881  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: think before investing on: August 10, 2023, 11:53:02 AM
How in hell did you not warned your friend about investing in bitcoin by selling property and then teaching him about it when he finally lost his money? You've known about it, there should've been some way that you could've intervened with your friend's decision. Your title is right though, definitely have a think before investing. I don't want to accuse you but this topic seem a bit fishy, like it's not entirely true or the facts aren't straight because it's not your story and you're just retelling it inaccurately.

OP's story is pretty brief so it's hard to tell if it's a true story or not. But you can't blame the OP for not giving any warning to his friend about the risks of bitcoin investing. How can OP give advice when his friend secretly sells property for investment and when he has lost everything he comes to OP? Because not only OP but anyone in this situation will stop your friend if they know they are intending to sell assets to invest in bitcoin. Especially those without any knowledge.
882  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: August 07, 2023, 08:05:48 PM
After the transfer of Saint-Maximin from Newcastle to Al-Ahli, Fabinho from Liverpool to Al-Ittihad and Sadio Mane from Bayern Munich to Al-Nassr, there isn't a big signing that occurred in Saudi Pro League.
There is Ibañez who play in Roma as a defender, is rumoured to move to Al-Ahli soon. There is also rumours about Franck Kessié from Barcelona and Mario Hermoso from Atletico Madrid who are linked to Al-Ahli too. I don't know about the other teams if they are wiling to recruit additional players or not.

It seems that big money has really changed the ambitions and big dreams of young players which basically playing in Europe, because previously they had ambitions to be able to play in the Champions League but it seems that this is no longer their target. Because of the current trend, it seems when they receive offers with big payouts they can also feel successful in their careers. Because after all, the fact is that Saint-Maximin is also just 26 years old and also basically Newcastle next season will play in the Champions League. But the interesting thing is, Saint-Maximin prefers to leave Newcastle and chooses to play in the Saudi Pro League for big money.

We just cannot expect every player to stay in top level competition with low income when they are being offered big salary in Saudi league. They are professional players. And money is going to have a big say in everything they do. I actually like the fact that the players are currently thinking about money.

Not all the players are Messi or Ronaldo who will be able to earn as much money as they want wherever they go. For a normal player, it is going to make more sense to go to a league that is going to be him in a lot instead of staying at the top of the competition. The Saudi league has realised that and also acting accordingly. In two years, my prediction is that the Saudi league is going to be twice as big as it is now. But that does also mean they will have to keep giving the players huge amount of money.
883  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: August 07, 2023, 07:34:08 PM
Barcelona is still trying to hire Bernardo Silva from Manchester City while they don't have a good financial situation and they send any good offer to this layer, which means that's normal to see their offer rejected just in a few hours because Macnshter City is a team with a good financial situation and they don't get attracted with offers like this one they got from Barcelona.
Xavi wants to hire Bernardo Silva and he asked the team to hire send an offer for this player but even after selling Dembele, still they can't send a good offer for Bernardo Silva and it seems Bernardo is going to stay with Guadiola for another season.
Barcelona are indeed very interested in recruiting Bernardo Silva from Manchester City, but I don't think they will be able to do it considering the financial situation and the desire of Manchester City who don't want to let Silva go in the near future. Pep Guardiola has stated that Silva is an important player in his plans for next season, so of course he really hopes to keep him as much as possible.

After all I believe that SIlva has an interest in playing for Barcelona, of course it is because he wants to have new challenges in his professional career as a player. Xavi knows his potential, but he can't do much because Barcelona don't have a lot of money to spend.

Barcelona will need a lot of money to get Bernardo Silva in the team. I do not think that is happening. First of all Manchester City is not even interested in selling Bernardo Silva. Even if they are selling him, they are going to ask for a huge amount of money. Which is definitely not going to be good value for money for Barcelona, especially right now. I think Barcelona is going for him and are even interested in him a little because he did indicate that he wants to move out from Manchester City. But just because the player wanted to move out and maybe Evan is interested in playing for Barcelona, does not mean that Barcelona will definitely be able to get him. In the end, it is all about money.

