a successful trader you need to go through a lot of trial and error and you need a lot of money from that because it needs personal experience in order to catch up and learn the movement of the price and how trading works in the crypto market. therefore, you can just simply invest and hold for the long term and at the same time, read some basic knowledge regarding trade.
846  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gamble! Easy or Hard? Let's talk. on: October 23, 2023, 10:48:09 PM

Quitting gambling is easy to say but very difficult to do, it's the same as being addicted to alcohol or cigarettes and maybe drugs too but that doesn't mean it can't be treated. It's curable, you just need to be strong, think positive always. You will get through it just don't give up.

One of the best thing to do to completely forget those addictions are to do something that will make you forget it by going with others who helps you not to think about it until you don't have any cravings about your addictions. That's why people when they are completely addicted to alcohol drinks or any other things like drugs, choose to go to rehabilitation in order to cure themselves along with others who want to change their lives positively with the help of some expert advisers.
847  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What altcoins have dropped at least 10x in this bear market and will easily 10x on: October 23, 2023, 12:02:49 AM
You could invest in random altcoins & pray your chips are on the right area of the shitcoin roulette wheel or you could potentially hit lower ROI but a much more guaranteed profit by buying bitcoin & ethereum. Bitcoin will probably 4 or 5 x from here minimum & ethereum will do 8 x from here or something similar. I prefer more guaranteed wins than pinning the tail on the donkey.

You could invest in those coins but it's not a good idea to put most of your money in it maybe a little bit is enough because if they really gonna make it until bull runs, they will multiply their price by a hundred folds I guess but when they're not, you only loss little amount of money which is not bad because you can get it back from bitcoins if you bought when the price was low just like the situation of it today in the crypto market, the price still good to buy bitcoins. But when it comes to altcoins, it's all up to you but don't get carried away because a lot of investors already regret when they invest lots of money in those random altcoins.
848  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 22, 2023, 11:38:30 PM
Bad news for the Grizzlies just as the season is about to kick off. Their center Steven Adams is having knee surgery and will be out for the entire year. This is especially bad in my opinion because the Grizzlies have issues and Steven Adam’s is a great person with a lot of influence over his teammates and I think a big part of the reason he’s on that team is to keep Ja Morant in check.

I saw this news earlier and I feel bad for the big guy because he could been a big help to them because they needed him as their center, thankfully this is just the start of the season and they could easily fill that position right now. Or their bench players will have a chance to shine because they will be given more minutes right now. He will still be there giving support for the team on the bench and advising them always.
849  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hal Finney was not Satosi Nakamoto on: October 22, 2023, 11:13:33 PM
None of you have any actually real clue as this is still a complete unknown, and in fact the likelihood that Satoshi was just one person is also absolutely impossible to prove. I’ve read every article ever written about this topic and there’s still no definitive way to make the call one way or another.  Who knows though, and I’m glad Satoshis identity is uknown. Way better that way.

It will be unknown for a long time but possible that someone or a group will appear in the future claiming that they actually are Satoshi and they have some proofs to prove their claims. Nevertheless, no matter who will appear next time, they cannot do anything in terms of the flow of Bitcoin transactions because it is purely decentralized. Therefore, their appearance is just added to the facts and trivia in the list of historical facts about Bitcoin.
850  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 22, 2023, 10:50:20 PM

It was a great game plan by Islam Makhachev, looking for body shots from the start and landed some and when Alexander Volkanovski was expecting another body shot he went high and that caught him flush and made the statement.

Islam knows he cannot easily take Volkanovski to the ground that's why he just works on him with those brutal kicks which surprise him and he doesn't know what to do. He was the best defender to fight Islam so far but the wide gap after Islam improved is just another level and he can keep up anymore that's why he just got another loss from him. Well, this is just a bad time to fight those guy because they have high aspirations to win and to beat their opponent.
851  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 20, 2023, 09:00:48 AM

There's one thing sure for Poole this season – he'll likely make it to the All-Star game, and that will probably make him happy. Finally, he isn't living in the shadow of a superstar. With Beal already out, he has the chance to shine. This is what he wants, and let's see if he can lead this team to the playoffs. If he succeeds, there's no doubt a max contract will be waiting for him.

A few players are only given this kind of chance and he really needs to take advantage of it and not become lazy because he was cast out by his team whom he helped to win the championships. Therefore, if he could make it to the playoffs with his current teammates, then they really need to take him for that because they are no longer capable of doing that since Beal isn't around anymore. He needs to make it his team and use every opportunity to make them realize that they throw the wrong player out.
852  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Give Bitcoin investment time on: October 20, 2023, 08:34:16 AM
Unlike before, this is not the case anymore because most investors nowadays know exactly why they hold bitcoins and they are carefully storing it well while waiting for another bull run which is a high chance to occur in the bitcoin halving season. I remember back then when someone used his grandmother's retirement funds to buy bitcoins and when the price crashed, he blamed all the users here due to the topics he read about bitcoin price speculations. I wonder how he is doing right now, if only he could wait for some years, he could have been happy rather than putting the blame on other people.
853  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 20, 2023, 08:06:21 AM

