8921  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you share your secrets and research findings??? on: September 08, 2017, 08:42:12 AM
That is why we have this discussion, to share and to learn what we have found in every topic to every member. We select topics to share what is our idea about these cryptocurrency world so meaning we are sharing our secrets and our research findings.

People make the mistake, thinking if you keep the secret, you make profit longer or if you share the secret, you lose your profit. Firstly, it is not really a secret if you learn something. Others learned it first. Secondly, if you share, you get more people interested to buy and trade. Guess what, volume increases. Usage increases. You can only benefit.
8922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in Isle of Man on: September 08, 2017, 06:26:23 AM
Why don't you share this link or information with us? I would also like to know more about it if this is true. The small island or island countries of the world are always looking for creative ways to make their economy or GDP more diverse. The old easy thing was gambling and tax free systems. Maybe now crypto can be the new things!
8923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 07, 2017, 10:29:30 AM
Newbie to Monero here. I have a small amount, but with recent price climbing I have a nice $50, which for me is a great start with no regrets to buy in later. Now I found a coin I like and I can have faith in. My burning question is this,,, why or how on earth did Dash become so much, that it is more than even Litecoin and Monero combined? And why has the recent bad news not affected Dash?

Also, why do Dash and Monero people hate each other?
8924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈🏈NFL Survivor Pool - PICKS DISCUSSION 🏈🏈🏈 on: September 07, 2017, 05:55:35 AM
Im also in it.
Its very interesting competition that makes you also think in long term because you cant pick the same team twice.
I make a lot of researches before I pick a team for the following week.

This was the confusing thing for me but I think I understand the concept now. If you pick a good team that you know must win, then you can move on to following round and so on but if you reach the final and that team is there then you won't win because you cannot pick it again. So, the strategy is clear to me. You have to risk the beginning rounds to make it into the middle. If you survive to the end you can pick the winner.
8925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie to Altcoins on: September 07, 2017, 05:37:59 AM
Hi there, I'm new to altcoins. Anyone has some usefull tips? Or a strategy that worked for you? Smiley

I’ve been a junior member last week, but of course before going to a junior member I was once a Newbie. I really don’t know what are those alternative cryptocurrency, when I was promoted to be a junior member and it’s been really hard for me to answer the topics in Altcoin Discussion. Introducing Altcoin to a Newbie is a good foundation, when I was a newbie no one introduces me about the environment of Altcoin, I only know is Bitcoin. To all Newbie’s there who aren’t know about Altcoin and no one else introduces it to you, searching and reading more articles about it will help you a lot.

I think we all remember how long it must have seemed to turn from Newbie to Junior but that slow progression was good because it forced us to read more rather than just post all the time. Reading is the best and natural way for us to learn. As people ask, and we ask, we all learn from the answers. And then we forgot about ranks and time just happened.
8926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is the best crypto safe haven? on: September 06, 2017, 07:31:45 PM
And that makes them legit?  the federal reserve is the biggest scam of all. The terrible monetary policies set by the fed are what ultimately led to the creation of the solution that is Bitcoin.  What the heck is even the point of all this if you want a centralized bank partnered asset?

they're probably the most "legit" token, as they're jumping through the necessary hoops to comply with everyone. mass adoption is contingent on this and you're playing yourself if you think differently (you're also playing yourself if you think bitcoin is decentralized).

the average citizen will never believe in a non-backed asset (like from a central government). taking your crypto-anarchist ethics out of the equation, most people can't comprehend nor will they take the time to understand crypto, as most people want the easiest form of everything. that's unfortunately a piece of paper with perceived value. there will always be gatekeepers like a central gov. ripple aren't idiots.