How do you see yesterday's game Manchester United vs Bilbao, Yeah Harry Maguire made a mistake again until the opposing team could score a goal due to his blunder from Harry Maguire.  Grin

There is news that Harry Maguire will soon go to West Ham with a 30M deal and this is still in contact, it seems that Erik Ten Hag is no longer satisfied with Harry Maguire with his behavior on the field which will continue to harm the team if there is no improvement from him.

Not only West Ham are interested but other Premier League teams are also looking at Harry Maguire, this will be very interesting!.  Cheesy

[1] Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1688593023368675332

Manchester United should have gone ahead in the match very early in the first half where Sancho missed a very easy shot. Manchester United should have gone ahead right there.  And another thing i have to talk about is why Harry Maguire is pressing when the central back position is open? Does he actually sometimes forget that he is a defender and there are consequences that he has to think about while pressing a player?  his defense is absolutely open and the opponent player is running through the defense without any problem and he is not even aware of that.

I am genuinely surprised that he is still playing for Manchester United. A to actually be great if he does end up leaving Manchester United soon.
885  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: August 07, 2023, 06:11:45 PM
PSG are just playing with fire by having two injury-prone players such as Dembele and Neymar in the squad. Dembele's release clause must be really attracting to them to go for the deal. But Dembele is no different than Neymar when it comes to having a serious part of a season as injured.

I won't be surprised if we see both of them being the same this season also. There was even a video that people were cheering Barcelona players when they were leaving the stadium in which they did it for Dembele when an ambulance left the stadium.  Cheesy

I hope they prove me wrong for at least one season but for now I'm confident about my thinking.

Both of them are definitely very injury prone, and it is not going to be good for PSG if any of them does pick up injury. The thing is i am not expecting too much from PSG right now. This is the time when everyone is leaving. So it is generally going to be hard for PSG to actually be able to perform well.  This is the transitional period through which PSG is going through. I hope they will be able to turn this situation into something positive for them.

But I definitely do agree that they are playing with fire by having two players who are very injury prone in the squad. I don’t know if they have back up ready for them if they do end up getting injured. And it is definitely going to be stupid if they don’t have back up. Especially when they know that these players might  be injured at any time.
886  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to $120k next year - by Robert Kiyosaki on: August 07, 2023, 08:22:31 AM
now the price of btc is still in the range of $29k and I see that lately it's rather difficult for btc to break to $32k so according to my predictions that for 2024 the price of btc to reach $120k I think it's very difficult, but as a btc investor I'm still optimistic if in the future btc price will be higher. I don't think anyone will know about the btc price in 2024 but I hope that the btc price in 2024 will be over $120k and hopefully in 2025
btc price is very high
As investors, of course we must always be optimistic but we also have to be realistic, life is sometimes unique, what we plan is sometimes often different from reality, and as investors who already know Bitcoin for at least 2 years, of course not too much problem whether next year the price can reach $ 120k Or not, as long as we are still patient hold, $ 120k will occur.
There's no doubt, Bitcoin will go above and beyond $120k in the future, but in next year? I doubt it! Even if the price of Bitcoin starts going up from this point, it will still be difficult for it to reach that price next year because it won't enter the bull run before the halving, and halving is approximately in April next year, and generally, the bull run occurs after some time of the halving event, at least that is how it has been in the past, we can't be sure though.

Anyway, considering that, once the halving event occurs in April next year, we might see the price reaching a new all-time high at the end of next year or maybe in 2025. But still, it's all speculations and predictions that we create ourselves based on what has happened in the past and what's happening right now, we can never be sure of the future, of course.

I'm also bullish on bitcoin hitting $120k or more, and if we rely on what history shows, ATH won't happen in 2024 but maybe 2025 or 2026. If I remember correctly, the previous bull seasons will actually take place 1 year after the halving and if things continue to repeat themselves, the ATH will be set in 2025.
From the chart below, we can easily see the bull season and bitcoin hit ATH in 2013, 2017 and 2021 respectively, and if history repeats, we will have a new ATH in 2025.