I have followed Khabib and Islam social media accounts and it looked they are not way near right now. I am sure that Islam will be with AKA gym guys only in his corner, with the one who helped him to train. Of course Khabib gave him a lot of support during calls, but I dont think he would be around. Because he trust Islam and in 100% sure in him. When Islams opponent was changed, Khabib and Islams team did not care much. Khabib simply told - "Islam is a champ, he must be ready for everyone. If King Kong fits in 170lb, bring him in" Cheesy

I wasn't aware of the fight being replaced with another opponent and I thought earlier when I watched the press conference, I thought I was watching an old one but when I look at their back, it says "2". I asked myself what had happened. But I realized this could have been planned all along and Volkanovski already trained for this and Islam should not be giving him any chance to have a free strike because that's the same reason why he almost ended up losing in their first fight.
854  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin's Price Surges and Drops Unexpectedly on: October 20, 2023, 07:40:51 AM
Fake news basically. Somehow a possible market manipulation. A reputable crypto article maker made a article about a anticipated news that the community are expecting, this resulted to massive price increase since people are expecting it. The hard resistance price point where easily broke by the surge, this is why I think that if the bitcoin etfs where really approved, we can expect a massive price increase.

That's why you only get your crypto news from some legit sources because other sites are compromised and they are not telling the truth simply because they have some other agenda concerning what they are publicly published. therefore, when it comes to investment, make sure you already have your personal research and these kinds of news just mean nothing to you because they don't really add anything since they also came from speculations which most likely are not true.
855  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sweat coin. Is this real? on: October 19, 2023, 09:33:21 AM
@OP, Honestly I don't like to airdrop. Because I believe most people are cheated through airdrops. However, not all airdrops are the same and cheat. But one thing you must believe is that most of the airdrops cannot be sold even if you pay them. Because they are not listed anywhere. About airdrop I would suggest you to create a new wallet account if you want to airdrop so that your funds can be safe.

Also, you need to create another email for it because you don't want to use your personal email not every airdrop out there is safe to join because others are only interested in getting your contacts to send you some offers that are not true or they will just sell your emails to others that will gonna use it for their scams and sent you some baits in order to lure you to get your money from you. Anyway, when Airdrops are legit, as soon as you receive them, you can check where it is listed and see the transaction histories because sometimes when the coins are sold multiple times, they are truly legit and you can also sell them there.
856  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: October 19, 2023, 09:03:57 AM

Why it seems that we are almost have the same feeling and looks about how Boring Haney being a gambler so I believe that he will not have that kind of popularity once become the Undisputed .
and also having a Mayweather defense style? this proves only that boredom in each of His fight.
Prograis on the other Hand is a tough and enjoyable fighter to watch , have been following him for some time and yes voting for him to win this one.

I think the only way for him to make his name shine is to beat every opponent by knockout no matter how strong they are and how much knockout power they have, as long as he smoothly beats them. But if he continues to have that running style and wins by points every time he gets in the ring, he won't be getting any addition to his current fame because we all know that someone like Gervonta Davis is the one who sells more in this kind of sport.
857  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was ripped off on: October 19, 2023, 08:28:19 AM
Whenever you read stories like this I feel it is important to remember that it wasn’t some failure of a protocol or software bug that lead to this rip off occurring. It was just a standard run of the mill scammer that happened to find a victim willing to send funds online in a non-reversible fashion. Let his mistake be your education.

Things like this are common because most of their victims listen to their nonsense and take their bait about their good-to-be-true offers. Well, the only good thing about this story as you said is to learn from them because they really exist in this world and they are willing to use every trick in the book just to fool their victims. Thankfully, as he said, it's just a small amount, and looks like he can afford to lose it.
858  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 19, 2023, 08:01:14 AM
James Harden is absent from training camp today and hasn’t been with the team since Sunday. It looks like he gave it a try but is now back to being on hiatus while trying to force his team’s hand and get him a trade to the Los Angeles Clippers. It seems like this has to happen before the season starts, so I’m expecting to hear something soon.

He is more likely serious about getting out from that team and he is legally doing everything he can to piss them off. I don't know where this drama will end, also the 76ers are not convinced to trade him and they are keeping him till now no matter how childish he acts these days. what could have been the reason why he made this kind of drama every time he wanted to get away from his responsibility?
859  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why meme coins are trending? on: October 19, 2023, 07:42:20 AM
I'm afraid that they don't really last long because they can't afford to hype their coins forever without updating and constantly developing their platforms in order to catch up with the new trends concerning their competitors' offers to their investors. Also, they don't have any partnerships that could make their platforms last longer like DogeCoin. In other words, when you invest in such kinds of projects you better know they are not recommended for the long term and you need to know when to pull them when the price starts slowly decreasing in the crypto market.
860  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin gift to wife. on: October 18, 2023, 11:52:43 PM
In my opinion, your wife should be aware of what you do for a career. And if you make Bitcoin-related content or job, chances are your wife is aware of it. However, not all wives are interested in Bitcoin; some only want a little notion that they might abandon later.

I hope I have a wife who is not interested in what I do but that's not the case, she knows everything about me and can freely open my phone also has her own crypto wallet. in other words, she is ready and of course, your wife is your best friend I already told her about the basics and necessary things she needs to know on how to protect her crypto and how to get my crypto whenever she needs it.