That is a double-edged blade. Leads towards centralisation, which is bad for many people. But more control and more willingness to be regulated is more secure for everyone, especially the users. It is like being ETH, but being more compliant to the powers that be. But you are right, Bitcoin is not as decentralised as sometimes we like to imagine.
8927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈🏈NFL Survivor Pool - PICKS DISCUSSION 🏈🏈🏈 on: September 06, 2017, 03:21:20 PM
First time I have seen these types of promotions. The rules seem a bit confusing to me. Is this like a knockout tournament? I thought football was played over one season against each other or do they make it differently for this time? If I join the pools later on, will it still be available or is the deadline tomorrow?
8928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: And We Are Back! on: September 06, 2017, 06:34:36 AM
Wow. I really am so surprised by this incredible recovery. I closed my computer yesterday feeling relieved I did not buy a lot of prospects last week when everything was so high and got tempted to get into the market a little bit. Today I check the prices and see everything in green. This is Bitcoin showing off to the world it cannot be taken down. Next disaster, please!
8929  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SysCoin - First day trade, pray for me on: September 06, 2017, 05:33:45 AM
So far, so good. It's currently at 6300 sats on Bittrex. I still have not bought in, but I am watching the price like a hawk. Anything I do from this point on will just maximize my profits. I do believe in Syscoin which is why I'll be buying back in.
Why you don't hold it for long term instead of trading it for small pennies? If you are believe with Syscoin, you don't need to worry about it.
Btw good result there, congrats mate

Yes, I was thinking the exact same thing. You made double your money on 5000 syscoins. Which was I guess around 0.16 BTC. It's very nice $600 dollars profit, and if that is your start, then congratulations. But if you really believed in syscoin should not you have bought to hold? Or, sold enough to recover capital and hold the rest worry free forever.
8930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burger King in cryptocurrency on: September 06, 2017, 05:13:46 AM
Oh man! this whoppercoin is for keeps. I have 5 whoppercoins in my wallet bought by my waves. Honestly, I do not care about its potential but all I care about is the free burgers.  Roll Eyes
Lol I may get some whoppercoin just for the lolz, my friends know that I’m into bitcoin wait until I tell them that I have a coin specialized to order burgers in Russia, they are going to have a big laugh with it, and then I am thinking about telling them how much I have won on the last months so I make them cry for not investing in bitcoin.

Yes, please, let us all just have a bit of fun. We are allowed to, right? So WAVES created all these whoppercoins,,, and if you buy them to buy a burger in Russia, will it be cheaper than buying it OTC at whopper for fiat? Does anyone know? I smell a business proposal here if it is somehow cheaper hehe. Maybe whales can dump Whoppercoin and buy back cheap if they want cheap meals.
8931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it too late to buy NEO? on: September 05, 2017, 10:22:33 AM
Look back to Januari when bitcoin crashed from 1200$ to 700$ because of china. Look at it now. Neo in long term will be worth billions. Fill ur bags down the line. Second chance.
Your chance is here. Do you continue to invest in it?

yes we do

Indeed. Look at all the times China's moves have hit Bitcoin, and then look at what happened months later. China has to change its mind at some point. This move is good for everyone. It helps slow down the crazy moves up. It gives more time for people to look around and say, hey wait a minute, maybe we are going to fast. Every bad news has the field day, but Bitcoin gets stronger after getting up. And alts just follow along.
8932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell NEO For Qtum Based in Singapore on: September 05, 2017, 07:53:50 AM
Response from NEO team-mate... how official does the report get?

https://i.redd.it/g6qsc003xvjz.jpg

Does he know much more than he tells? Looking at his casual smiley and response I suspect optimism... maybe NEO becomes certified China platform for all ICOs?

cmon stop this drama its been month we are talking about neo breakout and neo news bla bla bla
if they knew about the ban they would warn investors so this panic sell wont happen
ofc he is happy he didnt lose anything.

Sometimes, I find it disheartening that ICO or rather project admins take the worries and concerns of their investors and supporters so lightly. And for some project that claims to have many ties, this news should have reached them first, and then informed to people. But yes, what a casual response. You think this is optimism? Some might see it as arrogance leading to downfall.
8933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How is your portfolio looking after this hit? on: September 04, 2017, 08:26:35 PM
Disclosure.  I am a 2 month newbie in cryptoworld.