Man City recently communicated that they have no intention of selling Bernardo Silva to PSG and Barcelona as reported by Romano [1]. It was kinda obvious as after Mahrez and Gundogan's departure Bernardo Silva's playing chances will be very high. Man City are now looking forward to extend Silva's contract so it will be interesting to see what Silva feels about continuing at City. I predict a kinda short term contract as it was reported earlier that he showed an interest of moving to Spanish league so based on that I feel he is gonna sign up for a bit few years like 2-3 years.

I heard that even though Manchester City is very interested to keep Bernardo Silva in the squad, Bernardo Silva actually wanted to leave. I mean it was not like he demanded to live otherwise it is going to be a problem, it was certainly like a wish. So there is nothing to worry about for him, why? cause it is clear that Man.City is very concerned about him and already gives him huge importance.

I can see Man.city is also trying its best to make sure that he stays happy in the club. Actually i have so many doubts, I think whatever they do they can't keep him for more than 1/2 years, max 2 years he could stay. He might even move away from Manchester City before that. But whatever happens, if he does not go out as a free agent, Manchester City is going to get a good amount of money for him in my opinion.
888  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A advise to my friend about his decision on: August 06, 2023, 01:03:34 PM
You are newbie and want to teach your friend. Are you knowledgeable enough to teach your friend?

I doubt any newbiew can teach about Bitcoin and when you are learning, you must be more careful with your words in conversation as if you make mistakes in knowledge, security advice, you don't help your friend but do something harmful.

Just because he's a newbie on the forum doesn't mean he's a newbie in the market, not all bitcoin investors will have an account and be active on the forum, mate. But even if OP is new but as long as he has basic knowledge of bitcoin he can explain bitcoin to someone who has never heard of bitcoin. He was just trying to talk about the value of bitcoin with his friend, so it shouldn't be a problem and requires a lot of knowledge to do so.

If your friend inherites it from his father but wants to reject it, why should you engage in?

I am unsure how his dad can leave information about bitcoin private key, seed to your friend and how the lawyer engages in this case. It is risky to share private key in an inheritance document and leave it to a lawyer.

This story sounds fictious.

But I agree with you, this story sounds fictional and it's not clear at all. We can't be sure OP's story is purely fictional, but OP needs to provide more details to make it more real.
889  Economy / Economics / Re: Which is better, staking or investing? on: August 06, 2023, 12:49:23 PM
I think staking is better then investing. For staking we will get some token so if price were down then it will reduce loss. One the other hand for investment if price up then you will get profit but if price were down then there has no way to avoid loss. So i think and i believe staking is better then investing.
As long as we are staking on an exchange that is reliable enough, it is good enough to bet the altcoins that we hold which will indeed bring us a few percent profit in a certain period of time. But the main problem is that many of the altcoins are constantly dropping in price. So that between the decline and the profit from staking there are still more losses due to the decline. But at least staking can minimize losses. Instead of just holding it without risking it. Some time ago I had another opinion. but this time my opinion is this one. But for a new altcoin I prefer not to invest nor risk it. Staking and investing for me is only suitable for altcoins with strong fundamentals like BNB and ETH.

good point in terms of staking instead of holding in a usual way, if you believe and trust the exchange that you are using and you also believe with your chosen asset, staking would be better than following your statement, there's decline in a current value and if you are just holding your coin without staking the only benefits will be if the market start to pump, unlike when you are staking then you will be able to receive that staking rewards that will add up to your earnings in case that the market will be nice to you and favor your position.

The problem right now is that if you are just using your trust it will kill your just imagine the FTX people trust it that is why a lot of people lost their money, that is why it is better you wont put your assets in exchange unlike before that it is really okay, even my self hold couple assets before but when the FTX issue rise up ive withdraw it all just to be safe

Putting your trust in others is not the way to survive in this market. It is well known that staking offers some benefits compared to holding and doing nothing. But how to choose and know that the centralized platform will be safe for us? What to take to guarantee us? Let's not forget why we need bitcoin, besides the profit it brings, we need it to move away from centralized systems like banks. But it would be ironic if we criticize banks and use centralized exchanges to deposit our bitcoins.

