Actually, if you prefer to use an escrow with a good reputation for holding escrow payments for ICOs, you can check out Coinpayments. They are also in my signature, so yes, I am promoting them, but I only promote services I like and support. They have handled several escrow payments for ICOs already. Most recently I believe was for Triforce Tokens. So if you see an ICO with them handling escrow, you know your funds are that much safer.

Okay, OP, first you need to learn to use formatting to make it easy on the yes. It is already a tough task to sift through the garbage, and if you have valid points, they deserve being put out in a nice format for people like me to avoid headaches.
But on the point, yes, BitShares has its share of problems, and that is what you get with a sort of centralised foundation running things. Conflict of interest is so painfully obvious, and we saw that with ETH. At least with Bitcoin, people voluntarily left. The voting power is somewhat a stop gap, but can only work if people care enough. And we know the majority do not!

I have not done anything with mine. I am SO glad I did not sell my huge bags of alts just to get BTC for the free coins. I would never have got them transferred in time to exchanges, by the time I did, I would have sold for perhaps 4% of BTC price at best? On the other hands, my alts have recovered more than that value, and I did not have to face the hassle.
I still have about 100,000 BTG waiting to be moved. That is something like 3xxx satoshi now,,,

I remember commenting on a post some time ago about Electroneum's association with Healthy Living Products. If anyone is familiar with MLM companies like Amway, then be aware that there are so many similarities, especially when it comes to referral programs. This does not of course equate with a scam, since Amway and their ilk are legitimate companies with impressive strategies that keep them alive.
But if you need a reminder of what MLM does to crypto, look up OneCoin.

No, I don't think so. The nearest analogy for me is products for site creation without coding. Can you create your own site without coding? Yes. Will it be good and multifunctional? Hell no. Same with this ICOs.
Exactly! Yes, everyone can create a site now with free instant web builders, blogs with one-click Wordpress installs, even shops and forums, with all one-click. If that is the type of project and ICO you want, then no one is stopping you. See how our forum is littered with instant ERC20 tokens. An airdrop every hour, an ICO every day. But you have a good idea? You need very good developers and coding experts. Just compare Stratis and Waves to those insta ICO tokens. See the difference even in how they look.

I love projects which fly under radar. I have been invited into the pre ico and bought very much of this coin.
As it has been listed I was heavily underwater and bought more and more the more it was dumping. Was a good decision. This is one of the real long term hodls in my opinion. Have in mind that we are still only on EdterhDelta. A new exchange will it fly .
If that were the basis for me to join an ICO, to buy up all the coins at crazy high bonuses just because they were flying under the radar, I would end up with a hundred alt bags. If two of them reach the heights of twice their ICO price, I would be lucky to break even. I also bought more into the dumping in October of some alts, and still I am in heavy losses. So by circumstance, I have become a long-term bagholder. Things are just so unpredictable, you cannot buy based on these market numbers.

Not a current buyer here, but a long time holder, and increased my substantial (to me) holdings about 2 months ago and a month ago, when I thought the alt dip was opportune. I definitely wish I had more Bitcoins to buy Waves though, with their bargain prices just teasing me so! I think that once Waves NG is rolled out to Main Net plus when the new DEX is rolled out, which I hope will be in the next month or so, then Waves will get the attention and indeed price rise it deserves!
Absolutely! I am just so surprised that all this coin's/project's worth has been overlooked for other hyped out coins. It really, really, deserves a lot more than this. Especially when stupid Bitcoin forks comes out and just hop above 5% Bitcoin price for nothing more than fancy make-ups! Just you wait for our belived Waves!

Please learn to use Google search a little bit better or look around this forums. There are plenty of threads created with the same topic. Besides, do not trust what people tell you here! But, to summarize and help you on your way: 1. Make sure you control your own Bitcoins. 2. Head over to the official Bitcoin Gold website at https://btcgpu.org3. Read their how-to guide 4. Wallets that support BTG are all on the front page.

Very cryptic, but it can mean anything when you are translating from a local language, as we have come to realise with all these Chinese-origin news. If in fact it were true, though, then you should be able to withdraw your CNY, since they would be keeping your money. They surely will not do that if indeed the authorities are making them close down. You should still get in touch with them about what to do with your yuan. Maybe request an equivalent in Bitcoin or some other crypto?

All right, so since this post was created, all three things in the roadmap have activated, with the final one being Zerocoin protocol. The end result? A price drop of more than 10%, fiat value. I am too lazy to calculate the BTC value drop, but I am certain it is not much better than any other alt that withered under Bitcoin's rise. Just goes to show, you cannot always just buy the news. And if this looks like an entry point, check Bitcoin and see that it recovered >10% after Bitcoin Gold!