In the short time, my investment tripled at one point (yep 200% gains)...now it is barely above where I started.  I know it will bounce back strong but still shocking to see all your gains (and hard work) "gone" in a few days.

How is yours???

I am more of a holder. I have a couple of coins waiting to be back to black. The rise didn't do it so now back in very red. The other few I am waiting for at least 50% so did not manage to sell anything. I only properly bought some alts also two months back. And one month back. Was too scared when I first started although with this "shock" I might take another coin.
8934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO 13 SEP] AMBROSUS: Trusted Quality of Food & Medicine [BOUNTY] on: September 04, 2017, 06:29:54 PM
Hello. Just stumbled upon this announcement page. I see that you have listed UN in your recognition or support partners. May I ask for some documentation or links to read about this partnership? Are you working with World Food Organization with the baby food products classifications? I am interested especially in that aspect. Thanks.
8935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Sell NEO For Qtum Based in Singapore on: September 04, 2017, 06:15:32 PM
It's worth swapping NEO for anything at the moment. Crazy price drop today.
But I think the Chinese ICO stuff is a bit of a scare story. A bit of regulation on ICOs can only be beneficial in the long run.

Kinda glad I did not get in earlier, even though it will probably recover once the dust from China settles. Scary story indeed, but there is too much at stake to let it fail now. 2018 is the latest we'll see a return to last week's prices so in fact now is a good time to buy. But in small amounts, just in case! QTUM ready to take the place of NEO?
8936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Want to buy worthless altcoins on: September 04, 2017, 04:31:05 PM
Interesting! I have a few ERC20 tokens you might like.

BETOPS tokens. I have 5. Supposedly these were worth $10 each as I put in $50 to get them.
I have also 75 ATS tokens, which are supposed to be $10 value at ICO (still ongoing actually) but I can let you have them for $5.

Interested in more just PM me. Spring cleaning!
8937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: September 04, 2017, 03:23:16 PM
Yeah, I'm not a big fan of ICO's. For every one good ICO, there are easily 20+ that are just there to ultimately steal money. It's just what's historically happened, and I'm not a big fan of anyone that wants my money.

More importantly are the questions - will the money that was in the ICO business-startup funding market find its way to a new one now? Or will the combination of the afflicted be looking to diversify outside of crypto?

Or will this be like cutting the head off a hydra, ultimately proving the legislation to be ineffective?

Regardless, I would expect that capital outflow from china will continue in some way.

I also get less and less interested with ICOs now. The way I see it, even if a project looks interesting, best to buy after they start listing the coin. It always gives good value when you buy up all the coins from the bounty and bonus dumpers. Will the money find a way? For sure. Will crypto suffer? I feel yes, but always the answer is,,, not for long.
8938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How many cryptocurrencies should exist? on: September 04, 2017, 02:39:40 PM
I thought they were more than 1,000 by now. Does anyone know a place to track every single alt? Anyway, crypto is free and has no rules. We don't like a lot of things about it. But hey, other markets have plenty of "shit stocks" and "shit news" every day, a lot more than crypto. So let's not act like we are elite.

By the way, top 50 does not mean success and below it does not mean failure.
8939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best coins for Staking ?? on: September 04, 2017, 07:44:18 AM
I used to stake Bitbeans like you, but my mistake was to sell them off a few months ago when I had problems syncing from the wallet. I later realised that it was a problem with all my wallets especially qt. By that time I had no more mood to buy back the beans which had already risen up in price. My mini adventure did not last long. But it was fun for a while. I also had insane coins but after the swap I lost some and gave up also.
8940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Rare breed kittens for ETH/BTC Worldwide delivery on: September 04, 2017, 06:41:21 AM
Wow. You can make a lot of money by being the first freeder to trade lives with Bitcoins. Do you have licences for breeding your animals and can you show us proof that they are bred with humanity and not cruelty? Sorry to ask. I just saw myself what happens to purebreed animals. They force them to just breed and breed and because of genetic problems a lot of the babies are deformed and die. Even the ones used to breed become sick from just constant pregnancy and birth.