I would rather hold my bitcoins in a non-custodial wallet and find another way to accumulate more bitcoins than handing over my bitcoins to a third party.

Rasmus Hojlund is Manchester United's fourth most expensive signing and yesterday he was introduced to the Old Trafford public when Manchester United played a pre-season match against Lens. Seeing the names above it, such as Pogba, Antony, Maguire, all of them seemed unsatisfactory. On the other hand, will Rasmus Hojlund be able to have a real impact for Manchester United at such a big price? Everything is still a question because so many expensive recruits from Manchester United have ended in floops and not as expected. Hopefully he can complete what Manchester United needs later.
Correct, only Fernandez and Casemiro are worth to sign among other expensive players, Antony and Mount are still questionable.

Hojlund, a wonder kid where many people said he's a baby Haaland, it's so funny to hear that Cheesy

I think Hojlund will ended up like Mudryk where he have played many matches, but he can't score any goal even he already play for full time. Lol I see his current status is lack of fitness, so he will not play in the friendly match against Athletic Club. We might see his first debut in the first Premier league match against Wolves.

Actually I have not heard too much about this kid. I just know he is only 20 years old, very young. A lot of people are also talking about him, basically praising him a lot. But I hope they don’t overhype the player.

We have seen a lot of players being sold for a huge amount of money but they were unable to perform at their best potential after that. He is young and he will still need a lot of nurturing to actually be able to unlock his full potential. His physical also needs to be improved otherwise he’s going to pick up injuries quickly.
891  Economy / Economics / Re: The world continues dumping US dollar (Gold, New World Order, World War III) on: August 06, 2023, 12:32:13 PM
Now the world on our planet has once again come close to a world war due to Russia's military aggression against Ukraine and threats of attacks on other European countries. In addition, Russia deliberately creates man-made and environmental disasters in Ukraine, blackmails the world with nuclear weapons and catastrophes at seized nuclear facilities in Ukraine.

Recently, the eyes of the world community have been turned to the provocative actions of the Russian PMC "Wagner", whose representatives, being on the territory of Belarus, threaten to attack the NATO countries - Poland and Lithuania. Their actions, directed from the Kremlin, may well cause a war with NATO countries.

Not having the desired success in military operations against Ukraine, the Putin regime, in order to divert the attention of its citizens from failures on the Ukrainian front, seeks to expand the geography of hostilities and the number of warring countries, since the Kremlin is uncomfortable admitting that Russia is being defeated by the Ukrainians.

78 years (August 6, 1945 - August 6, 2023), the US imperialists dropped the first atomic bomb named "Little BOY" on the city of HIROSHIMA, Japan. The bomb instantly killed 80,000 Japanese people in a short time. These things, how come I never heard anyone complain or criticize. Dropping atomic bombs to kill millions of civilians is called "peaceful messengers". Is this nuclear bomb on a mission to bring peace to the world or is it deliberately erasing a country's name from the world map?
892  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 05, 2023, 09:15:32 PM
The audacious decision made by Leverkusen to extend Xabi Alonso contract until 2026 is evidence of his seismic influence on the group. This commitment indicates Leverkusen willingness to expand on their success under Alonso, despite attractive attention from other European behemoths. Although Real Madrid could be interested, they should instead concentrate on internal issues. Leverkusen is preparing for the upcoming season and is prepared to present a new challenge to Bayern and Dortmund in their pursuit of a coveted berth in the top 4. Leverkusen made a wise choice, a shorter contract extension might have provided more flexibility in a football world that is constantly shifting.
if you look at last season, Leverkusen managed to finish in 6th place, maybe it's natural, but what's extraordinary is that Xabi came when the competition was already rolling, and the team's condition was getting worse because the team was slumped at the bottom of the standings. The standings at the start of this season prove that Leverkusen has been very successful under Xabi Alonso and his contract is worth extending.