It was short-lived but it was good while it lasted. I will look into joining the signature campaign. Thank you Atriz!

Both neo and waves are both blockchain network. How come neo become more successful in terms of worth than waves without good wallet or much development like waves.
I think, if you want to invest you should invest in both NEO and WAVES as both of these projects can show really good amount of growth in the future. WAVES is regarded as the ethereum killer by many and believe that it will replace ethereum in future and will host most of the ICOs in future. The idea of decentralized exchange is also very unique and it makes waves a very promising project to invest your money in. NEO on the other hand is also a very good project to invest your money. Many regard it as the Chinese ethereum. It is without any doubt one of the most promising projects to invest your money in. It can really show good amount of growth in future. I do not know about being an Eth killer, but Waves is a bit low compared to Neo because it did not have the same hype, to my knowledge. I hear everytime they say that Neo is the Chinese Ethereum, Red Pulse ICO also created such a strong hype (and then flopped for the time being). I support WAVES, I will not say others are bad or worse,,, but WAVES is quiet and moving along. To me, that is a strong and stable coin. And of all the DEX out there, they have the nicest GUI!

My strategy for the next fork, that is supposed to take place around 20th nov. If there are exchanges that support it and credit B2X for BTC in 1:1 ratio, then i will sell all my alts to buy just and only BItcoin. (nowdays i dont have a cent in BTC). This B2X seems by far very more worth than the BTG shit.. JUst right after the fork, dumping of BTC to buy the bleeding alts that will be around cryptomarket. I will keep the B2X at least for some days (as there is no replay protection, so better safe than sorry) and then decide if keep or dump also. NOw the question is.. it is smart to sell my damaged altcoins still with lost (since i bought during the summer ATH) and start accumulating BTC? when should i do it? will the altcoins have another rise like yesterday? will BTC still drop more ? take in mind that last time, people began accumulating BTC as long as 3 weeks before the hardfork... so no much time left for a decision. what do you think?
It is a sound strategy in my opinion, because Segwit2x will be bigger than BCG, even if none of the three forks this year will overcome Bitcoin. I have lost a lot of BTC due to alts dipping, and I stayed away from BCG. But just before Segwit2x fork, I will do the same, sell half my alts to BTC, get the free coins, sell back for more BTC, and then rebuy my alts. I think I can at least recover 5% of losses this way. I am holding all losses until then.

Wow,,, thank you for bringing this up. It looks like you posted this 11 days ago but I only saw that now. Now that I think about it, there is nothing to stop anyone from using our bct profiles to sign up for nonsense airdrops. I hope bounty managers pay attention and developers fix the way they distribute airdrops.
Now that I recall, the ones I joined required people to post or send PMs to the OP. So you can't cheat that way and earn.

Even though I am not a fan of Ethereum at all, we should not avoid ETH just because a lot of scams happen on it. That is like avoiding Bitcoin or fiat because drug dealers and child pornography use them as payment. The reason so many scams happen on ETH is just that it is so easy to create an ERC20 token. You have people now just selling services, to create a token, whitepaper, logo, signatures and all that in a week.

People really need to stop just writing what they are thinking and show how little we know. Yes, it has been more than 24 hours traded on Yobit, but it was more like a futures trading. If anything, yobit seems to have made a bit of history by being one of the earliest Bitcoin Cash exchanges. And not Bitcoin Gold. They are even listen on the official BCG website as a partner exchange, so no need to shout scam.
I saw it went as high as 0.2 even on yobit but now is a quarter of that. Almost same price as BCC now.

All very good to hear, but WAVES need to just continue focus on building good product that gets even better with time. A few people are only using the Waves platform and they already know how good it is and how better it will become. Do not worry about the price being bullish or bearish for now. Just keep it at current pace. I have my Waves in red now but I am never worried. 2018 and 2019, I am ready.

Wings seems pretty interesting and I think now is a very good time to Invest.
Wings is jut a new coin launched on January,2017. Athough Devs said that it provides a good platform Wings DAO. But I have not heard any good news about it. I do not think that it price will raise up. ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) I bought about 3% of my alt portfolio in WINGS Dao from Bittrex. To be honest, I wish I put more in, since it was NOT the worst performer among all my others. Then again, it was not immune to the alt blasting that has happened since Bitcoin broke past $4000. I would keep a big eye on this in 2018, although it should recover in the coming months for that to happen. I am expecting some announcement soon since it has been so quiet so far.

No one can predict such a thing. And if we look at Bitcoin this year, yes it has grown 50% in a month but it has also crashed 50% in even the same period of one month. For that reason, hold your emotions and enjoy this wonderful year for crypto, but do not ever think it has become so high it cannot go down. I learnt this from my non-Bitcoin coins this October. between 40% to 80% losses since March!
