What happens to Bitcoin happens. It'll always be a currency - something physical and digital. Even if it dies out, something will happen to it again. You can't erase or delete a Bitcoin. What makes you think it can be killed?

Have you ever tried this? http://fakenumber.org/When I did my phone verification, they didn't really check to see if it was legit or not.

I could never get up to Updown.bt's posting limits, even the old ones. They are now at 200/week. Prior to that, it was 3000/month. Seems pretty tough to me to post that often and truly keep it constructive.
It depends highly on how much time you have, and which boards interest you. Well, that's what I think.

NOBODY IS TRYING TO SCAM QUICK TO CALL SCAMMER BUT IM WILLING TO SUMBIT TO ANY IDENTITY INFORMATION INCLUDING BITPREMIER.COM AND BTCJAM WHICH IS AUTHORIZING. im willing to offer a title loan for 3.5 btc on a 94 firebird with 98k original miles. its whatever yall quick to call scammer but when someones willing to identify themselves and willing to use escrow. i need to fix the vette to sell it period unless someone buys it and fixes it itself. i dont own anything around the pricerange that i can use as collateral.
You can use the car you have as collateral. But you won't, because you'll scam, and be unable to acquire it back.

Please PM me if you can create a google account for me or if you have an old one you're not using.
If you don't mind me asking, why would you need someone else to create a Google account for you? Might be able to do it, though.

I cook toad in the hole regularly for myself and other stuff and yes, I have the pics to prove it and yes, this one was actually made by me Do those taste good? I hear they're eaten in Britain often. I can't really find anybody in the 'States that make it. Are they easy to make, by chance?

I can't see the interest of people to expose their life to the world.
And even if they limit access to "friends", that usually is about 100 or 200 persons.
Besides, Google gets all your information to add to the tracking they usually try to do on all of us.
I agree. With Android, Nexus, and Glass, Plus is just another way to track you. To see who your friends and family members are, and your interest to be exact. And oh, were you live.

if the pm is legit, you should call authorities because of attemted blackmail.
I don't think they'll intervene that much. First, because it's involving Bitcoins. But they might keep a eye on him, so nothing happens.

Since the title is 'ended' you can always close the thread yourself, well, I think you can still do that.

10 mil is the new millionaire. Sad but true.
How is that sad? A millionaire is a individual or person whose net worth is over a million units in a chosen currency.

That's strange, I never saw this post before. It brings back nostalgia to go back to 2009, a few years before I got into Bitcoin. Too bad the old Bitcoin forum isn't available anymore. We should probably make a archive.

First loan, and now a escrow service? Somebody wants to get cash fast. A escrow service comes with trust. Some escrow services have a lower rate than you. And you got negative rep'd hard.

Really? Was going to join that, but guess I'll have to go to Up/Down first. I forgot about their 30 limit.

MY drivers license social security card home phone number and a copy of the title for the corvette? i mean i don't have much to offer as far as collateral other than myseld being a man of my word and repaying. i actually am waiting on auth from btcjam.com as well as bitpremier.com to list the corvette. im not going to run off with anyones coin if im telling you where i live and providing my government information. like really dude? Loyalty before Dishonor
That's not collateral. Your car is collateral, not your mystical being of a 'word'.

Do you have a minimum limit for Moneygrams, and if so, how much?

Localbitcoins.com.
I think it's good they ask for identification. It's like a three factor security system for you. And I doubt they'll allow you to exchange BTC/USD (If that's what you're talking about) without your name, which verifies your credit card number, or your bank account. Or things like moneypak.
There's also exchangers on the forum. Trusted ones, that don't ask for ID, I think.

I think it depends on where you live. I think it'd have less of a startup in a rural area, but more so in a urban area.

Haven't people tried to sue them before? They were a pretty shady company to begin with, using customers products, releasing months late.

Mac and cheese, cereal and milk It's okay man. Everybody has that moment in their life when they make simplistic meals. Like one time, I was out of milk for cereal and ate coco puffs with water. It was terrible.

anyone holding over 10 bitcoin today will probably have 1 million USD (in today's purchasing power) in 10-20 years. most of the fiat pundits who mock bitcoin today will be eating their hat when the USD finally implodes. be glad you are lucky enough to be here in this moment in time when bitcoin is first invented, it will be quite a story to tell...
I suspect 10 BTC worth 1,000,000 USD (in 2014 purchasing power) will happen way sooner than 10-20 years. As for the USD imploding I doubt it, more like USD keeping 95% of today's value or more. As for an implosion, gold is the far more likely candidate in a brutal bear market. The fiat pundits will just sit by and watch a massive transfer of Austrian / Libertarian wealth from gold to Bitcoin. Really...10 BTC to make anyone a millionaire sooner then 10 years? Not doubting it will happen but how soon do you think? No one can make a solid estimate on how long it might take it might never get there. I find it hard to believe that 10 Bitcoin could make you a millionaire because a lot of people own that amount and it that would be thousands of people would become millionaires in the same few days. I think you'd be surprised how few people own more than ten. Most of the polls here show a big chunk, maybe the majority, have less than one. If values keep on going up then they're going to be spent or cashed out and it'll dilute even more. If the value keeps going up, people will also start to 'scavenge'. Already multiple scams going on. New wave of phishing and hacking will possibly start as well, as the value increases.