Xabi will be one of the great young coaches with tactics and strategy. Because he learned from the experiences of great coaches when playing Pep Guardiola with his attractive attacking style, Mourinho with his pragmatic defensive style, and Ancelloti with his adaptive counter style. Xabi Alonso is a smart player. Able to absorb knowledge since becoming a player. Willing to accept input from coaches and own peers. Rarely seeks thrills.

I have confidence that xabi alonso will become a great coach like Pep Guardiola because when playing Xabi Alonso learned a lot from great coaches when he was coached as Rafa Benitez, Jose Mourinho, Carlo Ancelotti, Pep Guardiola, and Vicente del Bosque.

I absolutely agree with @puloweh555 because there was no chance for the Leverkusen team to actually achieve anything decent in this season. But after that Alonso came along and was almost going to finish in the Champions League sport with the team. But they finished on the sixth position, which is also pretty respectable in my opinion compared to what the club was looking at, at the early part of the previous season. So of course he did a great job. But will he be able to be consistent in the next season?

He is still a young coach. He does not have too much experience to be honest. But I think he has the ability to bring in good results with the Leverkusen team. If he is able to finish in the top four in the upcoming season, I think he will be the target of big clubs, especially Real Madrid.
893  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: August 05, 2023, 05:27:55 PM
I believe Leverkusen did the right thing by extending with Xabi Alonso. Because he came here and saved the team from even the danger of relegation. Because their form was really pointing to the relegation area. He didn't just make do with saving them from there. They climbed to the 6th position as well which helped them join the Europa League group stage. It is normal for the board to offer an extension of contract to him as a result. But of course this doesn't guarantee anything for this team yet.

Of course they did the right thing. And it is also good to see that they are actually trusting the coach who is relatively new to do the job for them. Because he has definitely saved them from a very bad situation. I know that they did not finish very strong in the last season. But still what they have achieved was quite remarkable.

Xabi Alonso is still a new manager as you know. We will see how good he is about consistency. If he continues to impress then I also think he can be Real Madrid's future manager someday

Xabi Alonso was a great player for Real Madrid. He played for Real Madrid for quite a long time. So it is not going to be the most unexpected thing for Real Madrid to actually get him as a manager if he does continue to impress. Let’s see if he can achieve success in the next season with Leverkusen.

Do you really think all these billions in aid are being given away for free? The US is in fact at war with Russia right now. Except for no Americans are dying, no bleeding-edge arms are being destroyed etc etc. It's called a proxy war.

Russia has lost a million people? Muahahaha... too much propaganda is bad for your brain (if you have one that is). The entire Russian army, including the non-military personnel is around 1 million. So, I guess, Ukraine has wiped out the Russian army completely!  Grin Grin Grin

I love these lying propagandist shills, they're so funny!  Grin

I remember the President of the United States said that the United States would support Ukraine against Russia to the last Ukrainian. Yes, it's the Ukrainian people, not any Americans, LOL.

To be more precise, this is a war of two great powers, but unfortunately, Ukraine has become a pawn on the US chessboard and according to their arrangement. I know that the Ukrainian people are very angry and hostile to what Russia is doing. But if they chained and reevaluated everything, then who would benefit most in this war? it was he who started the war. They're giving aid, they're supplying weapons, that doesn't mean they're trying to help Ukraine, they just don't want the war to end soon so they can get more out of it.
895  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian oil and UK on: August 05, 2023, 01:28:01 PM
The US is just a country and they will always put their own interests first, it's silly to believe what they say. A warlike country and rich from war but always consider itself a messenger of peace.
Yes, unfortunately, this is true. The interest of countries, especially the United States, always comes first. The United States always tries to show itself that it is a messenger of peace, but the truth is that words are one thing and actions under the table are something completely different.

These sayings are to influence the masses who are the fuel of wars because they are the ones who suffer from wars, destruction and poverty resulting from wars, while politicians practice hypocrisy in secret and work contrary to all the things they say and get rich and satiated as a result of war trade.

But what is more sad is that there is still a large part of the people who believe and fanatical in what this warlike nation says, they worship America and consider it a savior. Look at the war between Russia and Ukraine, which country benefits the most from arms sales, controlling rivals, export inflation...while not having to fight and not wanting the war to stop.

