I considered putting a warning on trust pages for users who have enabled limited retention, since it theoretically might make legal action against them more difficult in case they scam you, but my current thinking is that this is kind of pointless because someone could just not enable the setting and use Tor for the same effect. And it'd be both privacy-invasive and futile whack-a-mole to try to indicate when people are using proxies. On the other hand, scammers are often pretty stupid, so I could be convinced to add the warning.
Yes, there is no benefit in putting an warning for those who unable this feature as many people here already use TOR to hide the current IP status. But still an inbuilt feature to hide the IP makes it easy and convenient for sure. Happy to see upgrades in the current forum software BTW.
I just enabled it and updated which means no (IP) log left for me?
No, not all the logs are deleted. This will apply only to logs created after you change the setting

There are potentially around 34.542 profiles with that personal message. At least that is the number with the same website (MMM Global):
OMG , the number is really shocking. This does not look like a manual job, some people were trying to spam Bitcointalk around 2015, with some unlimited account creation script with random Usernames . I don't think someone would manually make that number of accounts to promote a Ponzi. As we already know they are promoting proven Ponzi, I think admin should disable the signatures and personal text of all the accounts in the above list. As he has done with the YoBit campaign, but at a larger extent. BTW, Good Catch!

One more user wearing same signature, account created around the same time span in 2015 but still actively posting. Username: stevemichaelThis looks like an hacked one as his post history shows no posts before 2018.

He’s left his password in the OP. I guess anybody is free to change it so he can’t access the account.
He has already locked the account so, he can't use it now for posting until he recovers it from adminstration.
I personally feel bad loosing as person with bunch of knowledge about the forum workings and forum rules. Don't forget most of the people on the forum just don't know any of it. One would find many people who want to show-off or get attention, but it does not mean they are bad hearted and should be thrown out of any community. Not just on Bitcointalk but also in the real world. I think you should come back mdayonliner. It's like loosing something for sure.

This is just hilarious They say this to those who think they are scam ! They literally say, they will reveal a secret after some people invest in them at the crowdsale. I don't know who in the world would be so stupid to invest with them. It is more than funny, to see such an scam attempts.
One day, this man woke up and realized that he wanted to become rich. BUT does not want to do anything. At least honestly. I think he woke up and thought that if we scam publicly and in more transparent way, no one would report it. He should be much dump to think so.

I don't think a red tag suits here, as the users which were tagged were participating in different bounty campaigns and not spamming a single one with alts. Basically, having alts is allowed as per the forum rules.
I think it is more like an moderation issue as one of the connected alt is already banned and others also should be banned under ban evasion. Red tagging does not look like a wiser option here, reporting to mod is.

I've seen that there's issue regarding plagiarized whitepaper. I think it is common nowadays to encounter similar content of whitepapers. Most of them are copy and paste doc anyway.
Do you really think it's a common practice to copy Marketing Strategy?

I guess @coinlocket$ found the private key to one of his address from the thousands of leaked private keys on the web. Basically, it is not always through a brute force attack as he already side he would rather attack a key with some funds not an empty address. But he could have found it on web itself, an excellent example of an website were you can find 1889807 leaked private keys. https://allprivatekeys.com/check-bitcoin-address-in-leaked-bitcoin-private-keys-database.phpJust a guess to how could he find the private keys!

I thought they were strictly against accepting negative trust participants for default trust. But there are many participants as we can see in the above list. Don't know if they would be paid or not ?

Holy fucking shit. I don't ever want to do that again. What an absolute nightmare, I tell you.
This is really crazy, you did a great try also as I see most of the post were atleast upto the mark to be paid from a campaign perspective. I am getting what you feel after this big mind trigger by posting this ammout of posts in an hour. I am guessing it feels the same to the spammers who are operating multiple accounts to post daily or shitpost daily.
Yeah, 100 posts was way too ambitious. But this data will be great for analysis!
Yaa, 100 was pretty much an higher goal, but one post per minute is not easy task too. Your efforts would surely help in shitposting analysis. Good Job and Nice Try !

I never signature verified the account, so I don't know how I can prove otherwise.
You have posted this BTC address before resetting the password. You could proof the ownership by signing a message from one of these. 3GA6Y7oU4g23Uo8GUbr2bWhz7kSJ3bMcrX
OR Address: 3KtrrgkVUTFy48qQgap7t8JdBmjA8sg3WB
I am happy to verify my mailing address with anybody that has previously conducted business with me.
Recent password reset already confirms that you own the email. But that does not proof the real ownership as email could be hacked too.

OP, please post some proof that you sold him the account and I'll tag it.
I don't think he can sign a message, as I suspect he is personally selling an hacked account and the new buyer hacked it again!