People who talk about morality and they always say they are good people, the more dangerous and unpredictable they become. Just like the scammers in the cryptocurrency market, those who always talk about morality, always want to help and bring wealth to others are mostly scammers.
896  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 05, 2023, 12:10:24 PM
The Lakers giving Anthony Davis $186,000,000 with a three year extension seems a bit insane given how much time he has missed. He’d better start staying healthy for the amount of money they’re giving him. 62 million dollars when he only plays about 50 games in a good year seems like like overpaying. I sure hope that contract doesn’t come back to bite them.
It's like they're having him the typical Lakers player so that they've got an identity through him. But with the hype that other players getting with huge contracts, I guess that the management has just happened to offer him somewhat on this bracket so that he won't move to another team and won't entertain any other deal that's surrounding him. In crucial times especially when they're approaching the playoffs despite having an injury, when he enters the court, he performs well which he should really be doing.

And with their current lineup, this could be their last chance to have a run to the NBA championship again. Lebron + AD, and the Reaves, D'Lo, Hachimura, newly acquired Hayes to play center and then Vando as their defender specialist and then the addition as well of Gabe Vincent from Miami and the athletic Cam Reddish who should be given enough playing time hopefully so that we can see how good he was, just like when he is still with the Hawks. So it's a very effective lineup if you look at it on paper and only the chemistry is going to be tested here.

Yes, everyone knows that he is very prominent player for Lakher team but don't you think this is nothing but an insane amount of money what they offered him? And I also agree with you guys that for the money that is being offered to him, he better stay fit and play as much as possible.

On paper, this team does look very incredible to be honest. They should have a good performance with this team.

The thing about the players not going to another team is honestly a genuine worry for any team. Especially because now seems to be a time when players are raising the voice about them joining another team which is their favourite. So the teams have to go far and beyond to make sure that the players are going to stay in the team.
897  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian oil and UK on: August 04, 2023, 01:16:02 PM
Why is it surprising that these things always happen in wars, not only the United Kingdom, but I think that all of Europe buys Russian oil and gas, perhaps the United States also does so indirectly.

There are always no values in wars. Arms, contraband and secret deals are active. Politicians give us big words and slogans, but they secretly do morally flawed things. How do you buy oil from your enemy and help him continue his war?
Is this not the highest form of hypocrisy? telling everyone to despise a nation while, behind the scenes, doing business with them. In this situation, who is lying to whom? It's time we stopped basing our decisions on what the US tried to convince us about Russia's conflict with Ukraine. If they can purchase Russian oil, they can still indirectly communicate with Russia about how they want the conflict in Ukraine to continue.
The US is the one who has the right to decide everything about the war between Ukraine and Russia, Ukraine is just a front on the battlefield and any agreement to armistice or continue the war will be decided by the US, Ukraine has no right to decide.

It is very normal for the EU or any other country to quietly buy oil and gas from Russia. Although the war is still fierce, but all need to maintain their economies under all circumstances. This is not really a secret, but for the sake of both parties, this news will never appear in the media.

The US is just a country and they will always put their own interests first, it's silly to believe what they say. A warlike country and rich from war but always consider itself a messenger of peace.
898  Economy / Economics / Re: Food security in the world has been shaken by Russia's actions on: August 04, 2023, 12:31:12 PM

The world community should strengthen sanctions against Russia in order for it to stop its military aggression against Ukraine, as well as send its warships to the Black Sea to ensure the established order in this region. Russia understands only strength, it considers any concessions and compromises a sign of weakness.

But since the international community reacts very weakly to terrorist attacks by the Russian Black Sea Fleet on the ports of Ukraine and its critical infrastructure, Ukraine itself is forced to pacify the aggressor.

Haven't the US and EU already exhausted their sanctions against Russia? Millions of sanctions have been put in place and what more could you want? But they seem to repeatedly fail to contain Russia because of their subjectivity. I don't support war, but why don't you think that the cause of the war is on the Ukrainian side? If they do not resolutely join Nato and do not listen to the instigation of others, nothing will happen. Just stop intending to join Nato, sit at the negotiating table, everything will stop, but there seems to be a larger force that does not want Ukraine to stop for their sake.

Moreover, the US and Nato are doing their best to help Ukraine but it seems that things are not going as they expected and you are starting to criticize the international community just because of the weakness of the EU and Ukraine?

It looks like Manchester City are willing to spend that much money so no other team can come close to Gvardiol this summer and it looks like the strategy is working even though it seems overpriced. But if I may say it's a pretty decent price for a young defender full of potential. On the other hand, Erling Haaland's price was indeed 60 million euros cheaper at that time and maybe due to the uncontrolled transfer market like today, for any big team with good finances there is no need to be confused about spending that much money.

Anyway, with the news that Gvardiol's agreement to join Manchester City made him the most expensive defender in history so far and beat the record previously held by the former Manchester United captain, Harry Maguire.
Outside the context of who is the most expensive defender and the most expensive player recruited by a club, it only gives the impression that a club that is not supported by large funds will never be able to get good players in their respective positions.
It doesn't matter how old the players are and it doesn't really matter what league, as long as the club has a lot of money the chances of getting players are much bigger.
People will say, this is the changing times because every era has its history and this is when business interests determine everything.

Throughout the ages, this longstanding phenomenon has persisted. I think that is the way every team actually brings in players. Those who have more money will be able to get better players. Sometimes, even though Islam does not need to spend too much money to bring in a player, they do it anyway, because they do not want other teams/their rivals to get that player. The thing is now it has become a bigger business than it was ever before.

Maguire was an expensive signing that failed. De Ligt has not developed much at Bayern Munich. When the league returns to activity in the coming days, we will see whether Josko Gvardiol will match the transfer fee with his role at the new club.

With everything going up in price, the defenders who are showing good potential are also becoming very expensive. If we actually think about it, the first season four Harry Maguire with Manchester United was actually good. Somehow for some reason from the next season he literally forgot about defending.  I don’t think anyone actually expected that. De ligt was also showing improvement/potential, but the current improvement of his are not very good to be honest. But as this has already been a normal thing now, it is not going to stop.

900  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to DCA 1.000.000 $ into Bitcoin on: August 03, 2023, 12:06:38 PM
Is there a better way?
With such a financial level and learning about the investment field, I don't think that person needs advice on DCA form, if I own those things I think the financial position is quite good for me. Search for some places that can help and the rest is for other things like entertainment.

But the DCA story doesn't have to be complicated as long as you're ready with the capital, time to implement, monthly, weekly or daily form no matter what. And the investment also needs to be considered from the beginning in terms of the expected return target and the degree of holding the investments. Buying btc today is not difficult, when an ordinary person with just a few training courses can easily buy and manage it, but now to be more realistic, I will continue to think about the problem for $1m.

฿ == $+∞ Grin

How about... $920,000 and 2.625 Bitcoin?

If the price of Bitcoin falls to zero, you will lose $80,000. If the price of Bitcoin rises to +infinity, your $920,000 will become worthless.

If you lost $80k, what would you do to get it back? What do you base it on or do you have any evidence that bitcoin will rise to infinity? You are so focused on profits that you forget about the risks of bitcoin, don't forget that the higher the return, the higher the risk. Bitcoin can be of great value but also can have no value, the future is unpredictable.

Smartest in what?

You buy Bitcoin in Binance, you need to verify your account, and withdraw the coins back to your cold storage, that's already enough.

If you're privacy oriented, you must use decentralized exchange and mixer. It also depends on what you want to achieve, you can evading tax by doing that, it's one of the example.

Binance dot com has no BTC/USD market. You can't deposit there $1m USD. Lol
Even the basics like depositing money on exchanges and buying bitcoins, if you still don't know how to do it then you are not ready to invest in bitcoin especially in large quantities like the OP is suggesting. And the main question OP wants to ask is there is a better way to invest and DCA in BTC with $1 million.
